"Ah finally" Emerald said as they got off the bullhead and began walking into the giant academy
"Yeah" Natsu said as he loved being on dry land "hey congrats Jaune" he said as his friend/student made it through the entrance exam with passing marks
"Thanks" Jaune said as he knew he came in last in the scoring for people who made it but still he made it in
"Ah when is this test gonna start" Mira said as she whined
"Tomorrow" everyone said in unison
"Ahhh they don't even give us rooms till after the test" Emerald said letting out a loud sigh as they were gonna sleep in some random place with everybody
(30 minutes later)
"The hell happened to you two" Natsu asked Ruby and Weiss
"My bag wasn't properly sealed" Weiss said as Ruby tripped over it and some dust spilled causing a chain reaction
"Yeah" Ruby said letting out a cough covered in some ash, she had D-cup breasts, curvy body, and a plump ass
"Hello" Ozpin said getting everyone's attention "I'd like to keep this brief you've all traveled here in search of knowledge to hone your craft and acquire new skills and when you finish you plan to dedicate your life to the protection of the people" he said seeing the smiles upon some peoples faces, while others had scoffs and other arrogant physical responses "but I look amongst you and all I see is wasted energy in need of purpose...direction" he said clarifying "you assume knowledge will free you of this but your time at this school will prove knowledge can only take you so far it up to you to take the first step" he said letting Glynda take over
"He's not wrong" Natsu said as he knew that these people here have yet to scratch the surface of their potential and Ozpin said what he said not to deter them but to show them that there was more to learning and growing than what they had in mind as they all believed they lived in times of peace which was both true and false from certain stand points but they needed a wake up call
(next day)
"This place hasn't changed much" Natsu said remembering when he was first tested by Ozpin here, he walked in search of the closest familiar scent and soon locked eyes with Emerald who shot her blades into an unsuspecting Ursa
"Bout time" Emerald said as they began walking
"How is your semblance coming along" Natsu asked as Emerald's semblance had been improving thanks to Mira and their aura sharing lessons
Years ago when Mira got the spider grimm and it's illusion ability she and Emerald worked together improving their skills Mira had a much easier time thanks to her powers and had been helping Emerald mimic the effect causing her to have less strain on herself and soon Mira and her began to share aura whenever she used the spider grimm's power seeing if she could mimic the feel and therefore the power
"Pretty good causing all sorts of chaos" Emerald said as she had been learning on how to trick as many people as possible even going as far as to mess with technology
"Of course you would" Natsu said as he had to help Emerald dull down her kleptomania as she valued her thief skills and liked to practice he gave her a new way to help her by letting her use her semblance to mess with people managing the urge
"Not my fault my semblance is awesome" Emerald said as her semblance messed with most of the senses but not touch and feeling those were the senses she couldn't mess with
(with Mira)
"So how do you think they are deciding teams" Wendy asked Mira curiously
"Maybe it has to do with the relics" Mira said as Ozpin had a weird method of choice so she wasn't entirely sure
(with Natsu)
"What are you making them see" Natsu asked curiously as Emerald was making a herd of Ursa attack each other
"Making each see a regular bear" Emerald said as she liked to be simple with her illusions and have them be believable and not be noticed since Ursa were exactly like bears there shouldn't be an issue even if any of them were smarter than the rest they wouldn't catch on
"Smart" Natsu said in admittance as he outgrew Ursa as a kid as they were barely a threat to him
"What the fuck is this" Emerald said looking at chess pieces "oh gold" she said checking them out to see if they were the real deal "fake" she said in distaste
Natsu looked at the pieces and grabbed the king piece
"Oh how fitting" Emerald said with a chuckle knowing full well about her teammates pasts and why they were here, she felt important and special to be one of the few that was told
"Damn right" Mira said dropping down grabbing a golden queen piece
Natsu guessed the chess pieces worked in pairs and since the king and queen were a pair they were all on the same team
"Lets let the others enjoy themselves" Wendy said as she heard Jaune running and screaming and the others approach
Natsu agreed as they had yet to meet a real challenge as Ursa and Beowolves were only dangerous in large groups
"You guys feel that" Emerald asked curiously as she could swear there was motion in the ground
"Yeah" Wendy said as she looked down
'Maybe some bug grimm' Mira thought to herself curiously
"Move" Natsu yelled out as they jumped
They all watched as a diamond rose from the ground along with other precious stones
"It's a geist" Mira said to them seeing the mask 'wonder what power I'd get from that' she thought to herself as she wondered what she could get from this grimm as she knew it wasn't as ghostly as it seemed so she always thought levitation making her body lighter for flight or even some kinda matter manipulation
"And it's made out of some precious stones" Natsu said seeing the diamond arms, ruby legs, and emerald body
"Finally a decent grimm" Emerald said as she fully intended to drag away all she could
"I got this" Wendy said stepping up
"Oh let me give you a hand" Emerald said as she helped her partner as they aimed for the arms
"My turn" Mira said as she leaped at the mask part sticking out out the creature trying to rip it from the stones
'This should be interesting' Natsu thought as he saw everyone else take on their own old grimm 'Nevermore and a Deathstalker' he thought thinking those were perfect for the test
Wendy ran toward a restrained arm of the geist that Emerald was holding down with her guns blades wrapped around it and then punched the arm not shattering it but cracking it up decently some large chunks breaking off 'damn' she thought shaking her hand slightly as hitting such strong stone hurt
"C'mon" Mira said trying so hard to rip the geist out of the stone 'wait duh' she thought as she tried to use her take over ability and smiled when she started to float "well goodbye" she said as she opened her mouth and a torrent of flames and lightning left it
'They've gotten better' Natsu thought to himself as he watched them go at it with the grimm soon seeing it no longer had a body the geist left only to be immediately killed
(10 minutes later)
"That was awesome" Nora said as she smiled happily swinging her hammer around a little
"Yeah it was" Yang said as she high fived her fellow adrenaline junkie and aggressive fighter, she had low E-cup breasts, athletic body with great curves, and a nice well sculpted round ass
"Ah a real grimm that was so cool" Ruby said as she had mainly had to deal with the more common variety grimm that came to her home

"We're up next" Emerald said with a smile as they were the only remaining team, but she looked confused seeing Mira's picture first, followed by her own, then Wendy's, and finally Natsu "the hell did you not make team leader" she asked in shock
"Guess not" Natsu said as they went up
"For retrieving the king and queen pieces Mirajane Strauss, Emerald Sustrai, Wendy Marvel, and Natsu Dragneel I name you team Salamander" Ozpin said as the first letter in their last names stayed on screen spelling SSMD "your leader….Natsu Dragneel" he said seeing the dirty look Natsu was giving him for the team name
(2 hours later)
"Whoa" Emerald said as she was counting the pieces of gems she got from the stones the geist used for its body and as she did she watched Mira seemingly absorb dust into her being and reshape the designs of her clothing "dust infused clothing" she said seeing Mira's clothes gain some new designs and marks seeing it glow with dust
"What does dust infused clothing do" Wendy asked curiously
"That's actually not really known information" Natsu said to her as that was the honest truth "dust infused clothing is a bit of a wild card" he said as they all reacted differently and had different reactions and that was not taking into account all the other types of dust used it worked on similar principle to the weapons he reforged for everyone infusing them all with dust
"Man I love these powers" Mira said as the geist's powers were really cool and useful in her opinion
"Can you manipulate this" Emerald asked tossing her a chunk of the stone of her namesake
Mira held the stone for a moment and the stone soon morphed into a clean cut gem
"Nice" Emerald said checking it out
"Man with this we're going next level" Mira said as she was thinking of infusing their clothes with gravity dust to make them even lighter
"Yeah" Natsu said acknowledging the benefit to this ability Mira had

"Made it" Natsu said seeing the others of teams RWBY and JNPR make it a minute before the bell rang and saw them all cheer and sigh in relief they all then sat down as professor Port started to teach and he was someone Natsu liked and found interesting
'Least he's a hands on teacher' Mira thought looking at the wild hog like grimm already having it in her arsenal as it was even weaker than a beowulf 'hell what did this thing ever give me' she thought not remembering what attributes it gave her as all she
'Dumb pig' Emerald thought as those things were annoyances at best when it came to fighting them she didn't even to try to hard or even use her illusions she once made one fall off a cliff just because it was charging her
Wendy shared her thoughts with the others and decided to volunteer and go up and kill it
"It has a weak underbelly" Ruby said to her as the others cheered for her
'That I didn't know' Wendy thought in admittance as that was a good tip the boarbatusk charged her and when it was in range Wendy kicked it under its chin and sent it upward and when she saw its underbelly she striked taking it out
"My word impressive display Ms Marvel" Port said as he and the class clapped for her
"Thanks" Wendy said to him as she sat back down

"What team is that" Blake asked seeing some rather muscle headed idiots get loud in the cafeteria
"Team Cardinal" Pyrrha said as she remembered them when they addressed teams
"They seem like dicks" Natsu said simply as he had seen some of them use their height and muscles to try and intimidate others
"I don't like them" Blake said as she saw they seemed to mess with more of the faunus students
"Let it go for now it's the first week" Natsu said as he couldn't do anything rash here as his definition of justice may have called for his expulsion

Ruby was currently exploring the grounds looking around trying to gain her bearings around Beacon
"Hey is that her"
"That's the girl"
"Heard she skipped two years"

"Can't lead much I guess or they were desperate"

Ruby frowned a little hearing this as despite their 'whispers' she could hear them perfectly well that everyone she passed b thought she was 'lucky' and 'to young' to be here
"You shouldn't let what other people say get to you Ms Rose" Ozpin said as he saw her
"Oh hi" Ruby said quickly trying to hide her nerves
"Ms Rose the reason you are here is because you have the skills and the talent needed to be here" Ozpin said as Ruby was honestly Qrow's best work as the girl was a master at using a scythe from what he had seen and been told she was a true prodigy in the making
"You feel like that you don't belong here Ruby well proved it that you do with how you performed in the test now go see how far your skills take you push past those doubts, you were made leader based on your actions not only in the test but also your character" Natsu said making his presence known "you were born to lead" he said with a smile as he was being truthful as he never saw such fluid and instinctual leadership skills till Ruby
"Thanks" Ruby said walking away having some of her confidence restored
"Perhaps you should teach after graduation" Ozpin said to Natsu curiously
"Nah I'd hate the job" Natsu said as he prefered active combat "also we gotta talk" he said to him
(20 minutes later)
"Salem is not someone who likes to wait" Ozpin said as that was a bit of a difficult statement as Salem was patient in her own way but also impulsive, he had just listened to Natsu say that it had been a while since Salem tried to peer past the 'barrier' Mira erected in Natsu's mind
"Yeah also how you think that gambit with the blood is paying off" Natsu asked him curiously
Ozpin let out a sigh as that was a more risky gamble than he thought it'd be as he was hoping that the blood would 'appease' Salem and give them time to think and act as the woman would somehow get Natsu's via grimm or some other method so he thought if they played her game they'd cancel out any risk factors "tell me Natsu do you know what the most recent grimm discovered is" he asked the boy curiously
"Not a clue" Natsu said wondering where this was going
"Me neither" Ozpin said as he studied up on the grimm that made appearances and the details huntsman gave on them "Salem...likes to experiment" he said as Natsu raised a brow "the grimm are all based on animals or something else entirely" he said as there were grimm based on animals and bugs and then those like the geist, Nuckelavee, and the leviathan "Salem like to pervert nature into her own destructive image" he said as that was god's honest truth
"Yeah I can tell" Natsu said as he knew Salem made the species of grimm
"I feel she will try to use your blood to make something else entirely" Ozpin said as he thought Natsu's blood would fight Salem as it did in James' experiments with the mice

"This is certainly a new development" Salem said as she saw her Wyverns fight amongst her grimm and even another fellow wyvern, she held a vial of Natsu's blood 'perhaps I should save this for rarer circumstances' she thought as she noticed that she couldn't fully control the grimm dragons as they were becoming more and more aggressive 'Cinder should be taking care of things in Vale' she thought as she just sat back and enjoyed watching her wyvern destroy other grimm as she had to admit they did act as violent as the source of their creation
(with Natsu)
"Even if by some nightmare miracle that happened it's dragon blood" Natsu said as he knew his blood was a mix between human and dragon "dragon blood is violent within most things" he said to him
"But Mira" Ozpin said reminding him of that
"That is an exception to the rule" Natsu said as he and Mira had a bond and she had been developing a mate mark his blood acted how it should've with her
"Are there any changes within her" Ozpin asked curiously
"Not to my knowledge" Natsu said as he always chalked it up to the grimm powers she had as Mira never showed many signs of being a dragon slayer despite being able to use his attacks her senses were pretty ordinary and she had yet to be able to go into dragon force
Ozpin had to admit he was curious to what the capabilities were of the dragon slayer as Natsu informed him he had yet to see him at his peak performance and he wondered what kinda warrior Natsu would be when pushed into a corner
"Mira will either unlock those abilities later on or she needs a push" Natsu said as real dragon slayers were born in the face of real danger
"Maybe that is not the issue she has seemed to rely on her grimm abilities a lot" Ozpin said as even though he was impressed by Mira's limited use maximizing the effectiveness of the parts she used she had yet to rely on her other skills "reliance on one skill dulls or makes a person susceptible to being unprepared for when that skill isn't necessary or needed or perhaps even useless" he said to him
Natsu knew he was right as it was a good thing to have a preferred method of fighting but one needed to branch out and have a little variety
(few days later)
"So where's Natsu" Jaune asked curiously as he was suppose to have training with him but Wendy told him he was out
"Had a last minute thing come up I can train you if you want" Wendy asked offering her assistance
"Sure wanna grab breakfast" Jaune said as they had both yet to eat
"Sure" Wendy said as they left
(few minutes later)
"Oh my god that dick" Wendy said seeing Cardin Winchester the leader of team Cardinal "that ass hat tried to pick me up yesterday" she said as she had never been so disgusted in her life
Jaune felt bad for her as Cardin acted like a dick and even tried messing with him but Natsu had his back and put the man to the ground and since then and Cardin had it out for Natsu as he wanted to establish himself as top dog
"Oh my god" Wendy said as she glared at Cardin who was currently messing with a bunny girl faunus tugging at her ears
Jaune had enough as he could care less if Cardin picked on him but he wouldn't stand for that
"Break his legs" Nora said as she screamed only for Ren to reel her in
Jaune had to admit the idea was very tempting but he settled for walking up to Carin and tapped his shoulder
"What do you want runt" Cardin said only for Jaune to punch him in the face breaking his nose "you're dead Arc" he said seeing red
"Really if I'm dead how is my shield hitting you in the face" Jaune said acting coy
"What are yo-" Cardin was saying till Jaune's shield hit him in the head, than again, and again, and once more making Cardin lose his balance and fall over unconscious
"You ok" Jaune asked the bunny girl "what's your name mine is Jaune" he said being polite
"Velvet Scarlatina" Velvet said rubbing her ears and blushed
"Knight in shining armor" Blake said next to Wendy as she watched what happened and smiled as she was glad that bullying racist had got what was coming to him
"Yep" Wendy said as Jaune had terrific character "what are you doing" she asked as Blake went over to an unconscious Cardin
"Having some fun" Blake said as she took out a marker she conveniently had as many people in the cafeteria smiled and didn't say anything as it had been a week and already no one liked Cardin so no one said anything
(with Natsu)
"Ah this is murder Natsu" Mira said as Natsu and her were in the forest around Beacon heading to the mountains as Natsu got her attention by saying that the griffon grimm were there along with the sphinx and manticore grimm
"To bad like I said no grimm powers" Natsu said as he was trying to push Mira's body hoping to get a reaction of some sort from her abilities
"Natsu I can already use your fire and lightning easy why is it so important that I get the other senses" Mira asked curiously
"Mira maybe if you get in touch with your abilities you may be stronger that power that is dormant inside of you is powerful you need to unlock it your limiting yourself like this" Natsu said as Mira unlocking all the traits and abilities of being a dragon slayer could save her life and give her more options to work with
Mira hated this as Natsu was having her limited to just using her sword and dragon slayer abilities and to top it off when they neared the peak he let her go the rest of the way by herself, she soon made it to a high enough altitude where she found a nest 'griffin' she thought as those were the more bird like grimm
The griffin was currently in the nest resting
"Ok calm down" Mira said as she needed to relax as the grimm could sense even the littlest of negative emotions, she focused her thoughts on happy ones and then slowly approached it and hoped on it's back startling it as it then took off 'fuck' she thought as she tried to hold on for dear life, she could feel her heart beating quickly and was soon sent into another mountain where she saw a pack of sphinx "shit" she said rushing one with a her flames ignited separating one from the pack getting on top of it making it take off
The grimm followed Mira through the air wanting to kill her
Mira felt her heart beat out of her chest not from fear but excitement having been restricted made her feel a real sense of danger
Natsu watched Mira intently as she rode a grimm and tried to survive 'c'mon Mira show me something' he thought watching her maintain herself decently
"Ok" Mira said as she ignited both her hands "fire dragon wing attack" she said sending a wave of flames knocking down a lot of the sphinx and griffin grimm
A loud roar soon brought her out of her thoughts as she saw a manticore grimm an alpha at that
'Wonder what that'd do to my hair' Mira thought as the bone like mane of the manticore looked impressive and Mira thought it'd mostly affect her hair 'oh crap these things are heat resistant' she thought knowing full well that when Natsu fought one once he had to up his fire power
The manticore was getting close to the sphinx she was riding
"Time to take this up" Mira said as she grabbed hold of the sphinx and pulled it upward making them fly above the clouds "thanks for the assistance" she said as she punctured it through its throat killing it
Mira closed her eyes as she began to fall toward the manticore hearing it's loud roar
'Now' Mira thought as she extended her arms holding the manticore's mouth open and got blasted with fire showering her in it 'tasty' she thought as she ate the flames and used her powers and got the grimm's abilities "later" she said as she punched upward into its jaw killing it and soon began to descend to the ground
'Do or die Mira this is your moment' Natsu thought seeing her fall through the clouds
'Ok having some bit of mild anxiety here' Mira thought thinking about falling to her death and thinking about saying fuck all and growing her wings 'no' she thought to herself pushing those thoughts aside 'dig deep Natsu believed there was more to me than just this prove he was right Strauss' she said as her power began to build up swelling inside her
"C'mon Mira you're almost there" Natsu said as he could feel Mira's power growing as she fell to the ground knowing she was running out of time and had short minutes before hitting the ground
Mira felt the power coursing through her body not focusing on the ever approaching ground just focusing on her power and as she got closer to the ground she felt that energy explode inside her and as fire enveloped her as she crashed into the ground
Natsu ran to where Mira had crashed knowing full well she was alright and when he got there he was a little speechless as he saw her and looked at her in amazement 'dragon force' he thought as he saw the onyx scales on her face and arms much like his own dragon force and saw her dragon wings and red eyes "nice to officially welcome you to the club Mira congratulations you're a real dragon slayer" he said as he was very proud as he could just tell Mira was much stronger and she had the true abilities of a dragon slayer now
'Wow' Mira thought as she felt amazing and soon felt her dragon slayer magic interact with her take over abilities, she then locked eyes with Natsu and tackled him to the ground soon the forest filled with an intense heat and loud animal like noises making all animal even the grimm avoid
(few days later)
Wendy felt like she had hit a rut as she had been training non stopped yet still felt like she was lagging behind even against Mira the newest dragon slayer 'c'mon I can do more than this' she thought as even though she valued her healing skills as it meant she had the ability to save lives she still wished for something more offensive as despite Natsu's lessons she didn't feel like she had reached her true potential 'not even then' she thought to herself thinking about the fight with Acnologia thinking about what she did when no one had been looking she drank some of Cobra's liquid poison that was on the ground and when she did she felt sick and used her magic to heal herself feeling the effects die down purging it from her system, she did often wonder if the poison element was dormant inside her as Natsu once told her as a kid he ate some of Laxus' lightning and got really sick and after he got his lightning flame dragon mode he told her he felt it was buried deep inside of him just out of reach 'maybe' she thought to herself having a really dumb Natsu worthy idea
Beacon had a map of its area going on for miles sometimes monitoring the grimm outside of it so the academy was always on alert
Wendy looked through the current list of grimm spotted in the area and soon found the one she was looking for the cenitaur "well I hope acid and poison are similar" she said in slight hope as with dragon slayers there was a very small differentiation with the elements as Gajeel could eat all types of metal not just his own iron element she was hoping this was the case with poison
(1 hour later)
'I may need them alive' Wendy thought finding the grimm she had been searching for as they were finally above ground 'poison becomes less potent from a creature after death and I can't eat it after killing it as it'll fade away' she thought to herself knowing that full well as she extracted poison and herbs to make antidotes 'ok cut off the arms' she thought to herself readying her spear
(1 hour later)
"Hey Ruby you seen Wendy" Emerald asked as she and the rest of the team were looking for her as she missed class with Glynda which the woman was both angry and surprised about her missing class
"No" Ruby said as she hadn't seen her in a few hours
"Damn it" Emerald said as she had zero luck like the rest of her team
"Ms Sustrai" Glynda said calling her
"We haven't found her ma'am" Emerald said raising her hands as to state her innocence
"She has been found" Glynda said to her simply her eyes not meeting her student's
"Where is she" Emerald said very adept to reading people and knew something was wrong from the woman's face and the pit in her stomach
"Come with me" Glynda said as she had Emerald follow behind her along with Ruby
(med bay)
"What the fuck" Natsu said as Wendy was in the med bay looking like hell as she was currently unconscious but she had green marks on random places in her body spreading like an infection
"Cenitaur acid poisoning" Mira said as she used it on a few people knowing it's effects
"Is there an antidote" Natsu asked her in concern
"If it entered her blood" Mira said as she got concerned looks "she tried eating it" she said clarifying
"What" Natsu and Emerald said in unison surprised by that
"Ozpin found her on his cameras he got an alert and went to get her himself" Mira said as she was closest when she heard about it and got the information from him when he sent Glynda out to get them
"Maybe my blood can do the trick I've burned out poison before" Natsu said as he still remembered his battles with Cobra remembering his body burning out all the man's poisons and viruses from his body's systems
"It will not work this time I'm afraid" Ozpin said making his presence know "Ms Marvel seeming is only alive from her natural healing abilities your blood is not strong enough to survive a live transfusion with pure acid flooding her systems" he said thinking Natsu may die from that
Natsu took a deep breath in as he went over to Wendy
"Hey" Wendy said waking up seeing Natsu
"What were you thinking" Natsu asked her sadly
"I wanted...to get poison...magic...ate some...of Cobra's" Wendy said weakly as she felt saddened to look so weak to him
Natsu froze momentarily when he heard that "Mira grow a stinger" he said getting weird looks as he grabbed a sterile plastic cup "hurry" he said as Mira then grew a deathstalker tail
"What are you doing" Emerald asked wondering if he had a plan to save their teammate
"Easy I'm gonna poison her" Natsu said as he milked Mira's tail the cup now full of poison
"Natsu she's weak as it is what are you trying to accomplish" Mira asked as shocked by what he said
"Mira you wouldn't know this but when a dragon slayer eats an element it ain't as pleasant as it looks" Natsu said as when he ate lightning it felt terrible till his body adjusted to it he could only guess it was the same with the others "if Wendy ate Cobra's poison that power may be dormant inside her" he said approaching Wendy with the poison he got from Mira "Wendy I need you to eat this ok eat it" he said as this was all up to Wendy now
Wendy nodded and began to suck in the poison everyone hearing a familiar slurping noise and soon the poison was all gone and Wendy began to wince in pain
"Now feel the sensation it'll be short a few moments that poison is becoming a part of you Wendy don't fight it feel it within you make it your own" Natsu said as he felt the lightning in him was once Laxus' but after so long it felt more like his he wanted to impart that information onto Wendy
Wendy felt the poison coursing through her and soon relaxed in ease as what Natsu said came to pass
