Episode 4: Date with the devil
A girl sits in the window of a classroom, with her legs hanging out the window, and her butt barely holding her up. She's got long pure white hair, with big bulky headphones on, and dark markup. She's wearing a shirt shirt, with a black jacket over it, a black skirt, with a yellow plad design, and black leather boots that go almost up to her knees. A bird flies by, and she sighs. "Lucky bastard. I wish I had wings you know" she says revealing a british accent. "Alicia, you get back in this classroom right now" says a female teacher. "What if I did this instead love" the girl asks as she throws herself from the window. Meanwhile, a little before that, Takumi, Yuto, and Kazuchi walk around the school building. "And finally, I'd add the ZX-III. The F-IIII is technically better, but it weighs more, and decreases your reflexes and dexterity" says Takumi. "True, but the ZX model is known for unreliability. Remember, it overheated on Srgt. Hanson" says Yuto. "You see, that's why you guys don't have girlfriends" says Kazuchi. "So? You don't either, besides, girls don't just fall from the sky you kn-" starts Takumi. Suddenly, the girl crashes down on all three of them. "Huh, that landing was suprisingly less painful and lethal than I thought" she says. "Glad we could help, now get off" says Kazuchi. She looks down and sees him, and stands up quickly. All 3 stand up, and her eyes instantly lock on Takumi as he dusts off his arms. "Hey mate, can I see your hand for a second" asks the girl. "What? My hand? What do you-" starts Takumi. She grabs his hand without his permission, and looks at his wrist to see a birthmark. "Yeah, that's been there since I was a little kid" says Takumi. "Of course it has. I still have m'scar too" she says as she turns around and she's a scar going across the side of her neck. "Wait, I only knew one person with a scar like that. I-It can't be" says Takumi. "Who is she" asks Yuto. Takumi and her quickly hug each other. "Only'is best friend in the whole world. How've ya been mate? How's your sister" asks Alicia. "She's good. How about yours" asks Takumi. "No clue. Left when she turned 18 and never turned back" says Alicia. Suddenly, some teachers come around the corner. "Don't worry mate, I already stole your address off the computer. I'll talk to you later then" she says. "Alicia! Stop it right now" yells a teacher. "Screw you and the system! I'm free" Alicia yells as she flips them off and runs off. "Be honest guys, could you ever see her saying yes if I asked her out" asks Takumi. "Nope" says Kazuchi. "Certainly not" says Yuto. "Too much honesty guys" he says with a sigh. "You don't know if you don't say anything" says Kazuchi. "Like you've got room. It's obvious you like Mia" says Takumi. "Mia has a boyfriend, plus, she doesn't really date guys like me" says Kazuchi. "Yeah right. Your just as embarrassed about it as I am. It's not easy asking out a childhood friend" says Takumi. Kazuchi sighs. "You've got that right" he says. Takumi looks at Yuto. "What about you, you've got a female childhood friend too right" asks Kazuchi. "Indeed I do. She goes to this school even, although, me and her haven't spoken since we were 11" he says. "Why not" asks Takumi. Yuto turns a little red. "I-I asked her out. She turned me down, then refused to speak to me anymore" he says. "Annnd there goes any confidence I did have" Takumi says sarcastically. "Maybe I know her, what's her name" asks Kazuchi. Inamia Rokisan, although just about everyone called her Ruki" says Yuto. "Ruki? You mean anime girl" asks Kazuchi. "Anime girl" asks Takumi. "Yeah, she's that anime nut second year. You know, she does all the cosplay? Always does her hair in twin tails? Does weird poses" asks Kazuchi. "There's a girl with pigtails in the school" asks Takumi. "Yeah, shouldn't be too hard to recognize. She doesn't come to school a lot though" says Kazuchi. "Well damn. I wanted to see some twintails" says Takumi. "Your obsessed with twintails aren't you" asks Kazuchi. "Kinda. It's definitely a hairstyle I believe makes a girl 10% more cute. 20% if she's got the innocent personality too" says Takumi. Later that day, Takumi steps outside the school, and takes a deep breath. "I love lunch breaks" he says. Suddenly, he's grabbed from behind. "Guess who. You owe me a kiss if your wrong mate" Alicia says jokingly. "Alicia, I only know one person with a british accent" says Takumi. "Well yeah, but you could've stolen a kiss there" she says jokingly as she lets go, spins him around, and gives him a kiss on the cheek. "Didn't I mention the prize for guessing right was a kiss from a pretty girl" she asks. Takumi blushes, and she smiles and punches his arm. "Still the same old Takumi, I love it" she says. "I thought you were meeting me at my place" he says. "I was going too, but I knew you wouldn't ditch school, and I didn't want to wait. Now I'm kidnapping you and spending the day. Let's go mate" she says. "H-Hey, I can't ditch school" says Takumi. "I did bring rope, and a sock if you wanna do it the hard way" she says. "Your...kidding right" asks Takumi. She pulls out a rope, and holds up one of her feet. "Try me mate" she says. "I warn you, I'm not afraid to try and turn the tables. Grab the rope and run circles around you" Takumi says jokingly. The two laugh, and she grabs his hand. "As fun as that all sounded. I still prefer the easy way" she says. "I think I like easy too" he says as they walk off. Meanwhile, Totska looks furious with Yuto in front of her. "He's missing?! Again?! Urgh!, Taki, you make it hard to love you sometimes" she says as she pulls out her phone, and goes into a tracker. She looks mad. "His phones off. Tracker won't work" says Totska. "I'm sure it's nothing. He saw an old friend today, Alicia I believe her name was" says Yuto. "No. Not Alicia Silva! I don't trust her" says Totska. "Why so" asks Yuto. "She's one of those people that likes burning things, and dark music, and dark literature and all that. She probably wants to sacrifice Takumi to a goat god or a pig or something" says Totska. "That's a bit of an over exaggeration don't you think" asks Yuto. "We need to follow them, see what she's doing to him" says Totska. "B-B-But I've never skipped school a day in my life" says Yuto. Your about too, let's go" she says as she drags him away. They end up following Takumi and Alicia to a cafè. "A cafè? Really? That's so cheesy" says Takumi. "Oi, I love coffee. Last I knew, so did you" she says. "Well yeah" says Takumi. "Then ignore the cheesiness and help me find a table mate" she says as they walk in and find a table. Totska and Yuto take one nearby. "So, what happened to you anyways Alicia? You just sort of disappeared on me. Not gonna lie, I actually thought you died as a kid" says Takumi. Alicia chuckles, and moved her hair to show a huge scar going all the way down the back of her head. "Almost" she says. "I remember hearing you got in a really bad accident, and then my mom told me I wouldn't see you anymore" says Takumi. Alicia stares off for a moment. "For an entire week, I didn't even know who I was. That was the most scared and alone I've ever felt. It helped me realize something important mate, I'm not perfect, and neither is my life, but I'd miss every part of it if it were gone. As weird as it sounds, I kinda realized I like being me" she says. "You should. Trying to be someone else would only lead to frustration" says Takumi. Alicia smiles. "So, what have you been up too? No girlfriend" asks Alicia. "No girlfriend, although I do have a friend that's a girl. I'm in a club with her. She's weird, stubborn, and kinda creepy" says Takumi. "Seems like you have a particular taste in girls. Is that your type" asks Alicia. "T-Type? I never really thought I had one" he says. "Didn't you once tell me you had a weakness for accents" asks Alicia. "Wow, that was like...forever ago. Yeah, I guess I do" he says. "See? Obvious flirting. She's got something sinister planned. You can see those wheels turning" says Totska. "Honestly it seems exactly as it looks. Two friends having coffee and catching up" says Yuto. After the coffees arrive, Alicia takes Takumi's hand. "Come on mate. Let's walk and drink" says Alicia. "Your always on the move aren't you" says Takumi. Alicia just winks at him, and leads him out, and Totska and Yuto rush in pursuit. The next place she leads him is an arcade. "An arcade" asks Takumi. "Yeah, you always loved games yeah? Let's play a few" she says. "This is starting to seem more like a date" says Takumi. "And what if it is" she asks. "I don't know, aren't you worried people are gonna get the wrong idea" asks Takumi. "I don't give a shit what they think, not that I'd mind them thinking that. Your m'friend, and I could think of worse people. It's you who should worry" says Alicia. "A date with a pretty girl? Litterly see no way someone could ruin it for me" he says jokingly. She smiles, and leads him inside. They come up to a crane game, and they both smile. "Remember this" she asks. (Flashback). A young Takumi and Alicia each have one of the levers, and try getting a prize. They drop it, and Takumi sighs. "Awe man. We only have enough for 1 more try" says Takumi. Alicia grabs Takumi's hand. "We can do this Takumi. Don't believe in yourself, or me. Believe in us" she says. Takumi smiles, and they try it again, and just barely drop it. Takumi sighs. "Man, I wanted to win you a prize" he says. She breaks the glass, and some alarms go off. She grabs the one they were just trying to get, and winks at Takumi. "There. Thank you" she says as she kisses his cheek, grabs his hand, and they rush off. (Flashback ends). Takumi chuckles. "All that for a stuffed bunny rabbit" he says. "Hey, that bunny means a lot to me. I've still got it" she says. "What'd you call it" asks Takumi. She turns red. "Er, Takumi" she says. "Really" asks Takumi. "Don't judge! I just missed m'mate is all. We did just about everything together" she says. "You know, you never did say where you went that whole time. There's no way you were in the hospital that whole time" says Takumi. "Let's just say I've been busy mate" she says. "She's been plotting this a long time" says Totska. Yuto sighs. "I doubt she was thinking about anything of that nature when she was young" he says. "Oh yes she was. It's why she's never had a friend other than Takumi. Everyone's afraid of the little girl who thinks her dolls look better without heads" says Totska. Takumi and Alicia walk out of the arcade after a bit, and Alicia is holding a stuffed cat face, and smiling. "Well, where too next on our date" asks Alicia. "Aha! It is a date" says Takumi. She smiles and lightly punches his arm. "Just pick. Nothing around the west bridge though" she says. "The west bridge huh? There must be something there she doesn't want Takumi to see. Yuto, go investigate. I have to keep following them" says Totska. "Can we please just go back home" asks Yuto. "Right, you'd probably try and ditch me. Guess saving Takumi is gonna become a club activity" she says as she shoots Kayako and Kazuchi a text. Takumi takes Alicia to an old abandoned building. "This place? But it always scared you (sees he's trembling), and apparently still does" she says. "Well, we went to a place I liked to hang out. Not it's your turn" says Takumi. "Hey now mate, I'm not worried about it. There's loads of other-" she says. He takes her hand, and starts leading her towards the building. They get up to the front door, where Takumi tries to walk in, and Alicia laughs. "You've never been in an abandoned house before have you" she asks. "No. I say that with pride" says Takumi. "She smiles, and leads him around to a boarded up window. She easily moves the board aside. "Windows mate. Always use windows" she says. "Why" asks Takumi. "Feels more like an actual break in" she says jokingly as she climbs in. Takumi does too, and she grins his hand tight. "Don't let go in here, I'm serious" she says. She leads him to a little spot, where there's a cushion, a few empty energy drink cans, and a few empty cans. "This was my "get away from mum and dad" spot. I stayed here for nearly a month once when I got mad at them" says Alicia. "You must have been really mad" says Takumi. "I was, but not at them I suppose. I was already upset and 1 one little push sent me over" she says. "What were you upset about" asks Takumi. "I can't remember. I wrote it in my diary. Wanna read what little Alicia wrote mate" she asks as she pulls a diary out from under the cushion. "Nah, I feel like that's a violation of your privacy" says Takumi. "Suit yourself. I'm reading it" she says as she opens it and turns to the page she was talking about. "Dear diary, I don't know what to do. I have a really big crush on Takumi, but I'm worried he's the kind of guy who's gonna choose a better girl. Someone better looking, better behaved, and someone that everyone doesn't run from. He's my best friend. I guess I'm gonna wait until I'm a grown up. The day I turn 18, I wanna ask him out for sure. Mum and dad say I shouldn't date boys, especially like Takumi, but I don't care". Alicia turns red. "I'm so glad he didn't read that" she says as she closes the diary. "Oh? Is it about me" asks Takumi. "Curious now aren't you? Sorry mate, but it's too late now. I already know what's written in there now" she says teasingly. "That's fine. I didn't peg you as someone who would write bad things about me" says Takumi. He looks out the window and sees the sun is starting to go down. "Well, today was fun, but we really should-" he starts. "One more place. Not gonna lie, it's kinda the reason I drug you out today, trust me mate, this surprise is gonna blow your mind" she says as she slides the diary back under the cushion, and they walk out. Totska quickly sneaks in, and grabs the diary. She opens it, and reads one of the earliest entries. "Dear Diary, I met a boy today. He's kinda weird, he's goofy, and honestly, he's pretty scrawny, but he's also the nicest person I've ever met. He's not judging me, or trying to control me, or even "just trying to figure me out". He's genuine. His name is Takumi, and I really hope he becomes my friend". Totska goes through a few pages, and sighs. "For such a dark personality, she has an aweful lot of positive things to say about my brother" she says. She and Yuto follow them into the woods, and eventually, they come to a cliff side. "Takumi, I haven't been completely open about what today was about. I think it's about time I told you why your here-" starts Alicia. Totska looks around and sees people hiding behind trees. "I knew it" she says. Yuto's eyes widen. "Don't worry Takumi! I'm coming" Yuto says as he climbs a tree and grabs a vine to swing on. He swings about 2 feet, and the vine snaps, dropping him down on the ground. Suddenly, Alicia grabs Takumi's hands. "Takumi, I'm in love with you" she says. Takumi turns red. "I overheard that you had a crush on me. I didn't know if it was true, but I had to know. I've had strong feelings for you since I was a little girl. In my diary, I wrote that I was gonna ask you out on my 18th birthday. Do you know what today's date is" she asks. Takumi's eyes widen. "May 17th. Your birthday's tomorrow" says Takumi. "Takumi, tomorrow, I'm going to ask you out. It's okay if you say no, really it is. I wasn't even sure if you were single. I just want to know if you ever did feel the sa-" she starts. Takumi pulls her in. "Are you kidding? I'm pretty sure I liked you first" he says. "Th-then-" she starts. "It's a yes. If you really want to wait until tomorrow, that's fine, but if you wanna start now-" he starts. She grabs him and kisses him. The people come out from behind the tree, and clap, and Takumi turns beat red. "Wait to go man. She's been waiting a long time on you" says a guy with shaggy black hair. He's got a black shirts with a black vest on over it, jeans with a chain, and black leather boots. "Alright lover. Now, be honest, how are you feeling? The realism hasn't hit me yet" she says. "Me neither. It feels like a dream" he says. "Ah, I was correct all along" says Yuto. "That harlette-" starts Totska. Her phone goes off, and she opens up a picture attachment from Kazuchi. It's a picture of a mattress that has strong wires hanging out of each of the four corners. "Really? That's all that's down there. It's just junk" says Totska. "Well, congrats. Due to your obsession, we lost the entire day" says Yuto. Totska sighs, and looks back to see Takumi and her are now leaning against each other looking over the cliffside.
