~Midnight~
Kenma's POV(kinda)
Haruki and Kenma had been playing until 12am until Kuroo gave up and left, much to Kenma's delight.
"He brought the cat. He lost the cat. I brought a girl. He stole the girl," were Kuroo's last words before he left.
Kenma put down his console and stretched. He blinked his eyes and looked back at the screen. Haruki and Kenma had just finished the 57th level. Haruki was surprisingly amazing in gaming. Plus, she doesn't talk as much as Kuroo.
"Should we level up?" Kenma asked. But there was no reply. Looking over his shoulder, he saw that Haruki was struggling to stay awake as her eyelids were drooping and her head was lowering slowly. That's sorta cute...Wait what? Kenma immediately brushed away the thought, grimacing.
"H-Haruki-chan? You're...f-falling asleep," Kenma stuttered while gently shaking her shoulder. Haruki jolted awake, startling Kenma as he edge back, eyes wide with shock.
Haruki's eyes blinked in the darkness, her bright green eyes reflecting Kenma. Kenma felt a hint of familiarity after looking into her eyes. "Haruki... I know we just met... but have I seen you before?" Kenma asked. Haruki's eyes immediately avoided his gaze before stammering, "N-no... not t-that I know of...Wait... what time is it?!"
"12:30am."
"What?!" Haruki
"Yea."
"Uh... I need to go..."
Haruki turned her head to the window while Kenma stuttered, "Um... I- my parents... they're on a... business trip. I wouldn't mind- I mean if you don't mind, you could stay here for the night?"
Haruki turned her head to face him, her expression unreadable.
