Something strange happened last night. A strange man who looked like Inuyasha…he was in my dreams.

I was alone in the grove, curled up and warm, when he approached. It was Inuyasha.

I looked around. Inuyasha stepped out of the shadows. His voice was a growl. "I thought I'd find you here."

"What are you doing here?" I said.

"I thought I'd find you in your dreams," he replied.

I fell back a step. "A-Are you really here? In my dreams?"

"It doesn't matter. This is the only place I can find out the truth." He took my hand, and removed my glove. "I know how this works. You can't read me here…but you won't be able to lie to me either."

Inuyasha grabbed my hand. There were sparks, and I felt our minds connect.

"Now tell me," he said. "Did you try to kill someone with your powers? Are you trying to kill me?"

"What? N-No! I could never try to kill you! I did try to kill someone one time. But it was to protect someone I care about!"

He dropped my hand. "I saw your memory…who was that little boy?"

"I'm not telling you, Inuyasha. You shouldn't have seen that. I didn't want you or anyone to know."

"I'm…sorry," he said. He put one hand on my cheek and pulled my face toward his, and he…he kissed me.

I woke up then.

Inuyasha looked at her. "Is something wrong?"

"It's…about my dreams."

Inuyasha stared at her. So she remembered.

"In your dream? Are you crazy? I wasn't in your dream! Th-That's impossible!"

"Sure, Inuyasha. I know you were in my dreams."

Reiko came in with a demon that had white hair like Inuyasha. "Hey you two! I have someone with me."

"What? Huh?" They both got out of the car.

"This is Sesshomaru," replied Reiko.

Sesshomaru gave Inuyasha a meaningful look.

Inuyasha was shocked. "Sesshomaru? Is that you?"

"Wait, how do you two know each other?" Kuri-san asked.

"We're brothers," Inuyasha growled out. "But I thought he wasn't coming here…"

"I wasn't going to, but I couldn't let you have all the fun, little brother," Sesshomaru said.

It was awkward.

"Okay, well, let's go in; it's cold out here," Kuri said.
