Thalia Third Person POV
Thalia's day was going wonderful so far, but she didn't even finish it yet. She had gotten the green bell from Artemis, in which she could go to camp with the Hunters.
She wasn't afraid to admit she missed the Kelp Head, Corpse Breath, Owl Brain, and the goat. It also seemed that Artemis saw that her sister was wanting to see Thalia's best friends again, so because Artemis was the loyal sister and Thalia was her lieutenant, she allowed it. Although, Grover may not be able to greet Thalia as he has the Lord of the Wild duties, which; even though Artemis wouldn't want to connect with the satyr, she has to agree that the duties you have to do are sometimes horrible.
The Huntresses had all made it to the outskirts of the camp, where Thalia gave Phoebe the hand signal to blow the horn, which the Huntress did so happily but also dreadfully. If the Daughter of Zeus had to guess; she would guess that the only reason Phoebe was happy right now was just because she can blow the horn while the rest just dreaded being in camp. Thalia doesn't blame her, other than her friends, the rest of the camp was horrible. At least in their opinions.
"Phoebe, get the Huntresses to our ladies' cabin. I got a few people to meet." She ordered in which, Phoebe simply nodded and started to lead the Huntresses to the cabin, as fast as she could.
Thalia ran out of the hiding and into the clearing, already expecting to see the others but she didn't. It was a weird experience but she shrugged it off as the others do sometimes be late. Nevertheless, Thalia started looking around from her higher position, overlooking the camp. Her eyes skittered around the camp hill until they stopped right when she saw 2 blobs of black hair and gold hair.
Yet there was another blob of black hair, and instead of the gold hair being long: it was short. Which really just made her about to look away because Thalia thought she saw them until the recognized Will Solace. The presence of the Son of Apollo just confirmed that Nico was near, so did Annabeth dye her hair? If she did, why would she do it? The Daughter of Athena does take pride in her hair because it shows that she fits in with her cabinmates. Although Athena has black hair, so: it would make sense if Annabeth has dyed her hair.
The Daughter of Zeus ran over to where the 4 were standing and she received no response. Not one of them looked at her, making her a bit more angry as they seemingly are ignoring her. But it would be embarrassing if they aren't even the people she was looking for. That thought was demolished right when Percy turned around and saw her.
His face quickly morphed into one of happiness, shocked, and it then shifted to worry as he glanced back towards where Nico was on top of 'Annabeth.'
"Thals!" He yelped out, voice going high. His cousin seemed very angry, and she wasn't the one to blame. He wouldn't blame her if she started beating him, or at least scold him heavily. After all, he didn't even see her until Thalia was a fair distance close to them.
Thalia's eyes narrowed, looking to where Nico was on the ground with a girl but at closer observance, it wasn't Annabeth. Yet she swore she recognized the skin on the girl. Which in response, Thalia shook her head in dismissal.
The Son of Apollo's day kept switching from horrible to awesome. At first, he woke up and saw that he had another day of peace, which is a point into the day being awesome. After that, he saw that Nico was holding a girl's hand, which he got the wrong point and there was a point on the horrible side of the day. However, Nico went out of his way and came looking for Will, and that made Will fall more for Nico. Merely at the thought, his heart just leaped, making him blush although no one noticed, luckily.
"Neeks!" Thalia hollered, making Nico jump off of the girl to where Thalia had a better look onto the girl. Upon closer inspection, the features that highlighted the girls' face made Thalia's fall. She stepped backwards in shock, keeping her horror-stricken expression.
"Y-you're dead." Thalia whispered. She never thought she would ever see Bianca again until the day Thalia died, which would be no day. She was sure that the only time she would see Bianca again was when she was entering Elysium Yet Bianca was sitting right in front of her, alive.
The Daughter of Hades' face broke into a massive grin, making her jump upwards, and hug Thalia...hard. She gets to meet Thalia, once more. Thalia was basically Bianca's role model, and her idol other than Zoƫ. There are a lot of things to admire about the Daughter of Zeus, from her stubbornness, to her fighting abilities and bravery.
Thalia yelped in surprise at how strong the Brother of Nico was. Bianca had increased in strength, or it might have been adrenaline. She also seemed to realize that Bianca had grown since her death, quite literally as the 2 girls stood at the same height.
"H-how?" The Daughter of Zeus quickly pulled away, wiping the tears out of her eyes, she turned to Bianca. She instantly became ashamed as her usual tough demeanor was completely obliterated and she had just publicly showed it. She usually had to act tough, when she was with Luke...Luke. She shook her head to get rid of the thoughts of the Son of Hermes, making her heart noticeably beat a bit faster than usual. He wasn't her crush...no, he was dead. But since Bianca was alive, there was a chance he could be alive.
"The Fates came to me and offered a new life." Bianca explained slowly, eyeing Thalia under an impression of nervousness.
Percy saw the hope in Thalia's eyes, and he felt horrible for her. He already hoped for his other friends to be alive but then Bianca revealed that she was the only one, just another blow from the Fates. He did feel guilty for multiple deaths, even more so for his friends. He didn't even know dozens of demigods during the war but he felt guilty for all their deaths. He did lead the demigods into 2 battles, and caused dozens of deaths. 20 in the Battle of the Labyrinth and another dozen in the Battle of Manhattan. He decided just to bluntly interrupt Thalia in her train of thoughts, "Bianca was the only one revived." He saw how Thalia's face fell but lifted right after into her usual stoic face. It was a face that Percy wanted, but he clearly always had to have all his emotions revealed like a palm to a hand.
"Oh." Thalia replied back, but her closest friends could see the sadness behind the tone, howeverThalia didn't want pity. It was the world she had to live in, and she just had to accept it. "Well? What are you guys looking at?"
Nico flinched under the tone of her voice, it was very cold but yet he already knew what it was like. After all, he did have to live through the death of Bianca and then hate the person he used to like. It sounded very weird but he doesn't care, at all. All his troubles were basically fixed for, except for love troubles. But, hopefully, Aphrodite can help his love life. She did send a few dreams about his future; which basically withheld him and Will adopting a child, and he wake up after that dream and blush heavily, head to toe.
Thalia eyes flashed over to Percy, meeting his sea green eyes. "Where's Annabeth?" She questioned, deciding to change the subject because that is the best thing to do in that kind of situation.
The Son of Poseidon froze under his cousin's stare, refusing to answer her. He didn't want to answer her but he just realized that probably wasn't good for his health. So he sighed in defeat, "In her cabin." He answered back, preparing for Thalia to question him again but that wasn't finished when she just stormed off, making a beeline towards Cabin 6.
She hated standing there, she already regretted going into camp. Thalia knew she had a heart, yet she hated the feeling when she was forced to fight Luke, kick him off the cliff, join the Huntresses because she thought Luke was dead, and find out he was alive but then he wasn't himself anymore. She didn't even get to see Luke in his final moments alive, making her feel even wore about her love life. Certainly, Aphrodite should be grinning like crazy by now as the 2 have a heavy rivalry. Aphrodite was crazy, so it wouldn't really surprise anyone that she had created another struggling Huntress.
The Daughter of Zeus entered Cabin 6, completely ignoring to knock which was a bit rude but she was looking for Annabeth. She saw her sulking in her bed, while Malcolm stood beside her, reading a book about statistics, measurements, and other stuff about architecture. Thalia cleared her throat, interrupting Malcolm which the Son of Athena responded by jumping up and quickly getting out of the cabin. She didn't take pride in it though, as...well this is the cabin where everyone is a pride-struggling child.
Her face softened when she kneeled beside the bedside of Annabeth before she started speaking, slowly, "What is wrong?"
The Daughter of Athena flinched right at the question, turning towards Thalia she showed how she looked. She really despised herself now that she had left Percy. She thought they could go through the rest of the demigod life, together. It would have been a wonderful experience, she shouldn't even had let her pride take over and blind her. Yet she came to terms that it was her fault, and when a high-prided person finally admitted something, it proves that the situation was terrible.
"I-Percy and I broke up." She answered before burying her head in her pillow again, crying once more whilst trying to hide the face of pure shame.
Thalia's eyes widened in shock and horror. She didn't even know they broke up, and why would they in the first place? Based on how hard Annabeth is crying, Thalia is guessing Percy did something bad. But what did he do bad? His fatal flaw was loyalty, an admirable fatal flaw but that basically also clears him of lots of things. So he would have never cheated on Annabeth. "What? What happened?" The Daughter of Zeus continued, sitting on the bed beside her sisterly figure and pulling her into a hug.
Annabeth just started to admit everything, telling Thalia of how she was controlled and how Xander used her own fatal flaw against her and completely destroyed the relationship she relished with Percy. She told of how she regretted it and how she was sorry but he didn't seem to care anymore.
Thalia felt angry but sad at the same time. The anger was mainly centered onto Aphrodite and Annabeth but she couldn't hate Annabeth. After all, Thalia raised her and they shared a close bond. But Aphrodite is an exception as anyone could hate her. The Daughter of Zeus contemplated onto the best thing to say, "You can't be stuck in here forever, Annie. You cannot keep running back to the past over-and-over. Move on from Percy. Remember, you always have a spot in the Hunt."
Annabeth's face morphed into an angry one, she couldn't just move on from Percy. She loves him, a lot. Even though he is a Seaweed Brain, she still loves him and she can't just move on. "I can't move on from Percy though!" She yelled.
Thalia was taken aback, in shock mainly because Annabeth was yelling at her. She knew her words didn't have the intended effect but Annabeth didn't have to yell it out. "You have to though! Even though I don't know much about love, I do know that you and Percy won't be together anymore!" Thalia yelled back. Although parts of what she said was incorrect, she indeed does know what it was like being heartbroken, she cried herself to sleep all the time before she joined the Hunt.
"Leave! Get out!" The Daughter of Athena yelled back, but was suddenly brought back to reality when Thalia slapped her. A face of horror shone onto Annabeth's face as it paled. She didn't mean to yell at Thalia, she was just angry. Percy was literally a girl attracter, and yet she can't move on from him. She loves him and she feels like she deserves a happy life with Percy after her one of a Hades life. He deserves to be happy, and she deserves to be happy. The Fates really are cruel. Suddenly, Annabeth noticed that Thalia just stood up and started leaving her to sit there. "Wait! Don't! I-"
The Daughter of Zeus was angry at how Annabeth treated her even though she tried to help Annabeth, so she just ignored Annabeth's pleas and left her sitting there. Letting her cry once more but Thalia was angry at that time. She drove herself to the Artemis' cabin and this time, she wanted Artemis to be here. But her lady has to be doing her duties, and Grover has to do his duties so she couldn't see either of them. Tyson had to do his duties in Poseidon's palace, rebuilding it but now she had to deal with all of the love problems everyone is juggling around.
Nico and Will do love each other, Thalia could read her cousin really well and since Will is Apollo's son, she could read his expression pretty well as the father-and-son share some resemblances, and that is how she read that he loved Nico. Percy and Annabeth had broken up with Annabeth being blinded by her pride, and Thalia doesn't blame her much. There are her friend's love troubles but at least those can be solved. She couldn't fix her love problem, and she just hated that. She was suddenly interrupted with Percy and Bianca stepping in front of her, blocking the way to Cabin 6. "What are you guys doing?" She growled out, glaring at her 2 cousins but they didn't flinch, which was a shocking task for both of them as her glare was terrifying.
"We saw you storming away from Cabin 6. So Bianca wanted to go and help your mood but Nico didn't trust her to be alone as she can quickly join the Huntresses...and since Nico and Will need some private time together, they trusted me to watch over her and make sure she doesn't join the Hunt." Percy explained bluntly, which he didn't really think of the possible intended effect it could have on both girls as they both flinched.
Thalia nodded slowly and sat down on the ground, Percy and Bianca following rather hesitantly but the Daughter of Zeus doesn't really care. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw Bianca's eyes flash over to Percy for a split second and another sense of dread entered her stomach, increasing the amount of how much she hated her life. Bianca liked Percy, and that is just another reason for Thalia to punch the Goddess of Love.
