PERCY P.O.V
I was in the middle of not accepting my father's apology when Lady Hemera contacted me telling me of a war meeting. I walked back into the shadow and came out in a room in the Mansion of Nyx. All the Primordials had already taken their place around the War table. Chronos(not the titan), Ananke, Tartarus ( who was defending his domain last time),Eros, Erebus, Pontus, Hemera, Aether, Nyx, Ouranos, Gaea ( who was told that the gods were ruining earth, so she defended her domain. She's actually super nice, Mother Earth). I took a seat next to Relia a daughter of Hades, we were the only non-primordials to know about the war and were good friends and partners in crime.
"Did you have to leave me there Nyx? With them?" I asked
"Yes, I did Percy" Nyx replied.
"So, what did the Olympians say about our threa- I mean warning- Oh who am I kidding I mean threat" asked Ouranos.
"They didn't say anything, but their thoughts were along the lines 'Its obviously a war for power. The enemies want our thrones. They'll say to remain out and then attack us.'"
"Stupid Gods." Commented Eros
"What do we do about them?" Tartarus intervened before everyone started insulting the gods.
"I say we wait, wait and see what the gods will do. If they act, we'll retaliate, and we did give them a warning. Besides Its not like twelve gods pose us a threat that too twelve gods who aren't even unified." Relia stated
"Because we're unified. Hades we're about to go into war" Pointed out Chronos
"I say we at least tell one god what is going on. They are the current rulers on Earth, and we may need their assistance." I said, ignoring Chronos.
"Which god?" Asked Aether
" Not Zeus, He's too egotistical, Hera has too much pride, Hades might recognize Relia, Hestia might be too peaceful to take act, Demeter would tell Persephone who would tell Hades and I believe Percy Wouldn't want to work with Poseidon for the time being" Erebus evaluated.
"So, none of Kronos's children" Pontus clarified "Who else?"
"Not Athena she has deadly pride, Dionysus barely pays attention, Apollo has a huge ego going on and on about how awesome he is, Artemis and her opinions on males would cause some huge problems." Said Gaea.
"And that leaves Hermes, Aphrodite and Ares." Said Nyx
"Not Aphrodite she is just a slut, and Zeus would undoubtedly suspect Hemes if the time came since he is a trickster god, so the only option is Ares." Ouranos claimed
"Ares" I groaned.
" Yes Ares"
" Into the next order of business" Chronos called
"What are the titans doing?" Asked Relia
" They are convinced we are attacking the Olympians" Gaea told us
Seriously the Tians see revenge against the Olympians in everything. I mean wow. Just wow.
"So, no threat there."
"I think we should also get someone inside the demigods. They are the ones doing the gods dirty work after all"
"I don't know any demigods from this time" Relia was a couple centuries old. She like me got stuck in Tartarus because of the gods. And somehow got immortality too.
"There's Nico. I trust him and he's a son of Hades"
"Ok so Nico it is" Declared Hemera
"I call for a count .Who is for the awakening?" Asked Chronos
Aether , Nyx, Tartarus, Hemera, and Ananke raise their hand.
"Who is against?"
Chronos, Erebus, Pontus, Eros, Ouranos and Gaea raise their hands.
"Who is Neutral?"
Me and Relia raise our hands.
"This is a serious war. You must choose sides soon" Ananke said, "There cannot be a neutral side of this war."
"We will soon, but not now" Relia assured them.
I was conflicted. Very conflicted. I know I'll have to come to conclusion soon, I can see Relia is conflicted as well. But when time comes, I have a feeling we will know.
" I think you and Percy should go talk to Ares and Nico" Gaea said
"Why?" I groaned.
"Because you are from this time and so that Relia can stop you from killing the god"
I sighed. We decided to go to Ares first then Nico. Yay
We appeared on a balcony on Olympus. Ares turned and said "Jackson"
"What's your last name?" I mused "Zeus?"
"We're here to ask for your help" Relia told Ares Ignoring me. Rude much.
"My help" Said Ares sounding surprised "For what?"
"Do you know what this war is about?" I asked him.
"Well. No"
"Can you take us somewhere we won't be overheard?"
For a moment he Looked suspicious and then Flashed us to some deserted cliff. It was wild and the floor seemed unstable, but the place looked beautiful in the Moonlight. Flashing is awful. It like all your cells are being forcefully taken apart and then pieced together like some puzzle piece.
"Ok Flashing is horrible. I prefer shadow travel"
"What help are you talking about." Ares demanded. Straight to the point.
"Well, Chaos is waking up" Relia deadpanned.
"Chaos? Like creator of the universe Chaos?"
"yes. He and his younger brother had a huge war before the reign of the titans. The primordials chose sides and they went into battle. Many were lost, and some primordials even faded. After successfully defeating his brother, Chaos was exhausted and went to take a nap. Now he is finally getting up. Only Primordial council know about this. Well, the Primordial council, Relia, me and you." I said
" Some nap. I usually nap for around 3 hours. He napped for 3 Millenia." Relia muttered
" So why is chaos waking up causing a war?" Asked Ares
" Well, the council is conflicted on what to do. Some say we should wake him up. Others wish to put him back to sleep. At the end they declared war. The winning side will decide what to do." Relia answered
"So how do I fit in this?"
"We need you to monitor the Olympians so that they don't do anything stupid." I told him
"Ok I'll do it."
"Just like that?" Asked Relia
"Just like that. It'll be fun to watch the others try and fail to know about this war. And father's paranoia. And know something Athena doesn't. Besides, it sounds fun"
"Ok. Swear upon Tartarus to not divulge anything about this meeting, do your job to monitor the Olympians and not try and take advantage of this war" I said
"Upon Tartarus?" Questioned Ares
"If you break it, you'll find yourself in Tartarus"
"Ok. I Swear upon Tartarus to not divulge anything about this meeting, do my job to monitor the Olympians and not try and take advantage of this war"
" Great. We'll be going now."
" Wait. So, I know you're Jackson. But what's your name" Gesturing at Relia.
"Relia Alimari- Daughter of Hades"
We shadow travelled to Camp Half-Blood.
"This place has changed" She commented
"It has"
"You shouldn't have taken that long to explain it Ares Seafood"
"Was not my fault Emo"
"Don't call me that"
"Don't call me Seafood"
"Fine Fish-head"
"Creep"
"Merman"
"Skull girl"
"Coral skull"
"Oh, look Nico's cabin" I said
I went and knocked.
We repeated the same conversation we had with Ares told him to keep an eye on the Demigods and had a sappy Reunion before returning to the Mansion of Night.
