Here you go, the fourth chapter. I don't know if it's shorter than the others but the fifth one is a page or two longer. I hope you enjoy this chapter and will continue to read this story!
Chapter 4
{Day#2}
"Watch out!" I shouted to Noah as I shot the zombie that krept behind him.
He stared at the body now laying on the ground."Yeah, thanks Berry." He said when he finally got over the fact that he could have died just then.
"No problem. Watch yourself though, I might not be there next time." I responded. He nodded his head understandingly.
"God it's so hot for it being night." Blaine stated while fanning himself. We were only at the third house.
Sam and Mike were on the right side of the slowly moving SUV, Blaine and Santana were on the left, Noah and I were at the back of the car and I was pushing Artie.

"My feet hurt," Sam whined.
"Suck it up Buttercup because we still got a couple more houses left." I say as I take out yet another Walker with my 9MMs.
"So tell me, when did you get all these weapons babe?"
"Well Noah, I've had them for almost my whole life. So as you could imagine my family has been prepared for quite some time now. And I would appreciate it if you didn't call me 'babe'." I stated.
"How lo-"
"We're here!" Santana shouted for everyone to hear interrupting Noah. We were at Brittany's house, it was a two story house, not too large, with nice tan walls and a chimney. There was a car in the driveway but the door was open. Santana helped Brittany out of the car so she could get her stuff.
"Remember to only pack things you need, like clothes, and food so one suitcase for your clothes should do it, and a garbage bag for the food please." I told Britt and Santana before they both walked in the house with their weapons at hand.
Rule #7: Travel Light
"It's so hot."
When Brittany and Santana came out of her house, Britt was holding a massive cat that probably had Diabetes, Santana was dragging two black garbage bags and a suit case that looked like it was going to explode.
Great. A cat.
"Anyone?"
"Nope." Santana said, shaking her head.

At Rachel's house…
"We're going to stay here tonight and in the morning we'll be going to my bunker. Is everyone alright with that? Because if you are not, then that's too bad. You can leave now if you like." I told everyone after I was done cleaning up my fathers corpse before they walked in. Nobody's parents made it. They were either turned or didn't make an appearance at their houses.
"Wait, you never said anything about going somewhere else." Artie said.
"And you'd wanna stay here?" I questioned. Seriously this place is crawling with Walkers, even I wouldn't want to stay.
He shook his head.
"Thought so. It's just about 6 hours outside of Lima, is that a problem for anyone?"
"Hang on girl, you better have more than one car because there's no freaking way I'm going back in there with Finn's whiney ass for that long."
"Hey!"
"Well actually yesterday I saw a minibus in 'Hummel Tires & Lube' that I think would be great. We will have two people in the SUV with all the weapons, and the rest of us will be in the minibus." There were many nods of approval. "Ok, Tina, Mike, and Sam, you get my Dad's room on the right. Blain, Kurt, Mercedes and Noah will have my room across from my Dad's, Finn, Artie, Sue and can have my Daddy's office just right there," I pointed to where his office was, "There are couches you can share, and finally Santana, Brittany, Quinn and I will sleep in the living room. I will be on watch duty for the first 3 hours and then I'll switch with someone else. Goodnight everyone." I said to the tired group and watched as they wandered to their rooms they were assigned.

A couple hours later…
'Crash!'
I jumped out of my seat, looked around for a bit then rushed to the window to see what was going on. Shit. A zombie was standing over a trash can, it must have knocked it over, there were now multiple zombies that scattered the front yard because of the loud noise. I made eye contact with one of them. It moaned loudly before it came barreling at me but the glass stopped it from doing anything further. Shit, Shit, Shit. I thought as the zombie started to bang on the glass real hard, that was attacking more of them to the window.
'Trinkle.' It cracked.
"Rachel," came a husky voice "what's going on?" I turned to look at Quinn who was wide awake. I ignored her then looked back out the window, I was faced face-to-face with nothing but zombies who looked really hungry.
"We need to leave right now!" I shouted to Quinn. She looked at the window with wide eyes. I could see the fear on her face. I got away from the glass and pulled Quinn's arm to tell her to also get away. I ran up the stairs as fast as I could without tripping to wake them up while Quinn woke up the others that were down stairs.
"Rise and shine everyone, we're leaving so get your stuff and head out the back door!" I yelled in the hallway. Both doors were open so I know they must have heard me.
"Do we really have to right now? It's only," the mohawke boy paused to look at the clock on my nightstand. "... three in morning." he tiredly grumbled.
"Yes Puckerman, we do. Because those zombies banging on the window down stairs right now are gonna break that glass and eat you alive! And do you really want that?" After that was said Noah and the rest of them jumped out of bed. There were some of them cursing and struggling to get their clothes back on. I ran back down the stairs to collect the stuff I needed.
Once everyone was ready and waiting at the back door I opened it and slowly crept out of the house on high alert.
Rule #27: Incoming!
I readjusted my CDR-15 and led the group to the side of the house. When I got a good look at the zombies I aimed, fired and killed as many as I could-wich was only like 4. The ones that still remained alive- or dead? Whatever. The ones that still remained alive/dead were now sprinting our way.
"Go, Go, Go!" I demanded the bunch while I slowly backed up to the car and shot at the Walkers. When I heard doors shut and the engine start I stopped shooting and darted to the vehicle that was now moving. This would be so much more exciting if I were less tired.
"Wait! Slow down!" I heard Kurt yell to the driver, but the car didn't slow down, if anything it went faster. Well good thing I'm a fast runner then. Zombies were still chasing me but I could outrun them for days. I saw Sam and Puck on top of the SUV with their hands out ready to pull me up. I tried to hand Sam my gun first but I was too far away. I tried to speed up until I was close enough to hopp on the car myself.
"Here, take my gun!" I told Sam and reached up again, he took the gun into his own hands this time and began to shoot at the zombies that were still behind me. Oh the pride I feel. I grabbed a strong hold of Noah's outstretched hand and he started slowly to pull me up with all his strength. I made it on top of the car before any of the walkers could get to me.
"You know you're pretty fast Jew Babe." Noah committed. I shrugged. I've had years of training plus I've been on the track team for years so to me it was no big deal. Whoever the driver is was now trying to lose the zombies by turning to different streets but every time we thought we lost them they just kept coming back.
"Can I see that Sam?" he nodded his head and handed me the gun. I aimed for the heads and began to shoot. One by one they all went down, the car then slowed until it came to a stop.
"Is everyone alright?" I asked when I hopped off the car. I knocked on the window two times. There was muffled noise first then the back door of the car opened. Out came 8 horrified looking teenagers.
"No! We just about got killed! And I was almost squished to death in there too. So I almost got killed twice!" Kurt answered with a red face trying to catch his breath.
"Rach are you ok?" I blushed at the nickname, "You didn't get scratched did you?" Quinn asked. She looked concerned at me as she searched for scratches by trying to quickly take my jacket off. But before she could I stopped her by placing my hands on hers.
"Quinn, I'm alright. I didn't get scratched. Ok?" I informed her still blushing. We were a little too close then enemies should be.
*Coughe* "Gay," *Coughe* Came from Santana when she got out of the front seat and saw us. Quinn and I froze then glanced at each other and flushed when we realized everyone was staring at us. My face was so red I was pretty sure you could see the redness in the dark. Like now. I dropped my hands and stepped back before Quinn said another thing or It got too suspicious.
"Don't stop on my account."
"Shut it Puckerman!"
I cleared my throat to get everyone's attention, not like I didn't have it already. "Did, umm, is everyone here?" I questioned trying to change the subject. Santana smirked at me.
"Yes, everyone's here." confirmed when everyone was finally out. Besides Artie who was stuck in the SUV.
"Alright then everyone get back in the car, we're close to 'Hummel Tires & Lube' so we might as well head to the bunker now." God, this could have all been avoided if I didn't bring them along.
"Santana do you mind going on top of the car with us," I motioned with my hand at Sam, Noah, and I. "to save some room? You too Sue?"
Santana shrugged, "Why not." They both climbed on top of the car with eachothers help and waited for us. Once I assured everyone was ready, and Brittany told us to be safe, I climbed back on the roof of the SUV and pointed my gun out in front of the vehicle just in case any zombies decided to surprise us.
A couple minutes later we arrived at Burts shop-with only running into 4 zombies. The place looked very… dark and scary, you know the usually Zombie Apocalypse type look. The lights were flickering and with it you could see handprints of blood on the wall.
I jumped off the car and gave Noah and Santana a look to say 'Follow me.' I gripped my gun tightly and leisurely walked into the shop, there was the minibus on one of those mobile column lifts. Lets just hope any zombies won't pop ou-
"Grrrr." Spoke too soon. Just a couple feet away was a zombie wearing a blue polo with a name tag that said 'Burt'. Kurts not gonna talk this well. He snapped his teeth and before he could come at me I shot at him once. He went down instantly. That was kind of boring, I wanted more action.
"Noah, you take care of him, and clean up the mess after." I said when I heard a low moan come from zombie Burt. He stepped in front of me, brought the bat with nails sticking out of it down a few times.
"Eww! It splattered on me!"
I walked back out of the shop to the car and opened the window hatch.
"We're all clear so you can get out now." I told the people who were waiting and began to take out the duffel bags and what not from the back.
"Finally! It's like a sauna in here!"
"You're not gonna die Kurt."
I brought the suitcases in the shop and dropped them on the ground. "Hey! I have some expensive designers there."
"You should only have clothes, so it doesn't matter how hard I throw it, nothing will break." Kurt grumbled something under his breath and continued to fan himself. I went back out to the car to get more of the stuff and soon I had all the suitcases, bags full of food, and weapons in the shop. Noah and Finn were the ones who tried to bring down the minibus from the lift. They couldn't have chosen someone else to do it?
"I think you press that one." Finn pointed to a small switch.
"That's the first one I tried!"
"Ok. How about this one?" He pointed to a big button this time.
"Dude didn't you work here or something?" Finn looked away ashamed.
Kurt, who was half listening, shoved the two boys and pressed three buttons and flipped a switch. The minibus slowly lowered to a stop. "That's how it's done boys. Now where are the keys?" Kurt question to himself then went to search for them in one of the drawers. "Ahha. Here it is." He dangled the black rectangle keys and opened the doors to the minibus.
Noah was about to get on the minibus when Finn stopped him by placing his hand on his chest. Noah furrowed his brows at him. "Dude. He's a Genie." Finn stated in awe.
"Don't be an idiot." Noah shook his head and continued his walk to the bus.
"Oh my God!" What now? I sprinted to the room in the back with my gun in place. Kurt was standing with Mercedes trying to hold back tears. On the floor was Burt-or what I think is Burt, it's hard to tell with the head barely being there.
"I'm sorry for your loss Kurt, but we have to get going." he slowly walked out of the room with Mercedes hot on his tail.
I hopped in the SUV and started the car to drive it to the side of the shop so it wouldn't be in the minisbuse's way for when we leave. When I got out Finn was trying to shove all the suitcases in the side trunk with his whole body.
"Hey! Who let this dumbass take care of the luggage?" Finn looked at me with wide eyes and backed away from the minibus like it was on fire. All of the stuff fell on the ground with a 'Thump' "Get out of here." I hissed to him, he ran off to god knows where else. I picked up the suite cases one by one and stacked them neatly in the trunk so it doesn't all fall out later.
"Whoa this is awesome!" I heard Mike eclaim from inside the minibus. I closed the trunk door and marched up the stairs. The place was vancy. The seats were big, black and white leather and some of them had black tables in front of the seats, with hardwood floors. There were lead lights on the ceiling, and a large TV that had a PS5 sitting next to it in the back of the bus. The windows were huge, there was another one in the ceiling in the middle too.
Paradise.
