Her colleagues were lying around , badly injured.

Their entire battlegroup was obliterated.

Siren warships never stood a chance against the newcomers .

They posses ships that could launch their projectiles with extreme precision and at astonishing speed.

Their AA never had a chance to intercept them.

Their planes shot down their planes like flies.

Hiryuu managed to get her colleagues outta here , somehow .

Her sister , Soryuu was nowhere to be found.

Possibly, she was killed by those newcomers.

She got to tell her Senpai…

Before they find her..

Somewhere outside HQ

Enterprise was heading to help her sister Hornet in battle but out of nowhere a bomb dropped in front of her.Halting at full pace , she managed to find the one who dropped it.

" Going somewhere…." came playful voice of Viraat , standing in front of her , battle ready.

" Get out of my way…" She tried to move her out of her way but stopped by her.

" You are going nowhere…" Enterprise stared at her , glaring daggers at her " Looking at your condition , you be more of liability than help "

" I can still fight " Enterprise tried to be stern but her rigging rattled showing fatigue.

" See...that's what I am telling ." She stared at her with confidence " Stop being so much reckless and return back to base…"

" And if I not…"

" I like to see you try….Grey ghost "

Both glared at each other. With Enterprise readied her bow and Viraat with her talwar , it's time to fight.

Enterprise shot her bow at her , which in turned into squadron of F4F Hellcats fighter which immediately began to open fire on Viraat. Her AA sprang in action , twin AK 230 buzzed out the fighters into oblivion , while she sprang back in action , towards Enterprise.

Enterprise immediately launched another wing of SBD bombers , hoping to surprise her out and knock her out in single volley . Unfortunately for Enterprise , her adversary had better sensors and better armaments than her. Her Barak SAM VLS swatted Dauntless like flies as she charged towards grey ghost like an unstoppable force.With no other option , She charged towards her , two carriers taking on each other.

' CLANG….'

Talwar collided with already damaged bow , which broke into half , shocking her.Viraat span a spinning kick at her stomach, causing Big E to fell back into water.Defeated and tired , she gasped for air.

" The most decorated carrier of Eagle union " She stared at her fallen form " Some hotshot you are "

" I...still..can…fight.." She tried to stand up , only to collapse again.

" Look at little Yorktown junior... gonna cry."

She tried getting up but fell again. Viraat felt pity on her. She hate when someone acts rash and out of regulations , someone like Enterprise

' Commander is going to have field day with me ' She thought as she carried her on her shoulder , heading back to her base.

Final countdown went bloody ugly.

Several WW2 era warships were wrecked by Indian Navy. Some weirdly looking ones , which disappeared from view after destruction.

Some escaped injured , most were dealt with.

Migs and Modern AA batteries took care of subsonic propeller based fighters.

Cruise missiles took out bulk of fleet with minimal/ zero resistance. They never stood a chance.

" Captain , this is Romeo - 1 ... we spotted someone aboard the wreak. A teenage japanese girl with …. bunny ears... she seem unconscious...take a look sir... "
