A/N: So... this character is more of a filler chapter, but it establishes some important stuff for later.

The next day, the nine girls are at the principal's office. Finally, after three days, the team is finally assembled. But, the principal was still… well…

"Look, Takino-san," the principal said, "I underestimated your efforts to form an all-girls baseball team. But, you still don't have a teacher supervisor."

"Mr. Principal-san!" Tomo shouted, "We're in the process of finding one! And speaking about teachers, well got some Classical Literature classes to do!"

And with that, the girls all leave the principal's office and the principal sighed to himself.

In the classroom, a male teacher with fogged-up glasses is writing stuff on the chalkboard.

"Class," he announced, "Today we are going to read Botchan for this semester. So, open your books to-"

"Mr. Kimura!" Tomo raised her hand, "I have a question for you!"

"What is it, Takino-san?"

"Why did you become a high school teacher in the first place?"

All of the female students shiver in fear as Mr. Kimura started to shudder and shake before he dropped his jaw and declared: "CAUSE I LIKE HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS, THAT'S WHY!"

And with that, the class ended and it's lunchtime.

"God, Kimura-sensei is such a perv!" Kagura said.

"He said that so bluntly, without any shame," Yomi added.

"The police should arrest him," Ayumu added.

"Yep, he's not going to be our club supervisor!" Tomo added, " I guess Yukari-sensei is our only last hope!"

During English class, Tomo raised her hand again.

"What do you want, Tomo?!" Yukari asked, "Cause I'm busy teaching a class here!"

"Well, can you be the baseball team's supervisor?"

Yukari looked at Tomo's eyes. Sure, it was coming from her laziest, least-preforming student, but she saw the fire in the wildcat's eyes, reminding the teacher of her youth in high school.

"Alright, Takino-san," Yukari sighed, "I'll be team supervisor."

Tomo's eyes widen, and the wildcat idiot jumped up and down, which made Yukari smile a little.

After school, the 9 girls were hanging out in the Takinos' restaurant, eating some food.

"So Tomo," Kagura said, chowing down on a hamburger steak, " What should do now?"

Tomo then paused for a moment before she answers: " We're practicing tomorrow!"

"Seriously, you're playing baseball with friends, huh, Tomo?"

Tomo looked behind her to see that her older brother, Daisuke, was there.

"Onii-chan!" Tomo shouted, "What are you doing here?!"

"Trying to bring you back to reality, nee-chan," Daisuke answered.

"Oh really? Well, the Taisho period has just begun! And I'm the forerunner of the liberal stuff!"

"But did you serve in the Siege of Tsingtao back during the war?"

"Well, the only thing you're be serving is some cholent and pudding a la mode!"

And with that, Daisuke left, and Tomo huffed to herself.

"Sorry if you guys have to see that," Tomo apologized, "My older brother and I have a very rocky relationship. I mean, both of us are liberals, but he mostly tries to play it safe."

"Tomo-chan," Ayumu raised her hand, "How many siblings do ya have?"

"Okay, four!" Tomo answered, "One younger brother, a twin sister, an older brother, and an older sister who's already married to a well-off husband. Yep, she was doomed into an arranged marriage, but she's okay with that."

All of the girls shivered, as all of them are susceptible to an arranged marriage, even little Chiyo-chan can't escape this fate, for all girls in Japan know that once they got into an arranged marriage, they'll have to say goodbye to their dreams and ambitions.

The next day, the school day was about to end, and it was time for the bowing ritual. And this week's unfortunate soul is Chiyo.

"Rise!" Chiyo shouted, and the students followed. "Attention! Bow!"

The students bowed, and then they left the classroom, except for 9 girls and Yukari.

"Alright girls," Yukari said, "Let's go to the field!"

At the field, the girls were given oven mitts for a stand-in for baseball mitts, and then, the practicing begins.

"Okay, we'll be practicing some batting and catching!" Yukari shouted, "But first, let's split into two teams! Sakaki, Yomi, Kagura, Tomo, you're part of Team Yukari! The rest of you are now-"

"Team Sea Slug," Ayumu said happily.

"What?!" Chiyo said

"But sea slugs are so…" Kaorin objected.

"Team Sea Slug," Ayumu repeated, which made Chiyo and Kaorin sigh.

"Welp, let the batting and catching begin!" Yukari yelled.

Yukari then launched pieces of fruit into the air, and the four girls on her team started to bat the fruit towards the other team. Kaorin, Chihiro, and Kotori all screamed in horror; Ayumu is just standing there; and Chiyo is trying her best to catch the pieces of fruit in her mitt, but instead, she gets bonked on the head. Sakaki looked at Chiyo, seeing the little girl suffering.

"Why I'm doing this to Chiyo-chan," Sakaki thought to herself, "I feel pity for her."

While the chaos was happening, Kurosawa walked in, and her pupils dilated at a sight.

"What the heck is going on here?!" The PE teacher shouted.

"Nyamo, we're practicing baseball!" Yukari answered back.

"Nyamo?!" The girls said together, as they were all confused by Yukari informally calling their beloved PE teacher.

"Oh, that's the nickname I gave to Nyamo when we were students at this school!" Yukari explained.

"Hey, it's just like me calling Yomi by her nickname!" Tomo added, "In fact, she and I are best friends since elementary school!"

"I hate to admit it, " Yomi said, "But it's true. And believe me, we had a lot of humiliating stories that took place back in elementary school."

"Say Yukari-chan! Nyamo-chan!" Tomo said.

"Yukari-chan?!" Yukari thought.

"Nyamo-chan?" Nyamo thought.

"Do you two have humiliating stories like Yomi and me?!" Tomo asked.

"Oh, we don't really have any-" Nyamo said before Yukari interrupted her with the most obnoxious song known to mankind:

"LOVE LETTER! LOVE LETTER! LALALA-LOVE LETTER! LOVE LETTER, LOVE LETTER, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE LETTER! LOVE LETTER! LOVE LETTER!"

The girls were totally confused about that...silliness. Seriously, where's the context behind this?!

"Geez, first Kaorin's crush on Sakaki, and now this!," Tomo shouted, "What other Class S shenanigans will happen here?!"

"Tomo," Yomi groaned, "Do not go there."

"Getting to the point," Nyamo continued, "All of you girls need some proper baseball training instead of… whatever you girls were doing. And I got some actual baseball gear for all of you."

Nyamo then dropped a pile of baseball balls, bats, and mitts. The girls were amazed at the high-quality equipment.

"Okay girls, let's practice some pitching, batting, and catching," Nyamo explained, "Sakaki, get the bat and go to the batting plate. Kagura, get a mitt and ball and go to the pitcher's mound. Chiyo, get a mitt and go out to the field."

The three girls did what Nyamo told them to do, and they were in position on the "diamond".

"Okay Kagura," Nyamo said, "You got to pitch your throw really hard. You got to concentrate on the strength of your throw."

"Got it, Coach!" Kagura said back.

"Sakaki, you have to focused on the ball. You have to follow its path so you can land a good one."

Sakaki nodded at Nyamo. Then Kagura threw the ball with such power and Sakaki hits the ball with such grace.

"We got a right fly ball!" Kagura shouted.

"All right, all right!" Chiyo said as she was positioning to catch the ball.

Kagura watched as Chiyo scrambled into position and the ball falling to the ground. But, as if everything was going to be alright, the ball was nearing Chiyo-chan, and…

*BOINK*

Kagura was shocked as Chiyo fell to the ground.

"CHIYO-CHAN!" the tomboy shouted, "CHIYO-CHAN, ARE YOU OKAY?! Chiyo-chan, CHIYO-CHAN!"

"Oh boy, this is going to be an uphill battle," Nyamo sighed.

So... the next chapter is focused on the finalization of the team, including the return of the little brown cat from Chapter 2.
