Miko and Monk
Chapter 4
Kagome switched on the light in the bathroom and motioned for Miroku to come in. Kagome went to the closet and grabbed a couple towels.
"This is a bathroom. Over here is a sink and when you turn the knob, water will run. Here is the shower. You turn those knobs and water falls from up here."
"Just like a waterfall." Miroku turned the knobs off and on.
"Exactly. This one is cold and this one is hot. There are soaps and shampoos over there. If you want, you can soak for a bit in the tub after your shower. The water is already in there and it's warm. You think you can handle it?" Kagome walked to the door.
"I don't think it could be that hard but if I need a beautiful miko to assist with washing my back, I shall call upon you." Miroku gave his devilish grin. (Whap! Towels hit Miroku in the face.)
"Pervy Monk!" door slammed!
Kagome went to her room to take out her change of clothes and she noticed her reflection in the mirror. With a horrified look, her hair was haphazardly wild, face has dirt smudges, her uniform dirty, torn and bloody and the cut on her arm visibly noticeable. 'Why didn't Miroku tell me I look wild!'
(Knock on door and opens) "Kagome, here are some of your papa clothes. Give them to Miroku when he finishes showers. I am going to start on dinner. Grandpa and Souta should be back soon from the soccer game. Don't worry dear. I'm sure you will remember what happened. Don't push yourself. Until then we will help Miroku get accustomed to this life. We don't know if he will be able to go back to his time" as her mama made her way to the door. "I'll make your favorite, Oyakodon (*Japanese chicken rice bowl)."
(Loud piercing screams from the bathroom) "KA-GO-ME! Help me!"
Kagome runs in the bathroom without thinking.
"What happened!?"
"The water! It's burning me!" Miroku crouched down in the corner of the shower.
"Is that all! Didn't you pay attention! Here you adjust the water between the cold and hot to find a balance. Don't forget to soap up. You push down on the nozzle and soap comes out. Same thing for the shampoo. Got it?" Kagome turned to a completely nude man showing all his manly parts standing behind her. Kagome's face turns red and runs out the door.
"I think I got it. Thank you." Miroku snickered.
Kagome returned to the bathroom with her papa clothes in hand. "I'm putting the clothes here. Make sure you are dressed. Completely. Covered. Before you come out of the bathroom." as she closed the door. 'Oh my god! That is the first time I've seen a grown man parts!'
