It had been several hours-no, days now. Blood Ravens in particular do not require sleep, but the Nameless found himself insanely bored. Just where could these trucks be going, anyways?

The Nameless was carefully crawling after the trucks, eyes flickering around. He had been in this damn forest for some time now, and the sooner he was out of this vegetated hellhole the better. Typhon was at the front of the Commander's mind. So at the front of his mind, in fact, that it took him several seconds longer to note that he was finally out of that forest. And what lied ahead...

...sand. Wooden and clay buildings, clearly for farming purposes, decorated the sandy landscape.

Ah. Just like home. The Commander let out a snort and a very low chuckle as he scanned the Agricultural District. He might as well have just been teleported to another location on Calderis. The only thing that opposed that thought were the strange creatures from earlier. He remembered all the strikes in Calderis he had lead against various foes, the most prominent of which was an Ork Warboss. As the trucks finished rolling ahead and finally stopping, the Commander's guess was confirmed. Just farming supplies. Nothing special. Now, was there anything else... the Commander whispered a command to his helmet, and a faint mechanical hum was the response as it zoomed in further past what he saw.

Okay, so not exactly like home. Or kind of like home. The Commander knew of industrial machines on Calderis, but they tended to be rather far between. Here he saw streets and machinery packed right next to each other that wouldn't be out of place on Meridian.
"A hive city mixed with a feudal world. Now I've seen it all." With that comment out of the way, the Nameless took a knee as he studied this Agricultural District. Seemed pretty bog standard for land dedicated to farmers. Crops, mills, the sun bearing down on everyone with the fury of the Emperor, it all checked out. Granted, vid-casters weren't terribly common back on Calderis, so that was a change here. Still, the Nameless felt right at home watching the district go about its daily routine. As the Space Marine observed, his helmet tuned in on something. One of the truck drivers.

"...and I tell you! This THING just bursts from the brush and starts breaking Grimm left, right, and center! A friggin' Ursa hit him and he barely budged! It just grabbed it by the shoulder and put a fist clean through the Ursa's skull! Then he goes around and pulls out some huge-ass Thunder Hammer and sends everything around him flying!"

An animated discussion, no doubt. And it confirmed what the Commander had suspected. Judging how he'd been referred to as a thing of awe rather than a Space Marine, this planet was not connected to the Imperium. And these things he fought earlier appeared to be called Grimm. Figuring it could be useful for further intelligence, the Marine opted to stay tuned in.

"...I believe you."
"Now, man, you don't have to be sarcastic-"

"No, I'm being dead serious with you. The figure you described matches what that village reported a while ago. They got attacked by Grimm, then a red blur just charged right in. Wasn't that Ruby Rose either. Some hulking red metal behemoth. Wasn't exactly graceful but was extremely effective. Even had the hammer you described."
"...huh."

End of the conversation. The Nameless had sorted out several things. First off was that he was locally famous to some extent. That much was confirmed. Second off was that apparently someone else was famous around here. Ruby Rose wasn't a name you'd expect to hear from the Aurelian sub-sector. She must be a legendary warrior around here. What he thought, anyways. In any case, the Nameless took a knee and planned his next move. He sought information. The more information he found, the better. And judging from the farmers' reaction, he wouldn't be treated in a hostile manner. On the other hand, he REALLY didn't want to make himself known all that much. After several minutes, the marine made his decision. He'd find something to cloak himself with. Then he'd make his way through.

For right now, though, the Nameless would stay put.
