"Late to emerge from recharge again?" Soundwave commented, as Ravage greeted the tired looking assassin.
"Mhmm..." Mirage sighed plopping himself on the couch, to which Ravage happily jumped up on him.
"You want some energon?" Arcee asked from where she stood in the scullery.
"Are you still dealing with that energon?" Mirage retorted, pushing Ravage off of him.
"Mirage?" Arcee groaned, just wanting a simple answer.
"Sure whatever, just don't give me Soundwave's." Mirage replied shifting into a sitting position as Soundwave sat next to him.
"Wait, what am I missing here?" Soundwave asked confused at what was happening.
"The only thing you're missing is how big of a pain in the aft Mirage is." Arcee sarcastically replied, heating up her sparkmate's off coloured energon.
"That's pretty hard to miss." Soundwave snorted to which his brother playfully elbowed him.
"Not that I'm complaining, but I am just surprised you two are both here still." Mirage said to the couple.
"We were out well before you, and Bumblebee were awake. We're trying to take it easy today." Arcee replied to the youngling that joined her in the scullery.
"With your new recruits, I figured you'd be running boot camp." The young assassin said, grabbing some energon after the femme exited the scullery with the energon she prepped.
"I talked to Ironhide, he is running it with a few of his friends, and Jazz. They'll be fine for a solar cycle." Arcee sat next to Soundwave, handing him the warm energon.
"Why is this warm, and purply?" Soundwave asked examining the energon he was given.
"Purply? That's cute Soundwave." Arcee chuckled sipping her energon.
"You put that serum in my energon, didn't you?" Soundwave sighed after doing a scan to confirm his theory.
"Yes, Ratchet said if you don't maintain your voice box, you'll lose it completely, if you have another attack." Arcee tried to coax her sparkmate into drinking his energon.
"I'm trying my best, Arcee. It's been difficult to keep track of Cybertron's maintenance, keeping the peace between Autobots, and denounced Decepticons that have revoked their Decepticon title. I don't have time to care about myself."
Arcee lifted the servo her mech held his energon in, raising it to his face. "Make the time Soundwave, you need to take care of yourself, in order to care for others around you."
Mirage nodded in agreement with the cobalt blue femme, sipping his own energon, while setting down an energon cube on the floor for Ravage. "Listen to your sparkmate."
Soundwave sighed deeply, taking a sip of his heated energon to satisfy his sparkmate.
"Thank you." Arcee smiled at her reluctant mech.
"So what do you have planned today?" Mirage asked, leaning on the counter that faced the front room.
"So far, seek out and tag, in the playing field." Arcee answered.
Mirage chuckled at Arcee's response. "Sounds entertaining."
"Yep, and you're expected to join us, this afternoon." Soundwave added.
"Alright, sure, I look forward to a little friendly competition." Mirage shrugged, finishing his energon. "But for now, I have a Decepticon spy to hunt down."
"You're going after Flamewar?" Soundwave asked.
"You finally figured out who it was in your list of Cons?" The youngling thought aloud as he made his way to the front door.
"Well, I talked to..." Soundwave went to follow his brother, but was pulled back onto the couch by his sparkmate.
"Finish your energon!" Arcee handed Soundwave his energon again. "And yes, we found out this morning from Megatron. How do you know who she is?" Arcee turned back to the red youngling who snickered at his pouting brother.
"I found out from a couple Decepticons, who were nosey when I brought up that there was a crazed Decepticon femme on Cybertron." Mirage replied, leaning against the closed door.
"Megatron wasn't afraid to warn us that Flamewar's incredibly dangerous, apparently she has know Soundwave in the past. And is not afraid to take down anyone who stands in her way, including her own colleagues." Arcee told the young assassin who seemed to be intrigued by that information.
Mirage was silently thinking to himself which he knew his brother would easily hear his thoughts, so he voiced them instead. "I think I will do some data collecting today then. Hang around the clinic to hear more rumours, and the enforcement station to hear the chatter between the Cons and the new recruits."
Soundwave quickly finished his energon with a nod. "That's a safer, and smart decision."
"I figured you'd like that idea." Mirage opened the door with a smirk. [You data collecting addict.]
"Funny, it's not just because I like to collect data. It's also because you'll be safer." Soundwave followed his brother out of the house, with Ravage and Arcee in tow.
"Uhuh, well enjoy your date, or whatever. I will meet you later for that game." Mirage transformed driving off into the city.
Soundwave sighed, turning to his sparkmate. "Should we get the twins over and done with?"
"Or, we can just send out a message to everyone, and go do whatever we want." Arcee suggested not very interested in getting trapped in an Oil House, talking with the twins, early in the morning.
"Sure, I really haven't had time to explore around, since they've began rebuilding new structures everywhere on Cybertron." Soundwave shrugged, spinning around to face his femme, tripping over Ravage in the process.
Arcee quickly caught her mech as he stumbled over his minicon, laughing at the Cyber Feline that scooted behind her. "Since you want to work while relaxing, Ironhide mention that they were constructing another enforcement station on the border of Tarn, so why don't we head that way." She suggested.
"We're going to work on you being less of a tripping hazard." Soundwave stood up straight, giving his minicon a smirk.
"Should I lead the way then?" Arcee transformed waiting for her distracted mech to follow.
"Sorry, yes, lead the way." Soundwave had Ravage return to him, before he transformed following above the cobalt motorcycle.
Soundwave had followed his sparkmate for quite a while, eventually leaving the busiest part of Iacon, arriving at the beginning of Tarn region. Coming across a destroyed power plant. The ground around it was devastated, non existent in some areas.
The violet mech transformed suddenly, landing in front of the motorcycle.
Arcee screeched to a halt, transforming to slow herself down before she could collide into her mech. "Soundwave what the hell? We're not even there yet." Arcee hissed, wondering why her mech continued to walk into the destroyed region, instead of continuing to follow her on the border of Iacon and Tarn. "Soundwave, why are we in Tarn?"
Soundwave knelt down, running his slender digits through the soot, and shrapnel laying on the ground. Materializing his visor, he scanned the area, reading high levels of radiation.
"Why are we in Tarn?" The violet youngling asked the black and red femme he followed. "Shockwave said our objective was in Iacon."
The femme groaned with an optic roll, fed up with being the youngling's battlefield guide. "We're taking a short cut." The femme lied, leading the youngling towards an active nuclear power plant.
"But Iacon is right there, this isn't a logical route to hit the Autobots?" Soundwave replied confused.
"The Autobots won't expect us then, will they?" Flamewar secretly smirked as she continued to lie.
"But Flamewar, this isn't what we were assigned..." the glowing violet youngling jogged up to the femme.
Flamewar spun around grabbing the youngling by the collar. "Just do as I say, and keep your bright little optics open for enemies." She hissed releasing Soundwave, before walking into the power plant. "Stay here."
Soundwave blinked his blue and red mixed coloured optics nervously, as he stood outside the nuclear power plant, waiting for his next order from the femme.
Once inside the nuclear plant, the Flamewar began to plant bombs. She intended to hurt the rising spymaster that was the violet youngling. Ever since Soundwave graduated from his training, she had been demoted from her warpath, and forced to sparkling sit the Decepticons newest asset in the battlefield. "I'm going to be the one to bring the Decepticons to glory. I can't do that while sparkling sitting your science projects Shockwave..." she set her bombs to detonate from a 30 second timer, activating them as she hailed for a ground bridge. "Shockwave I need a bridge to Iacon, I got separated from Soundwave." The femme gave a believable lie.
"Soundwave ,come quick, I'm being ambushed!" Flamewar's panicked voice, called over gunfire, through the youngling's comlink.
Soundwave quickly rushed in to where he heard gun fire, his weapons drawn, the youngling scanned the area for any signs of an ambush. "Flamewar where are you?" He called out, confused as to why the gunfire stopped as soon as he entered the building.
Flamewar smirked when a ground bridge appeared behind her, taking a step forward revealing her position on the upper catwalk. "I'm going to be on the top of the Autobots list of most feared Decepticons. And you, you're going to suffer a painful death." The femme was speaking hopefully, but knew Shockwave's engineering was more resilient than to be so easily destroyed by a nuclear bomb. But she had high hopes that the explosion would cause major mutilation to the youngling. "Or maybe not, and I will exact the rest of my revenge another day perhaps."
Soundwave was very confused by what the psycho saying to him. "I don't understand, we're on the same side?"
"I don't care what side you're on, if you stand in my way, I take you down." Flamewar backed into the bridge as the bombs beeped rapidly to alert detonation.
Soundwave gasped hearing the bombs alerting to detonation. Fully understanding that Flamewar was trying to murder him. On that realization, the bombs gave the final beep, followed by a click detonating the nuclear power plant with youngling inside.
Soundwave visibly jumped when a gentle servo was placed on his back, jolting him out of his flashback.
Arcee could feel her sparkmate's petrified spark beating rapidly with a cold uneasy feeling. Scanning the surrounding area one more time, focusing on what used to be a nuclear power plant sitting in front of them. "What is this place, Soundwave?"
Soundwave was silent, turning away from the site of the horrific memory had repressed long ago. "Arcee please, just lead the way to the new station." He pleaded for his femme to lead them away from this place.
Arcee didn't question her mech any further, transforming continuing to lead the way until they arrived at the new enforcement station.
Soundwave shook the thought of the searing hot pain of almost being vaporized by the nuclear explosion that happened deca cycles ago. Landing in front of the small enforcement station currently under construction. "This is turning out to be decent." He said to his sparkmate, swallowing his trauma.
Arcee could tell her mech was hiding something that clearly traumatized him, but she agreed to play along with Soundwave, trying to continue enjoying their time together. "Yeah, it is, they're just putting on the finishing touches. Let's go take a look inside."
Soundwave followed his sparkmate inside the newly constructed building, it was a bit crowded with bots finishing the construction, and a few enforcement officers. Soundwave sharply turned his helm, catching a black and red femme passing by out of the corner of his optic.
"Prowl?!" Arcee called out, seeing the familiar black and white mech.
"Arcee." Prowl made his way over to the young couple.
Soundwave tried to look around Arcee and Prowl, trying to seek out the black and red femme that just passed by.
"It's been stellar cycles, I've heard that you're quite the enforcement officer, in Iacon." Prowl cheerfully greeted the young femme bot.
"Yeah, believe it, or not, Jazz and I run the station in Iacon." Arcee said, giving her mech an odd gaze.
"Soundwave, you stayed with the Autobots. I've heard you played a large part in the rebirth of our home." Prowl turned to the seemingly distracted young mech.
Arcee smiled awkwardly, waiting for her mech to reply to the black and white mech. "Soundwave..." she tapped the violet mech's side.
Soundwave blinked, turning back towards the conversation. "Sorry sir, I missed that?" He apologized to who used to be Optimus Prime's most trusted war strategist.
Arcee chuckled sheepishly. "Prowl was just commenting on the role you played in reanimating Cybertron."
Soundwave didn't exactly know how to respond to that comment. Was it a compliment, how was he supposed to respond to a compliment like that, seemed like more of a statement. "All of team Prime played a large role in the rebirth of Cybertron. I was merely a small key..."
"You were literally an Omega Key, Soundwave, you were the biggest role in Cybertron's rebirth." Arcee mentioned giving her mech a playful nudge.
"That's astonishing. I was regretfully very against allowing you into the Autobots." Prowl told the young mech. "But Optimus Prime was right about you being more than meets the eye."
[More then you know...] Arcee thought to herself, before changing the subject. "So are you going to be running this station?"
"I believe so, but once more bots graduate from the academy, I would be happy to welcome a few new Chiefs." The black and white mech replied to the young femme. "Here, let me show you around." The mech gestured for the couple to follow him.
"Great, come'on Soundwave, it'll be quick." Arcee guided her mech, Chief of enforcement officers.
The tour began to run too long for Soundwave's liking, he continued to look around warily, as many other Cybertronians passed them. Soundwave was uncomfortable in this place, given the fact he believed he saw the Decepticon femme that was stalking him. "Arcee, we should go pick up Bumblebee..." he whispered to his sparkmate.
Arcee nodded in agreement. "Sorry to cut this tour short, Prowl, but we have to go pick up Bee from the medical facility."
"You have Prime's younglings?" Prowl asked, taking the couple back to the entrance.
"Yes, we have Mirage, and Bumblebee, living with us." Arcee mentioned to the officer, almost sparking a new conversation, before her mech created a bridge for them. "Thank you for showing us around Prowl, we have to get going. But we'll have to return another time." She sighed backing towards the bridge with Soundwave.
"Agreed, I will visit Iacon soon." Prowl bid goodbye to the young couple.
Ratchet jumped back when a bridge portal appeared in front of him. "Dammit Soundwave, can you make bridges outside of the facility. I could've been in the middle of a surgery!"
"Sorry Ratchet, I will do that next time." Soundwave quickly apologized to the CMO.
"We're here to pickup Bee, I sent you a message this morning." Arcee said to the medic.
"Sure, I believe he is with Knockout. Seems bots are less inclined to make rude comments about Soundwave, in front of an ex Decepticon." Ratchet lead the couple to the fancy medic's office. "By the way, I am going to skip your game in the playfield, I just have too many patients today."
"That's understandable. Ironhide sent me a message not to long ago, saying he was caught up in his work as well. But the twins, and Jazz are more than excited to join in a game." Arcee replied to the medic.
"Wave, Cee!" Bumblebee excitedly greeted his guardians.
"Hello Bumblebee, are you ready to head to the playing field?" Soundwave greeted the bubbly scout.
"Yes, let's go!" Bumblebee excitedly made his way out of the office.
"Yes he's very excited, the little fellow's been going on about it all morning." Knockout chuckled.
"Come'on!" Bumblebee called from down the hallway.
"I bet he was, we'll catch you guys later." Arcee laughed saying goodbye to the medics.
Soundwave followed the excited youngling, out of the medical facility. "I'm going to message Mirage, tell him we're meeting at the play field."
"We told him to meet us there in the afternoon, I'm sure he'll be there." Arcee reassured her mech, as they entered the empty play field.
Soundwave exhaled deeply, staring across the metal field, at the large crowds trafficking through the streets.
"Tag, you're it!" Sideswipe playfully jumped onto Soundwave.
Soundwave grabbed the mech on his back, flipping Sideswipe over him, slamming the silver twin onto the ground in front of him.
Bumblebee jumped when a body slammed onto the ground next to him. "Sideswipe?"
"Ow, Primus! I deserved that... ah!" Sideswipe sorely sat up. "Hey Bee."
"Sideswipe, are you trying to get seriously injured?!" Soundwave hissed, helping the silver twin off the ground.
"Nope, just greeting you exuberantly." Sideswipe replied stretching his frame.
"That was awesome. You are a lot stronger than you look." Sunstreaker laughed, walking over with Arcee, and Jazz.
"Thanks?" Soundwave cocked an optic ridge, releasing his minicons, while scanning for his younger brother.
"So should we get started?" Mirage asked patting his older brother on the back as he joined the group. "Way to go by the way."
Soundwave smirked with an optic roll. "Yes, let's start."
"What are we playing, and how do you play?" Bumblebee asked the group.
"It's seek out and tag, you've played before Bee. We all hide, while one of us counts, then they come to seek us out and they have to tag us before we reach the safe zone, which is to tag the blue tube over there." Mirage explained to his younger brother, pointing at the playground obstacle course.
Bumblebee nodded in understanding. "So who's counting first?"
"Apparently Soundwave, according to the dents in Sideswipe's aft." Sunstreaker scoffed.
"Sounds more like Sideswipe is it first." Jazz retorted.
"Right I will count first, then whoever's tagged first, or doesn't make it to the safe zone, goes next." Sideswipe announced.
"Okay, but Soundwave can't use his minicons." Sunstreaker thought aloud.
"I only released them to observe our surroundings, and take a break from being cooped up. I won't use them in our game." Soundwave mentioned to the group.
"Great, and Mirage can't use his cloaking." Arcee said, which everyone but Mirage agreed.
"Ugh, fine..." Mirage groaned, folding his arms.
"Alright that's settled, let's play!" Sideswipe said, covering his optics. "1... 2... 3... 4..."
Everyone quickly ran to hide, which everyone except the younglings knew it was pretty futile, since they were all too large to hide in any of the good spots. It was basically a game of tag for the mechs and femme.
After a few rounds of fun and infectious laughter, Ravage lay on the ground off in the corner, below where Lazerbeak was perched on the metal barred fence. He lifted his helm off the ground, hearing footsteps on the outer perimeter of the play field. There had been lots of foot traffic, but it had became late evening, and the activity on the rural street had died down, so the Cyber Feline was much more aware of who was passing by.
Lazerbeak observed the black and red biped. Recognizing the femme as the one who shot him down last night. Lazerbeak twittered to Ravage, alerting the feline that the stranger was a potential threat, that was observing their master closely.
Ravage crooned back to the drone in understanding, getting up to his peds with a growl.
The femme scoffed with a laugh. "Try me creature, I shot your friend down already, what makes you think I won't do the same to you."
Ravage hissed loudly at the femme in response to the threat given.
"Flamewar you're there to observe, not get caught because you riled up Soundwave's pets." Shockwave scolded the femme over the comlink.
Flamewar groaned in annoyance, stepping away from the fence. "Shockwave, I feel as if I am sparkling sitting this boring youngling all over again. I'm not into this, it's drawl."
"Stick to the program, or find another partner." Shockwave ended the call, clearly just as fed up with the femme, as she was with him.
Flamewar angrily frowned she was beginning to get fed up with the mad scientist's obsession with perfection. "Ugh, most of your projects have failed, and now all of sudden you want to be a perfectionist..."
Ravage paced the fence anxiously, growling as he did so. Lazerbeak twittered softly to the feline, communicating what the femme was doing.
Soundwave peeked out of his hiding spot, noticing his agitated minicons across the playing field. The sunset made it hard to see what they were agitated at.
Flamewar could see the violet young mech getting suspicious. "Ugh, damn minicons." She cursed transforming, driving off before Soundwave could investigate what his pets were alerting to.
Soundwave watched the red and black Cybertronian vehicle drive off down the street. Getting up from his hidden position, while everyone was occupied chasing each other, Soundwave walked over to his minicons. "Show me where she went."
Ravage eagerly leapt the fence, Lazerbeak took off flying above the tracking feline.
Soundwave jogged after his minicons into the moderately busy streets of Iacon. He looked down at Ravage who was frantically trying to find the track through all the new ones, effectively losing the femme's track.
"Soundwave, where'd you go?" Arcee's voice came over his comlink.
"I'm across the street." Soundwave replied returning to the play field.
"Dude, the game's supposed to only be in the play field." Sunstreaker told the violet young mech.
"I know, I think I'm done playing for today." Soundwave replied stopping next to Jazz.
"Yeah, same bro." Sideswipe nodded in agreement with Soundwave. "Sunny we got to get back to the Oil House, before it gets busy."
"That's awesome you two are running Maccadam's, you two definitely scream fun in an Oil House." Arcee commented on the twins new jobs.
"Yeah it's an in between job, when I'm not doing art." Sunstreaker shrugged.
"Yeah, and when I'm not doing repairs on transporters. You two haven't even seen it yet since just after Unicron's defeat." Sideswipe said to the couple.
"You're right, we just haven't had the time." Arcee sighed, watching Bumblebee and Mirage playing in the playground.
"Well, I can look after Mirage and Bee for a joor or two. Why don't you two head to the Oil House, and enjoy some visco, or energon." Jazz suggested to Arcee and Soundwave.
Arcee was into the idea of not going straight home to deal with another possible argument between the mutant brothers. "I say why not, what do you think Soundwave?"
The young mech was preoccupied with his own thoughts, but he unconsciously agreed to go to the Old Oil House anyway.
"Great, see you there." The Sideswipe cupped a servo on the young mech's shoulder before leaving.
Soundwave quickly snapped out of his thoughts after realizing he agreed to something. "What did I agree to?"
Arcee chuckled at her confused sparkmate. "We're going to Maccadam's, while Jazz watches the younglings."
"No..." Soundwave protested against going out to the bar.
Arcee gave her mech a small smile. "Look we won't be long, I doubt Mirage and Bee will give Jazz a fair time. Since Mirage is old enough to look after himself and Bee."
Soundwave reluctantly nodded with a sigh. Knowing he wouldn't last very long in the Oil House, but he was willing to go to make his femme happy.
The Old Oil House was not far from the playing field, it was quite busy there, but that was the usual for the most popular Oil House on Cybertron.
"Hey, maybe put Ravage and Lazerbeak away, I wouldn't want them getting stepped on in here." Arcee suggested as they approached the entrance.
Soundwave returned his minicons to him, as Arcee activated the bar door, revealing the loud crowded interior.
Arcee took a step forwards ready to enter the hectic atmosphere, before looking over her shoulder to see her mech hesitating to enter. "Come'on let's go find the twins, we'll say hello, maybe have some energon, and go." The femme took her mech's servo, leading him into the Oil House.
Arcee took note that every booth was preoccupied by other Cybertronians, navigating through the loud crowd. She could see the twins at the bar, serving energon, and visco. "There's the twins." The femme pointed out leading her mech over to the bar.
Soundwave's spark began to pound, as the crowd around him became a blur, his vision became tunnelled, the only thing he could hear was his spark pounding anxiously.
As they closed in on the bar, Arcee could feel her sparkmate's anxiety ridden spark, finally getting up to the bar, she placed her mech's slender servo on the metal counter in front of them.
Soundwave winced after his servo touched the cold metal counter, realizing he was now at the bar.
Arcee turned her anxious sparkmate to face her. "Hey, just focus on my voice." She calmly told her mech.
Soundwave nodded, tuning his audio receptors so that he could focus on his sparkmate and who was in front of him.
Arcee gave a small smile at her sparkmate. "We'll leave if you're too uncomfortable okay?"
Soundwave nodded in understanding, as the twins cheerfully came up to them.
"You guys made it!" Sideswipe greeted the couple.
"We said we would come see you two, this place is sure popular." Arcee said to the cheery twins.
"Yeah, this isn't even crazy yet." Sideswipe chuckled.
"What can we get you two?" Sunstreaker asked grabbing a couple empty mugs.
"Oh, probably just some high grade..." Out of the corner of her optic, Arcee could see her mech warily watching the crowd around them. "We won't be here long, we just wanted to say hi to you two."
The twins could see that most of the bots in the bar were glaring at Soundwave, both Autobot, and ex Decepticons were quite upset with his presence. The twin brothers also took note of Soundwave's uncomfortable behaviour.
"Sure thing Cee, we understand." Sideswipe replied with a sympathetic smile.
Sunstreaker filled the mugs only halfway, so that Arcee, and Soundwave didn't have to stay for long. "Here you two are."
"Thanks Sunny." Arcee thanked the golden twin for the high grade energon.
"So what did you two get up to today?" Sideswipe casually asked the violet young mech. "And I mean besides throwing me to the ground." He jokingly patted Soundwave's shoulder.
"Not too much..." Soundwave replied quietly, staring at the energon in front of him.
Arcee took a sip of her energon before adding onto what her mech said. "We didn't get up to too much. We visited the new enforcement station on the border of Tarn, guess who we saw there?"
"Wow I didn't think they were building out that far." Sunstreaker scoffed in surprise.
"Who'd you see there?" Sideswipe asked eagerly.
"Prowl, he's going to be running that station for a bit." Arcee replied to the twins dismay.
"No way!"
"That rules tyrant still functions?" The twins groaned laughing with the femme that laughed at them.
"Yeah, just don't go pulling pranks on him. Prowl's got a lot of empty cells in the station. I'm sure a couple of them have your names on them already!" Arcee teased the twin brothers, making them laugh even harder.
"No doubts on that Cee!" Sunstreaker retorted with a chuckle.
Arcee continued to laugh, placing a servo on her quiet mech's arm.
Soundwave gave a nervous unnoticeable laugh, trying to pretend like he was enjoying being here.
Finishing her energon, Arcee could tell her mech was still very uncomfortable, he hadn't touched any of his high grade energon. "But I think we're going to head back home, before Mirage chases Jazz out of the house."
"Sure, thanks for stopping by you two." The twins nodded in understanding, thanking the couple for visiting their bar.
Soundwave turned around looking at the exit, to see a black and red femme exiting the Oil House.
"We'll probably see you guys tomorrow... whoa, Soundwave?!" Arcee gasped as Soundwave quickly pulled her out the exit.
Soundwave looked around frantically only seeing a few Cybertronians in the streets, and no trace of the black and red femme.
Arcee pulled her servo out of her mech's. "Soundwave, I was just saying goodbye to the twins." She hissed as Soundwave released Ravage from his back. "I know you didn't like it in there but..." the femme groaned as the Cyber Feline picked up on a track. "What's going on?"
"Flamewar was here, Ravage has picked up on her track." Soundwave replied following his minicon.
"Soundwave is onto you Flamewar, I'm sending you a bridge." Shockwave came over the femme's com.
"Not this time cyclops." The black and red femme scoffed.
"Don't call me that. Flamewar you can't expose your cover now..."
"I've collected enough data for now, I'm having some fun." Flamewar knew that the young mech would give chase to her, she was tired of stalking him without any action.
"Flamewar, if you get captured, you have a lot of sensitive data on your person..."
"I won't get caught, shut up, you're ruining my fun." Flamewar ended the call, she decided to humour Soundwave, and his sparkmate, and put up a small fight this time. And suffer the consequences from Shockwave later.
"Soundwave, I think you're getting a little paranoid..." Arcee said as they rounded the corner into an alleyway, where the black and red femme stood, waiting for them.
"He was always a paranoid one sweetie." Flamewar scoffed with a venomous chuckle.
Ravage hissed ferociously at the threatening femme in front of them.
"I stand corrected." Arcee said retracting her blaster.
"What are you doing here Flamewar?" Soundwave asked protectively stepping in front of his sparkmate.
"I could ask you the same. I thought you got vaporized in that explosion, and yet here you are." Flamewar smirked taking a step towards the trio, making Ravage growl with his razor fangs bared.
"What is she talking about Soundwave?" Arcee asked keeping her gun pointed at the femme in front of them.
"You knew I survived that..." Soundwave lowly growled at Flamewar.
"Yes, but by the sounds of the rumours going around, it sounded like you were nothing more than a melted pile of scrap, headed for the scrapyard." The black and red femme took another step, pushing her luck.
"Enough of this!" Soundwave hissed signalling his protective minicon to stand by. "Come with us quietly, then we can have a chat."
Flamewar gave an evil grin. "Oh Soundwave, you don't remember well do you, or you'd remember that I never come quietly!" The Decepticon femme opened fire on the three.
Arcee got hit by one of the plasma bullets, before Soundwave threw his arm out in front of her to block the shots, while Ravage charged the Decepticon.
Flamewar went to dodge the feline, but was hit by a few bullets from Arcee, that kept her in place. The shots were able to keep Flamewar in place, long enough for Ravage to jump her, latching onto the femme's armour the Cyber Feline began ripping off the metal plated armour off Flamewar.
Flamewar yelped in agony as her armoured plating was violently stripped off of her, causing her to gush energon. "Ravaging bastard!" She spat, slamming her frame into the nearby building wall, crunching the feline harshly.
Ravage growled dropping off the femme's frame, shaking off his pain, as Soundwave engaged the threat.
Flamewar was surprised to be engaged in hand to hand combat against the young mech. "I didn't think you engaged in close combat!" She scoffed kicking the glowing mech away.
"Your underestimating is going to get yourself killed!" Soundwave punched, and slashed the femme across the chest with his sword, kicking her into the same wall she slammed Ravage into.
Flamewar slid to the ground pretending to be severely injured, as the young mech approached her. When Soundwave bent down to pull her up, Flamewar fired her gun at Soundwave's face, burning the young mech's optics, before tossing him into the charging Autobot femme.
Arcee had no time to watch her sparkmate slam into the ground as she tackled the hostile Decepticon.
Both femme's tumbled across the alley, as they slowed, Flamewar tossed Arcee. The cobalt blue femme flipped through the air, landing on her peds, deploying her wrist blades.
Flamewar drew her own energy blade, engaging the young mech's sparkmate in a sword fight.
Soundwave's optics were in searing pain, he could only see a small amount of light through his tunnelled vision, getting onto his servos and knees, he could only hear clashing from the battle happening somewhere in front of him.
Ravage crooned with concern nudging his injured master to get up off the ground, while Arcee dealt with Flamewar.
Arcee bent backwards, avoiding the purple hissing energy blade that swung at her. Swinging her arm hard, she sliced the black and red femme across the face with her wrist blade.
Flamewar yelped in pain, batting the Autobot's arm away while using her blade to slice at her attacker.
Arcee hissed in pain, jumping back from the hot crackling energy blade that sliced her armoured plating on her side.
Flamewar was dissatisfied with the small mesh wound she gave to Arcee, her blade merely nicked the Autobot. While the Autobot femme was able to draw energon from her attacks.
Soundwave could hear the struggling battle between the femmes. "Ravage, go assist Arcee." He ordered his minicon, who was reluctant to leave his side, but did as he was told.
As Flamewar went to strike Arcee with her energy blade, Ravage leapt at it, grabbing the hilt out of the femme's servo, ripping the sword from her own servo.
Ravage spat the sword onto the ground after landing, spinning around with a roar, challenging the Decepticon to come reclaim the sword.
Arcee took advantage of the femme being unarmed punching the Decepticon in the head.
Flamewar wound her arm up, swinging back at Arcee, the hard hit hurtled the cobalt blue femme to her mech.
Arcee tumbled towards her mech, knocking him back on the ground. Arcee did her best to help her mech up, in the short amount of time she had before Flamewar could attack.
Ravage quickly sprinted past the black and red femme, to his beaten masters, protectively guarding them as they recovered.
The Decepticon retrieved her unguarded sword. "You're right to never underestimate an opponent, Soundwave!" Flamewar venomously said as she approached the couple.
Soundwave's optics were incredibly painful, the small amount of vision he had left gave him enough sight to show the blurry shadow of the Decepticon femme approaching them.
Ravage growled, once again leaping at the femme who batted him into the nearby wall getting a straight pathway to the femme.
Before Arcee could react the femme blasted her with her gun, throwing her behind Soundwave.
Flamewar smirked evilly at her dazed and confused target, using her wicked energy blade, to slash Soundwave across his chest. She grabbed Soundwave by the collar yanking him to be level with her. "I'm not going to kill you, Shockwave would go insane if I did before he had his revenge on you."
Soundwave tried to pull himself out of the femme's grip, listening the Decepticon's evil sickening voice.
"And frankly I am much more interested in seeing his method of ripping your life out from under you." She released the struggling bloody mech. "Shockwave, I'll take that bridge now." Flamewar deactivated her blade, holstering it as a bridge appeared behind her.
Soundwave was furious with that disturbing femme. Turning around to behind him, he stumbled over to his sparkmate. "Arcee, are you alright?"
"Ah... She got me a couple times, but I'll live." Arcee hissed in pain, as she got back onto her peds. "We hit her a lot harder, she's bled all over this alley."
Ravage crooned limping over to the couple, checking on his injured masters. He leaned up against the cobalt blue femme, helping Arcee steady her balance.
Arcee smiled giving the Cyber Feline a pat. "I'm going to call Ratchet to come look us over."
"Why, let's just go to him, the clinic is not far." Soundwave replied to his sparkmate.
Arcee cocked an optic ridge at the violet mech who was having a conversation with an energon generator that was about her height. "Because you're as blind as an energon cube, you're talking to a generator."
"Oh..." Soundwave turned around finding the dim blue glowing hue coming from his sparkmate's glowing optics. "Energon cubes don't have optics by the way."
"I know, that's why I said that." Arcee sorely replied, holding her leaking sliced open metal plating. "Ratchet, Soundwave and I just got jumped by some psycho Decepticon. I'm sending you our location we need medical attention."
"Where's Ravage, he didn't chase after Flamewar did he?" Soundwave asked with concern as he attempted to scan around for his Cyber Feline.
"No, Ravage is here helping me keep my balance." The femme replied as ambulance sirens came on in the distance. "What a nasty bitch, that attack was like a game to her."
Soundwave chuckled at his femme's anger towards the Decepticon femme. "Flamewar considers it fun. She only showed a fraction of what she's capable of, Flamewar is conniving and will not be afraid to show that entirely the next time she attacks." The violet young mech said as the sirens got very loud, tires screeching as the medic halted.
"Arcee, Soundwave!" Jazz called, as he and a couple enforcement officers surrounded the area, as Ratchet and First Aid rushed over to the injured couple.
Ravage got overwhelmed by the swarming Autobots hissing and swatting the bots that came near Arcee.
"Hey, it's alright Ravage, they're our friends." Arcee tried to reassure the protective feline.
Ravage calmed himself but continued to growl lowly as the medics looked over the femme.
"Clear!" Jazz announced after checking for any more Decepticons.
"Clear!" The two officers announced shortly after, regrouping with their Lieutenant.
"I need you to sit on the ground Soundwave." Ratchet said guiding the young mech to sit against the building wall.
"Keep both ends of the alley guarded, keep passerby's moving on." Jazz commanded his officers, who obliged him without argument.
"Did you just leave Bee, and Mirage, on their own?" The femme asked the approaching grey mech.
"Mirage said he could handle watching Bee, while I went out on a call, they're home watching holo vids." Jazz replied to Arcee.
"Thanks Jazz. Are those two new?" Arcee asked her Lieutenant.
"No problem Chief, yeah these two were interested in the night shift, so far they're incredibly intuitive." Jazz replied to his Commander. "What the hell happened to you two, this place is drenched in spilt energon."
"Did you not hear over the open com?" Arcee asked as First Aid patched up her wounds.
"Well yeah, but kinda want the details Chief." Jazz shrugged taking note of the Cyber Feline giving him the evil eye.
"An old friend of Soundwave's, has been stalking him for Shockwave. Instead of running off like she usually does, Flamewar decide to attack us for fun." Arcee explained as First Aid lifted her arm to get at another wound. "Ow!"
"Sorry Ma'am just trying to patch this up." First Aid apologized to the injured police chief.
"It's alright First Aid, it's a bit sore that's all, you're doing great though." Arcee replied reassuringly.
"So Soundwave, your friend's name is Flamewar? Could you send me a profile of the Decepticon femme, so I can get our officers to keep an optic out for her?" Jazz approached the young mech that was being repaired by Ratchet.
"She's not my friend..."
"Figure of speech Soundwave!" Arcee groaned with a laugh.
Soundwave sighed, as Ratchet gently took hold of his helm, gently lifting, and tilting it, to examine the his damaged optics. "Of course I can Jazz, I will send it to the station."
"You're all patched up Commader... Or Chief?" First Aid said to the cobalt blue femme.
"Chief, but Arcee is fine." The femme patted the caring medic's shoulder. "Thank you for patching me up." She smiled walking over to her mech, with Ravage.
"How's your patient Ratchet, do you need assistance?" First Aid asked kneeling next to the young mech.
"Damaged, but functional, can you patch his mesh wounds, while I do a more thorough exam on his optics." Ratchet replied, moving over so that the police medical officer could assist him.
"Flamewar shot him in the face with her plasma blaster." Arcee mentioned to the CMO.
"That would explain the burns, do you know what kind of plasma?" Ratchet asked.
"I'm guessing it was fusion, it burnt out my shields in one shot." The femme replied noticing her mech's cyan blue pupils were burnt out to a dim flickering violet.
"Hmm... she must be working with Shockwave, to be able to carry that kind of arsenal." The CMO thought aloud, as he placed a slim mechanical card over the young mech's optics.
"She created the weapon herself, she's also a mad scientist." Soundwave flinched when something was placed over his optics, making him completely blind.
"Easy Soundwave, it's just a scanner that's going to do a more in depth scan of your damaged optics." Ratchet tried to explain what he had placed over the young mech's optics.
"I can't move my optics." Soundwave said feeling very uneasy about what was happening to him.
"The device has frozen them so it can do a scan, it is paramount that you don't move your optics during this scan." The old medic explained, transforming his arm into a screen so he could see what the scanner could. "Now you're going to to feel a small pinch." Ratchet warned the young mech as he controlled the scanning device, engaging minuscule needles that inserted into the young mech's optics so he could take a look inside the damaged optical receptors.
"No, stop!" Soundwave cried ripping the scanner off his face.
"Primus, Soundwave!" Ratchet gasped hoping the young mech didn't damage his optics more, from ripping off the scanner. "I'm going to need to do this back at the clinic, I only saw a quick moment of what damage was there."
"What damage is there Ratchet?" Arcee asked kneeling next to the other side of her mech.
"Soundwave's corneal receptor has been damaged, causing blindness. I am assuming the damage should subside over time. But I can't confirm that until I do a full exam." Ratchet explained to the concerned femme.
"Are you able to create a ground bridge Soundwave?" Arcee asked placing a servo on her mech's shoulder.
Soundwave nodded materializing his visor to activate his bridging, his visor lessening his tunnel vision. Creating a bridge for them all, Ratchet and First Aid helped him off the ground, guiding him into the bridge portal, with Ravage in tow.
"Put Flamewar on the top of our wanted list, she's more of a danger than Shockwave at this point. She's to be arrested on sight, consider her very dangerous, approach her arrest with extreme caution." Arcee told Jazz before following the medics through the bridge.
"I'll go do that now, come'on you two, let's get back to the station." Jazz called the two new recruits to follow him back to the station.
"Arcee, are you two still at the Oil House?" Mirage asked over the femme's comlink.
"No, I'm in the medical facility with Soundwave. We'll be home shortly." The cobalt blue femme ended the call as she entered the examination room. "Oops, sorry First Aid." Arcee apologized for getting in the way of the exiting white and red mech.
"Quite alright Arcee, I am returning to the station, Knockout said he could assist Ratchet." The mech replied.
Arcee nodded in understanding allowing her medical police officer to return to the enforcement station.
Soundwave retracted his visor, as Knockout and Ratchet guided him onto a medical berth.
"Slowly now, just lay back Soundwave." Knockout cooed pressing his servo onto the young mech's sternum, guiding him to lay back.
Soundwave laid down with deep breath, flinching when a tube was attached to him, inducing him into stasis.
"Is that really necessary?" Arcee question the ancient medic.
"Hoping Soundwave didn't do any further damage to his optics, by ripping out the in depth scanner, I would prefer him to be out so I may try again." Ratchet replied putting the slim card shaped scanner over the young mech's optics.
"Knockout, do you want to check Arcee over again, to make sure First Aid didn't miss anything." Ratchet said to the fancy medic who stood by waiting for further instructions.
"Of course, right this way." Knockout gestured for Arcee to step over to the medical berth across the room.
Arcee reluctantly left her mech's side, sitting down on the medical berth Knockout gestured to. "I'm fine Knockout, but I appreciate you checking anyway."
"Well it never hurts to double check. You seem alright, got all those stab wounds patched up. No energon leaks, quite a bit of burns and singes, would you like me to buff those out while you wait?" Knockout said examining the femme's frame.
"Maybe later Knockout..." Arcee replied unconsciously, watching Ratchet examine her unconscious mech.
Knockout followed the cobalt blue femme's concerned gaze. "He'll be fine, Ratchet will fix him up. We can always replace his optics if needed." He knew it was difficult to replace optics, but figured Ratchet would know how to fix such a problem.
Arcee sighed hopping off the medical berth. "What do you know about Flamewar?"
"I've met her a couple times during the war, she's like the femme version of Shockwave when it comes to science, but a lot like Mirage when it comes to spying, except she likes to blow her cover on purpose. So she can quote on quote, have fun." Knockout scoffed with a shiver. "She's full on insane, I think she actually enjoys pain."
Arcee cringed at the medic's explanation of the Decepticon femme. "Huh, sure seemed to prove that point, Ravage practically tore her armour to shreds, yet she still kept going." She gestured to the Cyber Feline by her peds.
"The only thing Flamewar likes better than taking pain, is watching bots suffer from the pain she inflicts on them." Knockout retorted. "She purposely bombed that nuclear power plant in Tarn, hoping to kill Soundwave, because she was tired of guiding him on missions. I mean she could've just mentioned she didn't want to be Soundwave's guide, instead of blowing him up."
"What?!" Arcee gasped, making Ravage look up in surprise. "Sorry Ravage. Knockout, when the hell was this?!" She quickly apologized to the minicon, before questioning the fancy medic.
"Oh, deca cycles ago, just after Soundwave completed his training program. He was new to missions on the battlefield, so Shockwave arranged for Flamewar to be his chaperone." Knockout sighed leaning against the medical berth with Arcee. "She was impressed by Soundwave at first, but quickly grew tired of doing missions by the books. Looking after a youngling, demoted her to glorified sparkling sitter, in her optics. So on her last mission with Soundwave, she lured him into that nuclear power plant, faking an ambush, before blowing the whole place up, hoping to vaporize Soundwave in the process."
"No wonder Soundwave was acting aloof when we passed that place in Tarn." Arcee thought aloud.
Knockout frowned with a sigh. "I'm surprised he didn't break down. The only reason I know about that explosion, is because Soundwave told me what happened, when he arrived on the Nemesis to recover from his visor installation."
"Visor installation?" Arcee cocked her helm curiously, before gasping in surprise. "That was the explosion that melted his faceplate off!"
"Yes." Knockout nodded as the femme frowned.
"Soundwave told us all, that he made a careless mistake on one of his first missions, he blamed himself." Arcee shook her helm, upset that her mech blamed himself for being attacked.
"Mhmm, and unfortunately like Shockwave, Flamewar is all about recreating your worst nightmares. That shot to the face, was just the beginning, Soundwave needs to be really cautious." The red medic warned, walking back over to the CMO.
Arcee gave Ravage a concerned gaze, before following the fancy medic, with Ravage in tow.
"So what's the damage report, Chief?" Knockout asked the CMO.
"I've done what I can to stabilize his damaged corneal and optic receptors. Soundwave's own systems are recovering the damage as well, so I believe he will suffer temporary blindness until tomorrow afternoon." Ratchet reported to his colleague and the concerned femme.
"Ratchet, I'm at a loss. Now that It's confirmed that Soundwave's being stalked by that psycho, I don't know if Soundwave should go home." Arcee sighed as the medic reversed the young mech's stasis.
"Arcee, take Soundwave home, there's two younglings that need your protection." Ratchet cupped a servo on the femme's shoulder. "Your police force now knows of Flamewar's presence, and her mission to stalk Soundwave. Your forces will be constantly patrolling your street."
Arcee gave a small smile, appreciating Ratchet's reassurance. "Okay, Ratchet." She sighed as Soundwave awoke from stasis.
Finally entering their home after a very long night out. Arcee helped guide her sparkmate in the door, she was met by both younglings recharging on the couch snuggled together, while a holo video played in the background. "I figured they'd try to stay up all night." Arcee chuckled at the adorable brothers.
"What's going on?" Soundwave asked trying to focus on the large grey blob in the flickering dim light, in front of them.
"Bee, and Mirage are huddled together, recharging on the couch, that's all." Arcee sighed tiredly, leading her mech down the hallway. "I'm going to put you in our berth, then I'll do the same with those two." Arcee entered their bedroom, she didn't bother to activate the lights as her mech was blind anyway, unknown to her that he could see small amounts of lights and shadows.
"I can help move them." Soundwave said as Arcee sat him down on their berth.
The cobalt blue femme chuckled softly at her mech's offer. "That's a sweet gesture Wave, but I kind of don't want you to slam one of their helms into a wall on the way to their berths."
Soundwave snorted with a chuckle. "Fair enough."
Mirage opened his optics when he felt Bumblebee being lifted off the couch. "Cee?" He tiredly blinked as his optics focused in on the cobalt blue femme.
"Shhh, get yourself into your berth, while I put Bee in his, please." Arcee whispered, carrying the small yellow youngling down the hallway.
Mirage sat up on the couch, wondering why Arcee was taking Bumblebee to bed, and Soundwave was no where to be seen. Getting off the couch he saw Ravage sorely making his way down the hallway, to Arcee and Soundwave's bedroom.
Soundwave cocked his helm curiously hearing very silent footsteps, followed by purring. "Hey Ravage, you did good tonight." The violet mech reached out to pet his minicon.
Ravage could see his master's searching servo, rubbing his helm into the slender servo, rubbing up against Soundwave's stabilizer servos, before curling up on the floor by his masters peds.
Mirage peeked his helm into his guardian's bedroom, seeing his big brother sitting on the end of the berth.
"Arcee?" Soundwave softly called out, hearing a pair of light footsteps enter the room.
"No, it's Mirage?" Mirage frowned in confusion as he approached his brother.
"You should be recharging." Soundwave continuing to speak softly, following the sounds of his brother's movements.
"Why did you think I was Arcee?" The red youngling continued to question his oddly behaving brother.
"It's dark, Mirage, get in your berth before Arcee catches you." Soundwave sighed getting off the berth. Reaching for the berth again, so he could use it's edges to walk around to his side of the berth.
Mirage backed away awkwardly as Soundwave almost walked into him. Taking note of his brother's fresh scars on his violet frame. "You were in a fight."
"Mirage, get in your berth." Arcee hissed at the red youngling standing in her bedroom.
Mirage turned seeing Arcee's freshly patched up frame. "Jazz was responding to your distress call. What happened, why can't Soundwave see?"
Arcee tiredly sighed wrapping an arm around the younglings shoulders. "Soundwave and I got ambushed by that Decepticon femme. We're okay, Soundwave got shot in the face, he's suffering from temporary blindness, but Ratchet said he'll be fine in tomorrow afternoon." She explained escorting Mirage to his berth.
"It's already tomorrow." Mirage retorted as Arcee guided him into his berth.
"Then by the afternoon. I will explain further, tomorrow, but for now Soundwave and I are exhausted, we're going to recharge while we can." The femme replied walking towards the youngling's bedroom door.
"Fine... goodnight." Mirage sighed laying down in his berth.
"Thank you for taking care of Bee. Goodnight Mirage." Arcee bid the youngling a goodnight, before returning to her mech.
"Did he ask you what happened?" Soundwave asked as his femme climbed into the berth with him.
"Of course he did, but he's recharging now. And so should we." Arcee replied wrapping her arms around the violet mech's slender frame.
It didn't take long for his exhausted sparkmate to fall into slumber, it was already early in the morning, the sun had yet to fully rise. Soundwave's sensors were all agitated, he was too anxious and afraid of Flamewar infiltrating his home.
Mirage was the first out of his room, when the sun finally rose enough to pour light through the windows. He was eager to go hunt down the crazy femme that injured his brother, but something inside him told him to stay and help his brother.
Soundwave was tired of pretending to recharge, he could see that there was now a small amount of light, meaning the sun must've been shining through the bedroom window. The young mech wriggled out of his femme's embrace, getting out of the berth, he reached out searching for the wall, so he could find the door. Soundwave couldn't believe how unbalanced he was without his vision, thinking to himself that he must look like a drunkard returning from a night of drinking high grade and visco. Taking a step forward he full on stepped on his slumbering minicon, who ran out from under his ped causing him to lose his balance and fall backwards.
Ravage yelped, leaping onto the berth after being stepped on by his master, accidentally landing on his master's recharging sparkmate.
Arcee jolted upwards after the rude awakening of the Cyber Feline leaping on her. "What the frag, Ravage?!" The femme hissed, seeing the black and silver minicon staring off the edge of the berth.
"So you couldn't have woken me yourself, and ask for assistance?" Arcee smirked at her sparkmate who sat defeatedly on the floor.
"I didn't fall, I'm looking for something." Soundwave pouted, knowing his femme was probably smirking at him.
"Mhmm, how's that going without any vision?" Arcee sighed, getting off the berth to help her sparkmate off the floor.
"I can see a small amount of light and some shadows." Soundwave replied as Arcee assisted him off the floor.
"Oh, why didn't you tell me that last night, I would've left the lights on for you." Arcee scoffed leading her mech down the hallway. "Good morning Mirage." She greeted the red youngling on the couch, lowering Soundwave so he could sit next to his brother.
"That's alright, it wouldn't have made a tremendous difference." Soundwave replied as Arcee tipped him backwards making him clutch her tightly.
"Hey, I'm sitting you on the couch, relax." Arcee coaxed her mech to loosen his panicked grip.
"I can't sit down, I need to go to the enforcement station." Soundwave said standing up.
"Ugh, let me get some energon. And get some ready for Bumblebee before he goes for his shift, then I will take you to visit Megatron." Arcee groaned going into the scullery.
"I'll take him." Mirage volunteered to his guardian's surprise.
"Really, are you sure?" Arcee seriously asked the youngling.
"You're not going to do that. It's not fair to you." Soundwave shook his helm no.
"Look I'm going to cross paths with my murderer eventually. Better late than never." Mirage shrugged.
"Fine, but you don't have to enter his cell." Soundwave reluctantly agreed with his brother.
"I'm your guide that's not going to happen." Mirage replied as Soundwave conjured up a bridge.
Mirage took his brother's servo, while placing his other servo on his brother's back, guiding Soundwave into the bridge.
Arcee watched the brothers leave, laughing when Ravage came sprinting down the hallway, jumping into the bridge just as it closed.
"Frag, Ravage!" Mirage cursed when the feline slammed into the back of his legs.
"Another guest, and an extraordinary one, at that." Megatron thought aloud upon seeing the red youngling emerge from the bridge into his cell.
"We're here Soundwave, you bridged us in the cell, Megatron's right in front of you." Mirage ignored his killer's greeting.
Megatron frowned wondering why the violet young mech looked dazed, and confused. "What's the matter, what happened to him?" He asked the young assassin with concern.
"He was attacked by Flamewar, he's temporarily blind, but will regain his vision in a joor or two." Mirage replied.
"Soundwave I warned you to watch yourself!" The grey mech scolded his former subordinate.
Mirage coward when the massive mech raised his voice at his brother, while Ravage hissed threateningly at the former warlord.
"I know, and now I remember why..." Soundwave replied sadly, he knew Megatron was disappointed in him, even though neither of them should've cared about one another. "I chased her down, and paid for it."
Megatron sighed with disappointment, but mostly concern. "Then this was just the beginning of her antics. Soundwave this will be my final warning, stay away from Flamewar, avoid her as much as possible. Unless you have a premeditated attack plan, that will 100% take her offline, I don't advise engaging unless absolutely necessary." Megatron stared directly into the violet mech's glitching optics. "That warning goes for you as well assassin. You might be bringing in these hard to get prizes, but this one will out smart you. And use you to bait a trap." He warned the red youngling as well.
Mirage nodded in agreement, but was not going to take that advice, he figured that he would fight fire with fire, even if he had to go to nuclear levels to eliminate the femme. He could tell Soundwave knew it was impossible to entirely avoid the femme, and knew they would have another terrible encounter with Flamewar.
"Now go, recover yourself, and rest. You have a whole planet to defend." Megatron told his company to leave, which Soundwave obliged his request, opening a ground bridge.
Arcee was surprised to see Soundwave and Mirage return so quickly. "Back already?"
"Megatron scolded him for chasing after Flamewar, after he specifically warned him to be careful." Mirage almost laughed, helping his brother back to the couch.
"Ha, well serves you right, Megatron did warn you, I was there." The femme retorted at her mech as Bumblebee emerged from the hallway.
"I get it now, but that warning absolutely goes for everyone in this home. Do not engage Flamewar, until we have a very thought out plan to defeat her." Soundwave sternly told his family.
"We won't, she sounds scarier than Megatron." Bumblebee said from where he stood in the scullery.
"Come'on Bee I'll go with you to the clinic." Mirage gestured for his little brother to follow him out of the house.
Bumblebee nodded, quickly giving Arcee, and Soundwave a hug, before leaving with Mirage.
"Soundwave, you know we can't totally avoid Flamewar. She's going to strike again." Arcee sighed to her mech.
"I know..." The violet mech replied, as Arcee wrapped her arms around his slender frame. "I'm sorry about last night at Maccadam's." He apologized to his femme, for ruining a fun time.
Arcee squeezed her mech lovingly, with a soft chuckle. "Don't apologize, I know you don't like crowds in small spaces. I had fun, it was just the right amount of time spent with the twins."
Soundwave smirked nodding in understanding, they had spent the entire afternoon into late evening, gaming with the twins, he should've remembered Arcee liked small doses of the twins. "You did enjoy yourself with them."
"I did, it's a rare occasion when they don't act like total idiots." The femme retorted with a smile. "But I do have to attend the academy boot camp, at some point this solar cycle." Arcee said as she released her mech.
"Okay, I won't keep you then." Soundwave replied taking a step forward, gasping as he was suddenly yanked backwards.
Arcee pulled her mech back towards her, preventing him from walking into one of the scullery counters. "Not until you regain your vision." Arcee laughed.
Soundwave sighed deeply nodding in acknowledgement. He knew once he had regained his full vision, he would have to get himself to the Hall Of Records, and begin data collecting.
After a few boring joors of Arcee sparkling sitting Soundwave had passed by. The young mech regained his full vision, with the occasional minor blip of sudden blurry vision.
"Call if you need anything, I am going to send a few of my officers to guard you." Arcee said as she was on her way out the door.
Soundwave shook his helm no, following Arcee out of their home. "No, there's already guards at the Hall Of Records. I don't need to be personally guarded. I don't think Flamewar will be striking again for quite some time."
