Reyna:
Reyna watched Hazel and Leo gallop off on Arion and Percy and Annabeth fly off on Frank. She felt so useless. She turned around and smiled at the others.
"So, what do you guys want to do," she asked brightly. Coach Hedge looked flustered.
"I need to iris-message someone," he muttered as he walked off.
"I don't mind. I'll hang with you guys." said Piper.
Reyna drew he sword as she heard growling behind her but immediately dropped it as she realised what it was.
"AURUM! ARGENTUM!" she cried happily (Me forgetting that Reyna had dogs). Reyna was so happy as she hadn't known the dogs were on the ship. The two mechanical dogs rested their warm metal necks on her shoulders and whirred contentedly.
"They followed us up the deck when we carried you on. They were whining and kept nuzzling you. They wouldn't let anyone come near you apart from me. Annabeth had to shout instructions from outside your cabin to tell me how to dress your wound. If that's not loyalty-the dogs not Annabeth- then I don't know what is,"
They nuzzled Jason and growled at Piper. Jason smiled and patted their heads. She looked around and wondered where they'd been staying while she was unconscious.
Reyna looked up at Jason and smiled.
She'd had an idea to ditch Piper.
"Do you think you could show me around? I've only actually seen the deck and the lounge." She said.
"Sure," said Jason," But, to be honest, there's not much else to see."
"And I'll just go back to my Cabin then shall I?" muttered Piper sarcastically. Luckily, Jason didn't hear her.
He lead Reyna down a corridor and pointed to a wooden door.
"That's the bathroom, there's another one at the other end of the ship,"
Then they walked past a room that glowed eerily red around the edges of the metal doors.
"That's the engine room, or so I've been told. No one actually goes in there apart from Leo,"
Then they looped back up to the deck.
"That's it?" Asked Reyna.
"Well, yeah."
Jason took her hand, and sat on the edge of the ship. The water swirled around the ship, under their feet. She leant her head on his shoulder and relaxed, swaying to the rhythm of the slowly rocking ship.
" This is nice," whispered Jason. And Reyna agreed. Aurum and Argentum were curled up in the corner, their silver and gold coats shining in the sun. As Reyna closed her eyes, the warm sun glowing on her face, she fell asleep. And for once, she did not dream. She woke up with a start an the first thing she realised was that she was alone.
"Jason," she said, slightly self consciously. Suddenly her dogs growled and ran off.
"Wait!" She called, running after them. They led her through the ship, past the lounge and down the cabin corridors. They began to growl and pawed the door of Jason's cabin. She was confused, wondering why Jason hadn't stayed with her and went back to his cabin. She heard giggling from inside, a girl's voice. Reyna opened the door warily just in time to see Jason kiss Piper.
