p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: .5in;"span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;"Prince Phillip sat in his bed, thinking. He could not believe what he had heard. His own wife, the woman he loved and thought he knew, had just committed an unforgivable crime. While he was grateful to being alive and well, he could not excuse what she had done. In fact even Aurora's parents Queen Leah and King Stefan felt the same as he did, so much so that they decided to pass judgement on the princess and send her into exile. But in Phillip's mind, that was not enough. He wanted to make her truly pay for what she did. Just then, some commotion outside his room interrupted his thoughts. Slowly getting up, the prince made his way to the door to see what was happening. The castle guards were shouting and running through the halls in the direction of the armory. Opening the door, Phillip reached out and grabbed the arm of a passing guard. " What is all the commotion about?" He demanded. The man sighed. " King Stefan ordered us to prepare for battle." Phillip frowned at his words. " Battle? What battle?" " It is because of what the prin- the traitor Aurora did. The Narnians she stole from came after her and declared war on us." With every word the man spoke, Phillip's anger continued to grow. Nodding at the soldier, he released him and said, " Very well, carry on then. I will join you all shortly." The soldier nodded and ran away without another word. Taking a deep breath to try and calm himself, Phillip then proceeded to take off in the opposite direction, not stopping until he had long since left the castle and entered the surrounding forest. Along the way, he had caught sight of Aurora and did his best to intercept her, but once they reached the forest there was no sign of her. " Aurora!" Phillip screamed. " You cannot hide like a coward forever! Soon I will find you, and you will have to pay for what you did! Divorce and exile are too good for you after what you have caused!" Scanning the area once more and still seeing no sign of the former princess, Phillip growled in frustration and ran back towards the castle and the ensuing battle. Meanwhile, Aurora slowly emerged from her hiding place behind a nearby bush, her tear-filled gaze fixed on the prince's retreating form until she could no longer see him. Trudging through the woods until she reached the edge, Aurora stopped and turned to gaze back at the kingdom she could no longer call home. " Goodbye, Phillip." She whispered. " Goodbye Mama, Papa. I am so sorry for everything I put you through." With those last words, Aurora continued on, determined to put the past behind her and find a new life, a new home. /span/p
