The Hospital:
Previously…As they were pulling up to Lake Shore, she started waking up again…
Lake Shore Emergency Room:
Severide pulled up to the ER of Lake Shore and opened the back doors. Shay and Dawson both jumped out, bringing the gurney with them. All three could tell that Katy was starting to wake back up but knew that her recovery was going to be a long one. She had been missing nearly three weeks and for her to have been able to escape was something of a miracle. There had been no leads on her case since she went missing. Her friend Jack had stayed in town though, in order to help with the search.
Where am I…how did I get here…are they going to kill me…?
Surgery & Waiting:
Shay and Dawson helped the doctors and nurses out with everything they knew. Numbers were rattled off and wounds were assessed then the three squad members were told to go wait in the Surgical Waiting Room (SWR) as they were redlining Katy to the OR. The three headed for the SWR and waited for the rest of the squad to show up. Gabby called her brother who told her that they were already on the way over.
The rest of Firehouse 51 as well as Det. Dawson & Voight showed up at the same time twenty minutes later. And all were forced to wait to hear how bad off Katy was. If Katy survived surgery and her recovery then she would (in theory) be able to tell them where she was being held. Although that was if she remembered where she was being held or if she even looked where she was going when she was escaping her captors.
