With the completion of the first of the first star miner and the jump drive using quantum tunneling based on a disassembled mass relay and biotic charges, the final piece needed, the UEG Infinity, the new 25km UEG Flagship Supercarrier with the most up to date technology, is finished being assembled and takes ambassador Anita goyal to the Citadel

Valren: I can see that, hmm you're Prothean terraforming theory makes sense
Ambassador Goyal: secondly would be our technological singularity concept, for us it was Quantum Gravity, a limitless resource.
Valren: ah that makes sense, you don't need to rely on finite eezo amounts
Sparatus: what is a technological singularity?
Valren: a technology that allows the usage of nemours others technologies that spring from it. For us it was element zero
Ambassador Goyal: to father relations between our two governments we have decided to allow Citadel scientists to access a world through the Segari mass relay which is a primary relay with five destinations
Tevos: what is so important about this world that would interest us?

Ambassador Goyal: we haven't pacified the entirety of the terminus systems yet but we are making good progress. As for our territory this is it

Ambassador Goyal: oh I am sorry, it's just that while you may like to think of yourselves as having entire slices of the galaxy based on your maps the truth of the matter is that you are stretched incredibly thin while we spread outwards like a shockwave. In other words all of this territory is occupied by us

Ambassador Goyal: yes, all of it
Valren: And we were the first time you encountered other intelligent life?
Ambassador Goyal: yes, we have found that life is extremely rare off the relay network. We have found only sub sentient and semi sapient species along with a handful of primitives that were leaving alone. We speculate that the Protheans built relays along a path of terraformed worlds to make life more abundant and teach them
Ambassador Goyal didn't actually believe any of this, she was just playing off what they knew. In actuality the UEG knew the relays were built billions of years ago due to radiometric dating, far before the Protheans even emerged. The relay network appeared to be built on a cycle of genocide and this lead the UEG to create as many miltary and material resources as possible while searching ever single clue they could find
As of now finding as much information on these "Reapers" and "Harvesters" as many extinct cultures referenced, was the top priority
The UEG also were highly suspicious of the Protheans being benevolent due to them calling themselves an empire. Many suspected an imperium or other authoritarian state of some kind
Tevos: that would fit their nature. A galaxy as empty as human space would be quite lonely and waiting so long for life to naturally evolve would take a long time.
Valren: creating new life to enlighten, yes that would make sense
Sparatus: I agree
Valren: now what is an enhancement suit?
Ambassador Goyal: an enhancement suit is a biomechanical suit that incorporates cybernetic and genetic augmentation as well as granting kinetic abilities, a sort of external biotics
Tevos: external biotics?
Ambassador Goyal: indeed, why waste lives and time with in utero exposure when you can just create a suit that replicates such abilities with no dangers
Valren: hmm could this be replicated with eezo?
Ambassador Goyal: quite easily just create the eezo nodes on the suit and connect them with a biotic implant. With this anyone could be a biotic as we ourselves all have kinetic abilities
Tevos was extremely disturbed by this ability to create biotics in anyone, something the Asari bragged about having in their entire species

Liara T'soni was ecstatic. To find a entire Prothean bunker was a huge find and after waiting for the excavation to dig to the entrance she, a Salarian named Mordin Solus, and a Human came up to the entrance where a green orb appeared that spoke in Prothean but was translated
Vigil: No indoctrinated presence detected. No corrupted presence detected. No Reaper presence detected. Greetings Asari, Salarian, and undiscovered species I am Vigil a Prothean Imprint AI
Liaria: The Protheans used AIs?!
Vigil: indeed
Project Lead Cathy: wait did you say the Reapers, we must know everything you know of them. Why do they do what they do, why do they harvest species. We need to know their abilities and strategies. What is indoctrination? Also by the way I am a human

Vigil: those simple myths nearly destroyed the Protheans and trillions before it in each cycle. I am transferring data on the Reapers. Setting Undiscovered species designation to Human
All three got the information while Cathy immediately sent the data to UEG HIGHCOM while posting it on the Internet

Cathy: What are you doing here Vigil? Based on your name you watch over something?
Vigil: indeed Human. I and many of my brethren watch over this hidden installation hiding nine hundred thousand Protheans in stasis

Vigil: the Reapers like to think themselves omniscient and perfect. This is not the case as we had destroyed over 100,000 Reaper capital ships and over 10,000,000 indoctrinated and corrupted ships during the war dealing a blow to much of their forces.
Cathy: Why did you lose the war? And you still haven't answered my question
Vigil: we lost for many reasons. Firstly our empire only had a single doctrine for every Prothean servant and ruling race. Once the Reapers had learned of them and countered them they were ineffective
Liaria: servant race?!
Cathy: ah we suspected as much. We assumed the Protheans were an imperium of sorts
Vigil: It was a dictatorship with an oligarchy of rulers under the Emperor. Secondly was when the reapers invaded through the Citadel which is in actuality a massive mass relay to dark space where the Reapers reside. From here they took control of the entire Reaper mass relay network. All but our five core systems were cut off from each other
Laria: why weren't these systems cut off? And is this world a core system?
Vigil: yes Asari this is a core system, the Prothea system and you are on Essar. As for Prothea it was destroyed according to sensor readings. Prothea is the asteroid belt currently orbiting this star between the second and third planet
Laria: They destroyed an entire planet?! The entire Prothean homeworld?!
Vigil: correct. As for why it is because the Protheans had recently discovered the secrets to the mass relays and built our own ones to link each core system with a primary relay of our design as well as small versions for battlefield usage.
Cathy: how did the core systems fall?
Vigil: the core fell from within and from without. At the time we still couldn't detect indoctrinated AIs and the Reapers sent them in as sleeper agents to turn against us and sabotage our defenses. They allowed the Domination, Strength, Fortitude, Growth, and finely the Prothea Systems to fall

Siri: I am Siri, a human AI and i must know your indoctrination countermeasures for AIs so we can utilize them
Vigil: transmitting data and all other reaper data to you Siri
Cathy: why are the Protheans in stasis and how did they escape the notice of the reapers?
Vigil: beings in stasis have muted life signs and do not need nearly as much space nor any food, it was deemed more efficient. Additionally all data of this installation was scrubbed from all databases on the surface and beyond as well as this bunker being self sufficient and on it's own network.
Mordin Solus: why didn't you wake them up sooner?
Vigil: sensors were damaged as a neutron bomb was launched to deny the reapers Essar. As a safety precaution I can only awake the Protheans from stasis by a organic being who is not indoctrinated nor corrupted
Cathy: Can You wake them up? We need they to fight the reapers
Vigil: yes I can. Activating awakening procedures
2 hours later after the Protheans are woken up
Jarvik: I am General Jarvik, or as of now Emperor Jarvik of the Prothean Empire, kneel primitives
All Asari and other Citadel races kneeled but the humans did not
Jarvik: "you do not kneel humans." He walked up to them and touched Cathy's arms. "but you are the dominant race over the others. You also fight the Reapers unlike everyone else. Therefore your transgression shall be excused-"
Just then Sovereign, Collector, and husk Quarrians came into the system and quickly destroyed the council escorts before the lead ship entered the atmosphere and let out a chilling mechanical horn that the Protheans could never forget.
Vigil: Corrupted presence detected, Indoctrinated presence detected. Reaper presence detected. Capital Class. Relay functionality is normal. It is the vanguard
Emperor Jarvik: the reapers seek to deny us giving the primitives tactical information! to arms! Activate ships! Fire weapons!!
The ground shook and exploded as a Prothean dreadnought and two cruisers rouse from the ground and into orbit where they began firing sea green particle beams at the collector ships
Cathy then sent an alert out to the UEG while putting down a prototype interstellar wormhole gate that unfolded into a 50 ft tall gate that dropships and people came out of
Just then the Infinity arrived through it's jump drive followed by multiple dreadnoughts alongside it through its wormhole
The Dreadnoughts began fighting the corrupted Quarrians and collector ships while the infinity descended into the atmosphere firing beam weapons, PMACs, SMACs and kinetics at the reaper which instantly exploded under the fire
Emperor Jarvik: I have spoken too soon, you humans are not primitives. That ship is clearly equal to The Penumbra Apex minus the plasma stream projector. You do have plasma accelerators through so you will create that soon
Emperor Jarvik: You also have small mass relays as we do to transport smaller ships and personnel. You are clearly not primitives, you are a ruler race on par with us or perhaps beyond us
A large group group of troop transports landed and started spewing out corrupted Quarrians while collectors flew into the battlefield wielding rifles shooting golden energy beams
Emperor Jarvik drew his own sea green beam rifle while powering up a green biotic warp and yelled "attack the corrupted!" "For the Empire!"
"For the Empire!" The Protheans echoed
Beams of gold exchanged fire with those of sea green and blue along with golden biotics facing green biotics and shimmering kinetics while the Humans and Protheans fought side by side protecting the scientists and civilians
A glowing collector then flew down and boomed out "ASSUMING DIRECT CONTROL." "I AM HARBINGER, I WILL DIRECT THIS PERSONALLY. THE ESCAPEES SHALL BE HARVESTED" it boomed as it threw a cluster of explosive flaming biotic warps into the Human/Prothean lines
Emperor Jarvik: it's a Harbinger Node! Focus your fire on it!
Blue and green beams shot at it and tore it apart
More and more troop transports landed sending out corrupted species from the collector's exchanges with slavers
Vigil: Corrupted Asari, Corrupted Batarians, and Corrupted Turians have joined this battle
A corrupted Asari performed a biotic charge at Emperor Jarvik but was torn apart by his green biotics
It was however a losing battle for the collectors as their ships in orbit were destroyed by the Human dreadnoughts, the Prothean dreadnought and cruisers, and the Infinity
2 Hours Later
Emperor Jarvik: you fight well humans and you build your technology better. In other times you would be a welcome addition to our empire as one of the ruler species.
President Anderson: but now we must work together to defeat the reapers, you have told me why your people failed and I must say most of that is mitigated because we do not use element zero and there is no single ruling empire
Emperor Jarvik: So it was possible? We had a theory of such before we found the remains of our previous cycle. We tried to revive its research near the end of the reaper war but we didn't get very far before we were wiped out everywhere besides this bunker
President Anderson: The main ruling body is the citdel council who I stress are incompetent, stagnant, idiots of the highest order. Already though we are backing a winning rebellion of Batarians who will join our Coalition alongside the Quarians and their Geth AIs to create a better version to be more united against the reaper threat
Jarvik nodded at that "indeed being Stagnant is a waste, one must self improve. A static existence is meaningless"
President Anderson: you will find humanity feels similar. Unlike the council who can tolerate nothing ever charging. How they can stand such an existence I cannot know. We must improve ourselves to not do so is against our nature.
Emperor Jarvik: Indeed, we feel the same. That drive for self improvement exists in all Protheans. It is what had allowed us to become the most advanced race of our cycle and hold back the reapers for centuries
President Anderson: that same drive also exists in Humanity and it has lead us to become the most advanced race of our cycle
Emperor Jarvik: we may disagree on governing but we can agree this drive has lead both our species to supremacy and greatness in our respective cycles
The Quarian Conclave
Zaal'Koris: So these "corrupted" were the Quarians of the 25%? He asked clearly disturbed
President Anderson: Yes they were, we have also sent you all information about the reapers and how to protect yourselves and AI against indoctrination. You must you it for the sake of everyone
Envoy: a software patch has been sent across the network with prothean-creator upgrades in addition to human-creator upgrades. I personally thank you on behalf of the Geth
Rael'Zorah: To think you actually found living Protheans… additional we have been increasing our ship production but most still want to live on Rannoch for now

President Anderson: and the Protheans were spacefaring while the Asari used wood and stone for tools. I'd hardly call them a "younger race"

Emperor Jarvik: for one you are primitives. Secondly you have fallen victim to Reaper propaganda made to weaken you. We make extensive usage of unshakled AIs and advanced genetic engineering. Valren: It was you who backed the Batarian rebellion!
Councilor Igarn: yes it was them. Those "Quarrian" weapons were disguised human weapons and humanity bought nemours Asari licenses to pay for other things such as vehicles
Sparatus: so all our searching of the former Terminus systems and looking for an Asari Matriarch was a waste of time?! A diversion?!
