chapter 4
Hannah was playing baseball with her family. "This is an odd game," Chase said,
"What is it called again?" Blades asked.
"Baseball," Hot shot said.
"I see," Blade said.
"It's a nice day Hannah want to go for a ride later?" Hot shot asked.
"Sure," Hannah said. "Is it okay?" she asked.
"Of course it is, just remember to wear your helmet and remember our rules," Libby said.
"Come on Hot shot let's go," Hannah said and grabbed her helmet and hopped on him.
She and Hot shot were riding through the forest. Then they heard something. "I hear something Hannah," Hot shot said.
"I hear it too," Hannah said. "It sounds like someone needs help," she said. They went to the source of the noise and saw Noah sitting on the ground holding his ankle. "Noah are you okay?" she asked.
"Hannah glad your here, I hurt my ankle while hiking for rocks to add to my collection and then I tripped over that tree root and I hurt my ankle I can't even walk because it hurts so much." Noah explained.
"I will take you to the fire house my mom is an EMT she can help you," Hannah said. "ATV bot transform." she said.
"Yes," Hot shot said in a robot voice. He transformed and Hannah helped Noah on to the back of him.
"Hang on tight," she told him. They made it to the firehouse.
"Hannah back so soon?" Ally asked.
"Ally get mom Noah's hurt," Hannah said helping Noah off and to the coach.
Libby came and took a look at Noah's ankle. "It's pretty swollen," Libby said. She touched it. "Does that hurt?" she asked.
"A little," Noah said.
"Try moving it," Libby told him.
Noah tried to move it. "Ouch!" he said.
Libby X-rayed it. "It's not broken, so it's just sprain," Libby said. "You have to rest your ankle until it heals," she told him.
"Okay," Noah said.
"I called your mother Noah she's coming to take you home," Alan said.
"Hannah you did the right thing about bringing Noah here, he's lucky you decided to go for a ride with your bot today," Libby said.
"I am just glad Noah is going to be okay," Hannah said.
Noah's mother came to pick him up after that.
"Okay guys what do you say to a movie?" Hannah asked.
"That sounds perfect," Travis said.
They started the movie and began to watch it.
A couple of weeks later Noah called. "Hey Hannah you got to check out what mom and I found," he said.
"Okay I'm coming," Hannah said. "Hot shot let's go," she said.
Her brothers and sister were heading out too. "Kids we have story for you that you might want to here," Libby said.
"Yes, we do," Alan said.
"Not now got to go," Hannah and her siblings said.
Once there at the lab Noah showed her a hologram. "Check this out we found it while working on the yard. There is all kinds of old tech in here," Noah said.
"I'll say some of it is pretty old," Hannah said. "Hey look at this old thing what does it do?" she asked.
"We are not sure about it but my mom says it may be part of something," Noah said.
"Part of what to be exact?" Hannah asked.
"We don't know," Noah said.
"It looks like from some sort of machine if you ask me," Hannah said.
"I agree," Noah said. "Check out the other things we found too," he said.
"Wow check out these old emergency vehicles, and that old motorcycle," Hannah said.
"Yes they are old from 1988, these things are pretty cool and these things are pretty old too," Noah said.
"Hey it's one of those old TV sets," Hannah said.
"Yes it is, mom says it's in perfect condition she says it will be perfect for the science and history museum," Noah said.
"Check it out and old radio too," Hannah said.
"Yes it is," Noah said.
Hannah and Noah saw Noah's mother Dr. Talvir. "Hi Dr. Talvir," Hannah said.
"Hi Hannah," Dr. Talvir said. "I am grateful to you and your bot for helping Noah when he was hurt," she said.
"It was no trouble, right Hot shot?" Hannah asked.
"Right no trouble at all," Hot shot said in a robot voice.
"You know I think there is more to these bots some times, Hannah," Noah said.
"Same here they have a high degree of artificial intelligence, they also seem to act on their own." Dr. Talvir said.
"Well there is more than meets the eye for these robots," Hannah said and leaned against the wall. Then a door opened.
"A secret door," Noah said.
"It seems something is back there that someone wanted to keep hidden," Dr. Talvir said.
They saw a machine. "What is it mom?" Noah asked.
"It appears by the looks of it to be some sort of time machine," Dr. Talvir said.
"You mean like the book by H.G. Wells?" Hannah asked.
"Exactly there is a date setting for it and various parts that are here all but one," Dr. Talvir said.
Hannah was still holding what she found earlier. "Do you think this might be it?" Hannah asked.
"Yes it," Dr. Talvir said.
"My family has got to see this," Hannah said and called them. "Hey guys you won't believe what Dr. Talvir found and is beginning to fix." she said.
Her family came with the bots. "What is it?" Travis asked.
"It's a time machine," Noah said.
"A time machine, that's dangerous it can unravel space and time itself or change things if we are not careful so time travel will be risky." James said.
Dr. Talvir was busy working on it and Hannah and Noah went to get a closet look with the bots. "This way cool," Noah said.
"Just a couple more minutes and there," Dr. Talvir said and it activated without warning. It went to a random time and Hannah, Travis, Ally and James and Noah and the bots were sent away.
"Oh no!" Libby said.
"I fear we need help on this one," Alan said.
Hannah and Noah and the bots were in 1988. "It's March 14th 1982," Travis said.
"That was before we were born," Ally said.
They saw a young man who was busy. He was watching from a squad car. "That guy looks familiar," Hannah said. "he looks like dad," she said.
"Wait a second that is dad," James said.
"I doubt that," Travis said as they saw their father park at local custard joint to get something to eat. They went inside. Travis came up to him. "Excuse me sir I am doing a poll for college homework about names and if you had a first born son what would you call him?" he asked.
"Travis," the man said.
Travis came over. "Okay that guy is our dad," Travis said.
Then they saw a young lady come into the shop she was wearing an EMT uniform. "That's our mom," Ally said as they saw her sit down at a booth.
"Wow," James said. "I wonder if this is how they met?" he said. "We must be careful not disturb anything," he said.
Then they left the restaurant. "Our parents are inside and this before they met so we mustn't disturb anything between them," James said.
"Why not?" Hot shot suddenly asked.
"I knew it," Noah said "but don't worry I won't tell," he said.
"You are smart," Chase said.
"Thanks," Noah said.
"The reason why we don't want to disturb them is they either won't meet or if they do meet they may not fall in love and that is bad for us," James said.
"Bad for you how?" Blades asked.
"It means if mom and dad never fall in love or get married, Travis, Ally, Hannah and I will cease to exist meaning we will never born," James said.
"Who is that guy flirting with mom and she doesn't seem interested and he seems not to be taking a hint and trying to drag her away." Hannah said.
"Let's help her." Travis said.
"Oh no you don't," Ally said grabbing him and they watched as their father made the guy stop and showed him his police badge. He gave the guy a warning and he left Libby alone. She thanked him and they started to talk.
"Wow they met and they seem pretty happy to be together." Hannah said. Then the two of them sat there and talked for sometime and the five of them went into watch.
"I hope we aren't disturbing you all over there," Libby said.
"Don't worry, you're not," Hannah said.
They saw them leave together and continue talking. Things were looking good. "Amazing," Travis said.
Then they continued to look around. Then they saw Optimus Prime. "Optimus," Hannah said.
"Come on we must leave here before we cause trouble in the time stream," Optimus said.
"Good thinking," James said.
Then they left as Optimus powered up the time machine. They made it through to their time. "That's a relief." Hannah said.
"I'll say," James said.
"Mom!" Noah said and hugged his mom.
"Thank you rescue bots," Alan said.
"No problem," they said in robot voices.
"Don't worry Alan and Libby filled me in I will help keep the bots secret." Dr. Talvir said.
"Now we have to make sure that this time machine is locked up tight," Heatwave said. "Don't want to risk anything," he said.
"We have come to a good understanding on this," Optimus said.
Things were going to continue as they normally did.
