'Old road to new places'
Beacon academy, ballroom, zooming in on Dominik Umbra .
''No… No… Rippers!'' shouted Domi as his sleep came to and unforseen end.
''Domi, calm down, I'm with you, it's me Jaune. It was just a dream, just a bad, bad dream!'' stated Jaune trying to calm down Domi, who was drenched in sweat, shivering.
''Jaune… brother… ok… ok… '' said Domi, barely catching his breath. ''the Rippers, I was there again, O'Leary mountain, when Deacon and Bozer died. The fire, the smoke, death…'' Domi spoke sobbing, while Jaune tried to comfort him.
''It's this time of the year again, isn't it.'' Stated Jaune, Domi just noding in agreement. ''Everything's allright, we are safe here, no rippers anywhere near.'' Jaune added.
With a deap inhale and exhale Domi began talking ''I'm good, I'm good… when initiation is over we will have to go visit the memorial.'' He stated with a now calm tone.
''At least I won't have to deal with waking you up!'' stated Jaune, just to recieve a ''Not funny!'' from Domi.
''What is all this commotion about, it's 4.20 in the morning!'' steted a barely awake and irritated Yang.
''Domi had a nightmare, a real bad one. The one where he saw our uncles die.'' Explained Jaune.
''Oh… sorry about that, I know what you mean, Ruby had such nightmares when our mother died. It isn't pretty.'' Yand said with a understanding look on her face.
''I need a drink, or I'm gona shoot myself.'' Stated Domi.
''I dought the school cafeteria serves alcohol. But I know you keep your stash on your bike, don't you?'' asked Jaune. Only receaving a knowing smile from Domi.
''I am getting a drink and I'll come back. Catch some z's while you still can.'' Domi said walking towards the exit of the ball room.
''Is he gona be okay?'' asked a concerned Yang.
''He never will be, but for the circumstances yes. He just needs some booze in his sistem to forget about it.'' Explained Jaune wit a half worryed and half angry look on his face. ''Let's sleep while we still can, Domi won't be joining us for z's today.'' Added Jaune.
''Well, he is your brother after all, I trust your judgment whe it comes to him.'' Said Yang before going back to sleep.
Beacon academy, ball room, 6 in the morning.
''Rise and shine!'' yelled Domi, to Jaune's surprise.
''This is weird… you are never up before me…'' said Jaune.
''I know, right. This is so strange. Here I got you some coffee. And yes it is like you like it, extra cream doble sugar.'' Stated Domi, giving a paper cup to Jaune.
Jaune took the bevarege and took a long sip. To his surprise it was like he liked it. Who is this man, who replaced his brother.
''Who are you and what have you done to my brother?!'' Jaune asked.
''Relax, I only remembered your favorite, because I meet Coco at the cafeteria coffee corner. Apereantly she stayed up designing a new outfit, and yes she left us yesterday to scold someone on comiting crimes against fashion. That's also the reason why she steyed the whole night up to design a new look for some guy.'' Explained Domi.
''Aceptable answer… you are allerdy in your gear, but where are your guns?'' he asked his brother.
''Apereantly they moved out weapons to seperate locker to ensure maximum security, a whole load of bullshit if you ask me. And we will ge the locker numbers and combination send to us, 1h before the start of initiation.'' Explained Domi.
''You still got your kni…'' before Jaune could finish his sentance Domi pulled out his boot knife from his sleave. ''But of course I do, I don't sleep without this thing.'' He said. While looking at his brother, who also proceeded to pull his knife from somewhere. ''Good'' Jaune stated.
''Go get yourself showered and changed, Rubes and Yang allredy went to do so, and yes I allerdy did so myself, I couldn't run around covered in sweat. Now get going we have a date with the both of them for breakfast.'' Stated Domi.
20 long minutes passed as Domi waited for his brother, the two girls allerdy waiting besides him.
''Took you long enough! Even Yang with that lot of hair is quiker than you!'' he stated pointing at Yang.
''Whatever, let's get some grub.'' He said receiving 3 nods of agreement.
The 4 of then made their way to the cafeteria. Everyone got in line and got themeself what they wanted to eat. They proceeded to sit at a table at the corner of the giant cafeteria.
Everyone now sitting, took a look at what the others chose. Yang went with cornflakes and a croissant and a glass of orange juice, Jaune went for bacon and eggs and some toast with a glass of orange juice as well. Now to the ''Breakfast'' that Domi and Ruby chose. Domi, of all thing, went with a pizza, topped with all kinds of meat, a piece of Chocolate cake and a coffee. Noone knows how he got the pizza and the cake, because they were not on display, but it has probably to do with the fact that he was here earlier. He also got a cantena out of his coat, probably containing alcohol. Ruby on the other hand went with a plate of cookies, a small plate of strawberries and a big glass of milk.
Domi aded the contiant fluid from the cantena to the plastic coffee cup.
''Spicing up the coffee?'' asked Yang.
''You got a problem with that, I thought you were cool. Guess I was wrong.'' Stated Domi.
''No, that's not what I meant, just keep it away from Ruby.'' She said.
''I got my milk thank you wery much.'' Ruby stated sipping on her milk.
''Don't worry, I would never give alcohol to a kid. Not even a cute kid like her.'' He pointed at Ruby, who started to blush a litle.
In the background a ginger haired, energetic girl was dancing around a tower of pancakes, besides her a calm black haired, with a magenta streak, boy was sitting. He looked like calmness itself. He was trying to calm her down, having somewhat of a effect.
The 4 of them finished their breakfast, and fast enough 8am came around. 1hour before initiation. They all received messages on their scrolls with the locker numbers and their combinations.
''Locker 23! Here I come.'' Stated Ruby.
''23… I got 68.'' stated an enjoyed Yang.
''You be talking…'' said Dominik and Jaune in unison. '' 626 and 627… you got to be kidding me.'' Said Domi.
Yang now with a smirk on her face and a way better mood said ''Good luck with that, you will need it!'' she the proceeded to turn and search for her locker.
The brother took of in search of their lockers… 270… 337… 477… 699… ''Fack to far…'' said a enoyed Domi.
640… 630.. 627 and 626! They finally found their lockers, but they were obscured by two girls, one of them was oddly familiar to Jaune. As he realized it was the same crimson haired girl from the balcony, now wearing brons and gold themed armor, a shiel and spear combo on her back. The other girl with platinum white hair, and overall white fading into wery light blue themed combat skirt and jacket, Apereantly wielding a rapier, was was torturing the redhead with her devilish speach.
''Let me handle this…'' said Jaune. Going to crash the conversation.
''Just imagine it… the strongest first year and the smartest first year, together we would be the best team to ever attend Beacon.'' Stated the girl in white.
''That, sounds… grand?'' stated red.
''I am terribly sorry to pop in unanounced, but would the two of be so kind making space so me and my brother could get our weaponry.'' Stated Jaune.
''Oh, yes… I'm terebly sorry.'' Stated red.
''Don't be.'' Stated Domi.
Domi and Jaune proceed to unlock their lockers, and before they could take their weaponry, white started talking.
''Do the two of you even know to whou you are speaking to?'' white asked.
''Don't know… should i care…'' said Domi putting on his ammo belt. Red was surprised the two of the showed zero interest in her.
''This is Pyrrha Nicos, the 4 times in a row winner of the Mistralien regional tournament, she graduated top of her class at Sanktum academy!'' white explained.
''Hello'' greated Pyrrha
''The name is Jaune , nice to meet you Pyrrha.'' Said Jaune extending a hand to shake, which Pyrrha gladly took.
''I think I have parteken it that tournament, but had to withdraw due to a job.'' Stated Domi ''But I've never heard of you before. The name is Dominik Umbra btw. But most people call me Domi'' He added also extanding his hand to shake her. After that they proceeded to put their weapons into their holsters.
The white haired girl was fuming. ''Do you two dolts live under a rock, how can you not know her, she is even on every Pumpkin Pete's marsmalow cereal box!'' she explained.
''Oh… that's why you seemed familiar.'' Stated Jaune while putting on his belt that held his crossbow. ''Don't usually only celebreties and cartoon figures get on front of those boxes?'' asked Jaune, making the white haired girl even angrier. While Pyrrha was really happy she meet someone who didn't know about her fame, maybe they could become friends, or something more, a voice deep in her mind said, no focus not right now.
''Weis, calm down, it's not a big deal.'' Stated Pyrrha.
''Not a big deal, you say…who do these hooligans think they are.'' Stated Weis in a angry manner.
'' We are drifter, to your information. And we good, really good, maybe even the best!'' stated Domi.
Weis now fuming with anger, walked off, leaving the three other to chat.
Would all initiates report to the Beacon cliff for initiation. I repeat all initiates report to Beacon cliff for initiation! Said the voice coming from the speakers.
''Well, it was nice talking to you again, hopefully we meet again Pyrrha.'' Said Jaune.
''Indeed, it would be nice, see you at the cliffs.'' She said and wawed goodby before leaving.
''What was that about?'' asked Domi.
''I went for a walk before I went to sleep, and meet her, we talked a little. That's it.'' Stated Jaune. Only to recieve a ''Sure'' from Domi.
The proceeded to put the rest of their gear on and then went to the Beacon cliffs.
Beacon cliffs 10minutes later.
Everyone was guided to step on a silver plate on the ground. At that moment Domi saw the Headmaster. Great. He thought, another boring and dull speach was coming their way.
''For year you trained to become warriors, today we will put these abilities to the test.'' Began Headmaster Ozpin.
''Now, you hear rumors about partners and teams…'' began Glynda ''let me clear things up for you. You partners will be the first person you make eye contact, who doesn't have a partner allredy. The teams will be made out of 2 pairs of partners.'' She explained. ''These teams will be for the next 4 year here at Beacon, so you better find someone to get along with.'' Added Ozpin.
''Now to the task at hand, to successfully complete initiation, you and your partner must retrieve a relik, hidden somewhere in an abandoned temple in the norther end of the Emerald Forrest.'' Ozpin explained. ''You will be monitored and graded thruot the proces.'' He added. '' Are there any questions?'' he asked.
''So how do we get down there?'' asked Jaune. ''You will be launched.'' Glynda explained. ''Great… I guess we have to figure out a way not to die in the proces of landing, if I'm right.'' Said Jaune with a dark undertone. ''You are absolutely correct Mr. '' Said Ozpin.
And with that one after another, the were launched into the forest down bellow. ''Oh… great. I love flying.'' Thought Domi with a sarcastic tone. And with that Jaune was launched, second later Domi foloved.
Domi pov
Flying thru the air Domi was thinking: what will hurt more, using my aura to shield my legs at the impact of the landing or using my semblance. Using my semblance would hurt more but it would use way less aura in the proces. I got a lot of aura, but such a impact would take a hefty chunk out of it while it would only take about 15% ou my total aura to use my semblance. Now decided to use his semblance, Domi was nearing the ground, and wery fast he was. Less the 5 meters from the ground, Domi activated his semblance, turning into a black smoke/mist like substance, settling slowly in a cloud shaped like human, slowly turning back to Domi, from which grunts of pain, could be heard a long way off. ''God faking damnit, each time it hurts like hell, hopefully I find some freaks to compensate.'' He almost yelled with a killing intend on his face.
Jaune pov
Jaune was soaring thrue the air, preparing his semblance, boosting his own aura, so the impact wouldn't do to much damage to him. Nearing the ground, he closed his eyes. Preparing for the impact… that never came. He opened his eyes, to see the was hanging from a three, pinned by his hood by a red and gold spear, that was odly familiar. He was handing roughly 15meters above ground, so he swung his leg to a nerby branch and anchored himself on it. He proceeded to pull out the spear, that was surprisingly deeply embedded in the three. With the spear in hand he jumped down the three, not taking any damage to his aura at all. Now looking at the spear, he stated '' Thanks for the help, but it wasn't needed. Partner. '' Turning toward Pyrrha Nicos. ''I didn't expect that you would notice me so soon, it thought was sneaky enough.'' Stated Pyrrha.
''Where I come from, you either have the skills it takes to do a job, or you don't and die trying. I didn't die, and learned the skills to survive.'' Jaune stated. ''Maybe I will teach you how to sneak properly sometime in the future.'' He added.
''That would be grand. But for now we should go search for the relics. Shall we partner.'' Pyrrha sudgedted.
''Lead the way.'' Said Jaune throwing her her weaon and readying his crossbow.
The two new partners wandered towards the north side of the forest.
Domi pov
Domi was walking towarda the north side of the forest, shotgun in his right and pistol in his left. Then he hear a howl, one of a beawolf to be precise. He followed it, sneaking behind the bushes as he saw something utterly and thuely descusting, there beowolfs were taking apart a corps of a fallen initiative. Domi's eyes now burning with anger, he shot two bullet from his pistol, both heads hots that took the grimm out in an instant. Domi sheated his guns, as the third wolf like grim charged at him, only to make aquatance with Domi's boot knife. A swift strike to the skull, just deep enough to instantly kill it, Domi sidestepped from the corps charving at him and pulling out his blade from the grimms head. ''I do hove you liked that, you piece of shit snoopys.'' He stated in anger. Before turning towards the corps, quickly saying a short prayer. Walking towards the dropped weapon, of his fallen comrade, he picked it up. It was a dark purple mech shift katana like sword, that turned into a smg. He sheated it on his left back strap alongside his shotgun. ''Finders, keepers. I doungt you will need it anymore. Better not let it go to waste.'' Domi thought as he picked some magazines from the corpse.
With the new weapon to his name, he started to walk again towards the north side of the forest, luckily his scroll has a compass app.
Jaune pov
Jaune and Pyrrha have been walking for quite a while now. As Jaune spotted a cave entrance.
''You think this is it?'' asked Jaune.
''I don't know, seem kind of odd to put relics into a cave.'' Stated Pyrrha.
''Or is it. Think about it. Let's go check for the chance that this may be it.'' Explained Jaune. As he pulled out a lighter to lighten the dark cave he just entered.
The two of them walk for a good minute, finding nothing as they see a golden shimmer come from deeper inside the cave. The went deeper, the golden object in mere reach as Jaune went for it. ''What are these simbols?'' asked Pyrrha.
''Oh… these, these are codes used by Huntsmen and drifters to mark thing.'' He explained as he reached for the object. As he touched it he was done reading. ''Run...'' he said, running towards the exit. ''Why?'' asked Pyrrha. ''Deatstalker!'' he yelled. ''Oh'' was her respond before sprinting towards the exit hearing a massive grim behind her.
When both of them reached the exit of the cave, soon after emergent a ancient Deatstalker with gient golden stinger.
''Run, we can't fight this thing alone, we have a chance if we find Domi, or a group of othe students, but alone we can't do nothing against it.'' Explained Jaune running toward the north side. Pyrrha nodind in agreement and following him. They were cris crossing and randomly going to their sides to throw of the Deatstalker.
Domi pov
Bang, bang, paw.
He shot the last few grim of the group. The walked ove to the 2 bodies lying on the ground. Saying a sort prayer to his fallen comrads. ''Another two, for the morgue. It's not looking good. Hopefully little Ruby is still with us.'' He thought.
He replaced the smg magazin magazine, turning the weapon to sword forn, holstering it. He then loaded his shotgun with 5 more dragons breath shells. He barely scratched his ammo supply, not to mention his supply of explosive molotovs he had in a pouch he added from his bike to his outer belt. ''Hopefully Jauney isn't in trouble'' he thought to himself as a shiver went down his spine. He had to get to Jaune and that fast. He started sprinting towards the north side.
Jaune pov
He and his partner, were running from a ancient death stalker. Jaune remembered that Domi gave him a smoke bomb for emergencies. With his left hand he searched a poked on his jeans, finding said smoke bomb. ''Get to me, we will make our exit in smoke. When the smoke apeard runn straight thrue it then straight left!'' Jaune stated, Pyrrha closing her distance to him. Jaune boosted his left arm with his semblance, igniting the smoke bomb and throwing it quit a bit in front of them. The bomb almost instantly produced a ton of smoke. The two of them went straight into the smoke and turned left. The oversized griim, not being able to see ran straight into a bunch of threes breaking them and geting itself stuck. ''Run, we got to make ground while it's stuck!'' explained Jaune.
''How did you know this would happen?'' asked Pyrrha.
''A story from my late uncle Deacon. He pulled this stunt before.'' Stated Jaune.
''He must have been a great huntsman!'' stated Pyrrha.
''No, he wasn't. He wasn't a huntsman… he was a drifter. Like me and my brother.'' Explained Domi.
''Whatever he was he sounds like a great strategist, when he came up with such a plan.'' She stated.
''He sure was.'' Added Jaune.
With that a ruine appeared in their sight. A pair of girls standing at the ruins. One of them being Yang, the other a jet black haired girl, wearing black and white, with a large bow on her head. ''Domi would like her'' Jaune thought to himself.
''Hey biker boy, why the rush?'' Yang asked teasingly.
''Giant ass deaths talker on our asses. We could use a hand.'' Stated Jaune. With that a howling of a Ursa could been heard. As a ginger haired girl came riding a Ursa that collapsed the moment they reached the clearing. '' Awww… it's broken.'' Stated the ginger. A litle after that a boy with long jet black hair and a magenta streak in it aperared completely silent next her. ''Don't just run off like that Norra.'' Stated the ninja. ''Sorry Ren.'' The ginger now know as Nora said as she ran to get herself a relic at the ruins. She took a golden rook riece and exclaimed '' I am queen of the castle!''
Jaune went to get the other golden rook piece storing it in one of he's pockets. ''Now that that is taken care of… let's focus on deeling with the problem at hand.'' He said as the screach of a nevermore could be heard. Flapping towards the was a giant nevermore, having something red and white hanging from its tail feathers.
''Aren't those Weis…'' began Pyrrha. '' and Ruby!'' finished Yang.
With that said, Ruby dropped from the bird like grimm, scattering into a cloud of red rose petals flying towards them. ''Hey Yang'' she said rematerializing in front of them.
''What were you going on a giant nevermore?'' Yang asked.
''Taking a shortcut to the temple.'' Ruby stated.
''What about Weis… and she's falling.'' Stated Yang.
Jaune seeing the girl falling towards her doom, activated his semblance enchanting his speed and leg streanght, just in time he caught the white haired girl in his arms like a princes.
''My hero.'' She stated as Jaune was now holding her like a princes.
''Perfect Timming I guess, haven't missed the fight yet, but just in time for the romance part. Where is the popcorn.'' Stated Domi.
Jaune sighted and let Weis go, then looked at Domi who went to take a relic for himself, so did Ruby. Domi took the gold bishop, while Ruby took the black knight.
'' Where's your partner?'' asked Jaune.
''The closest thing to a partner I found was a corpse, of a bunch of corpses should I say.'' Domi explained.
''Your luck is at its peak again today, isn't it. Well, we will make due with what we got.'' Jaune said as the ground began to tremble. The death stalker came to the clearing crashing thru the threes, looking pissed off.
''Oh… that's why I feelt, that you are in trouble. How did you even manage to find such a giant ass scorpion?'' asked a surprised Domi.
''Cave'' came the answer from Jaune. ''Well we got to deal with this. And this.'' He pointed at the approaching death stalker and the giant nevermore circling in the sky.
''Could we get t 5 seconds of peace!'' said Yand and Domi in unison.
Tick, tack, tick, tack, tick.
''Alright now we can all die together.'' Yang stated.
''Don't worry I've got a plan!'' said Jaune with a smirk on his face.
''What kind of plan can a hooligan like you come up with, beeting the grim to dear with a stick?'' Weis stated in a mocking manner.
''Just linten to him, his plans are good… most of the time.'' Stated Domi.
The proceeded to listen to Jane's plan.
''The nevermore won't attack till it sees a opening to attack, our best bet is that we split into two teams, one luring the nevermore away, while the other takes care of the death stalker.'' Stated Jaune.
''Not even half bad'' stated Weis. ''How should we split up then?'' she asked.
'' Weis, Ruby, Yang and… '' began Jaune now looking at the black haired girl, whose name he didn't know. ''Blake'' she added. '' The 4 of you have the most range, so you take the nevermore to the cliff up ahea where you can fight it easier due to its limited maneuverability. Meanwhile me, Domi, Pyrrha,… Ren and Norra was it?'' Jaune aske receiving mood from both. '' We take on the the stalker.'' Finished Jaune, explaining his plan.
They spit up, Ruby's team luring away the nevermore. While team Jaune preaoered for the stalker.
Ren preparing his smg's, Norra readying her grenade launcher, Pyrrha with shield and spear, Jaune with his crossbow loaded wit a explosive bolt, Domi holding a smg/swor in his left and a molotov in his right.
''Where did you get that weapon?'' asked Jaune.
''Found it next to a corpse, not like he would have any use for it.'' Stated Domi.
''You are returnigh that to the owners family… the would want to have something from their lost one.'' Stated Jaune. Domi just sighted. ''Why can't I never have the good toys.'' He said.
Ass soon as the deats talker appeared, all started stooting, Pyrrha going into melle range and started swiping at the grimm.
''Red, get away I'm burning it's ass.'' Shouted Domi. As Pyrrha jumped away, and as soon a she did that a molotov hit the grim. ''Take that you oversized crab!'' stated Domi. The molotov exploded into a large fireball with a bit of lightning here and there. Doing moderate damage to the grimms bone armor.
''If we can weaken the armor enough, we can use its stinger to pierce it. Domi how many molootovs you have left?'' shouted Jaune. ''2'' was Domi's answer.
''Norra keep firering on its back, Ren and I will focus on the stinger and get it lose. Pyrrha kep its focus on you, and Domi… burn it down.'' Commanded Jaune. A grin appearing on Domi's face.
Pyrrha ketp the grimm's focus on herself, Ren and Jaune worked at the stinger now only hanging from it by a bit. Norra and Domi exploded/burned the living life out of its armor.
''Pyrrha… the stinger.'' Shouted Jaune. Pyrrha throwing her shield like a discus, cutting of the stinger, dropping it onto the almost broken back armor of its spine, piercing it with almost no resistance. ''Norra, hammer the nail!' said Jaune, Norra turning her grenade launcher to hammer mode, launching herself into the air with a grenade, and slamming the stinger into the grimm. The death stalker screamed in pain as it fell to the ground dying. ''Burn in hell, and great the devil from me, will ya.'' Stated Domi with proud tone in his voice.
With their victory, the looked towards the cliffs where Ruby's team was. Seeing a red blurr shooting up the cliff, beheading the bird grim.
''We got to get some upgrades.'' Stated the brothers in unison…
Beacon, auditorium. After initiation.
Cardin Winchester, Rustle Trush, Dove Bronzwing, Sky Lark. You retrieved the black bishop pieces, from this day onward you will be known as them CRDL. Led by Cardin Winchester.
The crowd cheated and the headmaster continued.
Ruby Rose, Weis Schne, Blake Belladona, Yang Xiao Long. You retrieved the black knight pieces. From today onward you will be known as team RWBY. Led by Ruby Rose.
Weis was shocked and angry that she was not made team leader, and you could see that.
As the crowd cheated Ozpin spoke again.
Jaune , Norra Valkery, Pyrrha Nicos and Lie Ren. You retrived the gold rook pieces. From today onward you will be known as team JNPR. Led by Jaune .
The crowd cheated as Jaune got a smile on his face.
Ozpin started speaking again. ''That would be all teams but not all students… Dominik Umbra , please join me on stage.'' Stated the headmaster.
''You retrieved the gold bishop piece, despite not finding a partner, sadly to say no othe students manager to retrieve the same relic.'' Stated Ozpin.
''So… I got no team, no partner… which means I out.'' Stated Domi.
''Quit on the contrery. Due to the high number of casualties this year, whitch is a sad truth, as you have seen for yourself…'' stated Ozpin, receiving a nod rom Domi. '' We lack the numbers of students, this year, so you are accepted aither way, not mentioning the low numbers, your skills are permitable, you will make a great huntsman.'' Stated Oz. ''Untill we fill the team, of your with new ariwals (which is higly chanced to not happen. He thout to himself), you will act on your own, coming to team mission you will be joining your brothers team, as i asum that that would be be your prefered team…you will have your seperat dorm thou, the rooms are made for max of 4 students.'' He examined. ''I will have to ask you to also return the weapon of Mr. Rendin, so it can be returned to his family.'' added Ozpin.
''So that's his name, may the brother have mercy on his soul… Noone deserved a end like he did.'' Domi stated giving the weapon to . ''Deus vult, alea iacta est.'' Stated Domi.
''God's will it, the die has been thrown. I did not expect you to know Old mistralian(latin) .'' Stated Ozpin.

The teams RWBY, JNPR and Domi the lone wolf, got their dorms assigned, to their surprise they were right next to each other.
''Yay, we are neighbors!'' stated a exited Ruby skipping along everyone.
''So we got free till Monday, 3 days before lessons start.'' Explained Jaune. ''Me and Domi are going to town… we need some upgraded. And we neek to get to that tailor Coco said she would take us to.'' Added Jaune.
''Why do you need a tailor, your outfits look… good enough.'' Stated Yang.
''As you see we are not wearing cuts, like bikers normally do, that is because our cuts are at the end of the line, they are on our bikes as lucky charms. We plan on getting our logo to be on my jacket and Jauneys hoody.'' Explained Domi.
''And as for upgrades?'' Ruby asked with a sparkle in her eyes.
''I plan on getting a new machete, my current one is more rust than metal, and maybe some sort of extendable, wrist mounted shield.'' Said Jaune. Hearing pure excitement from the red reaper.
''While I need to get a nother Super 90, and some metal, I plan on forgin a mech shift shotgun machete, nothing to fancy thou. The school has a workshop right?'' asked Domi.
''Of course it does. I checked it out allredy, and I can help design and craft your new weapon. Can I, can I… please!'' said Ruby with a puppy eye look on her face.
''I won't turn down help, at leas as long as you don't blow up any of my dust shells, like you did back before initiation.'' He teased Ruby ''That was one time, and it was an accident!'' countered Ruby.
With that said they arrived at their respectable dorms. Each team went to check their room. Each was semi big room with 4 beds in it, 2 doors and 2 dors, one leading to a small kitchen, the other to a mediocre bathroom. To Domi's surprise he got a full dorm room to himself ''Just how many people died at initiation?'' he asked himself.
Domi proceed to walk over to his brothers door. ''Jauney, mind bunking with me, till we visit the memorial, and clear my mind?'' he asked his brother. He nodded.
''Mind explaining why?'' asked Norra.
''It's the time of the year that our uncleas died, and Domi is having some real bad nightmares, he wakes up in cold sweet thinking his in the middle of a warzone, mentally broken. You may have heard him screaming the morning in the ballroom. And he needs me to get him back to reality. Normally it gets better after we go visit their memorial, which we will do before classes start.'' Explained Jaune.
''I am really sorry about that. If you need someone to talk to, I'm here for you, both of you.'' Stated Pyrrha with a calming voice.
''Its a thing you can't fix, but thanx for the offer. I will hit the hay, every cell in my body hurts.'' Domi said as he turned and walked to his dorm adding a ''Goodningt'' before dissapearing into his room.
''What was that about, he didn't look like he took any hits during initiation. Or did he?'' asked Pyrrga.
''I guess he had to use his semblance, while landing. It's really poverful, but whenever he uses it he is in extream pain. So he doesn't use it untill it's necessary.'' Explained Jaune.
''What is his semblance thou?'' asked Ren.
''He can dematerialize his body into a black smoke/mist like sufstance, and rematerialize again. He can use it to get a advantage in battle fake taking a hit, leaving he's opoment open. Or he can use it to maneuver around his opoment. That's about it, we don't know the limitation of his semblance because he rarely uses it because of the pain.'' Explained Jaune.
''That is soooo cooool!'' said a now hyper Norra. ''Do you think he will, show us if we ask?'' she asked just to receive a ''Nope'' from Jaune.
''We can talk about details, tommorow. Let's get some rest.'' Said Jaune.
Ren calmed down Norra. And Jaune left to join his brother in his dorm. With that everyone went to sleep. Except for Norra who still had a ton of energy.
Jaune and Domi both thought that this is going to be a lot of work, specially Norra, they will have to calm her down somehow. The two had also a lot to do on their own agenda. Hopefully 3 days are enough.
With that and the song Push, by Thousand Foot Krutch silently playing in their head as they drift to sleep.
