Sakura and Ino walked out of the exam hall , walking to the street to get picked up by Sasuke and Sai respectively, everyone knew Sai and Ino were becoming a thing- it was only a matter of time before Ino-

"GUESS WHAT FOREHEAD!"

"What?"

"Sai and I are dating!" Ino said happily.

"Congrats ! I'm really happy for you."

"Yeah! we had been going back and forth for a while I guess it was only a matter of time."

"Uhhh I'm so happy the exams are over."

"That reminds me you're coming to the festival right?"

"What festival ? "

"Konoha U holds a festival after the exams - it's super cool. Music bands, carnival games, Street food you name it."

"Sounds great- I'll check it out."

"Umm I wanted you warn you- You usually go with someone, but I can't come with you, I'm going with Sai."

"Oh sure, thats fine. Maybe I'll check with someone else."

"How about mr. Eye Candy?"

"Sasuke? sure I'll check with him."

"How are you two not together already- 6 months. 6 MONTHS. Don't guys get horny or anything?"

"INO! I-I mean... I kinda like him."

"SEE I KNEW IT!"

"He's really nice- When I got the pre exam jitters like I always do, he brought me Ice cream and comforted me. I really liked it."

"Wha- Forehead you two are basically dating already just ask him."

"I'll see."

Sakura got into the bus and headed home.

"TEME HINATA SAID YES." Naruto shouted in the middle of the work day

"Damnit don't shout in my goddamn ear."

"Turns out she had a huge crush on me this whole time. Neat."

"How you can be so oblivious I'll never know."

"We're going to that festival together."

"Festival?"

"Yeah there's going to be a festival at Konoha U. but most people usually come with a partner. Going to a festival alone is pretty sad."

"Too many people- Not interested."

"Gosh why are you always like this?"

"Whatever." Sasuke handed the subway sandwich he was making to the customer and took the payment.

Sasuke twisted the door knob and went inside his rented apartment. He was immediately hit with the smell of some food coming from the kitchen. He went inside to see Sakura cooking some fried chicken in the kitchen.

"I'm back." He said non chalantly

"Sit down, food gonna be served in a second."

"Ah." He sat down and suddenly two plates were set in front of him as well as some food.

They both ate in silence for some time and suddenly sakura spoke up.

"Sasuke I-I wanted to talk to you about something."

Sasuke looked up from his food in a gesture for her to continue.

"There's this festival coming up, I was thinking maybe-maybe we could go together, since I don't have anyone to go with."

Sasuke's brain had already formulated a 'no' and the word was already on the way to his mouth when something inside him stopped him from saying no. That annoying part of him kept pushing the logical side of his brain till finally he said what the part wanted him to say.

"Alright, whatever."

Sasuke didn't know why he had agreed but the smile and happy look on Sakura's face already made him feel like it was worth the sacrifice.

"Thanks Sasuke! You're the best!"

"Hn."
