Chapter 3
With Asuma
"A-S-U-M-A S-A-R-U-T-O-B-I" said the cigarette blowing fellow we know as he wrote down his own name on the summoning contract. (Think of the contract as the toad contract but with like furriness) "Ok im done" said Asuma. Kakashi saw the sadness in his friend's eyes and he knew what it meant, hopelessness and sadness. Without saying anything, Asuma went home to cry. He had never had perfect ties with his father since he was the Hokage and he wasn't there with him all the time, however, he was still a father to him. Kakashi just shunshined away to the emergency council meeting.
Council room
"First, the death of our comrade, Hiruzen, has made all of us very sad, especially us and Asuma. However, we cannot stay in the past, we have to move on, firstly we need to arrange the funeral of our now deceased Hokage." Said Koharu. Koharu Utatane, Homura Mitokado and Danzo Shimura, were the 3 advisors of the Hokage known as The Elders and were in the Konoha Council. The Council was seated with the Clan heads of Konoha with the 3 elders beside the Hokage seat. Kakashi was taking the place of Asuma. "I say we should host the Funeral in 2 days as we need time to prepare but not take to long." Suggested Kakashi. The clan heads agreed that it was a ok date. And further down the meeting, they were discussing everything until… "BANG!" the door opened forcefully as Jiraiya entered. He was wearing his signature perverted face and did a not so real looking apologetic bow. "I HAVE IMPORTANT NEWS COUNCIL!" said Jiraiya, he randomly took a seat and sat down. Everybody was staring at him including the one eyed freak. "Ok this is very important news. I was not gonna tell this so soon until I have more confirmed intel but my spies just told me more information so I thought I might as well share it." Jiraiya said as he took a breath. All eyes and ears were on him. "There is this terrorist organisation called the Akatsuki. They are a group of S-Rank Shinobis working together for "peace"" Jiraiya raised his fingers showing the " ". "I was told that they were going to hunt the tailed beast." Everybody gasped. "IM NOT DONE! Ok continuing, I have received new information today from my spies, they will be hunting the tailed beast in about 3 years. From my spies, who we know are Itachi of the Sharingan". Hearing his name, the elders visibly stiffened, and put back their old people face. "We also know of Deidera the Mad Bomber and Kisame, the tailless tailed beast." Jiraiya ended his information bomb. "This is troubling news Jiraiya, why didn't u bring this up to the council!" Danzo said as a little bit of K.I. leaked. Jiraiya just scoffed and said," HN, I doubt that you even disbanded Root despite sensei's order. Its probably in the shadows are not showing, I mean, I never saw any root ANBU during the invasion, heck I never even saw u." Danzo's visible eye widened, but he looked away, shutting up and not saying anything. "anyways, I have to research, adios!" Jiraiya said as he kicked the door again and out he went. "The meeting is Adjorned!" said Koharu as the elders went back to their houses. The foundation for Danzo to be exact. "I really need a spy in root for me to do my investigation on Danzo" Jiraiya sighed knowing that that bastard is going to destroy Konoha one day again.
