Harry growled, his back against the floor as he was pinned by one Peggy Carter, who thoroughly proving to them that you didn't need a serum or magic to kick ass. And that's what she did. She proved her point by kicking his ass, spinning him into the floor before pinning him every time. You would thing Harry would have learned by now, but nope. He was a bit slow when it came to physical training like that. After relying on his magic for so long, fighting hand-to-hand was a bit difficult. Though even Peggy had admitted he was getting much better compared to the beginning of the week. Instead of lasting two seconds against her, he now lasted five. She really did love to tease him about it during lunch hours.
Erskine had let Peggy handle Harry's assessment and testing, his aged eyes watching Steve Rogers, gauging the man's heart and inner strength and whether he was fit to take the serum. Steve had been faring well in the week that had passed. While he was not doing anywhere near as well in physical tests like Harry or the others, he was showing his wit and intelligence everyday through use of unique strategy and bravery. Even jumping on top of a dumby grenade before Harry and Peggy got the chance to take a step. Steve had shown his usefulness to Philips, who had conceded to let the young man take the serum directly after Harry, who had been given the go-ahead to take it first to ensure it wouldn't kill Rogers or any future candidate.
Peggy had been helping Harry a great deal through the week, helping him in not only combat training but in magical assessments as well. Gauging where his powers were and how they would be effected by the base serum. The two had been together through most of the week, discussing different subjects that interested them while they weren't working. Harry had questioned why she didn't take the serum, learning that she hadn't been offered a position due to the fact she wasn't 'Project Rebirth material'. Harry had tried to use his rank to change that, but was quickly informed that given how he wasn't in any way in charge of Project Rebirth or the S.S.R, he had no authority to authorize such a change. And so, Peggy was left as an Agent of the S.S.R, instead of being a taker of the serum.
Shaking his head, Harry tapped the mat three times, taking in a deep breath as Peggy got off of him. Clutching his chest, Harry gave her a mock hurt look, before being helped up. "I'm surprised. You lasted two seconds longer this time," Peggy spoke with a grin, wiping a bit of dust off his shoulder before stepping away from Harry and moving towards the bench. She grabbed the two water jugs there, tossing one to Harry that he easily caught. After a few seconds of silent drinking, Harry wiped his mouth, rolling his eyes. "Wow. Seven seconds, I'm so happy," Harry said sarcastically.
"Better than last time," Peggy said as she placed the jug back onto the bench, taking a seat as Harry did the same.
"A five second increase is nothing to be sad about, I guess," Harry replied, grinning as he turned to her, the two exchanging a brief look before turning towards the door, which swung open to reveal Steve, who fell into the training center wearing his full uniform. The man was catching his breath, falling onto the mat as his helmet clattered onto the ground. Harry wasted no time, apparating to his friend's side as he knelt down, Peggy moving to Steve's other side a few moments later. "Hey, buddy. What happened?"
"T...T...Two. L...la...laps," Steve replied between breaths. Harry looked up at Peggy, who frowned. "Philips had them running laps around the river. Eleven miles from here to there," She spoke. Harry's eyes narrowed in anger, his gaze falling on Steve, who was clutching his chest. Placing a hand on Steve's shoulder, a wave of black spread through him, reaching his heart as it passed throughout every organ and blood cell. Steve's breathing regulated, his symptoms clearing as Harry got to his feet, clenching his fists in anger. "Stay with him. I have a court-martial waiting for me," Harry spoke, moving out of the training facility as Peggy nodded, helping Steve to his feet as Harry ran through the base.
He could feel the magic in him coursing, draining the limitless ley lines for more power as he ran faster and faster. Approaching the base's head building, he slowed to a stop, busting through the door as he marched to Philip's office. Barging into the office, Harry set his eyes on Colonel Philip's, who was writing something at his desk. At Harry's entrance, he looked up, scowling at the fact it was Harry who was in his office. "What do you want, Pot-" Philip's growled, clenching his fists as he looked up once more. "General?"
"You just concluded a physical exercise, correct?"
"Yes,"
"And Cadet Rogers was present for this exercise?"
"That is correct,"
"Why?"
"Excuse me?" Philips questioned, his fists turning purple.
"Due to Cadet Rogers specific circumstances, he is unable to meet certain...expectations you seem to think are important. A letter from the physician back at Stark Expo has excused Cadet Rogers from excess physical training. While the basic exercises performed at the beginning of this week were acceptable, this new exercise of yours is unacceptable," Harry explained. "His medical conditions can kill him, Colonel. And I would be very angry if Rogers was to pass away due to your stupidity and need to prove a point. Given how this is our last night here, Cadet Rogers will be exempt from further physical training. Is this understood?"
"On whose orders?" Philips asked, getting to his feet.
"Mine. You seem to forget that I outrank you Colonel. While I have no authority within the S.S.R or Project Rebirth, I have authority within the U.S Army, in which you are a member. So, I ask again. Am I understood?" Harry asked. Philip's narrowed his eyes, his fists red as he leaned down on the table, glaring at Harry in anger. After a few minutes of angry staring Philip's ground out a simple 'understood'. Harry nodded, spinning around before storming out of the room, doing his best Snape impression as he returned to the training facility. There Peggy was sitting beside Steve, who was silently taking gulps of water as he leaned back, still recovering from the twenty-two mile run. "Are you ok there, Steve?"
"Yeah...yeah...maybe not..." Steve replied, clutching his knee.
"Well, I talked to Philip's. You're exempt from the last training exercise occurring tonight. You'll need a night of rest before tomorrow," Harry informed. Steve looked up, an expression of thankfulness crossing over his face as Peggy smiled warmly towards Harry, who nodded. Not a fan of the attention, Harry coughed, scratching the back of his neck before turning towards the door, which opened as a few troops entered for training, no doubt to stay on the grind for the night exercise. "Come on. Let's go get a drink," Harry spoke, moving to Steve's side as he helped the man to his feet.
"I can walk," Steve spoke, slowly moving away from Harry, who frowned. "You sure?" Steve nodded, thanking the wizard as the three slowly moved out of the building, keeping up with Steve as he slowly recovered his ability to stand. The three moved into the local bar, taking a seat at the bar itself as Harry ordered whiskeys for himself and Peggy, and a club soda for Steve, who given his non-magical anatomy needed no fluids the night before the serum infusion. Harry took a seat on the right stool, Peggy sitting in the middle while Steve sat on the left. When they got their drinks, Peggy spoke. "What do you plan to do? After you take the serum that is. I doubt Philip's would want you around for too long,"
"I don't know...my serum's done, so I don't have to worry about not taking it. Once I get my memories back...I'll follow whatever it is I left encoded within them, going wherever the information takes me," Harry replied with a frown, taking a drink. "What about you two?"
"Well...Buck's in the 107th. If I can I'll try to get transferred over. It would be fun to be able to work with him and his buddies. I hear they have a fun time when they're off the field," Steve spoke. "If that doesn't happen...well, I'll be serving my country as a super soldier. Putting an end to the war,"
"And you, Peggy?" Harry asked.
"I don't know...perhaps I'll be transferred onto the field to supervise you two. After all, you can't be left alone, so the two of you -" Peggy was cut off as Harry's chair spun around. "Hello handsome," A brown-haired S.S.R recruit spoke, bending over in front of him as her face appeared inches from his. Her bent over position made her cleavage more apparent in her buttoned-up shirt, as well as displayed her amazing figure and round ass. Her hands caressed his shoulders, her lips finding his as the two kissed. Harry grinned, returning it as his hand grabbed her side, the kiss lasting a good minute before a cough ran through the bar. Harry separated himself from the female recruit, turning to find Peggy, who had her lips pressed against her glass as she faced the bar. "Wanna get out of here?" The female recruit asked, her hand moving through his hair as Steve watched them with a raised eyebrow.
"Umm...I...would like to politely decline," Harry replied. The brunette frowned, turning to face Peggy. "I see...she's better than me?" It was clear this woman was drunk, given her uneven balance, the unevenness in her speech, as well as he forwardness. Peggy glanced towards Harry, something he ignored as Harry frowned. "I would say its a fact that she is. Now please, I ask you refrain from embarrassing yourself further and leave us be," Harry spoke. The brunette roller her eyes, her finger poking his chest as she leaned in.
"One day...you're gonna regret..." The brunette fell over, slamming into the wall before falling back out of the bar, never finishing her sentence as Harry raised an eyebrow. He turned back to the two and found two reactions. Steve's eyebrow was still raised, looking towards the door, no doubt wondering what the strange brunette was gonna say. And Peggy was grinning, taking a sip of her glass as she glanced down at the bar. Smiling, Harry spun his chair back around, wiping his mouth from the girl's lipstick as he took another drink. He glanced towards Peggy, who was watching him with a smile. Something told him he'd made the right call there. Though his other head was chastising him for not making the other choice. Oh well.

Harry, Peggy, and Steve stood in the center of Manhattan, hidden within a small S.S.R facility where the serum infusion lab was located. The three were ready for the real reason they were here. The serum infusion. Harry's eyes fell on the Veta-Ray table, which was opened to reveal a number of needles that would inject the needles into his veins. The needles were all connected to liquid vials, all of which had been filled with Harry's own serum. Harry pulled off his shirt, handing it over to Steve, who accepted it as Harry turned to Abraham Erskine, who smiled and nodded towards the table. He moved towards the table, climbing onto it as Abraham injected him with a dose of penicillin. Before Howard Stark could close the chamber, Peggy stepped forward, placing a hand on the table. "Be careful, Harry. If it becomes too much...we'll shut it off,"
"I know, Peggy. I know," Harry spoke with a smile. She nodded, smiling in return as she stepped away. Taking a deep breath, the needles surrounding him moved closer, inserting themselves through his skin as his own serum was pumped into his veins. The chamber around him slowly slid shut, leaving Harry in total darkness as muffled voices spoke from the outside. "Do you hear me? Is this on? Ladies and gentlemen, today we take not another step towards annihilation, but the first step on the path to peace. We begin with a series of micro injections into the subjects major muscle groups. The serum infusion will cause immediate cellular change. And then to stimulate growth, the subject will be saturated with Vita-Rays," Abraham explained to the committee of individuals in the top room. "We will proceed," Howard Stark nodded, and proceeded towards the control desk. He flipped some switches, turned some knobs, and turned some dials, before turning to a small wheel. Stark grabbed onto it, and began to slowly turn.
Harry growled, white light and energy flowing through the chamber as it seeped deep within his muscles, mixing together with his serum as his eyes went wide. A spatial rift appeared in front of him, a thin white cord stretching from his navel to the rift. Another gate to the Zeroverse. Taking a deep breath, Harry did what he had to do to get what he needed. "That's ten percent. Twenty percent. Thirty. That's 40 %. That's 50 %. Sixty. Seventy!" Howard called out, continuing to turn the wheel as everyone within the facility stood still with apprehension of what could happen. Abraham gripped his microphone, Steve leaned against the wall anxiously, and Peggy gripped the railing at the top of the nearby steps, peering down at the machine with a worried expression. Howard continued. "Eighty...Ninety...One hundred percent!" After a few seconds of humming from the machine, Howard hit the kill-switch, the pod going dark immediately as it descended.
"Open it, Mr. Stark," Abraham spoke. Howard nodded, pressing the green button on the console as the pod hissed, slowly opening to find a large amount of vapor. The vapor spread out, hitting the floor as the form of Harry Potter became more clear. He was sweating, his height increased by a few inches as his much more muscular body fell forward, slamming onto the floor as everyone close rushed forward. "Harrison. Are you alright?" Abraham asked, helping a dazed Harry to a kneeling position as Peggy rushed forward, dropping down as she grabbed hold of his shoulder, balancing him as her other hand rested on his chest. "Yeah...yeah. I'm alright," Harry replied with a nod, breathing heavily as he looked up. He could remember everything.
"How do you feel?" Peggy questioned.
"Tired...taller...better. I remember," Harry answered.
"You mean...it worked? You got your memories back?" Howard asked.
"I did...I remember everything," He flexed his hand, peering towards Steve as he got to his feet. The shorter man, nodded, moving forward as he took a seat on the now horizontal table. Harry was escorted away with the help of Peggy and an S.S.R agent, who helped him up the steps and out of the room. They entered an office at the end of the hall, with Harry stumbling into a seat as he clutched his forehead, shaking himself as he tried to regain his ability to function properly. The agent left, leaving Peggy and Harry alone as she kneeled down in front of him, grabbing his head as she pointed a light into his eyes. They were a darker shade of emerald from before. "You're eyes...they're darker," Peggy pointed out.
"Side effect of my memory dump. Now I don't only have my own terrible past, I have my other terrible past," Harry replied, his breathing having regulated as he continuously took deep breaths. "I remember it all, Peggy. My birth...my childhood...Tom...I remember what I left behind," He spoke softly, his gaze falling on her as she did the same. After a minute, Harry took a deep breath, turning away as he conjured himself a shirt, one he put on before getting to his feet. "I need to get out of here. I need to find it before something happens,"
"Find what? Where? You can't leave now, we need to run tests to make sure the -"
"The serum worked perfectly, Peg. I made it. I need to go back to the castle. I'll find what I'm looking for there," Harry cut off, his hand rested on her shoulder. Smiling Harry moved towards the door. Taking a look at his watch, Harry waited exactly four seconds before kicking the door off its hinges. It slammed into a man running passed the door, sending him into the wall as the vial of blue liquid he was holding fell to the ground, shattering as the liquid spilt. He cast a cleaning charm at it, the serum disappearing as the man groaned in pain. Harry moved out of the room, moving past the man as he moved for the exit. Peggy peered down at the lone man as Steve ran into the hallway. He was no longer the scrawny and short man she and Harry had seen a few minutes before, now he was tall, muscular, and was on a mission. "Where'd he go?" Steve asked.
"Under the door," Peggy replied casually, watching Harry exit the facility.
"Where's he going?" Steve asked.
"Somewhere important. He's going back to Hogwarts," Peggy answered, a frown taking over her features as Steve easily picked up the door pinning down the injured HYDRA soldier. "Erskine's gone. Murdered," Steve spoke quietly, gripping the unconscious spy as Peggy's eyes widened. She turned and ran towards the exit, hoping to catch up to Harry before he could get too far. She exited the shop, stepping onto the sidewalk as she examined the entire street. Harry was gone, having almost vanished from the plane of the Earth...odd.
June 22nd, 1943 ~ Multiverse ~ Sector 31.199999-A ~ Hogwarts
Harry Potter arrived within the ruins of a mystical castle, one that no longer held any magic or life whatsoever. The life that did accompany the castle was within the forest. Where Harry Potter's treasure awaited him. Stepping out of what he knew was the Great Hall, he moved into the Grand Staircases, finding only rubble and old paintings long frozen in time, the ghostly figures within them still with death as petrified expressions overtook them. Reigning in his grief, Harry stepped into the Quad, finding more rubble and dirt. He pushed further, moving pasted the middle courtyard as he passed the old Greenhouses, which had been overtaken by overgrown magical plant life as well as more rubble.
Taking a step down the path leading to Hagrid's old hut, Harry was reminded of his distant past, remembering his minuscule adventures that seemed so large and important at the time. Now though...now the civil war seemed meaningless. Nothing. A small spec on his life that was so distant from his present that he almost didn't care...almost. His feet carried him into the Forbidden Forest, stepping over overgrown stumps and weeds as he ventured towards his death. He thought it had been the end for him so long ago. If only his seventeen-year-old self could have known Harry Potter couldn't die. It was a known rule in the Omniverse. That all Death's both loved and hated him. It sucked being famously known.
Crouching down in the center of the forest, Harry's hand drifted down, clasping a handful of leaves that he picked up. He held the leaves in his hand, closing his eyes as the leaves suddenly shifted, growing smaller and rougher. Opening his eyes, Harry examined the artifact in his grasp. The Resurrection Stone. Preserved and hidden in the forest by this universe's Harry Potter. Harry gripped it, clenching his fist as the Stone cracked, shattering as black shards of stone fell from his hand onto the ground. Opening his hand once more, Harry was met with something great. A glowing orange gem that glowed brightly within his hand. The Soul Gem. Hidden in plain sight among the magicals of Earth. It seemed it was tethered to Vormir, which would explain why you could retrieve the Gem from there. Clutching it fiercely, his eyes closed once more, opening again seconds later to find himself in a dark abyss, surrounded by a round table. Shit.
"Harry...Potter," The man in question turned towards the voice, finding three entities waiting for him. Infinity, Entropy, and Eternity. Infinity was an orange, yellow, and black female figure with a white gem in her forehead. Eternity was a large male figure with a body made of galaxies and stars, horns protruding from his back as he wore a crown. And Entropy was a white male figure with a torso made of galaxies and stars like Eternity, four horns spreading from his skull. The three were all watching Harry, Infinity having spoken. "You've obtained four of the seven Infinity Gems. You have replaced the three you stole, but have yet to do so for the fourth. You are treading dangerous territories Potter,"
"I am aware," Harry replied.
"Your predecessor was a pain, though you are a continuous thorn in our side. Your arrival within our universe resulted in a cataclysmic change within our greater Multiverse, shifting everything. While your changes now are forgiven due to the unevenness of the future, future actions may hold dire consequences. Beware of your actions, Potter. For one wrong move can result in your expulsion," Eternity spoke. Harry nodded, bowing his head as Entropy sighed. "Stay on guard, Harry. The changes brought forth by your arrival will bring new threats and new allies. Stay out of trouble, and avoid giving out too much information regarding the future. The already fragile timeline cannot take more pressure,"
"I understand," Harry spoke. When he looked up again, he was back in the forest. Peering down at the Soul Gem once more, Harry clutched it, closing his eyes. He needed to think.
