BACK IN ACTION! After a little long absence, we are back with the chapter 4 of this fanfic, homage to Super Smash Bros Ultimate! As no new users have joined the battle we are going right now to the chapter! This time we are going to take a detour of the main story but with a good reason, a homage to the 3 biggest fighting games on history, which are…. Well, you know it xD, enjoy the chapter!

Episode 4: The South Town
The 2 warriors were running full speed, noticing the fire from the distance, both with same uniform with different colors, one with white suit and brownish hair while the other had a red suit and being blonde, the two looked like they were having a rush
-Damn, just when I thought that I would have the time for my long awaited rematch, this happens.
-Calm down Ken, besides we don't know what exactly is happening there yet.
-If you ask me, it looks like an immense fire out there, Ryu.
-I know, but what in the world can produce something like this?
-Akuma?
Ryu denied with the head -No, he is not even here on this strange world.
-What can be on this world? Fighters were appearing outta nowhere hey, even some from the same apparent world- but at once, both Ryu and Ken stopped near a cliff, there it was, a whole city on fire, maybe not literally, but lots of people were running to remain safe, screams were noticeable and explosions too –Well, I think that maybe I answered my own question.
-Why is Terry's city under attack, and who could have made this?
Ken with a smile on his face, that was followed by Ryu, punched his two hands –You know that there is only one way to find out, Let's go!
"Stage 4: South Town in flames"
Just arriving to the city, the two warriors noticed the problem, lots of purple humanoid creatures were destroying the city and attacking anyone that was in front of them
-What in the world is that?!- Ken asked
-Attack now, questions later!
Defending the citizen, Ryu and Ken started to throw kicks and punches to the faceless creatures that tried to counter attack at first, but the duo was just too powerful for them
-Hadouken!
-Shoryuken!
It was easy on the early stages, Ken noticed it
-Those guys are not that strong!
But Ryu looked at other direction, more of them were coming and really fast
-Be careful, they are weak but also numerous, Shakunetsu!- the fire ball hit one of them but the others avoided the attack
Fighting with some distance was the strategy for them at first, but attacking with pure energy was not getting the expected results, as they started to receive hit
-Ken, your hand!
Ryu took his partner hand and started to spin with him, Ken was kicking all the enemies thanks to this but after 3 spins they had to continue the attack
-There are a lot of them! - Ken yelled
-If only we had the energy of the Smash Ball here…!
But as they were getting surrounded by the enemies, a miracle…
-Power Geyser!
An explosion at one side that distracted the enemies, advantage that Ken and Ryu took to get rid of the others that were coming, for now that was it and such a relief, coming from the explosion a warrior that looked similar to keen, except for using a jacket, cap and jeans, and maybe a little taller
-Phew, thanks lord reinforcements finally came, I was unable to find any of my comrades, let alone another fighter from my world.
-Terry- Ken clapped his hand with the other from the lone wolf –it's a pleasure to meet you again.
-How any of this is happening? - Ryu asked
-I'm not the one to answer that, sadly, these creatures just came in and then I was fighting for my life- Terry looked around –Tried to call my friends but no answers, maybe they are still as spirits well, most of them.
As he started to walk, both Ryu and Ken followed him, the red suited one asked –Most of them?
-One of them answered, she received a visit from an old rival and then boom.
-Hmmm, seems to me that we know who are you talking about…- but then Ryu noticed something, a sound coming from a roof
-What's wrong? - Ken asked
Ryu shook his head –I thought that there was someone there- and pointed on the roof
-Hopefully on our side- but as Terry was saying that, more creatures appeared –Damn these guys just don't give up.
-Where do we have to go? - Ryu asked
-She told me that the two were on the City Mall, but with all of these…- then Terry noticed something, both his colleagues too, the creatures stopped, then splitting in two groups, someone was coming –What the hell?
The other two warriors also noticed him, Ken smiled –Well, maybe that explains why there is so much fire on here.
As the one approaching stopped, now he was noticeable, using a high school student uniform and a white bandana on his head, the brown short haired warrior was standing, with fire on his hand and with an angry face
-Kyo Kusanagi, why?
-I'm sorry to you three, but I've seen his power- Kyo said
"Welcome! Kyo Kusa nagi from The King of Fighters"
-His power? - the other 3 asked
Kyo nodded –Is futile to fight back, this is bigger than any of us.
Ryu tried to notice something on his words, he was able to do it –Brainwashed, the Kyo Kusanagi that we knew before was petulant yes, but not someone that gives up- and looked at his clothes and skin –You fought back, and lost.
-Kyo, please hear me, we don't want to hurt you- Terry tried to put him on his senses
-Not necessary- The younger one threw a fire flame that Terry with his power dispelled –I have to stop you.
But before Ken or Terry could attack, Ryu gave a step in front –I will gladly accept you challenge.
-What?- Ken asked
-Don't worry, Ken, Terry, go on to the city mall, I will take care on Kyo.
The blonde warrior nodded and run away, but Kyo was not willing to let them go –Like I will allow it…
Ryu took advantage of his distraction and tried to punch him on the guts, Kyo covered and like that, the battle started

Both clashed punches but Kyo took advantage by using his fire, hurting Ryu in the process, but the eternal challenger would not hesitate for that

Flying kick to Ryu and then another one that sent him to the floor, but with a kip up he would recover, Kyo tried to punch him but this time he was the one that received whirling kick, and then avoided an uppercut
The Kusanagi guardian then would start to charge some energy, but Ryu stopped him with a punch that Kyo protected himself, took Ryu from his arm and tackled him, sending Ryu to the floor
-Damn, he became stronger since the first time we fought.
-And you haven't seen anything- after finally getting enough energy, Kyo raised one hand and turned it on fire –Receive this, Shiki Orochinagi!
Barely avoided but still Ryu received some flames, but on a moment, his head was starting to hurt him
-The Satsui no Hadou is your chance…
-No, is not enough, I can win this…
Determined himself to the victory, Ryu prepared his hadouken well, one of the most specials
-Playing fire with fire then, Shakunetsu!
Kyo just punched the fire ball –Come on, I'm the fire master here!
-But you still lack on concentration, Tatsumaki Senpuu Kyaku!
Direct to the face, finally being able to send Kyo to the floor, but when he tried to catch him, Kyo gave Ryu a head-butt, taking him to the ground and landing an elbow strike, again, the voice was invading Ryu psyche but he decided not to let it win, his current opponent was watching him with absolute confidence
-Don't let me down Ryu, it has been years since out last fight.
-I know, but here the circumstances are special- Ryu put himself on guard –But still, I just can't give up.
Kyo gave him a smirk, charged but Ryu took advantage, avoided the incoming punch, taking Kyo from the shoulders and sending him to Ryu's backside with a rolling kick, as Kyo was just recovering, Ryu was ready
-Hadouken!
The attack landed, and sent Kyo to the floor, it was on that moment when a dark aura appeared on his body, Ryu noticed his eyes, were turning red, the eternal challenger concentrated
-A corruption, it can explain your behavior, Kyo Kusanagi, I will save you.
But no answer coming from him, just charging to prepare an attack, his powerful Shiki Orochinagi once more, Ryu knew that, so he had to move, fast enough to arrive to his opponent and land a ferocious punch in the guts, and then the final blow
-Come to your senses now, Shoryuken!
A jaw shattering hit that sent Kyo pretty high before landing to the floor, unconscious for some seconds, the aura was disappearing, something that gave Ryu some relief
-Phew, you gave it your all.
GAME!
Ryu took Kyo from the hand and helped him to recover, once Kyo was fully conscious, he realized what happened
-God… I'm just a stupid.
-Don't feel bad, sometimes we let the worst of us to take control, but it is on us to stop it, but if we can't, there is always someone that can help.
-And that one this time was you- both clapped the other's hand –Long time since our last encounter, is good to see you again, Ryu.
-Same for me, but now we don't have time…- the two warrior noticed that the humanoid creatures were starting to appear on the zone once more –Do you still have stamina?
-A lot!- as that, the two came back to fight
But on the roofs, someone was looking at them –Fighters here have their honor, on my world honor is defined for not leaving anything of the opponent, I have to move, need to activate it now.

As Ken and Terry were dealing Burn Knuckles and Shoryukens to the humanoids, the city mall was becoming closer
-Here we are! - Ken said
-Hopefully we are not late, or even worse?
-Worse?
After what Ken asked, a fire and a blue energy balls hit the two warriors, they knew who the attackers were
-Like what was just happening with Kyo, is the same for them!
In front of the blonde warriors, two brown haired, beautiful but strong ladies appeared, one with blue Chinese uniform and 2 pompoms on her hair, the other using a not so classic red kunoichi suit and having her long hair on a ponytail
-Sorry for disappointing you Terry…
-But we are going to kick your butts!
"Welcome! Mai Shiranui from Fatal Fury and Chun Li from Street Fighters!"
Ken looked really frustrated –What a shame, fighting against friends that somehow became our enemies.
As the humanoids were coming closer, Mai stopped them with a hand gesture, the humanoids then left the battlefield
-Is a personal thing, not to give you advantage- the kunoichi said
-Well, is better for us, we were getting tired- Terry smiled –Come on.
"Unlocking Tag Battle: Ken/Terry vs Mai/Chun-Li"
"Ready? GO!"
Ken launched first to the battle –Tatsumaki Senpuu Kyaku!
But Chun-Li intercepted him –Spinning Bird Kick!
The foot of the two clashed but Chun Li was better at kicking than Ken, the attack sent him to the ground so Terry had to come to the rescue, the police avoided his punch but Mai then attacked her brother in law with a flying elbow
-Andy is going to be really angry when he learns about this…- Terry said
-Or maybe happy once he knows that I beat you…
-Shoryuken!- Ken almost landed his fire uppercut on Mai, as that, the two sides were face to face again –Want to change opponents?
-Maybe later, I think that this is becoming personal.
The code of a fighter, Ken himself needed to make clear that he was the strongest warrior in the world aside of Ryu and maybe Akuma, but that position was always in jeopardy due to Chun-Li, as that the two team splitted and Ken wanted to attack at close range
-Hadouken!
-Kikohen!
The two energy spheres clashed and the two street fighters took the other from the arms, which was something that Chun-Li lacked in comparison of Ken, the blonde fighter took her from the shoulders and after spinning once on the ground, sent her flying some distance with a kick on the guts
-Get serious Chun-Li!
But Ken said this while recovering, once he got up, he received the first of a lot of incoming kicks
-I'm always serious, Jyakuretsuken!- 6 consecutive kicks that almost sent her rival to the ground
On the other hand, Terry was dealing with a more difficult battle but not exactly because his opponent was more powerful than Chun Li, Mai was his sister in law and he was already fighting for a longer time than his comrades, so he was avoiding some attacks and trying to land once he felt necessary
-As you always say Terry, Come on!- Mai took one of her loyal fans ready to hit –Kachousen!
The lone wolf avoided again, but felt the hardness of Mai's elbow directly on the face, Terry tried to resist, but Mai followed with her spinning attack
-Ryu Enbu!- a hard hit using one of the spheres on her suit, engulfed in flames, that one truly sent him to the ground –The legendary lone wolf is disappointing me, what could Mary and Rock say if the see you like that!
Just hearing that lit something on Terry who, without Mai being able to avoid, recovered really fast
-Power Geyser! - The attack sent Mai flying some meters while screaming –Don't mention them like that, whatever is happening to you Mai, I'm not going to let you speak rubbish!
-Great, that's the Terry Bogard that I know!... Ouch that hurts.
-Burn Knuckle!
-Hisatsu Shinobi Bachi!
Both the punch and the elbow clashed, but Mai took the advantage to jump, taking Terry from his shoulders and launching him to the ground like a catapult, but as Mai was ready to stab him with her knees, Terry avoided the attack and launched one of his own
-Power Dunk!
Directly on Mai's forehead, for the moment that battle was becoming more equilibrated as the other, Ken had some problems dealing with Chun's kicks but at one moment he took her from the leg
-What?
-Take this!
On the other side, Terry landed a Burn Knuckle to Mai, making both ladies to hit their back, but as the blonde warriors were approaching, the ladies were too
-Chou Hisastsu Shinobi Bachi
-Shichisei Senku Kyaku!
2 powerful attacks, a fire flying elbow and a flying kick direct to their opponents' chests, it could have been over but both Ken and Terry were really prideful for that
-Damn these ladies are though- Ken said while gasping
-Once this fight is over, we will not have enough energy to fight these repugnant creatures- Terry was trying to recover too
But then Ken had an idea –Hey Bogard…
-What now, Masters?
-Time to move!
The two went again to charge against the ladies, Mai and Chun Li were waiting but then something that they didn't expect, as their opponents were switching sides
-What?!- both said
-Hadouken!- direct attack from the energy ball to Mai
-Power wave!- Chun Li legs were affected by that
It was a good idea but then, both Ken and Terry noticed that the ladies were being surrounded by a dark aura, it could mean one thing
-We are getting closer, Ken.
-Time to finish this, Terry! - Both Mai and Chun-Li charged –Wait for it…
But as the ladies got close enough, it was time for the final blow, Ken landed a huge fire uppercut to Mai's jaw and Terry an explosive punch to Chun-Li's guts
-Shoryuken!
-Buster Wolf!
It was their defeat, the blonde warriors were victorious but with a high price to pay, specially Terry that, after landing that attack, felt to the ground, almost unconscious, Ken just sit, still gasping
-What a rough fight- the street fighter said
-Yeah… it was, maybe I need some rest- Terry said with a smile
"GAME!"
But after some minutes just finishing the fight, Ken witnessed in horror how the creatures were approaching, not so many but still, he had to stand up and use as much energy as he had left
-Hey Bogard, stand up, we still have to fight…
It was something unpleasant for the wolf, but he had to try –What a disgrace- it was difficult for him, but then a miracle –What?
-Kachousen!
-Kikohen!
Thankfully for both Ken and Terry, Mai and Chun-li appeared to attack and get rid of the attackers, whatever happened to them, it was dispelled now, Mai was the first one on approaching them
-Terry, are you ok?
-That's my line… but now with you two back on our side, I am… By the way you took back that suit from years ago.
It was a variant of Mai's classic suit, as the kunoichi smiled back, Chun-li approached visibly ashamed
-I don't know how to explain this, but we can't, we just appeared here and then heard a voice…
-Is ok Chun, we will deal with it later- Ken said
Ryu and Kyo approached to the group, the eternal challenger smiled –So, everyone is here now.
Kyo noticed both Ken and Terry –In bad shape it seems.
Chun Li took the word –We need to recover energy somehow.
Terry nodded –Yeah, this fight is taking forever, and we are only 6 for now.
Mai looked at the City Mall –It must be empty now, if you want we can eat something there.
The Chinese was not pleased by hearing that -Ey, that's stealing, you know!
-French Fries here I come! —Terry took whatever energy he had left to eat
-If there are some pizzas there, I will eat them gladly! - Ken also run into the building
-Hey, don't discard me for eating some hamburguers!- Kyo joined the party
Something that took Chun Li by surprise, and even more by watching Ryu walking inside –You too?
-Honestly? Right now we are on a war, so even I need some food.
Looking him entering, made Chun Li open her jaw wide, Mai was just laughing –Take it easy my lady, you also need to eat a little.
-Just my luck- after knowing that it was more a thing of necessity, Chun Li and Mai entered on the City Mall

Moments later, inside of the food court of the city mall, the restaurants were open, giving the warriors the advantage of taking whatever they could to eat, Kyo, Ken and Terry were happy eating lots of fast food, on the other table, Mai was looking at them smiling, Chun Li ashamed, while Ryu was just eating calmly
-If they eat that fast, it would not be beneficial for them- he said
-I agree, and also the fact that their fighting potential can end up being ruined- Chun Li was surprised by Mai as the kunoichi gave her a French fry
-You two need to recover energies too- and gave another for Ryu –This is also for you.
-Thanks- the eternal challenger said after taking the fry, the police did the same but without saying anything
But then something came to Ryu's mind, the air was getting heavy, then he looked at the glass roof upside of them, something really big was coming
-Everyone, move out!
If it wasn't for Ryu's advice, the giant robot could have crushed everyone, but the fall itself destroyed a huge part of the building. Leaving the guys at one side and the girls on the other
The robotic creature was humongous, like 2 sides of the same coin and on the same wheel, the blue one had blades on its arms, and the other 2 giant cannons
-What the hell is that thing?!- Kyo asked
-I don't know, but it seems that we have another problem to solve…- Ken couldn't figure out before, but the 4 warriors were being surrounded by fire –And this now?
Terry then felt some steps coming from the other side of the fire –We are not alone with this thing.
As Terry, Kyo, Ken and Ryu were looking behind them, a long chain appeared, taking Ryu from the arm and pulling him to the fire…
-What…?
-GET OVER HERE!
Being taken from his fore head, Ryu was surprised by another warrior, yellow was predominant on his suit, and with a style reminiscent of a ninja, using a mask that was only leaving his eyes not covered
-So you're the one behind all of this madness! - Ken screamed
-Not really, but I'm doing part of the job…
"Welcome! Scorpion from Mortal Kombat"
Ryu started to scream, a dark energy was surrounding him, making him shake like a possession was taking place, then the yellow suited warrior left him on the floor, Kyo and Terry were not sure wat was going on, but Ken was, as Ryu's aspect was becoming more and more dark
-Satsui no Hadou, godammit- Ken said
And it was, Evil Ryu appeared and after slamming his feet on the floor, he screamed –Time to let darkness destroy everything!
Kyo just smiled –So, 3 vs 2 is going to be, I wonder if Mai and Chun Li are going to do a good job with the giant robot.
As the sounds coming from what it seemed from a started battle were appearing, Terry smiled –They will do it fine, have faith.
-Time to rescue my rival and friend- Ken added
"Unlocking tag battle: Kyo/Terry/Ken vs Ryu/Scorpion"
"Ready? GO!"
The blonde ones went for the possessed warrior, while Kyo jumped directly against the ninja, who from his sleeve took a sword, ready to stab him
-Oh damn! - part of his suit was ruined, and Kyo couldn't stop, as he had to avoid other stab attempts, but then a hit direct on the head from a nunchaku and an elbow direct to the face –You're not going to be easy.
-And you are becoming disappointing, Come Here!
Kyo took the advantage from that hook coming to him, as he took it from the chain, he launched himself with a flying kick on a direct attack to Scorpion's face, but it wouldn't be enough, the ninja answered with a heavy punch on the face, and then both clashed on fire punches
On the other hand, while fighting again as a team, dealing with a Ryu possessed by the power of the Satsui no Hadou was not an easy task, as he was faster, avoiding the hits from his opponents pretty easily and when Ken or Terry were approaching, Ryu received them with heavy punches
-Go Hadou!- a dark energy sphere landed on Ken, terry wanted to counter but Ryu was near to unstoppable -!Go Shoryu!
Direct on his jaw, Ken had to catch him on air so Terry couldn't land on the floor, the lone wolf shook his head
-Without recovering all of our energy, this version of Ryu is going to be even more difficult!
-Trying to put him on his senses is not going to work, at least for us, trust me.
-Then who can?
No time to answer, as Ryu charged once more against them with full speed, being imbued on the Satsui no Hadou was an unfair advantage on this situation
-Fight back now! - he screamed
-Ken, give me the chance, maybe I can knock him!
-I will try! - Masters run directly to his friend, trying to punch him –Come to your senses now!
Ryu avoided the punch and gave a punch with full strength to the guts, but then Ken smiled, and took his friend from the two arms
-What are you trying now, Ken? - Ryu asked
-Trying to save you, stupid, Terry now!
Having doubts as the attack could also end up affecting Ken, Terry had to do it –Sorry for this pal, Buster Wolf!

Terry joined him ready to fight the ninja, but then the lone wolf noticed something really bad, the Satsui no Hadou was keeping Ryu on the battle
-Shit, this has no end…- Terry said, but the explosions and screams on the other side of the fire meant one thing… -But Mai and Chun Li are still fighting, we can't give up just yet- he was also ready for a heavy attack, charging all of his energy
-Hey Bogard, wanna make a little change?
Terry smiled, and alongside Kyo went to the fight, the Kusanagi guardian was going for Scorpion but then
-Shiki Orochinagi! - the flame went towards Ryu who was surprised by it, but still wanting to go
-Gaia's Power! - Terry jumped directly to Scorpion, but he was received by a stab, direct to the chest, but still landed the hit directly on the face
During the process of the attack, the dark aura was appearing on Scorpion, but the Gaia's power blue energy attack was lasting so much that it eventually disappeared…
On the other side Kyo witnessed in horror how Ryu was still on his feet –I defeated even Omega Rugal with this, but you turned into a different type of monster!
The situation couldn't get worse, even if Ryu was injured too, Terry felt to the ground, with a wound on his chest, Scorpion was approaching to Kyo, who was not knowing what to do
-Well Iori, if you still want another rematch against me, this is a good moment to appear outta nowhere as you always do…- but then a surprise, the yellow suited ninja took his chain, catching Ryu from the throat and using it to give even more strength to an elbow strike on the face, knocking him out for good –Well… that works too.
Before Scorpion could say anything, he had to take Terry from his arm –Kid, Move out!
Something was falling towards them, but once avoided, Kyo couldn't feel but to say –Thanks… I suppose.
GAME!
….
But what was happening on the other side? The giant double robot was cornering the ladies on a space that was already kind of short due to the wall of fire on one side of the food court, Mai was a little afraid because of this
-I… I have never fought against something this big.
-Me neither Shiranui, but it seems that we are not going to have back up, we are on our own.
The kunoichi nodded –Yeah, let's show what we got.
The humongous robot then screamed, indicating that it was ready for the unavoidable battle
"BOSS BATTLE: Mai/Chun-li vs Duon"
"Ready? GO!"
The two went to charge against Duon, who wasted no time on start shooting its fire lasers from its two arm-cannons against them, all of them were avoided but also the machine would do it with a jump against the flying elbow from the kunoichi and the flying kick of the police, then a sword slash that, even if it landed to the ground, made the women to lose the balance, stabs were coming for them but were avoided, Mai noticed that regular attacks wouldn't work against that titan
-My kachosen are weak like this… but with enough energy…- Chun Li had to avoid the stabs from Duon, but the machine got distracted and a little affected from 3 fans covered in flames –Kachosen Hi! Come for me too, stupid piece of trash.
As an answer Mai received a near to direct attack from a blast, that sent her to the floor, Chun Li was worried but decided to take advantage –Mai! You will pay for this, Tenshou Kyaku!
Direct attack to the blue face of Duon who on answer, gave her an arm slap with one of its arm cannons, sending her to a wall
-Aaaaaahhhhh!
Mai was just recovering from the attack, it was not as bad as what happened to her comrade –Chun-Li, no!- for the first time on a long time, she had to fight alone, even if it could be temporary, Mai was gasping for some seconds but once Duon shoot some flying mines to her, Mai reacted –I just can't lose, not here, not now, my friends are fighting on the other side, I can hear them!
And once she got downside from the robot, prepared one of her best techniques
-Take this, Fukuaku Ougi!- a fire explosion that almost made Duon lose balance, but it damaged it, Mai tried to continue by jumping really high -Mussasabi no Mai!
And like a bird but covered in fire, got a direct hit to the head, but again an arm attack would be enough to send her violently to the floor
-Aaaaaahhhhh!
Duon was close to victory, and pointing its cannon against the kunoichi, but then…
-Hazan Tenshou Kyaku!- that kick was a heavy one direct on the center, and then lots of energy ball –Kikohen!
Once Chun Li decided to take some breath, she had to help Mai who was on a little worse position than her –Come on, is not over yet.
-I know… but is difficult…
Duon charge, trying to crush the ladies but they avoided, and avoided again and again
-I have an idea, like what happened to us on our fight against our friends! - Chun Li suggested

-How humiliating it was…- but then noises, lots of them appearing and becoming louder, Hanzo put his mask back –The place must be filled with them.
-Terry is not in the best condition to fight, Ryu and Ken are still unconscious—Mai added, looking around her
But the lone wolf tried to stand up –I still can…
Chun Li stopped him –No, you rest on this one, we can take care of this.
Frustrated, Terry had to resign –Good luck, but as the battle started, Terry approached to his knocked out comrades –Hey Ken, Ryu, we can't lose the fun, come on, wake up.
Ken was trying but Ryu had no answer, still, something was odd on him, like a voice was on his mind

Ryu was still asleep but finally, started to recover some consciousness
Meanwhile the battle outside of the van was starting to get difficult, mostly due to the amount of enemies that were still coming, despite being 4 warriors and a strange creature fighting them, it was getting difficult, Kyo roasted some of the creatures with his fire, but another kicked him on the guts, sending him against a car, Hanzo cut two with his sword and caught another with his hook, sending it to fly, but another creature launched against the ninja and started to punch him on the face
Meanwhile the ladies decided to do team job covering each-others back, doing it great until Chun-Li watched Mr Game and Watch trying to cope with his weapons against the horde of enemies, but eventually being caught by one
-We need to save him! - but that only distraction costed her a kick on the face and for Mai to be distracted too, receiving another punch on the head
Terry who decided to watch what was happening, also noticed that some of the creatures were approaching to the van
-Damn, even if I want or not, I still need to fight
-Ryu… wake up, your friends need you…- images of all of his current team were being shown still dealing with the creatures –Use the power of the Mu no Ken on your favor, give your friends another chance.
Then the miracle, an explosion of a white aura that was not intense, but it's energy even made Terry to feel much better, and for Ken to wake up
-What is happening? - Ken then looked aside of him –Oh yes!
Just seconds later, the horde started to suffer a surprise attack coming from the three warriors that came back to battlefield, Ken and Terry were recharged, not so much but enough to maintain another battle, yet Ryu was slightly different, his entire body was covered on a shining aura
-Power of Nothingness- Chun Li said
-What is that? - Scorpion asked
-Is his greatest power up, Ryu has achieved it after mastering the Satsui no Hadou- the police explained
Ryu then talked –Come on everyone, we need to continue the fight.
Terry complemented –Our enemy is at the top of the tower, if we don't move now all of those creatures will still come.
-Alright!- everyone said
Now being 8 on the battlefield, the team was able to fight against the horde and go upside on the Geese Tower, from flaming uppercuts, flying kicks, energy punches, the group was running on the stairs and the halls of the building to get on the last floor, not to be surprised, before arriving, more of the creatures were coming from behind, and in front of them a giant iron door
-Ryu, destroy that thing now! - Ken screamed
The eternal challenger took his energy and concentrated it on his famous… -Hadouken!
Once the door was destroyed, the team was able to watch who was waiting for them, sitting on a kind of a golden throne, a giant warrior with a hammer on one of his hands and a skull mask was waiting, Scorpion recognized him immediately
-Shao Khan.
The enormous warrior stood up –I'm disappointed on you Scorpion, but I suppose that the power that put you on our side also vanished- then he took his hammer –An impressive collection of souls, even the most little one here.
Mr Game and Watch made sounds that made him look angry, Hanzo continued –Did your pride just disappeared now? I'm ashamed of you too, king of the Netherrealm, now reduced to be a simple pawn.
-The Netherrealm can wait, what is at stake is something even bigger and I'm going to have a part of it, my empire is going to grow a lot further.
Ken laughed a little –I'm afraid that you don't consider something here I mean, it's something obvious.
And Kyo continued –We managed to arrive here defeating your army and still have energy left.
-And now were are 8 against you, you have no chance- Mai finished
But then sounds of the horde of creatures, more were coming, something that made Shao Khan smile –Didn't you say something about numbers advantage, I don't think that this applies for you.
The black cartoon went back to secure the entrance first, Chun Li added –I suppose then that a group has to contain and defeat the horde while other goes for this giant.
Scorpion took a step in front –He comes from my own homeworld, this is my thing now.
-He destroyed my hometown, so even if I'm injured, I have to fight- Terry also gave a step in front.
Ken then gave a friendly pat on Ryu's head –You still have your Mu no Ken active, go and help.
-You sure?- he asked, and his friend nodded –Ok, but I will give this to you, if you are in trouble, use it.
It was a little part of his energy, Ken smiled –Ok, Kyo, Mai, Chun Li, our little friend is waiting for us, let's give those creatures a lesson!
As the group divided on 2 once more, Shao Kahn soared –3 against one is not going to be enough to defeat me!

"Boss Battle: Ryu/Scorpion/Terry vs Shao Kahn"
The three divided their paths in order to attack the king of the Netherrealm, but Terry was caught by surprise with an energy fueled tackle by the Kahn, sending him against a statue, Ryu tried to kick him on the face but received a hammer hit on the body
-Come here, Shao Kahn!
The emperor caught the ninja's hook and pulled him to receive a kick on the head, another one that felt the floor
-Pathetic fool…- Terry caught him from behind on the throat but Shao Kahn took him, and gave him a head butt, enough to make him feel really dizzy, and with another kick again Terry tasted the floor of the tower –Feel the wrath of Shao Kahn!
-Shakunetsu!- Direct attack that took the emperor by surprise, receiving it with full force –Tatsumaki Senpuu Kyaku!
Ryu was still using his power up, because of that he was getting the best of the emperor for some seconds by punching him on the face and then another on the guts, but Shao Kahn pushed him enough distance to tackle him, making Ryu to lose balance and then another hammer hit directly on the chest, sending him against one of the statues, even breaking it
-You suck! - he went for Scorpion, wanting to finish him –And now about you.
Scorpion surprised him shooting a fire ball from his mouth directly on the chest, then he was able to caught the emperor with his hook on the throat, using that advantage to kick him violently on the head, breaking part of the mask/helmet
-Outstanding…- Shao Kahn launched a green energy ball, Scorpion avoided it, then the enemy jumped trying to destroy his opponent from upside, Scorpion rolled to avoid that, but once Shao Kahn landed, he sent a hammer hit so hard against scorpion that he destroyed the protection of the terrace, if it wasn't for his hook that he threw to save his life, it could have been the end –But I will be the ruler of this land.
-In your dreams skull head, Buster Wolf! - Direct attack on Shao Kahn's guts, he resisted it so he couldn't be sent out of the terrace –You destroyed my hometown and put my friends against me, I will never forgive you!
-And I don't even know who you are.
-But you will, I'm Terry Bogard, the legendary wolf! - Shao Kahn avoided the first attacks, but he wouldn't be aware of the last one –Power Geyser!
The explosion finally sent the emperor to the ground, but as Terry wanted to land a power dunk, Shao Kahn intercepted him with the hammer, making the legendary wolf to spit a lot of saliva out of his mouth, the giant enemy sent him to the floor after that attack and he recovered
-As I told you, 3 against one is still not enough to defeat me…
But he would pay for his sins, 2 fire balls coming from different sides landed directly to him, Scorpion an Ryu recovered and the eternal challenger helped Terry to stand up, the lone wolf was starting to see blurry
-Dammit… that last attack
-Come on Terry, one last effort is all that we need- Ryu said
Hanzo added –We need to maintain attacking as a group, if we do he will fall.
Shao Kahn soared –You will never make it!
Terry was now using the last of his energies, and both of his allies knew it –For him to finish it- Ryu added
-Well then.
Both the warrior and the ninja charged while Terry was gathering as much power on his palm as possible, Shao Kahn tried to land his hammer against Ryu's head, but his distraction costed him a fire punch on the guts from Scorpion, who avoided a kick, Ryu took the advantage and kicked the emperor on the chest, then the allies landed 2 powerful uppercuts on the jaw.
Shao Kahn was furious, angry, only one person was able to humiliate him like that but he was full of energy, the three that were in front of him were tired and were getting the best of him
-I will not fail!
And charged, Ryu caught him from the arms, moment on which Scorpion took advantage to catch him from behind, then both moved to take the emperor from the arms
-Terry, now! - Ryu yelled
-Finish him! - Hanzo added
It was the signal, Terry jumped with his punch filled on energy, he would land it on his enemy head
-Eat this, Power Dunk!
An attack so powerful that broke the skull helmet, revealing an ogre's face hiding behind the skull, that meant the end of the battle, the trio of warriors were victorious
-Hopefully that's enough- Ryu said and then, his power started to fade –We are all out of energy.
GAME!
Their allies came back from their respective fight, but as Terry was starting to fade, Ken launched the Mu no Ken energy that Ryu gave to him, so that power could help Terry to stand up
-You managed to maintain it- Ryu said to his friend
-No problems indeed- then all watched at the not so unconscious Shao Kahn, who was still moving –Now what?
Hanzo approached to the defeated enemy –Tell us what you know, or I will obey the rules of the Netherrealm- and pointed him with his sword
-He, for what? It's useless, he will become stronger each time, he was able to do all of this.
-Who? - Chun Li asked
-His name is Xeno, he is already of causing all of this without having his power complete, imagine what he will do after he achieves what he wants, I tried to fight him but is useless.
-I remember that- Scorpion spitted on the floor
-So yes, you know what to do, come on Hanzo, is the code of the Netherrealm… kill me now!

But Hanzo was still alert, as Shao Kahn was standing up, he was pissed because of his loss he wanted to sneak attack one of his enemies, and the objective of his green energy ball was Mai, just when she noticed the attack incoming, Scorpion intercepted it, reveling his hellish nature with his skull face, and landing a devastating pillar of flame
-Oh no, Aaahhhhhhh!
That was it for Shao Kahn, who was sent out of the terrace, falling from the building to his doom, everyone watched him falling
-Is he going to be all right? - Ken asked
-Well, Geese is used to fall from this very same height, I think that this guy will survive too- Terry said
Hanzo returned his own skin back after that trick, Mai was in shock –How did you…?
-Long story to be explained later…
On silence, the group went outside of the building, night was now noticeable with a lot of stars, Chun Li broke it
-Now what? The city is destroyed and we have nowhere to go.
But Mr Game and Watch pointed to the sky, something was coming, Kyo asked –Is that something bad or good?
Ken smiled –It is good, in fact, for us is the best thing to happen now.
And it was because a giant white airship was landing in front of them, on the frontal chamber, a humanoid fox said
-We found reinforcements, but they are injured, we need to help them now.

Ryu's Classic mode has changed: His first battle is vs Chun Li and his 6th battle is vs Ken, his last battle is vs Terry/Kyo and Mai
Ryu has a new gimmick "Kharma Charge" Depending on the battle, the bar will charge with every hit, if Ryu is winning (by one life or more than 80% of health) He will activate Mu-No-Ken, lighter, faster but easier to take out of the stage, if he is losing he will activate the Satsui no Hadou, heavier and slower but harder to take out, on each cases his attacks will deal more damage and his final smashes will change
