4. Chapter 4

Daisy's POV

I, Daisy, promise to get the chemistry working between Abby and Peter. I text Abby, "I saw the whole thing! You're such a klutz! :)"

I giggle at the message, but I laugh harder when I see her response.

"I would use naughty words, but children are present."

I switch to the group chat with Ida, Abby, and Delilah.

"Do y'all want to get together, before we are trapped in prison?"

Delilah responds, "Sure. I have cross country until 2:00 pm. Just anytime after that!"

Sardonically, Ida responds," I'm literally an introverted, antisocial high schooler, I have no life. Be my guest, anytime, anyplace."

Abby reluctantly responds, "I don't know, Peter could be outside. What if he sees me?"

I chime in, "You'll get over it. See you tonight, 6:00 pm sharp!"
