-My Hero Academia: It's a Jurassic World-

Chapter 3: 333, the little brother of 666

-Guardian Common Room, Challenge Tower, 01:05; three years ago-

With the other guardians having gone to their respective floor, Izumi was left alone in the common room. Which was not an uncommon occurrence, the green-haired girl seldom went down to her own floor as it was very rare for a challenger to reach it. Today felt different, however. It was weird, filled with nerves, hope, and fear. Hope that All Might, and the other heroes, would succeed in rescuing the others and her from the Island. Nerves that the heroes just might fail, like the previous ones. Weird because it was very likely that the other guardians and she would have to fight against their rescuers. Fear that the heroes did not know about the bombs in the necks of her family and would trigger them.

So, going against nearly every habit she had developed during her life in the tower Izumi took the tablet and kept a close eye on all the guardians and their floors. Something she did only on extremely rare occasions, confident that the others would defeat any challengers they faced and if someone somehow managed to get past the Sixth Floor they still were no match for her. "Part of me feels that I am betraying them, wanting the heroes to sneak past or defeat them. I just hope there is a plan." Izumi frowned as she switched to the camera feeds of the First Floor: The Wild Lands, guarded by Yosetsu Awase who can transform into a large Triceratops.

Amongst the resort residents, workers, and the scientists of Isla Nublar it was a known fact that the First Floor of the Challenge Tower functioned as a large buffer or filter that kept out those who could never hope to succeed in the tower. Not fast enough? Get trampled by the Triceratops. Not strong enough? Get trampled by the Triceratops. Not clever enough? Get trampled by…you get the idea.

Yosetsu was perfect for this task, with his length of 8,59 meters, the height of 3,20 meters, and the weight of 12.0 metric tons. Not to forget his three sharp horns and thick skin. The Guardian of the First Floor was a walking, talking, breathing tank. A deceptional fast tank, as many challengers had the unfortunate pleasure of finding out when they entered the Wildlands. Even challengers with strength-enhancing Quirks rarely managed to prevent the rushing Triceratops from, as one might guess, trampling them under his feet.

That the blond hero was managing to keep Yosetsu back, while the other heroes ran towards the central pillar, was thus quite the surprise for Izumi. "It feels so conflicting. It's good the heroes can fight back and scale the tower to rescue us. But the idea of them hurting my family does not sit well." She narrowed her eyes a bit, taking in the details of the running heroes. "If they hurt the others too much I will headbutt them. Probably twice for good measure and as a warning no to do so again." The running heroes had almost reached the central pillar.

To reach the next floor of the Challenge Tower was simple, in theory, that is, you either had to defeat or sneak past the guardian and reach the pillar. Where an elevator would take you to the next floor. On the First Floor, the pillar was in the centre, meaning that on the second floor the elevator was in one of the five pillars donning the wall; on the third floor it was in the centre again, and so on. The exception being Izumi's floor as the grand finale, thus having no pillar for challengers to go up.

Izumi's attention was caught as the blond hero facing Yosetsu suddenly yelled in his native language and managed to side-step away from the Triceratops, causing the transformed teen to slam into a large rock, unable to stop his rush. That being said the rock, having crumbled into smaller pieces and dust, suffered far more damage from it than Yosetsu did. "It has been at least a year since anyone managed to stop Yosetsu's rush, temporarily or not." So that meant the heroes were either lucky or skilled. Izumi was willing to bet on the latter. It would explain that weird feeling in her stomach. "But if they are indeed skilled…skilled enough to make it through the tower and defeat the others, it would mean that we will finally have our chance of getting out of here. Our only chance."

A fact that caused the unease Izumi was feeling to increase by tenfold. Frowning deeply Izumi tapped something on the tablet, switching the view to the hidden cameras of the common rooms. A plan began formulating in her mind as she glanced at the tower wall, the kitchen, and where the tracking implant in her arm was located. "You'll regret giving me so many privileges Wu. I will get my family out of here, no matter what." She swore.

-Venture Mangrove, Challenge Tower, 01:11; three years ago-

Leaving Pankration behind to face the first Guardian, the remainder of team 2 had rushed towards the elevator and were now going up. "Shouldn't someone else have stayed behind to aid Pankration?" Crust wondered out loud.

"He is Greece's Number 5 hero. Europe's Number 10 overall. He will be fine." X said, attempting to see through the floor above them. Something was heavily distorting her view, causing the heroine to frown. "I suspect that we will need everyone to proceed further. It would be easier though if I just could see what is waiting for us."

Gang Orca placed his hand on the wall and let out some low clicks. "It is water." He announced, while X softly cursed; water distorted her vision. "If my estimates are correct, we are now between the first and second floor. It is filled with water and filters."

"Meaning that a watery challenge is waiting for us on the next floor," Endeavour muttered with a scowl. The presence of water meant that he and his team would be useless on the next floor. "Orca you should take point, this is your element." He glanced up. "I'll admit that my knowledge on dinosaurs and other extinct animals is fairly lacking. Ideas what we could be facing up there?"

Mr Plastic crossed his arms. "Depends on what kind of water it is. Could be some type of prehistoric shark, Mosasaurus, or Plesiosaurus if it is saltwater. Might be a prehistoric crocodile if it is fresh."

"Spinosaurus," Shota muttered, mostly to himself. A while ago during the monthly U.A. Staff movie nights, Snipe had suggested a 'Park Jurassic' marathon. The Spinosaurus had been monstrously enough to give Hizashi nightmares, and even Nezu had been slightly disturbed by the terrifying dinosaur.

The others looked uneasy, clearly, they had also seen the movies. Crust laughed mirthlessly and slapped Shota's shoulder rather hardly. "Eraser Head I did not know you were such a jokester."

Shota was about to retort, but then the lift dinged, and the doors opened. A blast of warm humidified air greeted the heroes as they stepped outside in the middle of what was the combination of a mudflat and a mangrove.

Not far from them, on a small islet sticking up from the delta, sat one of the Guardians in a meditative pose. He was very tall for his age, with white-coloured hair; and although he lacked the multiple arms of his former Quirk, the kid still wore a mask that covered the lower half of his face and his neck. "Mezo Shoji." Aizawa knew from the files.

"Welcome to the second floor." The automatic voice cheerily announced. "Better known as the Venture Mangrove. You will find the entrance to the next floor at one of the pillars near the walls of the room. Good luck challengers."

Prompted by the voice Mezo opened his eyes and stood up. "The pillar you need is to the West." He stated, while subtly gesturing Eastwards, out of view for any cameras watching them. "I do not want to fight any of you, but if I disobey…it would not be pretty. So, I am very sorry in advance heroes, I'll try to not kill any of you." Suddenly he shuddered and seemed to pull into a ball, as from his back a large dorsal sail grew. "I suggest you run." He growled loudly as his entire body began to morph and grow quickly. A large dorsal sail sprouted from his back and his face began to elongate.

"RUN!" Gang Orca yelled as the heroes ran towards the east, quickly discovering that manoeuvring through the mudflat and mangrove was extremely difficult and impossible to do so while running. Swads of mud, large trees, and deep pools of water hindered their paths.

As the heroes moved through the mud and roots of the mangrove trees, a roar came from the largest known carnivorous animal to have ever existed behind them. Cold sweat dripped down Shota's face as he groaned loudly. "I hate being right." This was followed by a series of loud curses when the heroes had taken the wrong path and now were surrounded by tall trees and water.

Endeavour tried to use his Quirk, but the environment made it near impossible for him to make any significant flames and the trees were too moist to catch fire.

Using his echolocation Gang Orca tried to figure out where the guardian was. "He has gone underwater and is coming closer rapidly. We need to get out of here!" He looked up at the nearest tree, it had some odd damage. The orca-like hero blinked a few times before he realized what he was looking at. "Here! Footholds! Get up the tree!" Quickly the heroes started to scale the tree, as below them the dorsal sail temporarily appeared from the water.

Near the top of the large trees, the heroes found a makeshift path. Made from branches and ropes, connecting the tall trees. "Probably made by one of the previous challengers," Crust muttered. "I hope it leads to the exit." The path was treacherous and shaky, parts had already been broken off or groaned under the heroes' weight as they nervously moved along. Endeavour and Gang Orca were especially cautious, as the two heaviest and bulkiest heroes of the team.

Wi-Fire, one of the five sidekicks Endeavour had brought along, was at the head of the group. Carefully the young hero made his way over the branches and ropes. A big fan of parkour runs, having participated and conquered many challenges from the 'Warrior Ninja' show, Wi-Fire felt at relative ease. "Follow my lead! I'll get us to the next pillar safely." He grinned at the other heroes.

But as he was about to take another step, the tree he was currently on shook heavily and the young hero tripped. He screamed as he fell but, luckily for the sidekick, Shota had been ready for anyone to fall and with quick movements his capture cloth wrapped around the young hero's legs. Stopping his fall just a few feet above the water. Shota himself was prevented from falling by Gang Orca who had wrapped his left arm around the hero's middle while reaching with his free hand towards the capture cloth to lift Wi-Fire back up to the platform near the treetop.

Then the dorsal sail broke through the water's surface again, going towards Wi-Fire. The sidekick saw it first and began screaming again, but before any of the heroes could react Mezo in his Spinosaurus form came up with a loud screech, his teeth snapping through the capture cloth and pulling Wi-Fire underwater. Without hesitating Gang Orca pulled Shota back and jumped into the water, going after the dinosaur and sidekick.

"Damnit!" Endeavour cursed loudly. "Go! Go! Gang Orca will rescue him!" It took the heroes longer than it should have, the path rather abruptly ended a few trees further thus they had to track through the water and mud again, but after half an hour, they reached the eastern pillar. Where the Number 2. Hero slammed his fist against the wall repeatedly, angry at the apparent loss of his sidekick. As from the mangrove screeches of the guardian and yells from Gang Orca could be heard. "When I get my hands on that deranged madman that made all of this." Endeavour's anger was fierce enough to ignite his flames.

"We should proceed to the next floor." Mr Plastic said, opening the door. "Unless we get to Wu and the control centre there is no stopping this."

-Lily Vina resort, Challenge Tower, 01:51; three years ago-

"YEAH!" Hizashi Yamada, better known to the world as Present Mic, shouted in Jack's direction, his voice pushing the Mammoth back, before dodging debris thrown in his direction by the All-Star in retaliation. Rushing from cover the three villains he had teamed up with fired their Quirks at the rampaging Mammoth.

Insane, that was the only way Hizashi could describe the current situation. Heroes, villains, and secret agents working together to fight back against the two All-Stars. Fighting for their lives, and despite being outnumbered the All-Stars by a lot the blond hero was not sure they could beat the pair.

"Retreat! Get back to the main plaza!" Another villain shouted. "Queen is getting ready to unleash another plague!"

Hizashi cursed as he and the other three villains quickly fled back to the plaza. "That Queen fellow is the biggest problem here." The blond hero thought while jumping over some debris from ruined buildings. "Sure, that Jack guy is strong and has insane endurance, but Queen's plagues are much worse." A virus that turned corpses into Zombies, a gas that caused living beings to combust into flame, spores that inducted madness and rage. The Brachiosaurus used his Quirk to inflict horror upon anyone in the resort but Jack.

At the main plaza of the resort the heroes, villains, and agents had made a makeshift base. Using a barricade set up by one of the heroes. The base was intended to be a place where they could treat the wounded and keep prisoners, though those had been released to fight back against the All-Stars.

Near the middle of the plaza, under the parasols of what had once been a hotdog stand, the MI13 agents had set up their base. It was there that Present Mic found Agent Wisdom, smoking a cigarette while looking over a map worried. "Agent Wisdom any update on how All Might is faring against his opponent. We really can use his help here." Hizashi called out to him.

"No mate. We haven't heard anything at all." The MI13 agent grumbled. "Either that King fellow is loads stronger than we suspected, or All Might has found more trouble to deal with. So, in other words…" He gestured in the direction of Jack and Queen.

"In other words?" Hizashi imitated the gesture.

The agent sighed deeply. "In other words, mate, we need a bloody miracle, or we are right and properly buggered." He threw away his cigarette rubbing his nose bridge. Suddenly there was a loud bang, followed by yells and screams.

"They are through!" Someone yelled. "The barricade is down!" Jack rushed into the base, followed by zombies, victims on fire, and even worse: Zombies on fire.

The blond hero breathed out loudly. "Well, shit." He muttered. "I hope Shota has an easier time."

The All-Stars and their victims quickly rampaged through the plaza, driving the heroes, villains and agents with their backs against the tower entrance. "Did you fools really think you could defeat us?" Queen roared from high above them. "You lot must be even more stupid than those last heroes. Now, what type of virus shall I unleash on you lot."

The villain was interrupted by the same automatic voice that was used for nearly all announcements. "Attention All-Stars, fire detected in the tower's upper floors. Protective lockdown initiated, please take care of the problem." The two All-Stars looked at each other in surprise as thick steel plates loudly rose from the ground and blocked the tower's only entrance/exit, while an alarm blared from the tower itself.

Hizashi's attention, however, was caught by pieces of stone falling; the sound masked by the rising steel plates and alarm. He almost gasped as high up, near the top, a lone figure stood in the opening before jumping out; far enough to be directly above Queen, who was far too distracted by the alarm and announcements to notice the figure. The blond hero harshly poked Agent Wisdom's shoulder and nodded at the figure who was falling heads-down.

"Bloody hell?" The agent muttered as the figure began morphing. Transforming into a Pachycephalosaurus, with bull horns in mid-air.

"DINO SUPER BOMBER!" The figure called out, causing Queen to look up. The figure smashed their head against Queen's. Right between his eyes, making their horns plunge right into them. Queen's head was slapped down, as if it was a bug swatted down by a swatter, with such force that the ground cracked as he hit it.

Stepping away from the fallen All-Star was a small girl with green hair wearing a white coloured sleeveless dress. A mask covered her mouth and nose. She whipped away some dust from her dress. Feeling the glances of everyone at the plaza on her, she waved at them enthusiastically. "Hiya! Izumi here to throw havoc into plans!" She struck a rather cutesy pose, tilting her head a bit making two victory signs with her fingers near her eyes. Silence rang over the plaza, as they all stared at the girl; the only sound coming from Queen's victims dropping down as the Brachiosaurus' Quirk no longer kept the viruses going now that he had been knocked down.

The first to regain his senses was Jack who roared in anger. "Izumi you little bitch! How dare you?!"

The green-haired girl snorted loudly. "How dare I? Jack you super doofus of course I dare! This is the one chance for my family and me! You guys kidnapped me, hurt my family, threatened to kill them so many times I lost count. With the heroes here we might finally get away from all of this!" She gestured all around her, before pointing at the enraged Mammoth, "I hate you, Jack. You, the All-Stars, the resort guests, the scientists, and Doctor Wu most of all. Knowing that super ultra dumbass, there is a chance that after tonight I may not see another day; but if that is the case, I will go down fighting and bringing down Isla Nublar with me. Starting with you." The killing intent rolling off the small girl made many heroes and secret agents shiver.

To Hizashi's surprise the villains, who lived at the resort, were the ones most afraid of the girl. A few whimpered and took cover behind their temporary allies or the rubble. From their whispers, the blond hero caught words such as: 'The last Floor Guardian', 'Wu's little horror', and 'mommy get me out of here'. Shaking his head Hizashi walked a few steps towards the girl. "Are you okay little listener? That was quite a jump."

"It hurt, but I'll be all right." She turned towards him with a thumps-up. Her eyes widened a lot when she recognized the blond hero. "Oh my gosh! You're Present Mic!" She squealed and ran towards him with sparkling eyes. "My mom and I listen to your radio show and podcasts all the time…well before I was kidnapped that is." She added the last part softly. "But more importantly did you get that job at the U.A.? Do you still make your shows? Are you and that underground hero you had a crush on since high school finally dating?!"

Yamada had to blink a few times. "Erm yes to all three of your questions." The green-haired girl pumped her fists in the air, letting out an excited whoop! But now that she was closer to him, her size and demeanour allowed the blond hero to fully realize that he was talking to a kid.

"Well, I'll be damned." Agent Wisdom also stepped closer. "You are Izumi Midoriya, aren't you? How did you get out of the tower?" He looked her up and down.

The girl stopped in her tracks and shook her head to focus. "Focus Izumi." She scolded herself. "I have a plan, but first we must take down Jack! He needs to be defeated before my family has any hope of getting out of here alive." Her words caused the heroes and agents' attention to focus back on the All-Star.

"ENOUGH OF THIS!" Jack roared, storming towards Izumi and Present Mic who moved into a fighting stance.

Before it could come to a clash, however, a loud boisterous laughter was heard. From the other side of the island, the burning Adventure Jungle, a ball of fire was launched in their direction. "SMASH!" The ball of fire was smashed against Jack with so much power that the floor cracked and caved into a crater. There was a loud clap, which put out the fire, revealing All Might, looking winded, standing over a knocked-out King and Jack.

"All Might!" Izumi squealed again, looking star struck for a moment; before slapping herself, rather hard. "Family first. Admiration later." She said turning to Present Mic and the others on the plaza. "Listen up because I have a plan!" She jumped upon a rather large piece of rubble, making her stand taller than most people at the plaza and at the centre of everyone's attention. "Right here is the deal! Since about two years ago Doctor Wu suddenly stopped received money from his most important 'friend'. This was the money that he used to fund his research and maintain the Island. The money he makes from the Challenge Tower is nice, but by far not enough to make up for the loss of his main funds. So, to continue his work, he made some budget cuts to important areas such as his computer systems, island security and from the resort. Because of this, the tower is full of faults, system bugs, and errors. It takes nearly everything to keep the challenges and the lab running smoothly. So, cameras failing in the living areas of the tower is not uncommon. Using this to my advantage I have snuck out of the tower."

She paused for a moment. "Well to be more accurate, I broke the cameras making the scientists think that they failed to work again. Then I made a fire in the kitchens and cut out the tracking implant in my arm." Izumi pointed to the bloody cloth wrapped around her upper left arm. "When something like a fire happens in the upper levels, the tower locks down into safety mode. But due to tampering of the scientists to get more power to the challenges a bug slipped into the system. Instead of going into safety mode, the lab locks down, triple fold, cutting off nearly all communication and information from the outside. In fact, they can only communicate with the All-Stars, watch the challenge floors, and keep track of the floor guardians' locations. Which is why I had to cut out my tracker, make it look like I am still in the tower. Following me so far?"

"I believe so, please continue." All Might spoke for the group.

Izumi grinned under her mask as she continued. "When the lab locks down the All-Stars are supposed to free them, but if they are unable to do so that job falls to me. Meaning that I need to be back in the tower soon, put the tracker back in my arm and free them. Cause if Wu discovers I have gone out, he'll be allowed to blow the others up." Izumi pointed at the hole she made. "That hole will remain open so you can use that to sneak into the tower unseen and take down the scientists. I need to get back first, free the scientists, and get ready to fight in case the heroes inside are going through the challengers faster than I thought." She looked to Yamada and All Might. "A fight I cannot lose, cause if I do Wu can blow up the others."

Agent Wisdom looked up at the tower as he lit up a cigarette. "If we want this to work and fool those scientists, the heroes inside need to continue fighting the guardians and thus you. Using that as a distraction while we sneak inside. The question is…how are we going to get up that hole in the wall?"

"That one can make ropes." Izumi pointed at one of the resort guests who had challenged the tower a few months back. Her finger moved to another one. "She can reshape rocks, and shivering twiggy, the one hiding behind the heroes over there, can make change the weight of things." She waved at the man who looked at the small girl as if she were something from a nightmare.

"I can work with that." Agent Wisdom grinned at the villains, before clapping his hands to get everyone's attention. "Righto you louts, you heard the girl so get to work. We need to make a lift to get us up to that hole."

Izumi jumped off the rubble and looked around as the heroes, secret agents, and villains went to work. To her surprise, All Might walked up to her.

"Young Midoirya." All Might spoke up, giving her a smile and a thumbs-up while he said a certain sequence of two words, he would be using many more times in the future. "Thank you. Fighting King was more difficult than I expected. Had you not interfered here… I shudder to think about what would have happened." He shook his head. "I can get you back into the tower without any problem. But after that, I need to rest for a bit."

Izumi tilted her head a bit, inwardly extremely happy that All Might was speaking to her, he even praised her! Something that before today she could only dream of. "How long do you need sir?"

"Twenty minutes. Though if you can push thirty, I would be grateful." The Number 1. stated.

The green-haired girl nodded. "I can do that. I have to. Since I was installed as Guardian of the Last Floor no one has made it past me. I am not about to let that happen today, not when my family is so close to freedom. I cannot fail them."

"Atta girl." All Might ruffled her hair. "Have no fear young Izumi, I will make sure that you and your family get back your freedom. Now let us get you back to that tower for the last time!"

-Nekoka-fé, Challenge Tower, 02:16; three years ago-

Swearing inwardly, Shota used his capture cloth to swing behind one of the large cat trees. Hiding from the Guardian of the Sixth Floor. "A maze, a funhouse, and now a cat-café. What is next? The Colosseum?" The underground hero winched as he touched the deep bloody claw marks on his right leg. Peeking over the box at the bottom of the cat tree, Aizawa frowned as he saw the Guardian clash with Nyikang. The two of them had stayed behind so that Endeavour and his sidekicks could move to the next floor focus on the Final Guardian.

After escaping from the Second Floor, things had gone better for the heroes challenging the tower. Crust had fought and defeated Hiryu Rin, who could transform into an Allosaurus, on the Third Floor: The Spiralling Steppes; but had been too injured to continue. With the aid of X they had made it through the spiderweb infested Fourth Floor: The Twisting Maze, in record time.

However, she and Mr Plastic has stayed there to subdue Ibara Shiozaki who could transform into a prehistoric spider with a difficult name: Rosamygale Grauvogeli, though in reality, the spider was very small, the scientists of Isla Nublar had greatly increased the size of Ibara's transformed state. Her size had reminded Shota of the giant spider from the 'Lord of the rings movies'. "Hizashi would have gone into shock seeing her." Shota mused.

The Fifth Floor: The zigzagging funhouse, had been a pain to deal with. The traps, tricks, and obstacles had been of the deadly variant; and with Ochaco Uraraka transformed into a small pre-historic Flying Squirrel, officially called Hesperopetes, pulling tricks of her own it had seemed bleak for the heroes for a moment. That is until Nyikang went into action, using his Quirk to possess objects and people he shut down the funhouse and subdued Ochaco before Shota and Endeavour had time to move.

With the Fifth Floor cleared the three heroes and Endeavour's four remaining sidekicks had moved to the Sixth Floor: Nekoka-fé, guarded by Hitoshi Shinso who could transform into a Smilodon, a sabre-toothed cat, with a long tail. The purple-haired teen was strong, and apart from Hiryu a far better fighter than the other Guardians had been. "With Hiryu we were fortunate to have Crust with us. In this fight, we are not so lucky."

Entering the Sixth Floor had been surreal, even on this bizarre island. The elevator opened into a corridor with an entrance hall at the end, where on an oversized cat-bed Hitoshi, in his large Smilodon form, was waiting for them. Lazily the purple-haired boy had observed them for a moment, exchanged some pleasantries, before going for the attack.

With teeth, claws, muscles, and unexpected agility the Smilodon had taken down one of Endeavour's sidekicks in the blink of an eye, reducing their numbers to three. The Number 2. had wanted to retaliate, but at Shota and Nyikang's urging had continued to the Final Floor, while the other two faced Hitoshi on this floor of tall cat-trees that reached the size of a house and cat-toys the size of large boulders and trees. It was a task easier said than done, as right before Shota's eyes Hitoshi was mercilessly attacking Nyikang. It was taking the Sudanese hero everything he had to ward off the claws and teeth with his sword. Shota was not sure how much longer the other hero could keep this up.

But with Hitoshi fully focused on Nyikang, it gave Shota the perfect opportunity for a sneak attack. Moving silently in a circle around the cat and hero, the underground hero threw his capture cloth at the Smilodon but to his surprise, Hitoshi jumped out of the way. Causing the cloth to wrap around Nyikang instead. Without hesitating Shota pulled Nyikang towards him, just before sharp claws cut through the air at the spot the Sudanese hero's head was less than a second ago.

Grimacing Shota lifted Nyikang over his shoulder and fled away, hiding in one of the open boxes of the cat-trees. With a single movement, Nyikang was freed from the cloth and the two heroes took a moment to catch their breath. "My Quirk does not work on them once they are transformed." The underground hero grumbled. "I can prevent them from transforming as we found out with Ochaco, but once they have taken their animal form it does not affect them in the slightest."

Nyikang took a deep breath. "Similarly, I cannot possess any of them. Their wills are far too strong for it. Which I am very thankful about, to be honest with you."

"How so?" Shota said, keeping a watchful eye on their surroundings.

"Because it means that despite the horrors inflicted on them, these kids are not broken. Their will, and thus minds, survived. It gives me hope that once we have taken them from this island of horror they can recover." Nyikang answered standing back up. "But first we need to figure out how to defeat Hitoshi." He kneeled next to Shota, who was observing their surroundings.

"See those two blue cat-trees over there?" The scruffy hero nodded towards them. Nyikang nodded in response. "I was thinking to set a trap between the two of them. The problem is the kid is smart, he will probably figure out we are planning something if we both rush there."

The Sudanese hero nodded. "With my Quirk or your capture cloth, it should be possible to set up a trap there. But as you said, no fooling this kitten."

"He seems more focused on you though," Shota said with some hesitation. He looked directly at the other hero. "Nyikang…can I ask you to be a decoy?"

The sword-wielding hero chuckled. "Funny. I was just thinking the exact same thing." He reached into his pocket and pulled out a small smiley plush with arms. He looked at it for a moment, his eyes glowing green behind his mask as a similar glow appeared around the plush. "Here take this, just give it a squeeze when you are ready." Nyikang stood up and rolled his shoulders. "Oh! And should Hitoshi go after you instead just twist the arms around. I will come to your aid."

Shota nodded. "I will move as soon as Hitoshi starts chasing you. Good luck."

-Dino Colosseum, Challenge Tower, 02:24; three years ago-

"What the heck is wrong with this place?" One of the sidekicks muttered, rather loudly, as they ran up the stairs; unknowingly echoing Eraserhead's thoughts. "First grasslands, then a swamp, followed by steppes, and scary maze. You know I can understand those, kinda. But a funhouse?! A freaking cat café?! What is next? A boxing ring?!" His words turned out to be kind of prophetic, as the moment the group exited the staircase, they found themselves on the field of an intact replica of the Colosseum in Rome. Taking in his surrounding, Endeavour could not help but agree with his sidekick, whoever had designed this place was either insane or had way too much time on their hands.

Movement at the other side of the field caught his attention. A metal gate was slowly opening, and for a moment Endeavour's mind was taken to the various gladiator movies he had seen during Fuyumi's movie phase. He readied himself in case Dinosaurs or gladiators would rush out of the opening. But to his, and the three sidekicks, surprise it was just a little girl.

A rather cute girl around Shouto's age with green hair and horns growing from the sides of her head, a mask covered her mouth, nose, and part of her chin. "Are those bull horns?!" The Number 2. wondered.

Burnin tugged the sleeve of his costume, shaking her superior out of his confused state. "Boss I think that is the last of the kidnapped kids. You know the one the case is named after." Endeavour nodded, mentally noting that unlike the other kids this one was not already transformed and like the cat on the previous floor did not automatically attack them at first sight.

The girl waved rather enthusiastically at them. "Hiya! Izumi here, welcome to my arena! This is the first time ever that such a large group has made it here. So, I am kinda excited about it!" She struck a rather cutesy pose, making two victory signals with her hands. "But you guys must be strong if you somehow managed to beat both Hiryu and Hitoshi. Unless you somehow sneaked your ways past them of course."

"What do you mean with that?" Burnin asked with a friendly smile, or at least an attempted one.

The green-haired girl darted towards Endeavour's most trusted sidekicks. "Well see, Hiryu is the Allosaurs and Hitoshi is the Smilodon. Both are very strong and are like the sub-bosses of the tower if this was a video game. That is the reason they are placed on the third and sixth floor you know?"

"What of the Spinosaurus?" The prophetic sidekick wondered out loud.

Izumi rubbed her chin, or rather the mask covering her chin. "Well, honestly Mezo is stronger than both. But…he is also a very kind and gentle guy and does not like hurting others too much. He wants to become a rescue type of hero after all. So Hiryu and Hitoshi are better fighters."

"So, order of floors is not in terms of strength and fighting ability?" Endeavour mussed out loud. Part of him was very glad that at least one of the kids wanted to talk instead of fighting. For now, at least.

Izumi shook her head. "Nope, it is a challenge after all. Yosetsu is a walking tank, he weeds out those who cannot possibly hope to succeed. Shoji fishes out those who have the strength but lack the stamina. Then Hiryu is the first boss, anyone that passes by him is should be strong and skill full enough to be able to challenge the next floors. Then Shiozaki and Ochaco challenge your mental fortitude and ability to think in times of crisis. If you somehow managed to get past that, the challengers will be granted a 30-minute respite in the Cat Café, before having to face Hitoshi in combat. Then in the very rare event of anyone making it past him, they must face the final boss: Me. I am the strongest after all." She struck another cutesy pose, pointing at herself with her thumbs.

The last of the three sidekicks, a man rivalling his boss in height and burliness, scoffed loudly. He had only been working at Endeavour's agency for a few weeks. His no-nonsense attitude during the interview had impressed Enji and the first few days on the job; but shortly after that complains about the new sidekick's confrontational attitude, which more often than not was directed at civilians and the police, instead of the villains it was supposed to be focused on. The sidekick walked towards Izumi, rolling his shoulders, before pushing the small girl away. "You the final boss? A scrawny little brat? Don't make me laugh little girl, now go and bring out the real challenge."

As the words left his sidekick's mouth, Endeavour suddenly remembered that amongst the seven children, Izumi Midoriya was the only one who had a warning notice in her file. A note warning that while normally she was a nice girl, Izumi Midoriya had a very short temper and tended to lash out violently when angered or insulted.

The Number 2. Hero's realisation came a moment too late, as veins started to throb on the girl's face and her face gained a dark look. "Who…" Izumi jumped up higher than a girl her age should be able to. Rearing her head back, before smashing her forehead against the rude sidekick's own; with a rather sickening crunch sound. "Did you just call a brat! You dumbass!" The girl screeched loudly.

"Erkghm-" The sidekick, made an odd sound before he crumpled down, almost like a towel hitting the floor, blood coming from his nose and mouth.

Seeing their fellow hero drop-down, Burnin and the last sidekick moved into action and began attacking the girl. "Shit…" Endeavour swore as the girl took them down without transforming, a single headbutt took them out easily. Though thankfully they were not bleeding as badly as the first sidekick, nor were they fully knocked out.

Endeavour grimaced as he readied his flames, he slowly started circling to the right. The green-haired girl copied him, walking to the left.

Over the course of his hero-career Endeavour had fought countless villains and evil-doers. Because he had fought so many, the Number 2 had developed some sort of sense or sub-conscious checklist that told him how dangerous his opponent was, and Izumi made that sense scream out in warning. Somehow this little girl felt more dangerous than some of the most hardened villains Endeavour had ever faced. He did not doubt for even a second that she was telling the truth of being the strongest Guardian.

Not the two carnivorous dinosaurs, not the terrifying spider, nor the sabre-toothed cat. No, this cute-looking girl was the strongest and Endeavour was not looking forward to their fight.

The fourth chapter is out! Sorry, it took a while, I'm quite busy with school, work and personal stuff.

Furthering the invasion, the heroes scaling the tower learn how terrifying facing a dinosaur can be when entering Shoji's floor, while the heroes outside are struggling against the three remaining All-Stars.

Luckily for them, Izumi is not one to sit still and shakes up the field by taking down Queen, while All Might arrives taking down King and Jack at the same time. Our favourite green-haired girl has a plan to hopefully end this all soon but has to get back in the tower in time.

Speaking of the tower after struggling against the Guardians, the heroes have finally reached the Sixth and Seventh floor where Aizawa and Nyikang have to face off against Hitoshi while Endeavour and his sidekicks run afoul of Izumi who made it back to the tower just in time.

The next chapter will be the finale of Isla Nublar's invasion and the aftermath.
