Vorton
As the heroes return to Vorton through the gateway, the Keystone levitates in the air and is placed onto the gateway.
GATEWAY KEEPER: There it is, the Chroma Keystone. Now we're talkin'.
LEO: I'm assuming these Keystones are stabilizing the gateway?
IRON MAN: Well considering the scans i'm getting, yeah.
The gateway opens a rift to another dimension.
SONIC: Well, here we go again.
The heroes then enter the gateway.
Toy Story Universe
As Rex is watching an anime on the TV, Woody steps on the remote and turns it off.
REX: I was watching that!
WOODY: Ah, Sorry. But this is no time for television, Rex.
HAMM: Gotta say that Giga is pretty impressive.
REX: Really? I like Yozora most.
Woody notices some Badniks below and tackles both Hamm and Rex down.
HAMM: Woody? What gives?
WOODY: Shhh!
BUZZ: Are they back?
WOODY: Shhhhhh!
Woody signals towards the Badniks.
WOODY: All right, guys. Today we teach those intruders who's boss. Is everybody in position?
REX: Wait. Hold on! I don't think I'm emotionally prepared!
HAMM: Would you calm down? Don't worry. I got ya covered.
Woody and Buzz look around to the Aliens and Sarge and his team.
BUZZ: It's go time.
Underneath another desk, our heroes arrive looking different than before. They look like toys.
IRON MAN: Okay, am I crazy or did we shrink?
SONIC: I can top that question, why do we look like action figures?
BATMAN: I don't know.
Leo looks over to see Badniks.
LEO: Guys we got trouble.
SONIC: Badniks.
GANDALF: Do you think they could be searching for us?
BATMAN: Doesn't matter, we have to take them out.
SONIC: Now you're speaking my language.
They rush in to deal with the Badniks.
WOODY: Okay. We go on three. One, two..
Buzz notices Sonic, Gandalf, Iron Man, Leonardo and Batman charging towards the Badniks. He jumps and holds Woody and the others back.
BUZZ: Wait!
WOODY: What are you doing?!
Buzz points towards the heroes.
WOODY: Who are those guys?
Sonic spin dashes a Badnik to pieces while Iron Man blasts one with his repulsor blast. One goes to tackle Leonardo but he jumps over it and cuts it in half using his Katana. Gandalf holds a bunch of them with his magic so Sonic can spin dash them to smithereens. Batman throws a Batarang at one, causing it to explode. One tries to run off but Sonic is too quick for it and spin dashes right through it, cutting it in half. The toys on the desk looked in awe in what they saw.
SONIC: Now that's how we do it!
IRON MAN: You know it, I always look this good in a fight.
HAMM: Are they new?
The toys then approach the heroes.
BUZZ: Stay back! For all we know, the intruders sent them.
IRON MAN: Pfft please. If we were with them, then why would we destroy them?
REX: Wow!
WOODY: Slow down there, Rex. We don't know them.
REX: But we can trust them. That guy with the bat costume, he might be a superhero!
HAMM: Yeah, Andy's mom must've bought 'em for him.
REX: Hamm's right. Did you see how easily they took care of the intruders? I bet they're here to figure out why all our friends have gone missing, and why Buzz's laser started actually laser-ing, and all the weird stuff that's been going on. I mean, that's what heroes do, right?
BUZZ: Let's not jump to conclusions.
WOODY: Hmm...
BUZZ: Gotta be smart, Woody.
WOODY: So, you're...Andy's new toys?
ALL HEROES: Toys?
WOODY: You sure did a number on those intruders.
SONIC: Nothing new, I deal with Badniks all the time,
WOODY: Badniks?
IRON MAN: The bad guys.
SONIC: I've been fighting against them for years.
REX: I knew it!
WOODY: Hmm... Okay. In that case, you're alright by me. My name's Woody. Put 'er there.
Woody extends his hand.
BUZZ: Now hold on.
Sonic accepts the handshake.
SONIC: I'm Sonic, Sonic The Hedgehog.
Tony raises his helmet.
IRON MAN: I'm Tony Stark, But you can call me Iron Man.
GANDALF: Gandalf The Grey.
LEO: I'm Leonardo.
Batman just looks at them.
SONIC: Don't mind Batman, he's usually like that.
BUZZ: And I'm... Buzz Lightyear.
HAMM: Call me Hamm.
REX: And I'm Rex!
SERGEANT: All troops at attention, sir!
ALIENS: Wheeee!
ALIEN 1: Strangers.
ALIEN 2: From the outside.
ALIEN 3: Welcome.
BATMAN (IN THOUGHT): They're all toys, this is weird. We shouldn't be wasting time here, we should be looking for the Keystone.
BUZZ: Excuse me. You said that you've battled those intruders before. Tell us where and why.
SONIC: I'll handle this one guys. I've dealt with them the most, especially their creator, Dr. Eggman.
BUZZ: Eggman?
SONIC: Basically an evil scientist who wants to rule the world.
BUZZ: But why...
WOODY: Take it easy, Buzz. What matters is that they got those intruders out of our way, for at least a little while. No need to interrogate 'em.
REX: Yeah, Buzz.
HAMM: Woody's right.
BUZZ: Noted. But still...
LEO: Have those intruders been a problem for a while?
WOODY: No, they just showed up a little while ago.
BUZZ: In fast, those Badniks materialized... right after all of our friends up and vanished.
GANDALF: You don't think….
IRON MAN: Can't be a coincidence.
WOODY: It wasn't always this lonely. One day we woke up, and we were the only toys left here. Nobody's heard from Mom, Molly, or Andy...
Woody sits on a block and pulls his leg up, seeing the name "Andy" written underneath his shoe.
WOODY: We keep waiting for Andy to come home.
SONIC: You really care about him.
WOODY: Yeah... He's the best friend that toys like us could ever hope to have.
SONIC: All right. We'd better start looking! Have you got any clues we can go on, any other strange things that happened?
WOODY: Well... Hmm. There's one thing.
HAMM: One big thing.
SERGEANT: Huge, sir.
REX: What thing?
BUZZ: After everyone went MIA, the intruders didn't come alone. They arrived with a guy in a big green suit just like you. As a matter of fact, he's the only other toy we've seen, outside you five
SONIC: Big green suit?
WOODY: You know who it is?
SONIC: Maybe, if it is him, then that would be very bead news.
BUZZ: Seems like you have a lot of enemies.
SONIC: We may have a hunch what's causing all the weirdness. Would you mind if we handle this?
WOODY: I'm sorry. But we're not going to leave this to you.
SONIC: Huh?
WOODY: If that guy had something to do with our friends vanishing, then he's our problem too. We've got to work together.
BATMAN: No.
ALL: Huh?
BATMAN: This is our problem, we'll handle it ourselves.
IRON MAN: Uh, Bats? If they wanna offer their help, we should accept it.
BATMAN: They would slow us down, we need to find the Keystone and stop whoever is behind this.
WOODY: We can handle ourselves.
BATMAN: I don't doubt that, but this isn't your fight.
SONIC: No offence Bats, but we need their help so…
He turns to Woody.
SONIC: Welcome aboard.
BATMAN: Fine, but if anything happens, it's on you.
He then grapples up to the window still. Woody turns to Sarge.
WOODY: Sarge, any word from the recon team?
SERGEANT: The latest reports place him in town, sir. At Galaxy Toys!
WOODY: Then Galaxy Toys is where we're going. Sonic. Follow me. It's out the window and down the roof.
BUZZ: Not so fast, cowboy. You seem pretty gung ho about going, but shouldn't we stay and wait for Andy?
WOODY: Well... You've got a point, but...we've tried waiting. Look, if we go with Sonic, we might find a clue. Are you with me, Buzz?
BUZZ: Of course. Okay, let's move out!
SONIC: Alright, see you at the window.
Sonic then speeds up there in a second.
BUZZ: He's fast.
IRON MAN: You get used to it.
GALAXY TOYS
REX: We're here!
SONIC: Hey, why doesn't that toy move?
Sonic points at an inanimate toy, a Gigas robot, on the toy store display.
WOODY: I guess it hasn't figured it out.
SONIC: Figured what out?
IRON MAN: Hey Spike Ball, I'm picking up a familiar signal on my scanner.
GANDALF: Look!
He points to a distinct glow on the upper levels. Iron Man uses his tech to zoom in and sees that it's a Chaos Emerald.
IRON MAN: It's a Chaos Emerald!
WOODY: Chaos Emerald?
SONIC: A gem with infinite power.
Suddenly a blast from a laser gun disrupts the heroes. Sonic sees the blast incoming.
SONIC: LOOK OUT!
Everyone sees and dodges. Then the figure in the big green suit jumps down from another level, it is Lex Luthor.
BATMAN: Luthor.
LEX LUTHOR: That Emerald! Hand it over!
He fires another blast at the heroes. Sonic then pieces it together.
SONIC: Working with Egghead again Lex?
LEX LUTHOR: Reluctantly.
Lex then gets a scan on his gauntlet and makes a discovery.
LEX LUTHOR: Hmm, so this world is an anomaly. An anomaly that created a duplicate world from the real one, interesting. But I can't have any of you ruining my plans so...
Lex then fires a green blast at the Giga robot and it begins to move.
WOODY: Oh no, he can move.
HAMM & REX: Cool.
The robot then attempts to smash the two but Iron Man blasts it away.
LEX LUTHOR: That should keep you occupied for a little bit.
Lex then flies off to the upper levels to get the Emerald.
BUZZ: Woody! What is going on? Is this toy a friend...or foe?
WOODY: I think we've got our answer.
The Gigas robot begins shooting its gatling gun at Sonic, Woody, and the others, who hide behind the toy displays.
Iron Man fires several missiles at the robot while Sonic spin dashes the robot from the front. Gandalf uses his magic flames to surround the robot while Batman uses smoke bombs to blind the robot. Leonardo uses this opportunity to jump in the air and cut the robots head off, finishing it off. The toys then meet up with the others. Buzz then walks up to the robot.
Buzz: He was being controlled? He wasn't just switched into battle mode by accident?
SONIC: Buzz?
Buzz: It's nothing.
WOODY: I'm confused. That guy in the suit, did he say that this is a copy of the real world? What's that mean?
IRON MAN: It means that the anomaly that Lex picked up split your reality in two. Your friends in one world, us in the other. Only one of the worlds is real, and the other is just really convincing.
BUZZ: You can't be serious. You can't "split worlds." This is ridiculous. Woody, let's go.
WOODY: I admit, it does sound just a little far-fetched. But..say we have been taken to some kind of alternate world. That would explain why your laser's real. And is it really that crazy? Worse than "evil emperors" and "protecting the galaxy"? Any of that ring a bell?
BUZZ: Point taken. But that just means these strangers are part of the delusion. And I say it's time we parted ways and went home.
BATMAN: I agree, I told you this would happen. They're just going to slow us down, we need to find the Keystone and stop Lex from getting that Emerald. We're better off on our own.
LEO: Sonic, Batman has a point. We need to move quickly. Let's just part ways and move on.
SONIC: Look, I get that it seems weird, but we know something's wrong with this place. We should stick together.
WOODY: Sonic's right. They helped with the intruder, so they might help find our friends. They have been there for us so far. You can't deny that. Come on. Every toy deserves a fair shake. Am I right?
BUZZ: Tell it to that toy over there.
SERGEANT: Sheriff, sir! Rex has just been dino-napped!
WOODY: What's that?!
SERGEANT: My men saw him get hauled up to the second floor, sir! And Hamm and the Aliens are MIA.
WOODY: Come on. We have got to find them!
SONIC: Let us help!
WOODY: Well, Buzz? Do you really think we can save our friends on our own? We didn't get very far before. We gotta take all the help we can get.
IRON MAN: Don't worry. Sonic can be reckless, and Batman grumbles a lot. But you can trust 'em!
SONIC: Hey! He suspects you, too!
IRON MAN: It's true.
WOODY: See, they don't seem bad. Am I right, Buzz?
BUZZ: Okay, fine. We do need the extra help. But just so we're clear: I remain skeptical about this. I'll work with you till we find our friends.
WOODY: Thanks for the help.
SERGEANT: My troops will return to the field, sir!
Woody and the others walk towards the middle of the store.
BUZZ: This ascent is gonna be rather tricky.
WOODY: Too bad we're not strapped to a rocket, huh?
SONIC: Hey! Think we could use that?
Sonic points at the ball rails throughout the store.
WOODY: It's perfect. C'mon, guys! Rex!
Woody runs to one side of the store.
WOODY: Where'd he go?
BUZZ: You sure you saw him?
WOODY: Yes, he just-
SONIC: Shh. Do you guys hear something?
GANDALF: Hmm... What's that?
Gandalf points to a figure poking barely over a display of toys.
BUZZ: Something feels wrong.
The figure charges through the display, revealing itself to be a large snake toy.
SONIC: Another toy's being controlled!
On top of the snake is a Keystone and Saruman.
SONIC: A Keystone!
SARUMAN: Did you think my master would it so easy for you, Gandalf?
GANDALF: Saruman?! Have you abandoned all reason?
SARUMAN: Not at all, my friend.
IRON MAN: A giant snake, is that all? I think you'll find we're tougher than you expect.
SARUMAN: Then I'll make sure he chews properly.
Buzz hesitates, then aims his laser at the toy.
SONIC: Buzz, you sure?
BUZZ: If it wanted to play nice, then it should've stayed away from my friends.
The snake then charges at the heroes with a large bite, the heroes dodge the attack. Sonic goes for a punch but the Keystone creates a barrier around Saruman, protecting him from the attack. The snake tail whips an attack at Buzz but he jumps over and lasers the snake in the eye, stunning it.
SARUMAN: You'll regret that fool!
The snake launches itself at Buzz with its fangs ready to strike. But before it could reach him, Iron Man fires a unibeam blast through the snake's body, cutting it in half.
SARUMAN: NO!
Leonardo sneaks up behind Saruman and attempts to strike with his Katanas, but is blocked by Saruman's staff.
SARUMAN: You cannot sneak up behind me fool!
LEO: Wasn't trying to.
But before Saruman could realise what he meant, he got struck off the snake by the flames from Gandalf. Batman then throws a barrage of Batarangs at the snake to finish it off, its plastic head explodes, defeating it. The Keystone drops from the explosion, for Leonardo to collect. Saruman gets up and realises he has been beaten. Suddenly a rift opens behind him.
SARUMAN: This isn't over Gandalf!
He then walks through the rift.
LEO: This is starting to become a pattern.
BATMAN: There is obviously someone behind this.
IRON MAN: We'll figure that out after we stop Lex.
Suddenly a flash from the gaming section of the store is seen.
IRON MAN: That doesn't look good. Come on!
They all rush to the source of the light. When they reach the game store, they see Rex, Hamm and the Aliens all in electrified cages.
BUZZ: Guys!
BATMAN: Luthor!
WOODY: What do you want with my friends?
LEX LUTHOR: To teach them a lesson, for spying on me! I already have the Chaos Emerald, now I just have to deal with you. I'm going to show them what happens when they make an enemy out of me!
SONIC: Let them go Lex!
LEX LUTHOR: You want them. Come and get em!
Lex then summons some Badniks to aid him in this battle. He flies up as the Badniks attack. Buzz fires a laser at a group of them, destroying them. Woody throws a Badnik at Sonic so he can spin dash it to pieces. As they fight the Badniks, Lex flies around firing laser beams at the heroes in hopes of destroying them. Lex doesn't notice however, that Iron Man is charging right at him. He punches Lex, pushing him back.
LEX LUTHOR: DAMN YOU STARK!
They both fire beams from their hands which creates an explosion, pushing them back. While Lex is distracted, Iron Man fires a barrage of missiles at Lex but he blocks them with his energy shield. While they are fighting Batman goes to the cages and disarms them, freeing the toys.
BATMAN: Are you alright?
HAMM: Yeah, thanks.
BATMAN: Good, now get out of here.
Buzz sees this and smirks. Lex sees this and is enraged.
LEX LUTHOR: NO!
IRON MAN: Let's play tag Lex!
Iron Man then tackles him to the ground. They both crash, Lex punches Iron Man out of the crater. He sees the Badniks have been destroyed.
LEX LUTHOR: DAMN YOU!
He fires lasers at the heroes. Sonic tries to spin dash him but Lex grabs him while he is spinning and throws him at Buzz and Woody.
LEX LUTHOR: I WILL NOT BE DEFEATED BY FIGURINES!
He then creates a shockwave which pushes them all back. He then fires homing missiles at Sonic, but Sonic runs with them in pursuit. He runs up the walls and through the aisle to try and lose them. He reaches Lex and slides under his legs and the missiles hit him. Buzz fires a laser at him, damaging his armour. Batman then kicks him in the face, knocking him down. He slams his fist on the ground in anger, he fails to notice Gandalf summoning lightning bolts which strike Lex, he then blinds him with extreme illumination. This allows Leonardo to stab his armour, he then kicks him in the face while doing a backflip.
LEX LUTHOR: THIS...IS...IMPOSSIBLE! I AM LEX LUTHOR!
WOODY: Pal, we don't really care.
Then they all rush toward Lex and punch him, knocking him down for the count. He drops the Emerald from his hand for Sonic to collect.
SONIC: Thank you very much.
They all high five each other, except for Batman, who just smiles. A rift then opens up and sucks Lex into it. Once it closes they all walk to Rex, Hamm and the Aliens.
WOODY: You guys alright?
HAMM: Yeah, we're fine.
BUZZ: What happened?
HAMM: We decided to follow that guy to see what he was up to and we got caught. The Aliens were just there.
ALIENS: Ohhh.
BUZZ: That was brave, but reckless.
REX: We know.
WOODY: If you're gonna do it again, stay hidden.
They nod and head back to the entrance.
SONIC: I'm sorry! I wanted to get you back to the real world.
BUZZ: It does seem that we're trapped here.
REX: We'll never get home.
HAMM: Yeah, stuck like pigs.
SARGEANT: Our position appears fixed.
ALIENS: Oh nooo.
BUZZ: A shame we'll have to stay a little longer... with our new best friends.
ALL HEROES: Huh?
WOODY: After all the adventures we've had, we're not quite ready to say, "So long."
Sonic laughs.
SONIC: You guys...
Buzz extends his hand.
BUZZ: I'm sorry that I was being so stubborn. Please forgive me.
Sonic shakes Buzz's hand.
SONIC: Hey, you were just looking out for your friends. No biggie.
Hamm: Yeah, somebody's gotta be the sensible one, especially since Woody's always gettin' in trouble.
IRON MAN: that sounds like a certain hedgehog we know.
Woody and Sonic point at themselves in confusion.
Batman then steps forward.
BATMAN: I would like to apologize for how I was acting, it was wrong.
He extends his hand, Woody accepts.
WOODY: Don't worry about it.
BUZZ: We're all good
WOODY: Plus, if we do go back to the real world, we'll never see you again, right?
SONIC: But...what about Andy? You care about him so much.
BUZZ: And he's still right here with us.
WOODY: If we follow our hearts, we'll find him again.
SONIC: Yeah!
WOODY: So, Sonic, are you goin' after the guy in the suit?
BUZZ: Something tells me we can't join you on that mission.
WOODY: That's okay...because you've become part of our hearts.
Woody turns around as the other toys gather up ahead. He points at Sonic's heart.
WOODY: So let us become a part of yours.
SONIC: Thank you!
BUZZ: Now, off you go. To infinity and beyond!
A rift opens up behind them. They all wave to each other before they part ways.

DR. DOOM: I'm very disappointed in you, Lex.
LEX LUTHOR: It's not my fault! You should have warned me Batman and his cronies would be there!
DR. DOOM: Batman, again? …Well, if mice are scurrying through my property… …Then I better put down some traps.
