Thor Blood and Gorr

Chapter 4

Thor calls in the Bifrost as the team return to New Asgard with Kara holding the body of Billy Batson.

"WE NEED A DOCTOR NOW!!" she screamed.

A table was cleared as she places Billy on it. The Asgardian doctors had Kara leave giving them room to work.

She paces back and forth feeling utterly horrible and guilty for throwing the hammer at the boy. Diana walks up to the Kryptonian to check in her.

"Kara?"

Kara looks to see the Amazon.

"Where's Thor?" she asked.

"With Jane tending to her wounds." Explained Diana.

"We were no match for him. How are we supposed to stop him? We got out asses kicked, I nearly killed Billy, I mean...we never stood a chance" said Kara.

"I know. But that doesn't mean we give up. We can't" said Diana.

Kara sat on the floor with her back against the wall.

"How are we supposed to stop him then?" Asked Kara laying her head back closing her eyes.

Diana walks over to sit next to her.

"I'm sure Thor can think up a plan. We just need a new tactic." said Diana.

"He got to me. Under my skin. Trying to put his narrative in my head. Got me thinking what if he's right" Explained Kara.

"Kara. Whatever that monster told you, it's not true. You know that. He's only merely trying to force the pain he feels onto everyone else." said Diana.

"We all threw everything we had at him, he just wouldn't go down. When I threw the hammer, I'd thought I was saving Billy but...he threw him as I threw the hammer. How am I supposed to be Supergirl if I can't even save a kid? Let alone stop a God Butcher." Kara asks.

"Have faith Kara. Have faith in whatever you believe in." said Diana.

She got up and helped Kara to her feet as a doctor walks over to the ladies.

"The boy will live. He's stable but weak. I suggest he rests for a while"

Elsewhere Jane was getting bandages wrapped around her as Thor walks in.

"Jane? Are you okay?"

"I'm fine Thor. *winces* I'll live" said Jane.

"We were outmatched. He was too strong for us to fight even together. Even all of us as the strongest couldn't stop him."

"Thor, this isn't over. If we don't stop, he will wipe out all the Gods in known existence and destroy New Asgard. Who knows if he will even stop there" Explained Jane.

"You're right. If I was able to beat him long ago we can do that again. First we need to regroup and come up with a better plan." said Thor.

A time portal opens up as out came a familiiar face that even got Thor looking on in shock and disbelief.

"Hello brother"

"Loki?" Asked Thor

Gorr's domain, somewhere in the cosmos

The God Butcher returns after his brutal battle in Siberia as he also brought with him Gods but alive.

"A few more for the road."

Gorr placed the Gods with the other ones he ended up sparing during his crusade.

"My bomb is almost ready. When it is, it will kill every God at once. Before, now and ever will be. Once I bring forth Thor, I shall plunge this into the timestream and set it off."

"Hmmm. Yet as easily I disposed of Thor and his little crew of Gods, they did put up a fight. I

wasn't able to kill one of them without getting hit by another. And that boy. The power of the Gods in one being? Perhaps I should've taken the bastard with me. But that damn Amazon. She's proven formidable. The Gods have blessed that one. Which is why when I kill her it will be the most satisfying of all."

Hours later back on New Asgard..

"SHAZAM!"

The crackle and boom of lightning blasts upon Billy returning to his Shazam firm.

"*coughing* What happened? Where am I?"

"Your back on New Asgard Billy" said Diana

"Oh thank goodness!" shouts Kara running to hug him.

"Uhh. You throw that hammer pretty hard Kara.

"I'm so so sorry. I didn't mean for you to get hurt." said Kara squeezing tighter.

"Ironically...I think you're squeezing the life out of me" said Billy as Kara lets go.

"Frankly better you than that Gorr guy. By the way, did we win?" Asked Billy.

"Oh I'm afraid not young Batson" said a voice as the three turn to see none other than Loki, Thor and Jane.

"Who the hell are you?" Asked Diana

"I am Loki. God of Mischief. The rightful ruler of the Joutenheim. And his brother. So to speak *refers to Thor*" introduced Loki.

"Loki? You're the one Thanos killed. Wait how can this be possible?" Asked Kara.

"Allow me to elaborate miss Zor-El"
