Honestly speaking, I didn't know what to think about Nico. So, I didn't know what to feel when he was sorted into Gryffindor and took a seat next to me.

"Hi. Uh sorry for asking but what's your last name again?" asked Hermione.

"Hi again. Uhh di angelo why?" Nico replied

"Oh nothing" But I knew there was something

"ok" said Nico even though he seemed unconvinced.

And before I knew it, I was in bed. I woke up relatively early and went for a walk where I met Hermione. Not at all to my surprise she was reading a book.

"What're you doing?" I asked her

"Oh Harry! I was reading up on the di Angelo family and look! They're descendants of Salazar Slytherin himself they were thought to have died out in 1932.

"Didn't anyone tell you its rude to snoop into other people's business?" Nico said coming out from behind a bookshelf. Hermione looks horrified and takes a step back before I would react, Nico spoke up.

" I know I probably look like an evil dark wizard right now, but I can assure you that I am not. I guess it might sound very lame, but I didn't even know this about my family till now. And no, I wasn't eavesdropping I was looking for a book and you were talking very loudly so in conclusion I'm sorry for eavesdropping accidently and I hope you won't judge me because of the rest of my family and the next time you snoop on me I will not be this nice."

"Ok we'll try" Hermione said, she apparently understood quickly but it took my brain three extra seconds to understand. Well Sirius came from a long line of Slytherins, but he was nice so, I decided to give Nico a chance.

" Sure, but can I ask you a few questions" I said and judging by their expressions I spoke after a long pause.

"depends. If they're too personal I won't answer"

"ok. Are you a Pureblood?"

"yes. I guess."

"Ok, do you have any siblings?"

"I had a full sister who was killed by a giant. But I have a half sister now."

"Oh, I'm very sorry" I felt bad for him I lost my parents, it hurt, and I knew it.

"What about your parents?"

" My Uncle killed my mom, and my dad didn't stick around, my sister basically raised me after that then she got killed and My dad's side of the family asked me to stay at a camp I was pretty mad so I ran away till my cousin dragged me around a killer- and I mean like a killing- maze with him and made me come back so that's how my family is." Before I could even process that Nico said, " you'll understand if I don't want to answer the rest of your questions, right?" and he walked out leaving me and Hermione starstruck.

I made my way to breakfast and I noticed that Nico wasn't there. What if I brought back bad memories by asking him to tell me about his family? Guilt overwhelmed me but I saw Ron and filled him in on what happened.

"Blimey, He's like fifteen I feel really bad for him I can't even Imagine what that'd be like" Ron said and shuddered

I nodded " Lets get to divination. Maybe he'll be there."

Turns out, much t my surprise, he was there at divination. Professor Trelawney, as usual, predicted my death and awful things that'll happen to everyone.

"Your Uncle's son will drown, my dear" she told Nico. Funnily he just laughed at her.

"The daughter of another uncle will be hit by lightning" Again he laughed

"You will be killed by the Ghost King" This made him laugh the hardest.

Those were perfectly normal ways to die why was he laughing? I was irritated, this boy is so confusing.

Suddenly Professor Trelawney gasped and spoke

Darkness rises from the pit

With intention to rule as he sees fit

The Golden Trio learns the truth

One goes back to his youth

The Ghost King used as bait

The scarred to choose to trust or hate

War will happen once again

Did she just say a real prophecy? I didn't understand a word. I should've noted it down. Oh No! Everyone was gaping at the Professor Trelawney. She blinked " Sorry I must have zoned out there."

Nico stood up glared at her. Slammed the door shut and left.
