Thoughts: ' He is... '
Two Months Later,
In the Rehab Gym,
Sasuke is doing some heavy workouts which have now brought out some muscle from his body. His arms had more muscle and his chest was broad. He looked like a boxer in making. All the light exercises he did when he had a weak heart now boosted the efficiency of workout in his body. After he stopped, he had a brief thought of the surgery that happened to him.
*Flashback*
Sasuke woke up in a surrounding full of darkness. He could touch the ground but cannot see what it is. Everything was downright black. Suddenly, a figure appeared there. The figure reveals to be a man of 32 or so. Sasuke asked, " Who are you? ". The man answered, " You can call me Kutaragi. I happen to be the heart donor for you.". Sasuke asked surprised, " Really? ". Kutaragi replied, " Yes! ". Sasuke asks, " But why? ". Kutaragi asks in confusion, " 'Why?' ".
Sasuke explained, " Why would you give it to me? You could've donated it to someone else. So, Why me? ". Kutaragi asked, " Why? Why do you not want to live? ". Sasuke replied, " My Life has no meaning. I'm someone who people never even acknowledge. Living is the same as dead." Why do you say so? Why do you not want to go back? ". He said, " Kutaragi-san, I am scared. I am scared of the loser I am. I can't even do dumbells without a doctor's concern. Who would take care of me? Who would want me in their life? ".
Kutaragi replied, " Answer to your 1st question: I don't know to who I donated my heart since I'm dead. And for the 2nd one and last one: Some people do care about you and want you in their lives.". Sasuke asked, " Who- ". a voice familiar to Sasuke spoke. " Even if everybody in the world hates you, even if you can't do anything, I'll always love you. So...So...Just stay with me like you promised to damn it! ".Sasuke was shocked by those words that he heard. All of the fear he had vanished and he shouted, " Kushina ". No matter how loud he shouted, it never reached her. Kutaragi said, " Quit shouting she can't hear ya! ". Sasuke's head went down.
Kutaragi sighed and spoke, " Listen, kid, if you want to stay here, you can and cause her pain or You can choose to live for that woman who loves you more than yourself. Plus, I'd help you become successful. ". Sasuke asked raising his head, " How? ". Kutaragi replied, " Will only tell if you accept! ". Sasuke thinks a little and sighs. He says smiling, " Seems like I've got no choice huh?. Okay, I choose to live. ". Kutaragi smirked and exclaims, " Now that's what I'm talking about. ". Kutaragi laid out his hand with a fist. Sasuke bumped his fist on Kutaragi's. A wave of light engulfed them while their faces held happiness of contentment.
*Flashback End*
He thought: ' In the end, our personalities merged, didn't they?. Now, with our plus points merged and my body functions in every way. I'll change myself and make the best of this life.'.
In Kushina's House,
Sasuke walks into the house at night time after a long day of rehab. He tried to switch on the lights but it seemed to have no power. Sasuke gets nervous and becomes alert. He walked to the room where the main control is. When he entered, the room was darker than the rest of the house. He walked to the main and found that the main switch is off.
He switched it on and all the lights were on. He walked out of the room and turned around. Kushina shouted, " Happy Birthday! ". Sasuke was surprised. Even he didn't remember his birthday. His eyes started letting out tears. Kushina hugged him and said, " Congratulations on becoming 17. ". Sasuke hugged her tight saying, " Thank You! Thank you Kushina! ", thinking: " and I'll always keep you happy. ". Sasuke says after calming down, " By the way, I'm out of rehab from now. ". Kushina smiled in happiness. She gave him a peck on his cheek saying, " Congratulations on getting better too. ". Sasuke kissed on her cheek. Kushina looked surprised. He then hugged her without a word. The rest of the night went on with them enjoying their company.
The Next Day,
Sasuke enters the swimming pool. He went to the lockers to get the tools. On the way, He could hear someone yell, " Sasuke! ". He turned around to find Konan.
Konan POV
I was walking out of my office. 'That Sasuke! Where the hell was he? He hasn't contacted me for a month. I've to hire someone else to clean for two whole months. It was one hell of a pain covering up his ass from Itachi. I'm so going to kill him.'
As I was near the lockers, I saw Sasuke. I yelled, " Sasuke! ". I was so going to kill him but when he turned around, I was astonished. Since when was he so handsome and hot? ' I felt my face heat up looking at his figure. C'mon Konan control yourself. You need to take a break. Yes! I'm just tired. '. I heard Sasuke calling me, "Konan! Konan! Konan!". I break out from my thoughts. I cleared my throat and asked him, " Where were you these days? Do you know how much trouble it was? ". Sasuke answered, " Well, I had some circumstances- ". I interrupted, " What circumstances? ".
Sasuke replied, " I was run down by a Truck ". I replied, " Okay then- ". I stopped. ' Did he just say he was run down by a truck? That means...'. I held him by the shoulders. Surprisingly, they were a lot bigger and broader. I asked him, " Did you just say you had an accident? ". He replied casually, " Yeah! ". ' How can he say that casually? If something happened to him, who'd answer to Itachi? '. I was about to yell at him when he said, " Stop worrying about me just because of my brother. I don't need it. I'll relieve you of it.". I couldn't believe that this was Sasuke. He would not even raise his voice. Now he's speaking bolder. I asked him, " What do you mean? ".
Sasuke replied, " I Quit!. Don't worry about my brother. I'll inform him about it. So, find some other idiot for cleaning! ". Sasuke walked out throwing his ID at me.
