What up, everyone? NiteOwl18 is back with a brand new chapter of The Storm Sorcerer.

Chapter 4: Advice and Two Heroes

At a local dance club, two strangers entered the building. Instead of dancing like the rest to the beat of the music, they have intentions.

"Any signs of the target?" The male placed his hand on his ear radio. He scanned through the crowd filled with people dancing.

"Negative. He's gotta be here," Cody spoke. His voice rose higher than the large beat.

"Don't worry, Storm Sorcerer. After I got the intel from that guy, his boss is meeting a couple of customers for his drug business."

"At a dance club. That's...subtle," Cody muttered. "What's your location, Elastigirl?"

"At a bar," Storm Sorcerer looked up to see his partner at the bar counter. A brief smile entered his face. It was nice he and Elastigirl had team up ever since they took out that mine-like villain. They were quite the partners.

Elastigirl's brown eyes caught a formal dressed man breaking away from the dancing with a couple of girls and entering a room.

"Storm Sorcerer, I spotted our friend going up the stairs. And he got more customers," Elastigirl spoke with urgency to her ear radio.

The man led the girls to the top of the second floor, and went right to an office with two bodyguards.

"They're with me," The man said, jabbing his thumb at them. One bodyguard opened the door, and they entered inside. "Hey Rex, got some more potential clients," He sported a charming grin. His boss leans against the desk with an emotionless look; he was the owner of the club, though his appearance doesn't suit with a business persona. He was around in his late twenties. Bald, pointed ears, wide eyes with dark circles around them, a piercing at the bottom of his right eye and bottom lip, dark long sleeve shirt, purple pants with multiple pockets, and cuffs in each wrist.

"This is your boss, Glenn?" One girl with a bob cut hair spoke with a weird out expression.

"Trust me. He's a mastermind of this stuff," Glenn spoke back with a grin. "Rex, show them the goods."

"The money," Rex demanded coldy. The girls took out cash from their purse and handed them to the emo boss. Rex counted the money and nodded his head once. He put the money in one of his many pockets. His large hand then took out a small bag of drugs. The business exchange was interrupted by the door being blown up by a lightning bolt. The bag was then snatced out of his hand.

"Sorry girls. You don't wanna deal drugs with a creep," Storm Sorcerer quipped. Behind him was Elastigirl who had the bag of drugs in her hand.

"You said you weren't followed," Rex turned to his associates with a glare. The girls flee in terror, and Glenn pulls out a pistol, only for Elastigirl to stretch her hand to twist his wrist and send his whole body at the wall. Both heroes looked at the boss.

"Selling drugs to your customers is a ticket to jail, Rex," Elastigirl spoke at the boss. Rex doesn't show any fear. "How about you come with us quietly without alarming your entire club?" She insisted.

"Let's take this guy in," Storm Sorcerer moves to arrest the boss. Then Rex quickly removed his hands from his pocket to summon two pistols.

"Get down!" Elastigirl pulls away from Storm Sorcerer out of the office when the bullets start firing. Throwing his guns away, Rex rushed out of the office to jump out of the balcony and landed on the dance floor, shocking the crowd. He then fled the club.

As he was running through the street, both heroes appeared on a rooftop with Storm Sorcerer commenting "Damn, he runs fast!"

"Can you shoot a thunderbolt?" She asked.

"Not without stopping his heart."

"Then fly us there!" Elastigirl wrapper her arms on his neck and legs around his torso. Storm Sorcerer's face turned red at the position before focusing on capturing the emo-like boss. Both heroes flew up to the skies to chase after Rex.

Rex's eyes saw the heroes above him and took out another gun. Storm Sorcerer freezes the bullets with his hands. Storm Sorcerer floats ahead at the drug dealer.

"Now!" He ordered, and Elastigirl drops below with her whole body extending like a large rubbery paper onto Rex. He struggles to get out as Elastigirl downgrades her stretching abilities. Storm Sorcerer lands on the ground to see his partner apprehended the emo-like villain with her right heel pressing against his back.

"Nice job, Elastigirl," Storm Sorcerer gives her a thumbs up. The heroine smiles back. He leaned on the defeated villain. "Rex, your days of selling drugs to your customers are over. Looks like your club is going to need a new owner; one who's not afraid of us and with actual personality." Rex gave them a blank look in response. "Uh, this is the part where you say 'I'll get my revenge' or something. You gotta work on your communication, pal," He sweatdropped.

"Storm Sorcerer and Elastigirl just exposed the owner of a dance club in selling drugs last night," Sierra presented her friends the article from her phone.

"With the owner's appearances, I'm surprised nobody suspected him of doing illegal crimes," Noah commented.

"And people are reacting by seeing both the heroes in the club!" The purple haired girl showed them the comments. "My shipping sense is through the roof!" She squealed.

"Guess you were right about them being partners, Sierra," Cody chuckled.

"Now if only I can get a picture of them."

"Then you're gonna need somebody to do the job," Izzy hopped up and down with a grin.

"Izzy, me and Owen have just separated you from a classmate during your quest of finding more superheroes," Noah reminded the orange haired girl.

"And I'm still finding them!" Izzy looked around the hallway. Some of her friends chuckled in amusement. Cody pauses his laughter to see Helen walking with a couple of girls whom she guessed are her friends. Helen saw Cody and waved at him with a cute smile. Cody responded with a waving back. When Cody turned around, his friends were grinning mischievously.

"What?"

"You were waving at your neighbor," Noah smirked.

"So?"

"Your aura brightens yellow when Helen walks past you," Dawn said, making Cody groan a little. "And your heart beats faster."

"Aww, my little Codykins has a crush on his neighbor," Sierra cooed.

"You should ask her out, Cody," Zoey urges him. Cody hesitates a little and rubs his neck.

"If not, some other guys might ask her out first. I heard that Lightning has her eyes on her," Harold added.

"Pfft, like a gal like Helen would go out with an asshole like Lightning," Cody scoffed. A football hit Cody on the right temple. "Oww!"

"Wanna repeat that again, Anderson?" On cue, the quarterback sneered as he picked up his football, and Scott, Amy, and Jo.

Cody glared back while rubbing his head, "Have you been standing there this entire time?" He asked.

"Just when we caught you making pervy eyes at Helen Truax," Amy crossed her arms in disgust.

"Give it up, nerd. No way a pervert like you can land a with a girl like her without asking for a bra in return," Scott cackles as he insults Cody's self-esteem.

"And you?" Noah remarked back at the country redneck.

"Watch yourself, Know-it-all," Jo threatened a little, and turn to Cody. "How is it that Helen, Miss Perfect Straight-A Student, lives in the same block as you? Tell me, does she know that you stare at her in her bedroom at night?"

"N-No!" Cody argued.

"Just when you stop chasing after the goth, you go chasing another girl. I hope you haven't done anything like being a peeping tom!" Amy loudy announces at the end of her sentence.

"More trouble, McAuley?" The mean cheerleader turns to see Bob and Lucius; both glaring at the four bullies.

"Bob Parr and Lucius Best!" Cameron gasped in a whisper.

"Just when we kick both Jackson and Fowler's asses, you're here making accusations," Lucuis said to the mean cheerleader. He saw Cody and smiled briefly "What up, Cody?"

"Hey Lucius, Bob," Cody greeted, surprising his friends.

"You two got lucky! Lightning isn't afraid of kicking two Americans!" The quarterback declared.

"Threatening two exchange students, wonder what the coach might say?" Bob asked with a smirk. Lightning lowers his hands growling and leaves the hallway. His friends followed through.

"Don't know what Sammy ever seen in you," Amy muttered bitterly at the blond haired teenager and left.

Bob and Lucuis turn to the chestnut boy who grin at them and said "Thanks,"

"Don't mention it. You guys should move along to your class. Be seeing you at Spanish class, Cody," Lucuis gave a finger gun motion at the boy and he and Bob left.

"Dude, you're friends with Bob Parr and Lucius Best?!" Owen spoke in surprise at Cody.

"Didn't I tell you guys before?" Cody said. All of them shake their heads negatively. "Shoot. Both of them saved my ass from Duncan, Scott, Lightning, and Jo. And Helen saved me as well."

"But they're two of the most popular guys at school," Harold reminded. "They should be hanging out with someone with a higher status."

"They're not completely assholes like Lightning and Heather," Cody said back. The friends resume walking.

"As true to his words, I don't find any superior complex in their auras," Dawn added to back up Cody's statement.

"Helen told me I should hang out with them."

"Wow, hanging out with two Americans and your sexy next neighbor gal. That's gotta be some night!" Sam chuckled. Cody's face turned a little red when his friend referred to Helen.

"This could raise your reputation a bit," Noah advised him. "The whole school admires those two just like Alejandro, except they're not manipulated as him. Great at sports. Good grades. Got girls falling for him. And earned two girlfriends at the spot."

"I can't believe I lost Leshawna to Lucius Best," Harold grumbled in jealousy of his crush of a certain bootylicious gal going out with one of the exchange students.

"Let it go, Harold," Sierra sighed.

"And Amy's twin is dating Bob. I find them really sweet," Zoey gushes. "You should definitely hang out with them, Cody. It will be great for you to have new friends, and get to know Helen more. How about inviting them to go bowling?"

This took Cody a moment to pause and reflect on what the red haired girl had said. It wouldn't hurt Cody to hang out with Bob and Lucuis since they saved his life twice. And possibly Helen, if she wants to join. The image of her smile and waving at him float in his head. A smile form, "Ok. I'll give it a try."

The friends smiled and cheered. Noah announces "If we're done cheering for Cody's quest in making new friends and getting a new gal, we got class to go," His friends followed the cynical dark skinned friend. Cody paused on what Noah had said.

"I'm not getting a girlfriend!" Cody shouted.

"Never said the word girlfriend!"

A bowling ball hit some of the pins.

"Damn, another gutter ball," Cody muttered.

"Good try, Cody!" He turned to see Helen giving him some cheering up as she clapped her hands. The chestnut boy went back to his seat as Lucuis gave him a friendly pat on the back. He sat down between Helen and Bob.

"Thanks for inviting us to go bowling, Cody," Bob said as he drank his cola.

"No problem. But it was Helen's idea that wanted me to ask you guys back then. My friends helped me work up the courage," Cody admitted.

"You got some great friends, Cody," Bob admitted as he ate a nacho chip. "We got classes with some of them," Cody thanked Bob for the comment.

"They're alright, though that one kid with the red hair who has a big mouth kept eyeing me back at Calculus," Lucuis recalled with a wary look.

"You mean Harold? Yeah, he's kinda got it out for you since you're dating Leshawna," Cody admitted, drinking his soda. Lucuis made an "Oh" in understanding what he meant.

"Woo! Got a strike!" Helen shouted in glee. She walked back to her booth with a smirk. Lucuis ate more of his chips and stepped up to bowl. Helen sat next to Cody; the tech geek remained a calm face sitting next to his attractive neighbor. "How are you and Lucuis liking Canada?" She asked the blond haired teenager.

"It's alright," Bob leaned his back against the soft seats with his arms resting. "We meet some interesting people. The students were surprised to see two gentlemen from America coming here. When people said Canada is filled with nice people, I thought it was just a stereotype."

"I never asked where you and Lucuis are held from," Cody said.

"Metroville. Nice place to live, except crime never sleeps."

"Welcome to Wawanakwa, pal. Lucky, you got two cool superheroes."

"Talking about the latest scoop of the town's heroes on our hang out? Never picture you for a huge fan boy," Lucuis spoke as he swung the ball to the pins. He got seven out of ten pins.

"I ain't a uber fan boy who talks about heroes a lot. Just the ones I admired, like Storm Sorcerer," Cody said, rubbing the back of her neck.

"How about Elastigirl?" Helen asked, taking a few chips from her plate.

"Oh, she's amazing," Cody answered quickly.

"That's the kind of girl you like? Flexible and fights crime in a leotard?" Helen teases. Cody chokes on his drink.

"I ain't a pervert if you're suggesting," He protested. Helen giggled at his blunt statement.

"I'm kidding, Cody. You're not the first boy who has a thing for Elastigirl. I hear some risque things about her I'm not in liberty to discuss."

"What about Storm Sorcerer?" Cody asked, taking a bite of his pizza. He was interested to hear some comments regarding his alter-ego.

"Let's see what I learn of his fans. He's incredible. He's handsome. He's sexy. He's dashing. He's a fraud," Helen listed off the words from her brain from what anyone is saying about said hero. Cody kept himself from grinning too largely until he heard the last word Helen spoke.

"Excuse me? A fraud?" Cody said, confused.

"That's what Sugar and Leonard are both saying."

"Oh."

"Leonard, he's the kid who dresses up like a wizard at school?" Bob asked, and both Cody and Helen nodded their heads.

"Don't remind me of him. That guy won't shut up about the dude being a fake. He claims he's the only wizard in town. At Science class, we were partner up for an assignment and he tried muttering some stupid spell to take out of the organs of a frog. If I have to hear one more word outta that guy, I'm gonna slap him hard," Lucuis stated, clearing being annoyed by the wannabe wizard's 'spells'.

"Excluding Sugar, nobody can't stand Leonard, not even me and my friends," Cody nodded his head, agreeing what Lucuis was saying.

Lucuis returned to his seat and told Bob he was next. The blonde teenager got up for his turn. Helen finishes her drink and raises up from her booth.

"I'm going to refill my drink," She spoke. Cody watches her leave.

"You like that girl, huh?" Lucius laughed as he ate some chips. Cody turns around with a stammer expression. "It's written all over your face."

"She is wonderful," Cody admitted with a love sick grin.

"Tell her how you feel instead of eyeing her like a perv."

"It's not that easy, Lucuis. I'm not very good with girls. I get slapped and kicked in the crotch everytime I get close to a girl," Cody protested, recalling the countless times he got harshly rejected by every girl in school.

"Is that why you're not a ladies man? I heard a couple of guys in the locker room said you claim you are and hit every girl," Bob asked, clicking his tongue in defeat as he nearly got a perfect strike.

"That's the old me. I learned my lesson when Gwen rejected me," Cody made it perfectly clear he wanted nothing to do regarding his fake persona.

"Because you were pretending to be just like the other guys at school. Take our advice; don't adapt to their nature."

"I wish I was like you two. You're both confident and got every girl chasing you until you started dating," Cody sighed.

"We got girls because we got to know them better. I started hanging out with Leshawna by taking her to the movies. We had a good time and she likes me and I like her back," Lucuis recalled when he went out with the bootylicious black beauty.

"Same thing with me and Sammy. When I found her in the park, I comforted her as she told the horrible treatment she suffered from her family and twin sister. I told her she can come to my house whenever there's trouble. My folks love her as they saw the kindness in her," Bob smile briefly at his girlfriend.

"When I introduced my folks to Leshawna, my momma spoiled her like she wanted a daughter and my pops arm wrestled with her and she won. Try getting to know her better, Cody. Invite her over to your house next time."

"I will. Thanks, guys,"

Helen returned home with her drink refilled and said "Game over, already?"

"No. It's Cody's turn," Lucuis said. The tech geek got up to grab the bowling ball. His mind reflects on a certain brunette. Turning his head, he caught Helen chatting with Bob and Lucuis. Helen saw Cody looking at her and waved at him. With a small grin, he rolls the bowling ball.

Cody, dressed in his Storm Sorcerer outfit, sat on the edge with Elastigirl next to him. Both were leaning down on the empty streets. Despite the quiet, the hero's mind wasn't focused. The tech geek is still thinking back what Bob and Lucuis told him of telling Helen how he feels and getting to know her better.

"Something on your mind?" Elastigirl notices her partner was too quiet.

"It's nothing," He shakes his head.

"Hey, I'm your partner. You can tell me," Elastigirll put her hand on his shoulders with a confronting look. Storm Sorcerer let out a sigh.

"It's this girl I like," Storm Sorcerer revealed. Elastigirl raises an eyebrow. "We go to the same school and share the same classes. I have...a crush on her."

"Oh? What's she like?"

"She's beautiful. She's kind. She's intelligent. She's the only girl who ever talks to me the longest without slapping me or kicking me in the crotch. Girls at my school aren't attracted to me, even when I try to pretend to be like a cool guy. And this girl isn't interested in manly guys. And I find that amazing," Cody breifty revealed his without saying the name.

"Sounds like she's perfect for you," Elastigirl grinned.

"Yeah. Then two of my friends say I should get her to know her more. I don't know if she'll like me back."

"Want my advice? Be brave like you're out there fighting crime. And if she doesn't like you back, then she's not the one. You seem like a good guy behind those shades," Elastigirl encourages him to try.

Chuckling at her comment, Storm Sorcerer fixes his shades and says "Thanks, partner."

Their moment was interrupted when they saw a car speeding at 50 miles per hour, indicating they're running from a crime they committed. Elastigirl nods her head and jumps off the building to shift her body like a glide suit while Storm Sorcerer flies up to chase the car. Both heroes saw the car stopping at a factory.

The thieves entered the building and hid at the third level. One of them held a bag, only to dump it on the floor to reveal a couple of jewels.

"Ha, what I tell you? Easy!" One of the thieves exclaimed.

"You think the cops or those super freaks follow us?" Another thief wondered as he checked out outside from the window.

"If they did, we're ready for them," A third thief declared with his pistol. Then he heard something from the otherside of the ridge. It alarmed the rest of the thieves. The thief with the gun stepped forward with a cocky grin, "You two heroes have about ten seconds before I fill your non-shield bodies with bullet holes!" He didn't get a response; the gun points at the empty side. "Last warning! Freeze!"

"You said the magic word," A voice said, right as a gust of ice wind hit the thief. The gang watches their comrade frozen from head to toe. When the hero emerges from the darkness, the rest of the thieves are taken back from his appearances.

"Hang on, you're not-!" Another thief shouted before he was frozen.

"Let's get outta here!" The rest of the gang ran away and descended down the stairs in a hurry. One thief ended up bumping into something. All of them stopped running to see a large figure blocking their exit. Said figure had both of his knuckles crack and process to walk at the frightening thieves.

Storm Sorcerer and Elastigirl arrived inside the building. Both heroes looked around to find the thieves. The heroine saw the bag of jewels on the ground. When her head leans up, she gasps at the sight of the two frozen thieves. She and Storm Sorcerer looked at the frozen thieves with beliwerdement crosses their faces.

"A little rough on your ice powers, huh?" Elastigirl said to her partner.

"I didn't do this," Storm Sorcerer shakes his head. He touches the ice with his glove hand. "I only throw snowballs and freeze their hands and legs, not turn them into icicles," Storm Sorcerer leans down on the ground to see the rest of the thieves on the ground. Both heroes went to find all of them knock unconscious.

"Sorry we handle your job," A voice spoke, causing both heroes to look at two figures. Both of them were taken aback at their appearances. On the right was a tall and slender man wearing a white and light-blue one piece suit, mask that covers his head except the mouth and goggles. To his next was an exceptionally tall and muscular blonde man wearing a light and black one piece suit and a domino mask. Both heroes noticed on the man's board chest was a large 'I' symbol that consisted of a rectangle black shape and huge red circle on top.

"You guys did this?" Storm Sorcerer asked.

"We saw the car stopping at the factory and took care of it ourselves. Nothing serious than a couple of cat burgers," The man in the white and light-blue suit spoke. "Name's Frozone."

"Mr. Incredible," The other man spoke.

"Thank you for the assistance. We're-" Storm Sorcerer thanked them and was cut off mid-sentence by Mr. Incredible.

"Storm Sorcerer and Elastigirl. We read the news of you two stopping the nightclub owner."

"I never thought we would meet two other heroes. I thought it was just me and Elastigirl," Storm Sorcerer said, still surprised at meeting two new heroes.

"We never expected to run into you two. Again, sorry for handling your work," Frozone spoke with sincerity.

"Eh, it's no problem. Just glad to have two new heroes in town," Elastigirl shrugged her shoulders.

"If we're done here, we gotta get going before the cops find us here," Mr. Incredible proclaimed. The four heroes then left the building to leave behind the unconscious thiefs (followed by the two frozen thieves) for the cops.

Storm Sorcerer and Elastigirl were in an alley to discuss what they discovered back at the factory.

"Two new heroes in one night, how lucky is that?" Storm Sorcerer said with a large grin that made Elastigirl giggle.

"They seem ok in our standards. Perhaps we'll see them again soon," Elastigirl said back. She prepares to leave the alley. "See you around, partner. Remember my advice regarding that girl."

"I will. Thanks Elastigirl," Storm Sorcerer waved and the heroine stretched her arms to climb herself on top of the building.

Sorry it's not thrilling like the other chapters. Been preoccupied with work and other stories. At least they meet Mr. Incredible and Frozone. Next chapter is when they form a team. Other good news, I have come up with a villain while I was sketching a character a while back. That's all I have to say. I'll see you guys later. NiteOwl18 out.
