AN/ SORRY FOR THE LATE UPDATE. DUE TO BAD INTERNET CONNCTION, I COULDN'T EDIT THE LAST PART. SORRY.

Ash watched her back, seeing her getting far. There' this feeling inside him, telling to pursue her and make sure she's alright and she forgive him for what happened. He knew the fault wasn't his but he somehow refused to believe that. Ash remember Mallow saying Lillie ain't no highly socialized girl and he can't imagine what's going through a girl like her. He mentally scolded himself for all the drama instead of telling her sooner. Would that help any better? Either way he's sure from now on there will be some awkward distance between them. She's already distant now. Ash had his own options. But he chose to give her time unless he wants to make things more complicated than it is.
Sighing he looked at Rotomdex who's now observing the berry trees nearby. At least someone has zero worries.

Ash then averted his eyes on Lillie watching her slowly walking to professor's house. He just have no reasons to stand there without a single clue on what to do next, so he followed her well tried to.
He don't know what happened but he fell. Something hit his head but have no idea what. He was shocked. Whatever hit him didn't cause any damages. Slowly getting up, he eyed the surroundings seeing there is a berry. That's strange. There's berry trees nearby but not this particular one. He was about to call Rotomdex he saw something small heading straight at him and he looked at the direction. Up at the trees, he finally saw the Pokemon. It glared back at him before rushing through the trees and disappearing. Ash couldn't stand another second without knowing it's whereabouts and intentions. He was sure it means no harm, otherwise he won't make it out the first time he encountered it.
Ash forgot about Lillie and pursuing after the unknown Pokemon. Rotomdex later joined as the two fastened their pace.
"The speed it's showing off is incredible-zzzt." Rotom commented then got in ash's backpack. Ash nodded understanding. He witnessed how much can it do. And that's the matter here. The Pokemon wasn't as fast as last time but not slow either. Each time he lost track of it, the Pokemon appears around so he can see it again.

Lillie entered professor's house heading straight to her room as quickly as possible. She's not comfortable walking around, dress all damp and messy. She could feel the cold creeping through her body, many times causing goosebumps. As she entered her room she closed it behind her and leaned against the wooden structure. She felt like drawing on the floor with her leg finger, a childhood habit of whenever she felt uneasy, most importantly nervousness. Her life never was normal to start with. She had to go through worse things possible and each night lose sleep because of nightmares. She bit her bottom lip, another sign of possible uneasiness or she automatically does that when she's in deep thoughts. In all her lifetime, she had a clue what the cause of her uneasiness or simply say she knew what's happening to her until everything... changed.
She had no luck finding out what's going on her mind anymore. The brain she have isn't enough it seems. She don't know what to think or where to start thinking. She's lost... she's lost in her own thoughts, can't comprehend anything in it. It all started with this raven haired boy' arrival in her life. She somehow felt for him. Whatever he does get a reaction from her. That's what the question bothering her the most. Why she care? Now what happened in the last few minutes, she can feel the uneasiness grow. But why? Aside from the fact that Ash saw her like this, there's more than that. She placed both her hands on her chest and feel her heart beating faster than usual. She only knew Ash matters to...her? But yet again she's clueless. Sighing a fresh breath, she decided to think things fresh minded and can't forget she has to get ready soon and call Mallow. Maybe she'll cheer Lillie up a little.

Lillie couldn't get anything done. Her hair was a mess clothes all wrinkled and she has no idea how to iron it properly. She wore another set of clothes consists of a white crop top and short magenta skirt, knee length white socks and white shoes. But still she wasn't comfortable wearing it. She looked wierd in her own perspective. 'Like she's watching some one else in the mirror. All the time she preferred her same looking white dresses and wearing this she's not quite confident enough. What happened to her other white dresses? Well what happened with Ash this noon made her nervous to wear them for some unknown in her life made her believe and love the white dresses and big hat, whatever other clothes she tries wasn't as attractive as it should be. Well she's trying her best to forget that 'person'. Lillie little bit adjusted the wrinkles on her outfit but there's still a thing lacking but not sure what is it. Lillie called Mallow hoping she'll help her out, an hour ago and still she' not here.
Lillie cannot afford wasting time so her best option was to get dressed and Mallow will help her out with her makeup and hair. There' still two hours left for the festival and that's a relief.
Then she noticed in the mirror, she has a frown on her face. She shrugged it off with a smile but the frown never left her. Well in the billion problems of her life now there's one more added.

Lillie then sat down on her bed waiting for a green head to barge in scold and drag her to the festival. Mallow is always strict when times like this happens. Her sparkling green eyes looked around her room noticing all the details she never cared to notice. A flower pot in the corner to the books on the shelf. She's really surprised how much of the big stuff she missed when it's too big to miss. Unknowingly, a small smile plastered her lips amused by her own silliness. Well the smile never lasts for her. That's her fate. Her eyes landed on a photo frame. To remember all things happened to her from the start, the photo was a best reminder. Bad nightmare filled reminder. She ain't interested to be honest, rather thankful it's all over. The photo framed in designed brown polished wood and the glass all shattered but still holding on. Lillie could not bare with it and she throwed it across the room back at her old house. But still she keep it with her all the time, unable to leave it behind.

Taking a deep breath she eyed the people on the photo. Three people actually. First one was a small girl with golden blonde locks and wore a one piece blue swimsuit, red rose petals designing the chest part. Her face filled with joy and happiness, green sparkling eyes staring at the camera. Then a boy next to her, an hand over her shoulder, smiling as well. He has the same features of the small girl, green eyes gold blonde hair and the difference between them was the height. He's a bit more taller than her and wore a black shorts. And last of all, a tall lady, her hands on top of the children's head smiling at them. She's so beautiful and attractive with those slender and long pale body covered by two piece dark bikini. Like her little children, she has long golden blonde locks almost covering her whole back like protection from direct sunlight. Her eyes were the same green color with an extra attractiveness to it. Lillie got nervous looking at the woman, no...She got scared watching the woman.

Before her mind think anything else, she heard the door open and Mallow rushed in with a pissed off look. Lillie gave pleading look which the green head refused to accept. "You better have a good explanation for this. And no excuses." Mallow gave a death glare to the blonde who gulped hard. Speaking of Mallow being strict, Lillie should have known how busy the poor girl is. "Mallow, please don't be so mad. I promise I'll make it up with you." Lillie begged and then a fruit like Pokemon came into the room happily looking around and Lillie took advantage of it. "Wow, your Bounsweet is okay now. I really missed her." Lillie said waving at the small Pokemon who took the gesture way too seriously and jumped at the blonde chirping happily. Both girl' eyes widened and then it felt like the time was going slow, then an ear splitting scream left Lillie mouth and froze on the spot as the little Pokemon landed with her lap. Her intention was to change subject so Mallow won't rip her head off, and now her plan backfired on her. She's afraid of Pokemon after all.

Ash ran and ran now he end up here. A big flower field In middle of the jungle away from civilization so it still left untouched. The darkness didn't having the effect on the flower as they swayed by slight hot breeze spreading sweet scent of it at all directions calming any life forms cross paths. Due to night time Ash wasn't lucky enough to encounter any wild Pokemon and should wait till time comes. But he doesn't have much time to waste and decided to move forward. Flowers brushes his exposed shin as he walked slowly, looking around for a slight clue of that Pokemon. Rotomdex glided besides Ash and then they saw it. This time it wasn't running away, patiently waiting at the middle of the field. Eyes focused on Ash and Rotomdex scanned the Pokemon.

"I have no data on this Pokemon-zzzt. No name, stats, anything." Rotomdex announced.

But Ash wasn't surprised. Things like this happened countless times throughout all regions he visited. Many Pokemon there is that he saw that nobody else seen before. Maybe this Pokemon is one of those. A legendary or completely new Pokemon species. That's the two explanation for no data found on a Pokemon.

Ash moved close to the Pokemon keeping eye contact with it not risking lose it again. The Pokemon has yellow shield like shells and black body inside and an orange crest on IT'S head. That's enough description for Kukui when they see again. Hopefully he may know of it.

"Hello, I don't know what you are but I know you have some reasons behind appearing on me. Am I right?" Ash spoke his suspicion out loud. "And I am Ash Ketchum from Kanto." He introduced. That's a habit of his so it kinda slipped off his mouth.

The Pokemon silently hovered over the field still staring at him and closed it's shell.
Ash and Rotomdex looked at each of not sure what's that even mean. Should they run expecting to have a powerful move rushing at them or stand ground? Due to the lack of information on it even Rotomdex has no idea what came it do or what it's doing. Ash cautiously waited for a sudden action out of the blue but still showed he's calm outside.
"KOKKOO." It screeched making Ash cover his ears. Then the shield parted away revealing a bright object hovering in front of it and slowly it descended to Ash's level of reach which he eyed thoughtfully any amazed. He can pick up a shape as the bright glow decreased. Inside the glowing sphere, a white bracelet spinned around slowly and what appears to be a cream color crystal on it. Ash tilted his head at the Pokemon who waited there looking both Ash and the bracelet. Ash somehow found the hidden meaning behind it and nodded at the Pokemon. Either it's a death trap of one of it's greatest trickery or a valuable addition to his arsenal, later someday comes handy. Stretching out a shaky hand, a mere feet away the object all of a sudden came coiling around his wrist. To show his surprise, he fell back and looked at my bracelet now on his wrist not causing a single harm.

"Thank you." He said after examining the object side to side. The Pokemon nodded, a average person would miss it but Ash saw it's reaction before it's vanished as left him behind.

"What is this? I have never seen it before." Ash asked to himself and Rotomdex appeared on front of him startling him.

"Let's see, bucko. Wow.. you obtained a Z-ring and a Normalium-Z crystal-zzzt." Rotomdex congratulated.

"Huh? Z and a what crystal?"

"A bracelet allows both the trainer and their Pokemon to gather up enough energy to perform a Z-move. And a Z-move is a move that has enhanced power of a certain move based on which type of crystal you use one Pokemon. Normalium-Z, a normal type Z crystal than can used if your Pokemon learned any normal type moves. There's Z-crystal for all 18 types and to perform the Z move there's individual names for all the type moves. For example, a normal type Z move called the Breakneck " The long explanation confused the teen but he's got it.
"Half of it went straight through my head but I think I understand what you trying to say." Ash said getting up.
"Considering our business here is sorted, we should head to Iki town between two hours-zzzt" Rotomdex showed the reminder to Ash incase he forgets it.

Well that's what happened. He forgot he has an opponent waiting at this festival they were talking about. Ash freaked out and looked and at himself. He don't know where to go and also he needs a fresh pair of clothes.

"Rotom, do you know where are we?"

Rotomdex nodded opening a picture of the Alolan map and then the cursor zooms till it landed on their current position. They weren't that deep in the jungle. "To Iki town, you have to go right and estimated time of arrival is around twenty or so minutes. To home, it'll an hour or so." Rotomdex said and decided to head to Iki town after he finds a textiles.

"Then Iki town it is." Like before Rotomdex light the way so Ash can reach there peacefully. Even after Rotomdex keep bragging around, Ash wasn't paying attention to it. He just looked around watching the the dim forest and built up his fantasies of ghost type Pokemon come out of the bushes and scare them. At the worst times like these, Ash make things even worse by doing things. Nightmarish imaginations are one more those.
As a child Ash grew up using to go somewhere with Delia during night and thanks to that, he's not one of those who get wet pants while roaming around in it. Unless there is some serious matter occurred. Exploring the lavender town back in Kanto really helped him to get along with darkness pretty much.

"Say Rotom, is there any clothe store when we get to Iki town?" Ash asked and Rotomdex search through the map.
"It is possible we see few-zzzt." Ash nodded and thankful he has Rotomdex accompanying him.

"Maybe we should rush." Ash commented about to run.

"HOLD ON!" Rotom whisper yelled.

"What?" Ash asked and Rotomdex motioned to look forward and Ash did.
A gasp left his lips because what scene unfolded before his very eyes and it widened in shock. He saw a familiar figure right in middle of their path. A memory of that yellow rodent betraying their dreams flashed in his mind. Ash looked at the figure closely and knew it ain't no average Pikachu. It was different, like it's body looked handmade and somewhat successful Pikachu's body recreation with messed up face. It's face looks like drawn with a color pencil or something. Two unmatched swirly eyes drawn by black ink and it's cheeks has the same affect with red crayon. And it's mouth was black zigzag pattern with black ink. It has no hands and two 'dots' on its abdomen. The bottom part was pure black and has tail made of lighting shaped wood which wasn't even polished.
The yellow color of it's body was worn out and dim. It looks to be a Pikachu at first glance, however it's not. It then tilted it's head beyond physical limits as it's one ear perking up while the other to the sideways. Ash can't believe what have he witnessed and deep down he felt nervous. What if his nightmares coming true? "A Pikachu?" Ash mumbled and Rotomdex scanned it from a distance.

[Mimikyu. A disguise Pokemon. Ghost and fairy type. It's actual appearance is unknown. A scholar who saw what was under it's rag was overwhelmed by terror and died from the shock.]

"And it's also said to be have a dislike on Pikachu's and attack' one straight if one crossed it's path-zzzt." Ash nodded understanding. At least not only he has a rough spot for a Pikachu.

Well Ash felt slight uneasy and relieved at the same time. First was because of it's pokedex entry and relieved because it's not an actual ghost of a Pikachu.

"A Mimikyu, huh? Well I'll give it a shot." Ash mumbled and picked a Pokeball throwing it in the air and out came his starter. But he wasn't expecting it this way. Rowlet sat on the ground sleeping. Ash sweatdropped dangling his head. "Wake up Rowlet, it's not time to sleep." And he tried multiple times to wake his Pokemon up and got all irritated. "Fine, my way then, go pokeball." Ash threw a Pokeball at Mimikyu out of annoyance even after knowing it's useless. "To capture a Pokemon, first weaken it and then you'll have a successful capture." Rotomdex instructed as the ball hit the disguise Pokemon vacuuming it in. And it shaked. *1. 2...3*

"Yeah I...*ding*... know?" Ash stood there dumbfounded. What just happened? Is he dreaming or it was a weak Pokemon.

"IMPOSSIBLE! CAPTURING A POKEMON WITH ZERO DAMAGE ISN'T POSSIBLE. OH NO I THINK MY DATA ARE CORRUPTED." Rotomdex screamed panicking and still clicking photos of the pokeball. The disturbance was enough to wake up a sleepy head and Ash sweatdropped again. "KOO?" Rowlet looked around confused and looked up Ash and tilted it's head sideways blinking confirmed everything and flew on top of Ash' head. "I think you missed a lot buddy." Ash said petting the owl who happily let it's trainer strokes it's feathers.

Ash then moved closer and picked up the pokeball contains his new catch and his nervousness vanished a long time ago. He released the Mimikyu who appeared in front of him and sat there and made creepy sounds but Ash wasn't scared anymore instead he smiled at his new Pokemon. Mimikyu made sounds which Rotomdex understood.
"I think it can sense a distant relationship between you and something else, pal." Rotomdex said making Ash confused and the Mimikyu jumper at Ash and sat on his shoulder where a certain yellow pages used to sit and Ash didn't felt anything other than a little cold where Mimikyu sat and Ash little did understand what happened within last few minutes. Ash then recall Mimikyu in it's pokeball and he looked at it unknowingly a small smile appearing on his face.

Mallow already dragged Lillie to the festival not bothering to add something fancy look on her blonde hair. They simply dried it, that's all she needs to look presentable. Mallow was an active walking volcano all the time so Lillie didn't dare to complain and she also don't want to Mallow miss her duty at the festival.
As they approached Iki town they saw Kukui talking to an elderly man and a familiar face. Lillie separated with Mallow as they headed to their own destination. Lillie walked closer to the three people bumping people accidentally and apologizing with her not so loud voice. This time of the year everyone including her has this type of refreshing feeling and due to that Lillie had a smile on her face.

"Alola Professor. Alola Kahuna Hala." She called gaining their attention and the boy waved a hai. "You too Hau." Lillie waved back.

"Alola, there Lillie, you arrived just in time and Mallow was all furious when she went to get you. What happened?" Kukui replied.

Lillie blushed embarrassed about the whole thing. "I just ruined my first make up Mallow did for me, so yeah.." she replied not telling how she ruined her make up.

Kahuna Hala then spoke. "Alola,Hmm..long time no see, there young Lillie, hope you're well." Hala said.

"No, you were at Pokemon school last week. We did meet each other." Lillie corrected.

Hala laughed. "Oh my, silly me. This old man getting older I say." Hala comments and everyone smiled at their Kahuna.

Kukui looked around searching for a raven haired boy. "I wonder if Ash is with you Lillie?" He asked and Lillie felt a bit down after she heard his name. Last she saw him, he was running in the jungle and no clue what happened.

"He said he'll be back soon." Lillie guessed at least.

"Sure, we don't want him to miss his battle with hau." Kukui said.

"Oh that's his name huh? But I'm going to win for sure." Hau fist bumped into the air and others sweatdropped.

"My boy Hau, Kahuna blood pumping through your veins and we, Kahuna's never should underestimate an opponent. It only lower your gaurd." Hala scolded his grandson but smiled.

"Sure, but still I'll be the winner." Hau said releasing his Rowlet.
And they puffed their chest.

All of them sweatdropped. "I think Ash and Hau will deliver an excellent battle." Hala comments.
"That's only if Ash get here fast or we should pick another trainer ." Kukui said and Lillie wasn't thinking straight and blurts.

"NO.. I..mean he was hyper about the battle, I think he's on his way." She sounded desperate? Others nodded in agreement.

After few minutes of waiting Hala got on top of a wooden battle Ring where the battle gonna take place and stood on the middle.
"Alola, for all those gathered here from overseas, across the globe and around the islands of Alola, as the Kahuna of melemele island, I welcome your presence at this festival to thank the great guardian deity of melemele island, Tapu Koko. As our culture, we start this wonderful night with a Pokemon battle of two new trainers and trial goers to please the guardian." Hala announced gaining a strong happy Cheers. Lillie and Kukui looked around to see Ash but he's not here yet. Lillie wasn't sure what to do now. She deep in want Ash to battle but maybe he's not coming after what happened at the beach but that's not a problem that can hold Ash down, she hope so.

Hala saw this and there's no other option left. "The Pokemon battle begins now. And the first trial goer is the future Kahuna and my grandson, Hau." he introduced and Hau recieved a good amount of love from the crowd. "And the second trial goer.." Hala said and looked around the crowd. "Any of the first trial goer of this year, please feel free to come forward."

Lillie and Kukui lost their last hope. The crowd looked around and the many rookie trainers wasn't either confident enough or some still hasn't received their starters yet.

"What happened?" Lillie muttered watching the younger trainers ushering each other to go and battle but they don't move.

"Maybe they have stage fright. After all they never competed in front of a crowd." Kukui said crossing his hands. That make sense.

Hala was about to pick one of the little trainers until he saw a raised hand and the boy rushed past people and jumped up at the small battle field. Hala nodded. Lillie and Kukui have a small smile when they figured out the trainer. First they didn't noticed it was him because of his new outfit. He wore a long orange T-shirt that reaches his mid thigh and so many tribal designs all over it and a brown shorts with his old shoes and hat. He carried a small bundle of his dirty clothes and places it on the side. "Your name, son?"

"My name is Ash." he said. And Hala looked at Kukui who nodded.

"Well, we have our second trial goer who battle against Hau and he is, Ash." Hala introduced.

Lillie and Kukui was happy Ash made it but she wasn't sure how to face him anymore and Hala explained the rules as they took their positions and Hala was the referee.

"This is a one vs one battle. Each trainer will bring one Pokemon and either trainer has no pokemon left the trainer has Pokemon wins." Hala said. Hau and Ash smirked at each other and choose their pokeball.

"Ash and Hau has same starter Pokemon. That's going to be interesting." Kukui said.

"What? Hau has Rowlet too?" Kukui nodded.

"Now it depends on their skills, where this match gonna end."

Lillie nodded and she saw a little boy in front of them looking at Ash shocked and the woman holding his hands has a same expression. The boy happily looked at his mother and pointed at Ash which Kukui noticed as well. "Mommy that's Ash Ketchum." The boy said fang believe his eyes and the woman nodded.
That picked up their interests and looked at each other questioning. How do they know Ash?

"Excuse me?" Lillie tapped the woman's shoulder and two pairs of eyes looked at her. "Alola. Well, I have question. How do you know Ash?" She asked and the boy looked at her confused.

"Everyone knows, Ash Ketchum." The boy replied.

The woman wasn't surprised to see they aren't aware of Ash and who is he. "He's the Kalos league finalist." The woman replied and the boy snatched his mother's phone and clicked and looked at them.

"Ash is one of my inspiration. He and his Pokemon are awesome." The boy proudly stated as he showed the phone showing a picture of Ash with his Pokemon. A Pikachu on his shoulder and Greninja and other Pokemon either side of him.

Lillie and Kukui shocked to hear that. Ash never mentioned about any of these. Was he hiding all this. "Thanks." Lillie said and the two nodded enjoying the starting battle.

"Well that's new." Kukui muttered now having the idea of how Ash can deal with Pokemon so easily. They watched both trainers throwing pokeball in the air and out came two owl's.

"Whoa..you chose Rowlet too, huh? But I have experience with Rowlet more." Hau rubbed his nose proudly and Ash smirked at him.

"We'll see."

"BATTLE BEGIN."

"Rowlet, Leafage." Ash commanded and the owl flew up releasing tonado of leafs.

"You too, Rowlet. Then use peck." Both moves connected and without wasting any time Hau' Rowlet flew through both collided moves and hit Ash's Rowlet who got thrown back to the ground.

"Leaf blade, Rowlet." Hau ordered.

"Dodge it, and use tackle." Ash commanded and his Rowlet flew up and used tackle at Hau's Rowlet.

"Counter it with, leaf blade again." The tackle got disturbed by the sharp leafs But the tackle tore through the countless leafs and hit Hau's Rowlet. Due to slow down by the leaf blade, tackle didn't cause much damage.

Both Pokemon flew in the air and looked at one another. "Leafage again, Rowlet." The owl did as told and Hau smirked.

"Go inside it and use peck." Hau' Rowlet flew and gone inside the tornado from this side exited other side with peck, successfully hitting Ash' Rowlet who again hit the ground so hard and skidded a bit before halting.

Ash clenched his fist and he looked at Rowlet. "You okay, Rowlet? Can you stand up?" He asked and his Rowlet sleepily stood up and looked at Hau's Rowlet. "Alright, let's do this." Ash said tilting his hat backwards with hand the bracelet was strapped around. Hala and everyone noticed it.

"A Z-RING?" Kukui and Hala thought at the same time.

"Okay, use Leafage one more time." Ash has plan this time.

"Uh huh, you won't learn do you? Peck again." Hau's Rowlet did the same thing and Hau noticed that smirk Ash returned.

"Surround yourself with Leafage, Rowlet." Ash commanded making Hau's eyes go wide. Before the peck could make contact, Ash's Rowlet surrounded itself with Leafage and when Hau's Rowlet got hit with Leafage, first it spinned with the Leafage and later got thrown away.
"Finish it with tackle." Ash said punching the air. His Rowlet nodded and flew at high speed at a grounded owl, and with full power it used a tackle.

"Leaf blade, quick." Hau yelled and his Pokemon groaned and released bunch of weak leaf blades and unfortunately, the tackle move has the potential for destroying a rock as it's hit the leaf blade scattering it in the process as it advanced straight and hit with Hau's Rowlet causing dust to kick up. Ash has a smile on his face while Hau looked around the dust cloud hoping his Pokemon alright.

When the dust settles down, they saw Ash's Rowlet on top an unconscious one. "Hau' Pokemon is unable to battle. Therefore the winner of the battle is, Ash!" Hala announced and people cheered for Ash as he recalled his Rowlet and thanked. Hau did the same and both of them shaked hands and complimented each other.

Lillie watched it and she looked at Ash and she knows they has to ask him some questions later. But now he looked happy and ruining it is not great thing to do.
