AN: Guess who got a bit of inspiration back. My mind doesn't want to focus on specific stories too well. Nope, it want's to multi task and think about all the other stories I've thought up. Which is way more than I'm willing to admit.

"Izuku...I'm so sorry little brother." It was just a faint whisper, but he heard it nonetheless. So quiet yet sounding so sad.

Izuku's head turns quickly to look further into the alley, searching for the source of the voice. "Kizu?" His eyes strained to see through the dark of the shadows, but could not seem to spot her.

"Don't look this way, keep your head straight and continue to stare at the phone." Though her words were not but faint whispers, they still held a sense of command. Izuku immediately snapped his head back and went back to looking at his mom's phone. He could hear her near silent steps as Kizumi came closer. Out of the corner of his eyes he could make out her figure as she came slightly out of the shadows. Kizumi sat down with her back to the wall mirroring how Izuku sat.

"Kizumi...Mom...she-" The boy found himself barely able to get the words out; a part of him still struggling with the reality of his words being true.

"I know. I tried to check in on the two of you when I woke up today. But by then it was too late." He could tell by the tone of her voice that Kizumi was blaming herself, just as he had when he had been kidnapped.

"You once told me before not to blame myself for the actions of others. So don't go blaming yourself for this."

"Using my own words against me huh? While I might not have been the one to strike the blow it was because of me those guys went after you and mom."

"Y-you know who did it?!" Izuku could not help but turn to face her. "Then we can turn them into the cops and then they won't try to come after you instead!"

"It's not that simple Izu, and keep facing forward." With a squeak the boy's head was turned forward once again. "The men that did this, they did it in a way similar to how I make my own kills. Sometime during the time I brought you home someone was following me. They saw me go home. Whether they knew the truth of the matter or not, they saw that I cared for you enough to bring you home. They went after both of you in the hopes that it would strike a blow to me and send the police on my tail. Right now there isn't anywhere near enough evidence to prove that I didn't-..." Kizumi paused, unable to say the words either. "That I didn't go after you two."

"And I can't tell them otherwise or I would be seen as an accomplice or worse." Izuku could feel tears start to fall from his eyes. It was all so unfair. All the evidence was pointing towards Kizumi being the killer when her own family knew otherwise. He knew the cops and heroes were only doing their jobs and what they thought was right, yet could not stop the feeling of resentment growing in his chest.

"Look, right now you have a choice to make Izuku. I'm not going to force you to choose one or the other, it's all up to you. Either you can stay here, doing whatever the cops want before being thrown to stay who knows where. Or you can come with me."

That was one hell of choice his sister gave him. Though he supposed it was so much a choice as it was a fact of the matter. He was an orphan now after all. "If I go with you. Then what?"

"You won't be forced to do anything illegal or anything. But you'll be with family. I promise I won't let anything else bad happen to you. You can still live your life the way you want to."

"I want to go with you!" His answer was almost immediate.

"Are you sure Izuku?"

"Yeah. I trust you. Plus it's better than being used as bait." He meant the last line to be more lighthearted, it still seemed to sadden him.

"If that's your choice then we should leave now." Kizumi stood up and dusted off her pants. Izuku placed the phone into his pocket and stood. He watched Kizumi take out her own phone and send a quick text. Now that he could actually look at her the boy took note of her much more casual clothing compared to the last time he saw her. The suit and dress pants had been traded out for a rather large black hoodie and what looked to be pajama pants. Kizumi had said she had checked in on them as soon as she woke up which was more than likely fairly recent. "Alright, our rides here. Let's go before the cops come looking for you." Kizumi grabbed a hold of his wrist, pulling him forwards. Looking ahead of them Izuku could see a black mist appear further down the alley.

"What is that?"

"A friend. Don't worry it won't hurt." The two disappeared into the mists and then the mist itself was gone from the alley.

Back inside the police station a couple of officers started to look for Izuku. One of them was sent outside to bring him back in only to return in haste as he could not find the boy.

"Pull the cameras up, find out where he went!" Various people were crowded around one of the desks as an officer was scrubbing through the security footage. They could see Izuku leaving the station and go to sit in the alley next to the building. They watched him pull out a phone and stare at it for some moments. Then he looked as if he was talking to someone, but the camera angle and the darkness of the alley kept them from seeing who. Minutes later they watched as he stood and went further into the alley. The only other person to come into frame was the officer that was sent out to search for the boy.

"And you're sure he wasn't down there?"

"I don't know where he went sir, but that alleys a dead end. The kids disappeared."

"Search the area. He can't have just disappeared."

"Yes sir!"

The siblings exited the mists into a dimly lit bar. Instead of disappearing, the mists instead moved before them as it seemed to be pulled back into the man behind the bar. The man's whole body was made up of the black mists. He wore a suit and had metal around what wound be his neck. Another man sat on a stool on the other side of the bar. In contrast to the misty man, he wore a dark t-shirt and pants. His hair a shaggy light-blue and scars adorned his face and neck. A severed hand rested on top of the bar right beside him.

"Welcome back, Kizumi Midoriya." The man made of the mists greeted, though he did not appear to have a mouth.

"Thanks for the teleport Kurogiri."

"Who's the brat?" The other man's voice was raspy. Izuku swallowed nervously as a pair of red eyes glared straight at him.

"Tomura behave. And this is Izuku, my brother. I told you where I was going. Izuku, this is Kurogiri and Tomura Shigaraki. I've been staying with them since I left." Kizumi introduced them all, pointing at each man as she said their name.

"Hi?" Izuku meekly brought a hand up to wave only to quickly bring it back down as Tomura continued to glare at him.

Kizumi turned to face Izuku. "Would you be able to get some things from home if we went right now? Or would you rather wait?"

"Is it okay if we wait? I don't know if I can go back there right now."

"Of course it is Izuku. For now let's get you cleaned up and settled in, okay?" Izuku meekly nodded before being dragged off by his sister. Tomura's red eyes glaring at him until he was out of sight.

Kizumi took them into a bedroom and began digging through the dresser for clothes. Izuku took a look around as she did. The room faintly reminded him of her old room back before she left. Was this her room then? A set of clothes was tossed at him. "Luckily for us you haven't hit your growth spurt yet so my old clothes should fit you. The bathrooms just through that door." Izuku followed her hand as it pointed off to the side at a door. "Get washed up and changed, I'll be back with some food okay?" The boy could only nod as he watched Kizumi leave.

Not long after Kizumi returned with a bag of food, placing it on top of the nightstand by the bed. "Hey Izuku you about done? I've got some food." She knocked on the bathroom door. The shower could still be heard running. After another minute of not getting a response she called out again. "Izuku?" Still she received no response. "Izuku I'm coming in." The bathroom was full of steam from the hot water. Inside the shower Kizumi could make out the huddled form of her brother. He sat on the ground, arms around his legs that were pressed against the rest of his body. His wet hair covering up the rest of his face that was not being hid against his knees. Kizumi could see his shoulders shaking. She quickly grabbed a towel and reached into the shower to turn the water off. She then knelt down beside Izuku, wrapping the towel around his body. "Come on now, let's get you dry and into some clothes, okay?" Kizumi coaxed him into a standing position and wrapped the towel the rest of the way around his body. His eyes were red; he had probably been crying the whole time he was in the shower. "Are you going to be good to dress yourself?" Izuku could only nod in response. "Alright. I'll be in the bedroom. Don't be too long okay or the food will go cold."

Kizumi left the bathroom. She sat down on top of the bed and started eating her own food. Izuku finally appeared, dressed now, and sat down beside her. The two of them ate in silence. Once they were done Kizumi stood to leave, only to be stopped as Izuku grabbed ahold of her hand.

"Kizumi..Sis...can you stay, please? Until I fall asleep?" The look in his eyes nearly broke Kizumi's heart. This is why she left in the first place, to protect Izuku and their mom. And she had failed. Now their mother was dead and her little brother was in pain.

"Of course." Izuku got under the covers and Kizumi slid in beside him. The two siblings lay on their sides facing each other. Kizumi wrapped her arms around him, pulling him in close. They held onto each other just as they had when they were younger. Izuku's body shook as he silently sobbed. Kizumi held onto him until he cried himself to sleep. Only then did she get up from the bed and tucked in the covers around Izuku.

She quietly left the room and instead entered the room next door. Just like any other night the room was dark save for the bright light coming from the television. Tomura sat on the bed, controller between his hands. The look on his face told her that he was in a bad mood. She crawled onto the bed and positioned herself behind him. Her legs went out to either side of his body while she leaned forward to rest her head over his shoulder. She wound her arms around his stomach, pulling the two of them closer together.

"Why the long face Tomura?" Kizumi pressed her head against his.

"You took my hoodie." Came Tomura's reluctant reply.

"Your hoodie? Is that really what you're upset about?"

"You've been with that brat all day."

"First off that brat is my brother and you're going to have to get used to him being around now. Secondly, we just lost our mom and Izuku isn't used to all this like you and I are." Kizumi's hands went underneath Tomura's shirt, tracing the bare skin underneath. "Besides," Her teeth nipped lightly at his ear. "The two of you are more alike than you think." The only reply Kizumi got was a disgusted groan as Tomura continued to play his game. She could not help but to roll her eyes at his response. "Anyways," Kizumi pulled herself away from Tomura and crawled back off the bed. "I've got to head out for a bit."

"Leaving me again already?"

"Don't be so needy, you'll be perfectly fine without me." Kizumi walked over to the dresser and began to change. After putting on her suit vest and dress pants she then switched to putting in her red contacts. Lastly, she checked to make sure she had all of her knives in place. "I've still got to finish the quest the old man set me on." Just before Kizumi could open the door she was stopped by a pair of arms wrapping around her waist. Though he may not come off as such, Tomura was fast on his feet when he wanted to be. "Tomura really?"

His arms tightened around her, pulling Kizumi tighter against him. "I didn't say you could leave just yet. Besides, I haven't had my fill of you yet." She grabbed a hold of his wrists and in one swift movement, pried his arms away from her while turning to face him. Kizumi held their hands between the two of them as she stared up into Tomura's scarred face.

"With as much time as we already spend together I think you can stand to be alone for a bit." Kizumu stood up on the tip of her toes, leaning forwards to place a kiss onto his rough lips. "But I do have to leave now." She dropped his wrists only for him to let them dangle by his sides. "Just go back to playing your games and before you know it I'll be back. And don't worry about Izuku, I've asked Kurogiri to look after him while I'm gone" With that said Kizumi left the room and headed out of the bar.
