Finally, it was September 31st and Arianna Malfoy was on platform 9 ¾, accompanied by her family. Her parents looked excited, but Draco was clinging to her hand tightly, as he had been away the entire time from Malfoy manor. Ari knelt down beside Draco. "What's wrong? She asked her little brother, "I don't want you to go Ari." He whispered. "Oh Draco. I will come back over all the breaks and I'll write you letters every week, ok?" Arianna said with a smile, gently pulling him into a hug. Her two pet snakes, who were previously around her shoulders, coiled around Draco's instead, as if they were hugging him too. Draco grinned and stroked them gently until Narcissa called that the train was leaving in a few minutes. The snakes, which she had decided to name Medusa and Hades, coiled around Ari's arm as she hoisted her trunk into the train. Technically, Medusa and Hades had named themselves as they had asked for those names while she was reading a book on Greek gods and monsters. Soon, it was 11 and everyone's families were waving goodbye and the students were waving back until the train sped up and passed through the station.

Arianna dragged her trunk into an empty carriage because she and Star had made an agreement that they would not sit together in the same carriage so that they had a chance to make some friends. Ari snorted because she was fairly sure that the real reason, they weren't in the same carriage was because Star was deathly afraid of her snakes after being told of the threat Medusa had made to Ari in the pet shop, despite Mara Zabini having about 20 pet snakes roaming about their house. Ari, we're hungryyyy! Hissed her snakes simultaneously. Arianna rolled her eyes but bought about 100 sweets from the trolly witch. "Thanks…umm?" trailed off Ari, looking at the trolly witch. "I don't remember my name darling. It's been too long" the witch replied with a smile and continued on her way. She stared in shock after her until two demanding serpents brought her back into her senses. "All right all right, here you go," chuckled Ari, unwrapping some sweets and popping one into her mouth.

She opened yet another chocolate frog and as she was reading the card (Salazar Slytherin), she heard a commotion outside. She made to peer out the window on the top of the door to the carriage, biting into another every flavour bean but was interrupted by the cause of the ruckus. "What the-" she exclaimed as two identical boys tumbled onto the floor and shut the door. She choked on her Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Bean.

The two redheads were wearing shiny turquoise shirts with half on bras sticking out of the sleeves. Ripped neon pink long skirts and frayed blue heels accompanied this bizarre attire. She was openly laughing now as one of the twins tried to stand up, wobbled on his heels, stepped on the hem of his skirt and promptly fell back on the ground. "Who is this chick that we've made laugh so hard?" he said with a dramatic scowl "What's your name?" asked the other one, more politely. Arianna was laughing so hard that as she was opening her mouth to share her name, she chocked again. "Ari…anna" she said in the middle of a cough. "Well Anna, we don't find this very amusing" the one who tripped over said.

After a lot of coughing, hacking and wheezing, Ari managed to get the bean out. "I went through so much trouble and it had to be vomit flavoured" muttered Ari, grimacing at the taste in her mouth. She was still laughing at the sight in front of her. "Since you're a girl, can you teach us how to walk in these things at least?" pleaded one of the twins. "Walking in high heels cannot be taught. It is a natural skill bestowed only to women", answered Arianna in between chuckles. "What happened anyway and who are you?" "We are Fred" said one. "And George Weasley" said the other, bowing theatrically. "And we made a bet with our brother Percy-" "and lost it. We had to come in our glamour charms to the station." They said, finishing each other's sentences.

She had guessed that they were Weasleys because of the distinguishing red hair and freckles, as well as the ragged condition of their clothes. Damn, father will kill me if he knows I've been associating with Weasleys. No, it doesn't matter what he thinks, I like them, and I will be their friends. If they even want to after they know who I am. "You didn't hear my name last time so let me introduce myself. I'm Arianna Malfoy." The shock on their face was evident.

"M-Malfoy?!" exclaimed George. "As in Lucius Malfoy's daughter?!" Fred asked with a tiny amount of fear and a whole lot of shock and anger "Do you know any other Malfoy?" Ari asked with a raised eyebrow, hiding her nervousness.

"N-no, umm" Said George gulping. "We-we'll be going now Malfoy" said Fred, grabbing his twin and backing towards the door. Arianna breathed in deeply. I'm going to get in deep trouble for this. "Wait!" she called. "The other carriages are full and since this one is free, you can stay". That was actually true. All the other carriages were overflowing with people, most of them still gawking at the spot the Weasley twins were a few minutes before. "d'you really mean that" George asked curiously but was still cautious. "I mean if you want to that is" She clarified. "Just thought that sitting on a seat, even with me, would be better than the passage floor."

"We wouldn't appreciate sitting on the very dirty floor of the train in our mother's best outfit. And we don't have a problem with you." George said with a smile. Fred shot his twin an incredulous we don't? look. "Speaking of ruining mum's best outfit…" He said instead, looking ruefully down at the rips in his skirt. "Oh, I can fix that" piped up Ari, taking out her wand. "Can you really anna?" George sceptically asked. Ari rolled her eyes at the nickname and scoffed "of course I can. Watch. REPARO" The rips all closed up, but the magic kept on working, fixing the frayed condition and the dull colour of the clothes and making them look as good as new.

Ari looked at her wand in surprise. That was powerful magic, more powerful than she should have been able to do at this age. "That was insane" both of the twins gasped. "Mum will be so pleased that she wont yell at us!" Fred happily said. "Thanks Anna" she smiled, thinking it's odd that such a nickname could come from a vomit flavoured every flavour bean. "You're good at magic so can you please replace this with our robes?" George pleaded. Ari laughed and waved her wand again and then they were in standard Hogwarts robes. "Wicked" they said together. "It comes from reading advanced magic books most days" she replied.

They chatted for a while until the train slowed to a stop and the doors opened. They dragged their trunks off the train and waved to each other. "See ya twins!" called Ari. "Bye Anna" they shouted back before she turned back to face Star. "The Weasley twins huh?" Star asked with a raised eyebrow. The boy standing next to her scowled. "Got a problem with?" Ari challenged, glaring at him. "He glared back and that went on for a few moments where each of them seem to be trying to burn the other's eyeballs off until Star stepped in. "woah, woah, woah! Cool down. Ari, this is Theodore Nott, I think you've met before. Theo, this is Arianna." Arianna frowned, thinking back. The boy, Theodore, had pale skin, black hair and brown eyes. He was also taller than her by a few centimetres, a fact she very much disliked. Had she met him before? She wasn't sure but one thing she was sure of was that her and this boy will never ever be friends. Never.

She huffed and walked over to the boats, determined to stay away from him for an exceptionally long time. "He seems all right Ari." Medusa spoke. "Yeah, you shouldn't make enemies on the first day." Her brother agreed. "speaking of enemies…" Ari said instead as a bunch of older Gryffindors approached her. They didn't seem to notice her sitting on her (expensive) black trunk until one of them stepped on her foot.

"Watch where you're going klutz" scowled Arianna angrily. "Look who you are talking to firsty" he said meanly. "I know perfectly well who I'm taking to, Griffyndork" she said with a honeyed over voice. "You look here, I am Percy Weasley, brother of Bill and Charlie Weasley who were Hogwarts head boys and in line for a prefect badge", said a red head boy with a formal business-like voice.

"Well, I am Arianna Malfoy, daughter of Lucius and Narcissa Malfoy, sister to Draco Malfoy who is currently in line for the Malfoy inheritance, and I am in line for the title of best witch of the year." She mocked. "Are you mocking me, Malfoy?" He growled, spitting out the word Malfoy and raised his hand to slap her, but she whipped out her wand in a flash and pointed it at him. "Oh, no you can't do that. You see, in my family, we don't hit women, but I don't remember any restrictions on doing this…RICTUMSEMPRA" she cried, and a burst of purple lights blasted all of them and they started laughing and clawing at their own skin. "You…can't…use magic…out of class" one of the dorks gasped. "And who are you going to tell?" she said with a smirk, putting more pressure on the spell. "We…wont…tell…please…make it STOP". One screamed. "Good" she replied and dropped them from the spell's grasp. They all scurried away quickly, looking scared.

"You go girl!" Medusa cheered. "Don't encourage her Med" Hades scolded. "she could have really gotten hurt." "But she didn't okay." Medusa rolled her golden eyes. "Med's right Hades. I didn't get hurt. And I could have taken those idiots without a wand any day." "I'm just worried about you Ari", sighed Hades.

Before either of the other two could answer, they were being called to the boats while being ordered to leave their trunks on the platform. Arianna looked up at the castle. I'm here at last. I better not screw it. Or die.

A/N: Ari is now friends with the Weasley twins! Do I sense a romance? (singsong)You'll have to wait and see!
