AN: This is going back in to the past, to how Chat Noir not only reacts to Marinette leaving, but also Ladybug disappearing.
Chapter Four: Your Name is Crimson?
"Guess where the girl is?" Alya said, her phone shaking in her hand. It looked clear she was angry.
"Where?" Adrien asked. It was weird for Marinette to do something like, let alone go to another part in the world.
"NEW YORK!" Alya exclaimed. There were so many feelings through the room. Alya was angry, Nino was jealous, and Adrien… well, he didn't know what to think.
"Geez, should've brought us," Nino said. Alya went off on a rage. She had reached the end of her tether with this girl. Adrien could tell Marinette was trying to say something, but Alya always shouted over her. Soon enough, Marinette couldn't take it. She hung up.
"That girl will be the death of me! She hung up on me!" Alya shouted.
"Well, you were all rage-monster on her," Adrien said.
"She should've said something," Alya said. She could've had fire coming out her nose if she could deal with it.
…
"Ah, anger at a friend for being silent about a trip across the globe," Hawkmoth said. He put his hands around a butterfly. "Fly away my little akuma, and evilze this frustrated girl."
…
"I am Secreter! All your secrets will be revealed, and all you surprises will be foiled!" an akumatised Alya shouted. Adrien knew it wasn't time for Adrien, but Chat Noir was needed.
"Plagg, we need to make sure Alya doesn't stay transformed for long," Adrien said. "We can't have her finding out that I'm Adrien. Plagg, claws out!" Adrien transformed into Chat Noir and said, "Hey, some secrets are secrets for a reason. And who wants to ruin a good surprise?"
"Chat Noir, everyone wants your secret!" Secreter shouted. She grabbed something out of a bag and threw it at Chat Noir who narrowly dodged.
"Aw, I don't want the cat to get out of the bag," Chat joked.
"Sorry I'm late," a new superhero said. She looked like Ladybug, but she had brown hair and green-blue eyes. Her costume had a hood and black highlighted parts of her costume including her hands, arms, legs, and feet. Her mask looked very similar to Ladybug's except that it went down her nose and had a thin black line marking the edge of her mask.
"Where's Ladybug?" Chat Noir asked.
"Taking a break, me and Su-Han made her," the superhero said.
"What? Who are you?" Chat Noir demanded.
"I am Crimson," the girl answered.
"Well, Crim, can I get the old Ladybug back?" Chat Noir snarled.
"If she chooses to come back, it's her choice she just doesn't know that. She has another miraculous, she's safe," Crimson promised.
"How long does she think she'll be gone for?" Chat Noir asked.
"A year," Crimson said.
"A YEAR?!" Chat shouted at the girl.
"Yes," Crimson sighed.
"Where is she?" Chat demanded, dodging everything Secreter was throwing at him while Crimson was doing the same.
"I can't tell you! It might reveal her identity!"
"I don't care!" Chat glared at Crimson. "I have to be a year without Ladybug yet she is MY FRICKEN PARTNER!" Chat whispered something into Secreter's ear. "I promise to tell you my biggest secret if you hit Crimson- I'll help you."
"Don't listen to him!" Hawk Moth instructed her.
"It'd be my pleasure, Chat," Secreter said.
"Wait, WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU DOING?" Crimson said. She dodged blows from Chat Noir's baton, along with Secreter's bombs. But, with the black cat working against her, she realized that she would not win this fight. At least she would try. But, she was hit by a bomb, and she told her biggest secret- where Ladybug was.
"I sent Ladybug to New York!" Crimson shouted, it just rolling off her tongue.
"New York? Wait…" Chat thought about this and was glad Alya was akumatised, or else she would know too. "Cataclysm." Chat Noir touched the bag at it shriveled into dust. Alya crumpled to the floor and Crimson caught the akuma. Secreter hadn't caused any damage and since Crimson never called a lucky charm, anything destroyed would be still broken.
"I'm going to New York," Chat said.
"No! Give her a couple months! She needs it! Chat, if anyone knows that, it's you," Crimson said, blocking his way. "Please, just a couple months."
"Fine, but I'll be counting down the time. I can't loose her again, not this time," Chat snarled.
AN: And BOOM goes the dynamite! Okay, so I noticed I've mad both Marinette and Adrien very… worn down and mad because of the love square. Y'all okay with that? It's a bit OOC- but just imagine what it would be like with all these feelings of hurt and pain and suffering can do for one soul! It can ruin it, so Peter will start picking up the pieces of Marinette as Spiderman, and Chat has to decide to move on before he can be fixed. Turns out this story is loosely based off the song "Fix You," by Coldplay. I guess that's just what happens sometimes. Bug out!
