A/N: OK, I'm going to make this quite short A/N. I just wanted to say thank you guys again for the support of the story and for wanting more for you guys and I really am grateful for the support.
Now without any further a do, here is part 3!
Third POV
Shadow made his way back to the audience as they just witnessed Yang is going to have a good student and teacher bonding with Glynda. Some of them express their worries for the blonde brawler, while some either didn't care, laugh at the situation, or just think that it was for the best.
Shadow released a good sigh as he sat down next to Coco. Grabbing the remote, he then looks at the others before saying:
"Ok, so let's get ready for the next viewing." Shadow said
"Wait, we're not gonna wait for Yang?" Blake asked, getting a nod from the host.
'Yep, since both she and Glynda would be busy for quite a bit, I think it's best just to go on ahead." Shadow said, but then his phone's ringtone sets in and he picks it up.
'Hello?" Shadow said.
"Hey man, it's Micheal." Micheal's voice rang.
"Oh hey. What is it?" Shadow said as Micheal told him why he called.
'You found more people?"
At this, the people from Remnant got their attention towards Shadow, and wondered what other people from their world did his colleague have managed to find. Shadow then nodded, but soon his eyes widened a bit before groaning.
"Really? Her? " Shadow groaned as he rubbed his face.
"I know, I know, she's not one of your favorite person to be around than the others that I have found. But you got no choice, Shadow." Micheal said, making Shadow growl at him through the phone.
"Fine. I let her in." Shadow reluctantly said before playing the phone back to his pocket. He went out of the coach before heading to the bar and made a Blood and Sand. They can see the frustrated look that said "I'm too old for this shit". Suddenly, a portal appeared in the room and soon several more figures came to the fray.
"Tai?"
"RAVEN!?"
"Marrow? What are you doing here?"
The three figures turned around saw they're allies and enemies in both rooms. Soon Ruby came crashing towards her dad into a big hug. Tai hugged back with relief seeing his daughter ok. While this was going on Raven and MArrow looked confused, until Raven saw Ozpin and glared at him.
"WHAT IS THIS PLACE!" Raven shouted as she pointed Omen to the headmaster of Beacon. This causes Shadow to roll his eyes as the Spring maiden, before taking a good gulp of alcohol and can feel a headache coming thanks to this cunt.
"Wait, where's Yang?" Tai said in concern as he had not seen his daughter with the rest.
"She's getting her ass pounded by Goodwitch." Shadow said not caring as he saw Raven pointed Omen at him.
"Where's my daughter!" Raven shouted, but Shadow didn't care and smirked a bit.
"WOW! That is the best you can come up with? I don't see how calling a person that you abandoned for years your "daughter"..." Shadow said, making the female Branwen glare at him.
"Raven, I think it's best not to provoke him." Ozpin said as he approached Raven. He was one of the few people who saw the sadistic glint that Shadow showed in his eyes when he was torturing Jocque. Raven just glared as she snarled at the Headmaster.
"This is your doing isn't it? Is this another piece of secrets that you are hiding from you "Allies'?" Raven snarled at him, causing him to just sigh and Shadow to groan and activate a timer of when this whole "Shadow War" thing was going to blow up.
"Raven I can assure you that this is not my doing." Ozpin said, trying to diffuse the situation.
"Oh how can I be so sure? You did nothing but use all the Huntsman and Huntresses that you trained and use them as pawns for this war….Lied to how many people against an unbeatable foe, while you yourself stay alive!" Raven shouted, causing the people who didn't know this look at the headmaster with concern and suspicion.
"What is she talking about?" Ghira said, causing her to smirk. And soon she spilled the bean with the entire war. The Grimm, Salem, her immortality, and even the fucking bird thing (Which was just idiotic). Soon some of the people then glared at Ozpin
"How dare you bring out children into this!" Kali said as she glared at the headmaster. Sun and Marrow stood there in shock on what they were apart of, but Sun was taking it a bit better than the dog Faunus, since he knew team RWBY and JNPR for a long time while during his stay in Beacon and deep down he knew that they are something special. But it was still shocking to say that this was a much bigger thing than he had anticipated.
Ghira glared at the Ozpin. His daughter, participated in a war, a fucking war that is going for years upon years, and he just let them go.
Blake fighting against the WF is one thing, but this… THIS war is more than she could handle.
"Weiss…" Willow muttered as she looked at her daughter with a speechless expression. She knew that her father was working with Watts when they were at the mansion and she knew for years, but THIS! This was more than she was hoping for and the fact that she is partaking to a war is more than she could handle.
Team CFVY just stared there at their spot, trying to process what they just heard from the female Branwen. They couldn't find the right words for it, as they were not part of the war. Or could they? Could they be part of the Shadow War? Did Ozpin have a plan for them as well? Or are they just cannon fodder?
Multiple emotions and reactions went across the room as they people that are not familiar with the Shadow War.
But the biggest reaction was from Tai. Who roared in fury and TACKLED Ozpin.
"You bastard! You were the reason that she was gone!" Tai yelled as he began to beat down Ozpin, who just sat there and took.
"Tai that's enough!" Qrow yelled as he grabbed Tai and prayed him off. But the blonde fighter didn't budge as Qrow felt a fist hit his face, knocking him down. Tai then turned his attention back to the down headmaster, before proceeding to go back to beating him up.
"Summer would've been if it weren't for you! She would've been here for Ruby if she didn't take that mission!" Tai said, as he punches and punches Ozpin, making Raven smirk at him, and team RWBY and JNPR look shocked.
For most was the fact that Ozpin wasn't trying to defend himself at all. He was just taking it. And without their weapons or their semblance then they nearly could do nothing.
"Dad stop!" Ruby yelled
"Tai that is enough!" Glynda said, but the blonde didn't budge. Except, he just kept beating and beating the headmaster to a bloody pulp and Ozpin was just taking the beating and doing nothing at all to stop the rage. Finally, Ironwood and Qrow went in and managed to subdue him, making Tai to fight off for control, but was unable to.
"YOUR WERE THE REASON THAT SUMMER IS DEAD IN THE FIRST PLACE! If IT WEREN'T FOR YOU THEN SHE WOULD HAVE BEEN ALIVE! RAVEN WAS RIGHT, YOU SHOULD'VE JUST DIE! " Tai yelled, making everyone look at him at shock, especially Ruby.
Ruby just stood there at shock as she just heard. Her mother was dead because of Ozpin? No… no, no, no… that couldn't be right. Ozpin may have lied to keep his secrets but that doesn't mean that he sent her to her death.
Within all this, Raven can only smirk at the headmaster's condition and finally have exposed him as the bastard as he is. Years upon years about warning them about Ozpin's lies and secrets, the back and forth arguments, and how they didn't believe her. She has finally got them to see who he really is….
An immortal liar that has lied to the people he trusts, the bastard that had cursed them, the bastard that has sacrificed thousands of people for his war…
A tyrant.
She stopped as a very dramatic slow clap came from the room. They others look at the source of it coming from Shadow, he was not all impressed by what he just saw.
"Bravo… you guys have found out about the damn war." Shadow sarcastically said "Hey Raven, since your sugar daddy has found out, how about you just grab Tai's pants and suck him off infront of all of us to see you get your treats." Shadow mocked making Branwen to glare at him.
"And you are?" Raven demanded as she pointed Omen to shadow. Shadow just rolled his eyes at the woman, feeling hsi nerves are already getting irritated.
"Your new fuck buddy, you bloody whore." Shadow mocked "By the way, good job off exposing Ozpin, and they say I have a grudge, huh? No wonder that Summer has to pick up your slack when you leave the family."
"Don't you dare talk about her!" Raven roared as she looked at the unfaze look from Shadow.
"Struck a nerve? Well it wasn't to say that I'm surprised since you DID bail out on them." Shadow chuckled as he liked the raven forming on Raven's face.
"Hey, hey… looks like the big bad bitch of the west is going to destroy me, whatever shall I do?" Shadow said in a very, VERY fake tone of worry. "What is she gonna do to me? Is she going to cut me to pieces? Drown me in water? Oh I know she would bend down to her knees, zip my pants and suck my cock like the good little whore she is." Shadow stated every word, as he looked straight into the eyes of Raven.
Raven then roared in anger as she unsheath Omen from its scabbard. The rest tried in shock to warn and stop her, but it was too late. She swings towards Shadow and as the blade went near his neck, a loud *CLANG* a sound was heard.
Raven stood there in shock as Shadow, once empty hands, was now holding a Katana. The sword length was the same as Omen, but had a traditional look to it, but with a few custom designs that caught her attention.
The sword was a beautiful black damascus steel with a wave pattern on it. The handle was black with with a traditional wrapping and texture white mebuki that was made from leather. A Shiney black scabbard that had a single wrap leather thread on it. But the most important detail that Raven noticed was the tsuba.
Instead of a traditional tsuba, this one had a snarling demonic wolf with four eyes, a textured surface for a bit of grip, some lines that look like roots coming from the fur and an open jaw for the scabbard to go in.
Shadow smirks at her and pushes back, making Raven brace.
"Pathetic." Shadow said making Raven break the hold and launch a series of attacks. But Shadow just smirks at this and starts to deflect them with ease, further infuriating the female Branwen.
"Is this what the famous Raven Branwen is? Just a pathetic little cunt that all talk and no bite?" Shadow taunt "The coward that left her family to save herself! " Shadow yelled as he delivered a swift strike, causing Raven to back up but then retaliated. Only for Sadow to parry and strike her midsection.
As the fight rages on, the others look at them with disbelief on Shadow to jab on Raven. Continuing to insult her, pushing her buttons, and pissing her off a lot more by the passing seconds. But none of them wanted to stop them.
Who wouldn't?
Shadow is a god that has powers that are beyond their knowledge, and raven is a skilled swordsman. And without their weapons and Semblance, they're just sitting ducks.
As they can see the fight went on, they saw Raven is starting to get tired and frustrated by the lack of damage that she is inflicting. While Shadow was just smirking the whole time as he was not even trying.
"Come on. Bring me a real challenge. Or are you just this pathetic?" That line was the last straw for Raven, as she screams and activates the spring maiden powers. Causing everyone, but Shadow, to blast back and look at shock.
"Raven is the spring maiden?" Ironwood said his shock, before that shock turned into anger and shifted his attention to the rest of team RWBY and JNPR.
"Did they know this? They must have…" Ironwood thought with a growl, not knowing that
"Ooohhh.. No things are heating up." Shadow commented, not at all afraid of the powers, before charging up his blade. Red aura and black lightning consume the katanas blade before Shadow charges in. Blades clash, as powerful auras and forces collide in each strike of their blades, breaking everything in the living room as the rest brace themselves.
But even with all this Raven just saw that damnable smirk on Shadow's face, as he was barely breaking a sweat. She went for a slash but Shadow just deflected it, making Raven to dodge it, but Shadow followed up his momentum and went down to his knees,spun around and hit the back of Raven's knee with his scabbard. Raven's leg were forced to bend before Shadow hooks her leg and knocks her off balance.
Raven fell down to the ground, before feeling Shadow kicking her on the ribs, launching her to the book shelf. Raven's body bounced off on impact, before she shakingly got up. But as she tried to get her balance back, she felt something go past her and a sound of something hitting the ground.
She looked and saw her arms that were holding Omen was now separated from the rest of her body.
Raven screams in pain before Shadow starts to speak.
"Disappointing." Shadow said as he turned to look at her. "I thought that you would be more of a challenge with the maidens power, but I was wrong."
He then spartan kicked her off, launching the female Branwen through the wall and to a concrete one where the garage is located.
"You blame Ozpin for not telling the truth. You blame him for you leaving your family, while it was clearly YOUR decision to do so." Shadow said with a glare. "You have no idea how many people I've heard spit on Ozpin's names and blame him for every bad decision that happened to your lives. Don't get me wrong, though, he is no saint nor a moraless douchebag, but he is no evil incarnate." Shadow stated as he was SICK AND TIRED of the people who blame Ozpin for nearly EVERYTHING that happened to them. Bending into ridiculous angles just to paint him the big bad villain, while it was clear that he was not.
"When you found out about Salem's immortality, you bailed. You left. That was not Ozpin's fault, but yours. And if you say that he forced you to do it, let me give you a good, straight answer. Ozpin was a father in two of his lifetimes. Possibly three if you count enough."
"He lied. He sent peop;e to their graves!" Raven retorted with a glare.
"To the Grimm. Not Salem herself, Though, I would agree that he can do better with his secrets and the people he would be giving it to, I'll give you that. As for lying, he has years of experience and paranoia to account for them. Those will drive a man to do what he did. But news flash, EVERYBODY LIES! Qrow, Tai, Winter, Whitley, hell even Summer's daughter, Ruby." Shadow said with a harsh tone.
"Of all the people from your world, you, Raven Branwen, are the one that ticks me off the most. The fact that you abandoned your family, how you killed countless of inoccents during your time as bandit leader, you manipulating Yang about the STUPID BIRD CURSE THAT HAS YOUR CONSENT! And most of all, you went to Salem's side after finding out of her condition, just speaks volumes of what you are. A coward. What do you think it's going to happen, huh? That she would keep her word like a "Queen" that she is? Wrong! Once you outlive your usefulness you meant NOTHING to her now."
"You shut up!" Raven roared as she charged to Shadow, only to be greeted by a strike to her other arm, cutting it off. Shadow then uses the end of his scabbard and hits Raven across the face knocking her down, before placing a foot on her chest.
Shadow can only sigh at the futile attempt as he applies more pressure, causing Raven to take a sharp gasp of air, before screaming as Shadow then Stabs her on the shoulder and twisting the blade.
"GET AWAY FROM HER!" Tai roared as he charged in, but was ultimately pushed back to the rest.
"DAD/ TAI!" Ruby and Qrow yelled as they went in and checked on him.
"I don't have any beef with you Xio Long. You have my respect that despite losing two wives, you manage to raise two children despite everything that has happened to you. So don't try and jeopardize that while you still have it." Shadow stated with a glare before looking at the Ravenette.
"And you...You are the very definition of a coward. You abandoned your family when they needed you, abandoned Yang and Tai when they begged you to stay. And most of all, you abandoned SUMMER when you made a promise to look after Ruby…." Shadow growled. "Like mother, like daughter. Yang knew that you're the spring maiden and she didn't tell her team nor JNPR."
At this, the team that Shadow mentions Yang, causes even more of a shock toward team RWBY and JNPR, who stared at the ground, processing on what they just heard.
Yang...lied to them?
No...actually, Yang KEPT IT from them.
Kept it a secret
The one thing that she asks Ozpin NOT to do and that they trust each other. The ONE thing that SHE DEMANDED and was FURIOUS about when finding out about Salem's and Ozpin's history together back from the train, she has done it herself.
And she neve even bothered to tell them.
Shadow finally had enough before kicking Raven toward the sky before launching in her.
"May the slumbering sound of hell fall upon you from the pits of darkness…. As I grab my final judgment upon you." Shadow said as he take a stance and soon everyone started to feel a tremendous amount of magic. The air became heavy, as the temperature turns cold, making them freeze before they saw Shadow's hair turn white and the same red aura and black lightning consumes him and his eyes turn a deep violet.
Raven stared at the…. The MONSTER that was in front of her. The vast power level that coming from the host was anything that she had felt. This was worse than Salem's…much worse.
Soon, in a Blink of an eye, Shadow had disappeared from the spot that he was in before the others saw various slashes going through Raven in every direction, making the ravenette body bounce at every hit. The others can only sit and watch back at horror as Shadow just continues to do his attack, making sure not wasting a hit before reappearing in front of them as he was bend at the ground, head down, and his sword nearly sheathen.
Raven's body was suspended at mid air and looks tk be relatively fine, until Shadow clicks his sword back into place. What happened was that a large explosion of red and black consumes Raven as she screams in pain. Feeling every cut, every slice, and every single Fibre of her body being dismantled as she felt the aura blades of the attack decimated her.
Soon, her body was nothing more than chopped up portions for cannibals to enjoy.
The others were struck speechless at the results of the… the death of Raven Branwen. They saw what Shadow would do to Joque a few moments ago, but this…. This seems a bit more hatred within that attack.
None of them could utter a word towards they're host. No one can say it as they felt fear hit them from the pure preasure alone that Shadow released towards Raven.
And they have a feeling that it wasn't the worst part.
The cold dead look from Shadow's face, can put any person to pissed themselves as they saw him take a deep breath before snapping his fingers.
Everything from the 'fight' was starting to be repaired. Broken furniture, windows, the walls, even the garage are beginning to return back to its pristine state before Shadow look and saw the now an alive Raven.
"I do hope that you will learn from now on that opening that mouth of yours will get you into trouble. And trust me, you're gonna need it." Shadow growled at her with a glare. His features started to turned back as he sent a little dose of murder intent towards the bandit queen. Making her sweat and tries to hide her fewer but with no evail.
Shadow can only hmp and walk towards the others. The group step back as he make his way towards Ozpin, before placing a hand onto him, healing him before picking him up.
"You can use a drink, Oz. Come on." Shadow said and headed towards the bar.
"You guys can fill the others in on what your doing." Shadow said as he looked back at the rest. " I'm going to have a drink with your headmaster here."
With that done, Ruby look back at Ozpin and Shadow, then at her dad and Raven. Too many questions that were spat on her face in a matter of minutes.
Raven being the spring maiden, Yang knowing, and was Ozpin Is the cause for her mother's death?
Too many… too many was going on right now, and now wants is just time to process IT.
"C-can we just take a moment?" Ruby hesitantly ask Shadow.
"Sure. Just don't take too long, OK?" Shadow said getting a nod from the Rose and grab a couple of drinks and cocktails.
Ruby nodded in appreciation, thanking to whatever is listening to her, that Shadow was in a more better mood towards her than he was with Raven.
So with that, the others took the time to get some rest and process and regain their thoughts on what they just witnessed. While the newcomers went with the ones that they knew best and get used to the place.
And cut! That is a wrap, I hope you guys enjoyed this chapter and sorry that it wasn't a reaction and more like a filler, but I just feel like I had to place this here. I know it's a bit too soon to add new people in the story, but I just felt like this is an appropriate time to do so.
And yes, the move that I did was none other than Vergil's judgment cut, since I just felt like doing it and that I hated Raven's guts.
Why? Well you just don't go abandoned your family because you are scared, killed innocents, and manipulate your daughter into hating your headmaster about one STUPID curse that wasn't even a curse in the first place. Yeah, I got beef with her and smacking her across the face just felt so GOOD.
Also, I don't get why there are so many people hating and blaming Ozpin about the things that he did, honestly. But that doesn't mean I condoned what he did. I'm neutral when it comes to this war, because I see him and Salem as the victims of the gods. So it is ridiculous that people would just bend backwards and forwards to such a degree to paint him as this Satan-like bastard. It boggles me to no end.
