"Tell me you have comms with your team," Fury directs to Coulson.

"Of course, why," Coulson says as they try to avoid being shot at by Garrett. "What is going on?"

"Tell them to stand down on Ward," Fury says before firing off a few rounds. "Also tell them backup in the form of Iron Man and Iron Patriot are on their way. Yes, the two have something to do with one another."

"Agent May come in," Coulson says between firing shots. "Do not engage Ward."

"What," Melinda screams back at him. "Why the hell not?"

"Director Fury orders," Coulson says before adding. "Somehow our wayward agent is connected to Iron Man and the Iron Patriot."

"Damn him," Melinda says as she looks out from her hiding spot before walking into the work area with Skye and Ward. "How the hell are you connected to Iron Man?"

"What," Skye shouts looking at the two of them. "He is what?"

Grant lets out the breath he is holding on to before storing his gun. "His god sister and I have a thing. Get anything about the incentive program out of him."

"Godsister," Melinda says looking at him. "Ahh, that's what that was about. Well, he and his buddy the Iron Patriot are on their way."

"Did he have to bring Rhodes, I hate that guy," Grant says before walking over to Kyle Zeller. "See he is only here for the same reason as Mike. Now tell us where the incentives are and we can get you out of this."

"Upstairs on floor six," Kyle says looking at the three of them.

"Sounds good to you two," Grants says looking at them before taking Kyle and having him lead the way.

"Do you know what is going on," Skye asks as she and Melinda follow the two men?

"Not a clue, just that Fury doesn't want anyone to harm Ward," Melinda says as they all get into the elevator. "Fitz and Simmons?"

"Fury probably scooped them up from their Medipod," Grant says as he pushes the button for the sixth floor. "Though it would've been better if I didn't have to calibrate."

"Huh," Melinda and Skye say looking at him confused.

"They need to be calibrated to float," Grant says as the doors close. "It is supposed to be part of the maintenance check every three months."

"No one ever told me that," Melinda says as she looks at him. "Tell you did it correctly."

"Of course I did," Grant says looking at her, "Fitz isn't the only one who knows how to tinker with things."

"Back to the godsister thing," Skye says looking at him. "What does she have to do with all of this?"

"Callie is the reason I switched sides. She reminded me that her godfather wouldn't have created something like this if he didn't think it was needed," Grant says as they walk out of the elevator. "Especially after what he saw during world war II. I am not proud of what I have done but I had to do what I did to stay alive."

"What kind of twisted logic is that," Skye says looking at him like he is crazy.

"It's not really," Melinda says as they start opening doors. "One day, you may understand."

The three of them watch as Kyle reunites with his wife. They quickly move to the next door and find the little boy sitting on the bed.

"Hey Ace," Skye says entering the room. "Can you do us a big favour?"

"I guess," the little boy says as he looks at the two strangers she is with.

"I hear you're a superhero fan," Grant says kneeling beside the bed so he is at eye level with Ace. "I happen to know that Iron Man and Iron Patriot are on their way here. You think you can help them?"

"Really," Ace asks, all excited. "How can I help them?"

"We need to let your dad know that you are safe and that they are here to help," Grant says looking at him. "Now Callie, my best friend and I have a code sentence that only we know. Do you and your dad have something similar? Something only the two of you would know?"

"Yeah," Ace says as he sees Grant look over at Skye.

"All you have to do is talk and your dad will get your message and then we can bring you to him," Skye says, handing the table to the little boy.

"Nice to have things wrapped up," Tony says as he injects a serum into Garett. "This should render him powerless till we can contain him."

"Always showing up when the mission is almost complete," Fury says looking at the two Iron suits.

"You are both supposed to be dead," Tony says looking at them before looking around.

"He is on his way down," Coulson says looking at him. "I am only alive because of him, so please direct your comments to him. Though Mr. Peterson could use your and Dr. Banner's expertise."

Tony and Rhodey then turn and look at the other man in the room with them.

"Mike Peterson," Deathlok says, holding out his hand to the two men. "Any help you could provide would greatly be appreciated."

"I think Banner and I can come up with some improvements to your current state," Tony says looking him over. "J.A.R.V.I.S. scan Mike and upload to Banner, Cho and myself. Coulson, do you have any information you can provide?"

"All our files are on the Bus," Grant says as he, Skye, Melinda and Ace enter the area.

"Daddy," Ace says before racing over to Mike. Mike quickly picks up his son and twirls him around in a big hug.

"You are in so much trouble," Tony says to Grant before looking over at the father-son duo. "And who are you?"

"I am Ace, and you are Iron Man," Ace says from his dad's arms. "I have your action figure."

"Really, and who is your favourite Avenger," Tony asks as he looks at the little guy.

"Hulk," Ace says looking at him. "Are you going to help my dad?"

"I am going to do my best," Tony says looking at him. "I can probably even introduce you to the rest of the Avengers, except Thor since he is not here on Earth right now."

"Really," Ace asks before looking at his dad, "can we?"

"Of course," Mike says smiling at his young son. "Thank you."

"Any time," Tony says before turning to look at Coulson, Fury and Grant. "Someone wants to explain."

"You seem to know more than we do," Fury says looking over at Grant. "Fitz and Simmons are a bit shaken but alive."

"Figured as much," Grant says looking at him. "Someone forgot to tell Agent May that Medipods need to be recalibrated every few months."

"Ah," Fury says before looking over at Coulson. "Changes that go through when one is away."

"And where are Fitz and Simmons," Coulson asks, looking at the former Director.

"Safely aboard my plane," Fury says before turning to Tony. "I believe they will be of use to your team. Fitz is an engineer while Simmons is a biochemist."

"Excellent can always use more smart minds," Tony says, before adding quickly, "back to my question."

"Maybe it's best when we get the whole team together, so we only have to have this conversation once," Coulson suggests, looking between Fury, Tony and Grant. "I don't see the need to repeat it a dozen times."

"True," Tony says. "J.A.R.V.I.S. call in the team, have them meet us at the tower in say tomorrow morning at 9."

"Right away," J.A.R.V.I.S. says, before adding. "Should book accommodations for Dr. Cho as well?"

"Yes," Tony says before tossing a phone at Grant. "Call her and let her know you are safe before she kicks my ass."

"Or has Pepper do it for her," Rhodey says smirking.

"About time on that," Grant says before dialling and walking away from the group.

"Tony and Rhodey meet Agent Melinda May, Agent Antoine Triplett and Agent Skye," Fury says introducing the remaining members of the team.

"Nice to meet you," the group says shaking hands.

"Will you be travelling back with us," Coulson asks before Melinda ventures off. "The Bus may take longer than your suits but will give you time to look over our files."

"Works for me," Tony says before looking over at Rhodey. "Unless you are needed somewhere."

"Nope, I am all good," Rhodey says before grabbing Garett. "Do you have somewhere secure for him?"

"Our holding cell will do," Coulson says before looking over at his former agent laughing. "He may be an issue though."

"I believe Rhodey and Stark can handle him," Fury says as he spots Melinda landing the BUS close by. "That's our ride."

"Grant, let's go," Tony says, calling out before following the rest of the group.
