Note: UPDATE!!! Finally. Honestly my life is so crazy right now that I don't feel as if I'm getting a second to breathe and unfortunately as a result updating my stories has not happened in a while. I promise to try my hardest to get some more updates out to you all soon.
Just a little ask here and I'm not about to name names because I'm really not interested in any sort of confrontation but to the reader that continuously goes through my stories on fanfiction (I upload on both AO3 and Fanfiction) chapter by chapter, pointing out each and every one of my grammatical errors and spelling mistakes, please stop. You may mean well but as someone with dyslexia and anxiety this doesn't help. My dyslexia is a trigger for my anxiety and can cause me a lot of pain at times. It is really difficult at times for me to feel comfortable uploading updates on stories as it is without this. I admit I can get muddled with my grammar and spelling but I am trying my very best and using tools to help me, it isn't always effective but it's a learning process for me so please stop.
As always I am so grateful for all the love and support you all show my stories consistently. You make my days so much brighter and that I will forever be thankful for.
All my love Nell xoxo

Victoria was near frantic, she hadn't hunted in near enough a month, her mind and heart far too agonised for such things. She had been searching for months, running from state to state. She had even gone all the way to Italy, just to check her girl hadn't gone there.
But it had all been in vain, Isabella was gone. Her mate was gone.
Gone, not dead but gone. She would know if the girl had died as surely as she would have felt her own death. No, the bond between them, the ever present phantom heartbeat that existed just beside her own unbeating heart reassured her of that at least. But it did nothing to quell the devastation and utter fear she felt with each passing second that her mate wasn't in her sights.
She had no warning that the girl would disappear, no knowledge of where about she had gone and no idea how the little human, HER little human had been able to simply vanish alongside her useless mother. Leaving behind only their scent behind, days old.
She had tried tracking her mates scent but it merely led to the airport, leaving Victoria just as clueless and terrified as she had been the moment she, James and Laurent had arrived outside Isabella's house so many months ago to find the house empty.
Victoria had tensed as they approached the house, something intangible making her feel as if something was very wrong. They had just gotten back from an extended hunting trip in New York, James favourite place to hunt as he claimed they could find the worst of the scum there and reluctantly Victoria had to agree. Some of the men and women they had found to feast on truly had been the lowest of the low humanity had to offer.
Victoria had never had second thoughts as to what her diet would consist of the moment she woke up after her change and realised what she was. Using her new found strength, beauty and immortality to help 'clean up' the world around her. Her own human experience ensuring that she had no qualms in feasting from those vile and twisted enough to harm the innocent in the ways she and her sisters had been harmed when she was nothing more than a babe herself.
They had been gone three weeks. Engulfing themselves in their charity work as James liked to call it. They had even tracked and killed a paedophile ring in the city, ensuring that all the youngsters got to a hospital for care, far from the horrors they had been subjected too.
It made Victoria feel great to know that she had played a part in freeing the many young victims of those vile creatures. She had also admittedly indulged in a few day dreams of what her future hunting trips would be like when Isabella finally joined her.
They had just started to get to know one another. The Volturi finding that at seventeen years old now, her mate was more than old enough to start being immersed in the world of the supernatural. Victoria had agreed, knowing fine well that her patience was running a little thin nowadays when it came to waiting in the shadows for her mate to be deemed old enough to know. She had long since become aggravated and down right furious with the numerous suitors whom had all tried to win the heart of Victoria's mate because regardless of whether or not Isabella knew it or not but the girl belonged to her and she would not, could not allow anyone else to get close to her little mate in any intimate way. Lucky for the humans Isabella was really not interested in their affections and had shut her would be dates down every time. Victoria didn't want to think what would happen to the humans if Isabella hadn't of said no. She had barely kept herself in check as it was, the vampiress' instincts demanding that she seek vengeance on any who dared to try take her mates heart.
It had been downright torture to hold herself back thus far as Isabella had really grown into herself in the past few months. She had always been a beautiful girl but now Victoria would say she was turning into a gorgeous young woman and alongside the girls growth, the red heads instincts had begun shifting, from the previous innocent protectiveness she had always felt to not so innocent thoughts and feelings. It was as if her brain had finally given itself permission to recognise in its entirety that the little girl now woman that she had met sixteen years ago was her mate and oh how she craved to be able to act on that.
Upon receiving the go ahead from Athenadora, Victoria had begun the slow process of integrating herself in Isabella's life just before she left on her hunting trip. Telling her girl she was going on a vacation with her family for a few weeks and would be back. Now as she approached her mates house she felt dread rise in the pit of her stomach. Telling her that she really shouldn't have gone on that trip.
"What is it Vic, you're a little tense there" Laurent asked, picking up on the red heads stiff posture and alert darting eyes.
"Somethings not right" she whispered hissed, pausing in her advance on the house at the tree line to scan the property and listen. Though what she heard, or what she didn't hear rather caused that dread to turn into immediate fear as she realised there was not a single sound emitting from the house.
There was no sounds if the television, no boiler humming, no movement and most horrifying of all, their was not a single thump thump of her little ones heart beat, not even Renee's sluggish heart could be heard.
"Where is she!!?" Victoria hissed, darting toward her mates home, overcome with panic at the thought of her mates absence. She knew Isabella should be home, it being well into the late evening now.
What she found inside only caused her panic to turn into full blown terror as she took in the cold, dark, empty rooms. The house completely void of any indication that her mate had ever lived there. The only clue that they had her girl had infact lived there lay in the unfinished children's drawing still carelessly drawn on her mates bedroom wall. Not even her mates scent was fresh, it was stale and faint, giving Victoria the impression that her mate had not been home in near enough a week.
"I must find her, I must!!!" She had cried, her undead heart clenching and her insides twisting in fear as she fled the house in search of her mate, her coven mates hot on her heals.
"VOCTORIA!!!" The harsh snap of Laurent's voice brought the red head out of her own internal replay, her eyes snapping to his own bright red ones, because despite her own inability to let herself feed her coven mates had ensured they kept themselves fed in order to remain at their best to help her on her search.
" what is it?" She hissed, in no mood to entertain any sort of conversation.
"I'm sorry Vic, we heard what sounds like a supernatural game of baseball taking place of to the left a few miles and thought it may be useful to check it out. Would you care to come with us?" He asked, his tone its usual sympathetic, kind lilt. A tone the vampiress realised both of her coven mates used often when talking to her.
She sighed but nodded, offering no words of her own. She didn't particularly want to play friendly vamp passing through today but knew when dealing with others of her kind it was safer for her and her coven to face them together. Something about their being safety in numbers or some nonsense like that.
"Very well" he smiled as he turned to lead the way.
It took less than a few minutes for the three of them to emerge in a large field, surrounded on all sides by dense forestation. At the far end of the field she could see a larger than normal coven standing in a defensive formation. Their eyes an unnatural gold. Though their eyes, or their appearance for that matter meant very little when her eyes landed on the head of brown hair so like her little ones that it took her unneeded breath away.
The likeness causing pain to shoot through the redheads heart as she tried her best to get a better look at the girl hidden behind these seven strange vampires.
Seeming to sense Victoria's curiosity James spoke up. "Care for three more?" He asked politely, pulling his own baseball from his pocket and in that moment Victoria was grateful the man child that was her brother was strange enough to carry such a thing around with him in his pockets.
"Most certainly, a few of us were just leaving, you can take their place" whom she was assuming to be the coven leader spoke up, stepping forward in a relaxed way.
"Oh so soon? Are you certain we cannot convince them to continue the game with us, after all the more numbers per team the more interesting the game shall be" Laurent spoke up, smiling playfully.
" Unfortunately they can't but the rest of us will stay" the woman beside the coven leader replied, stepping into the coven leads side as he wrapped an arm around her.
Victoria nodded, excepting the reply though she seriously just hoped they would all move long enough for her to get a proper glimpse of the girl they all seemed to be hiding from view.
Just as they began to move to take positions, a gust of wind blew across Victoria's face, stirring her red locks a little and as she breathed in she couldn't help the growl that grew from within as it carried the one scent she had been searching months for to her nose. Her eyes snapping back to the brunette girl she hadn't been able to see properly until now.
Only now the girl wasn't concealed from view as such, now she was surrounded, the seven vampires creating a defensive V-shape in front of her as they all crouched, growling back at Victoria.
She felt James and Laurent flank her, both crouched slightly in preparation to defend or attack on her command as they too realised whom exactly these vampires where surrounding.
"Isabella..." she whispered half in relief at finally laying eyes on her girl after searching g for so long and half in anger as she took in the clear glazed look of HER humans eyes, eyes that stared back at her in fear. No recognition present in the usually warm chocolate brown eyes.
