As Korra trained with the Fire Ferrets, Tenzin gave me time off so I decided to spend that time with Asami. The boat dropped Korra, Nuki and I on the docks. We bid goodbye to each other and went our separate ways. Asami contacted me over the radio last night and told me to meet her at her place. I led Nuki through the streets of Republic City. I, unfortunately, had no idea where the Sato Estate was, so I had to ask where it was. "Excuse me?" I asked. The person turned, looked up at me and grinned.
"Avatar Yunoh!" They greeted. "It's an honour to meet you."
"Please, the honour is all mine. I was wondering if you could direct me to the Sato Estate?"
"Oh! I can show you the way if you want me to." My eyes widened and I shook my hands.
"No no no!" I assured. "I just need directions, I don't want to inconvenience you."
"If you're sure." The man sighed. "Just take the main road here and take a left. Take the third right and it'll be right there." I smiled and bowed.
"Thank you." I pat Nuki's shoulder. "Come now girl, let's go." With a small smile, we were off. I waved politely to the other citizens as I passed them as I made my way to the Sato Estate. When I reached the front gates, my jaw dropped. The place was massive, the biggest place I've ever seen. I dismounted Nuki, took a hold of her reins, walked up to the front gate and saw that there was a radio transmitter. I put my finger on the button. "Uh, hello?" I asked.
"Who is it?" A voice crackled.
"My name is Yunoh, Asami told me to meet her today?"
"A-Avatar Yunoh!" I resisted rolling my eyes. "Yes! Yes, come in! Miss Sato will meet you in the foyer." The front gates started to open.
"Thank you." I took my finger off the button and entered the estate. I followed the long path up to the house. I marvelled at the sheer size of the entire thing, it was bigger than the Southern Water Tribe Compound. As I approached the door, a butler opened it for me. "Thank you." I said to him. I turned to Nuki. "Girl, sit." Nuki plopped herself down. "Good girl." I scratched Nuki in between the ears, causing her tail to wag happily. "Now stay." I entered the estate. When I entered, I spun in a circle as I entered the foyer. There was a large staircase that was lined with a red carpet, ornate artworks lined the walls and plants hung from the ceiling. "Oh my Spirits…" I breathed.
"Yunoh!" A voice cheered from behind me. I turned and grinned when I saw Asami at the top of the stairs. "I'm so happy you were able to make it." Asami hurried down the stairs and threw her arms around me. I wrapped my arms around her and held her tight. Asami then pushed me away and held my shoulders. "I want you to meet my dad." My eyes widened.
"What?" I questioned. "Seriously? I don't want to impose, your dad is a busy man and he's got work and-"
"No no, he insisted." Asami let go of my shoulders and linked my arm with hers. "Come on." Asami started to pull me up the stairs, me stumbling behind. "When he found out that I met up with the Avatar yesterday he wanted to meet you himself."
"I...ok…" I let Asami drag me through her house to a large office, where a man was sitting behind a desk on the phone. He saw us and smiled.
"You'll have to excuse me, I will have to call you back later sir, an important guest has just arrived." Hiroshi said into the phone before hanging the up. "Avatar Yunoh." He greeted, standing. "It's an honour to meet you." Hiroshi bowed.
"No, please, it's an honour to meet you, Mister Sato." I said, placing my hands in the traditional Fire Nation greeting and bowing politely. After I straightened, I dropped my hands. "And please, call me Yunoh."
"She's humble." Hiroshi chuckled to his daughter. "Call me Hiroshi, in turn." I nodded.
"Asami tells me that she's helping you with some new designs for Sato-Mobiles. I'm sure that Asami's contributions will help the company grow."
"I know they will. My daughter is so smart."
"She is. I know that if you retire, your company will be in capable hands."
"That I do not doubt. Now, you two enjoy today, keep my daughter safe Avatar." Hiroshi joked. I laughed.
"I'm sure Asami can handle herself." I bowed to the elder man once more. "Thank you for meeting me today, Hiroshi, I hope we can see each other again soon." Asami then took my arm and led me away once more.
"Wow, dad is never that nice to my friends." Asami commented.
"Really?" I asked her. "I've never had to meet someone's parents before. I don't think Master Katara counts, I knew her long before Tenzin and his siblings. Plus...I never had friends before." I looked down to my feet. "Except Nuki and Saria, but they're not Human."
"Who are they?" Asami asked as we exited her estate.
"Well...this is Nuki." Nuki's tail went crazy when she saw me alongside someone new. "Saria's on the Island today."
"Nuki is a Polar Bear Dog?"
"Yeah." Nuki reached over and licked my cheek. "Stop girl." Nuki whined and shifted back again. "She's one of my oldest friends. She's not as bad as everyone says." I stepped towards Nuki and put my hands on her cheeks. "She's just a big puppy." I turned to Asami. "Do you want to meet her?" Asami nodded and stepped forward. "Just hold your hand out." Asami lifted her hand. Nuki leaned forward and sniffed Asami's hand. She barked happily and licked her hand. "She likes you."
"She's so sweet." Asami said.
"What do you want to do today?" I asked, turning to her.
"I was thinking I could show you more of Republic City."
"Cool! Do you want to take Nuki or do you want to walk?"
"We can take Nuki."
"Ok, so just come around here." I led Asami to stand beside Nuki. Nuki stood, her tail wagging. "Ok, just put your foot here." I indicated where to place her foot. "And push up and over. I placed my hands on Asami's waist to help her stabilise. "You good?" Asami nodded so I let go. I used Airbending to push myself off the ground and onto Nuki. I took hold of Nuki's reigns and glanced at Asami. "You ready?"
"I'm ready." I looked back in front of me.
"Ok Nuki, hop to it." Nuki barked and started to run forward. Asami let out a small scream and wrapped her arms around my waist. My cheeks burnt red at our close contact. I smiled, this was nice.

That night on Air Temple Island, Korra and I decided to do the gates together. We danced around the wooden slats as Jinora and Ikki used their Bending to move them. "Good!" Jinora complimented. "Light on your feet!" Korra and I exited the gates at the same time. Korra put her hands on her knees when she was done. "Ooh, he's cute." I turned to the stairs to see Mako walking up the steps and wandring closer to us. "Korra, is that the handsome Firebender boy that drives you crazy?" I blinked.
"Wait, you like Mako?" I asked, turning and looking down at my sister who was still trying to catch her breath.
"Does he drive you crazy in a bad way, or does he drive you crazy like you like him?" Ikki questioned rapidly. Korra looked panicked for a moment, glanced at the pond a little bit away from us and snapped her hand out. She brought a wave of water forward and shot the girls into the air before letting the water retreat back into the pond. Korra turned to Mako and cleared her throat.
"Oh, hey Mako." Korra greeted as the girls lowered themselves to the ground with their Airbending that also helped them dry off.
"Good evening Mako." I added.
"You two seen Bolin?" He asked us.
"Nice to see you too…" Korra muttered. "And no, I haven't seen him since practice."
"Is everything ok?" I asked worriedly.
"I don't know." Mako admitted with a shake of his head. "Bolin has a knack for getting into stupid situations. See you two later." Mako turned and started to walk away.
"Wait!" Korra called, hurrying to follow. "I uh...we could help you look for him."
"Nah, I got it."
"Mako." I said, jogging forward to keep pace with him and Korra. "Bolin is our friend, please, let us help you find him. We can take Nuki and Naga."
"Who are they?"
"They're our best friends." Korra told him. "And great trackers."

That is how Korra and I ended up on the streets of Republic City on our Polar Bear Dogs searching for Bolin. "Your best friends are...Polar Bear Dogs." Mako commented from his spot behind Korra. "Somehow that makes perfect sense." Saria chittered across my shoulders. She'd been on Air Temple Island all day and wanted to get out, and I think away from Ikki and Meelo.
"I'll take that as a compliment, city boy." Korra said. Nuki, Naga, Saria, Mako, Korra and I wandered towards Central City Station and the statue of Lord Zuko, the former Fire Lord of the Fire Nation.
"Well, this is his usual hangout." Mako said, slipping off Naga. Korra and I shared a look before getting off our respective companions. "You guys seen my brother today?" Mako asked a group of boys as we approached.
"Perhaps." A boy said. "My memory's a little...foggy." The boy approached Mako. "Maybe you can help clear it up?"
"You're good Skoochy, a real pro." Mako pulled out some money from his pocket and handed it to Skoochy.
"Yeah, I've seen him."
"When?"
"About Noon."
"What was he doing?"
"He was performing some kind of monkey-rat circus. And then…" Skoochy lifted his hand again.
"And then what?" Mako demanded as he deposited another Yuan into his hand. "Why'd he leave?"
"Shady Shin showed up and flashed some serious cash. Bo took off with him in his hot rod. The Triple Threats, the Red Monsoons, the Agni Kai's, all the Triads are muscling up for something real big. Now that's all you're getting out of me." Skoochy gestured to his friends and they all ran off.
"What was all that about?" I asked, tilting my head slightly.
"Sounds like there's a turf war brewing." Mako revealed. "And Bolin's about to get caught right in the middle of it." Korra and I shared a look. It wasn't long before we had mounted Nuki and Naga again and were searching again.
"So where are we going now?" I asked.
"The Triple Threat Triad's headquarters. Hopefully, Bolin's there and nothing's gone down yet."
"'Triple Threat Triad'?" Korra questioned. "Yunoh and I beat up some of those yahoos when we got into town. Why would Bolin get tangled up with-" Korra was interrupted when Nuki and Naga let out matching barks and started to chase something.
"Nuki!" I cried. "Nuki, slow down!" Our companions chased something until it ran up a pole. Naga whined, looking up at the creature. My eyes widened at the creature scrambling onto the signpost. It was a Fire Ferret.
"That's Pabu!" Mako exclaimed.
"No, Nuki." Kora scolded, yanking her reigns back to keep her Polar Bear Dog in line. "Pabu's a friend, not a snack, like Saria."
"I didn't know you guys had a Fire Ferret!" I said excitedly. I looked down at Saria who was eying Pabu. "It's ok, go over and say hi." Saria chittered and lept onto Naga's head off Nuki's. Saria found herself on Korra's shoulders as Pabu rested on Mako's.
"We gotta hurry." Mako said. Korra and I nodded and we were off. Mako directed us to the Triple Threat Triad Headquarters. How he knew, I had no idea and I didn't want to question it. When we arrived at the building, Mako looked confused. We dismounted quickly as Mako inspected. "Something's not right." He told us. "There are usually thugs posted out front. We better be cautious. Mako approached the doors slowly. I followed suit, keeping my footsteps light. I peeked into the building through the windows on the doors, but I didn't get a good look as Korra casually walked forward and kicked the doors in. We walked inside and the place was dead, no one at all. Nuki and Naga walked into the room, and we still had room to look around. "Bolin?" Mako called. "You in here?" We couldn't hear a reply, but the rev of an engine caught our attention. We raced to the back door and burst through, but it was too late. A truck was driving away with Bolin and a few other guys inside, accompanied by men on motorcycles. The truck started to drive away, and the open door was closed by another person in a black mask with red eyes and a red circle on their forehead. "Bolin!" We started to race after them, but two of the men on motorcycles threw something at us. Green exploded in our faces and gas spread through the alley.
"I got this!" I shouted over the sound of tires squealing. I followed Tenzin's movements from the day before, and pushed my hands outwards, sending a burst of compressed air in front of me to get rid of the gas. I then cut my hands upward in a V shape to disperse the gas into the air.
"Naga! Nuki! Come!" Korra ordered. Our friends appeared almost in an instant, and we mounted them quickly to give chase to the truck. Mako used his Firebending to try and melt their tires, but It didn't work.
"Keep straight." I told Nuki. She barked in the affirmative as she continued to run. I tensed my shoulders and created fists with my hands, jerking them upwards to create an earthen barrier to stop a motorcycle, but it was ineffective as the man sped around it. I growled, grabbing Nuki's reigns again. We raced after them into a clearing between the buildings. Three of the bikes turned sharply, and two of them threw weighted cables at us, I think they were called bolas. The cables wrapped around Nuki and Naga's legs, causing them to fall and throwing Mako, Korra and I off. We rolled a bit before stopping. I picked myself up and glared at the men as they lept off their bikes and in front of us. I lit a fist and lept towards them. I could hear Mako's flames and the trickle of Korra's water as the three of us fought. I managed to singe the shirt of the guy I was fighting, but in turn, he jabbed my left arm in a few places, causing it to go limp. My eyes widened. What in the Spirits was this? I continued to fight, using my legs and my right arm. With my disadvantage, my opponent easily got the upper hand and jabbed me in my other arm and down my leg to incapacitate me. He kicked me back and I landed next to Korra with a groan. I saw the men approach us with bolas, but two roars stopped them. Nuki and Naga lept forward, free of their bonds as they defended us. They let out snarls as Saria and Pabu lept off their heads and chittered angrily as well. The three men looked at each other and threw down green gas bombs and escaped on their bikes again. I grit my teeth as Nuki padded up to me. She allowed me to use her to stand while Saria chittered in worry.
"I can't Bend." Korra stated. I looked over to her to see her attempting to Bend some of the water on the floor. "I can't bend!" I looked down at my palm and tried to summon a flame. I panicked when nothing happened. I tried with my other hand, and that too was useless.
"Calm down." Mako soothed. "It'll wear off. Those guys were Chi Blockers. They're Amon's henchmen."
"Amon…" I muttered, the name ringing a bell. "Isn't he that guy who's all about Ant-Bending and wears that weird white mask?"
"Yeah, he's the leader of the Equalists."
"What do they want with the Triple Threats?" Korra wondered.
"Whatever it is, it can't be good. I can't believe Bolin got himself into this mess." Korra stepped forward and placed her hand on Mako's shoulder.
"Mako, we are going to save your brother. I promise you that."
"I promise too." I added. "I give you my word as the Avatar." Mako looked over at us and sighed slightly.

We ended up wandering around Republic City all night trying to find Bolin, but it was all for naught. Nuki and Naga were tired and were panting as they walked. "There's no sign of Bolin anywhere." I yawned, covering my mouth as I did. "And we've been out all night."
"We've gotta keep looking." Mako insisted. "But where." A lightbulb seemed to go off in Korra's head.
"I have an idea!" Korra exclaimed before leading us back through Republic City towards the park. We lead out Polar Bear Dogs towards the fountain, letting them drink gratefully. Pabu and Saria skittered forward, leaning on Nuki and Naga's heads to drink as well. Mako, Korra and I dismounted and lent on the fountain next to them. "The first day we got into town, we ran into an equalist protester over there." Korra pointed.
"That's right." I realised. "I forgot about him."
"And you think they'll know where Bolin is?" Mako asked.
"It's our only lead right now." And with that, our group retreated to a pair of trees. Nuki and Naga laid down, allowing us to lean on them as we sat down ourselves. Somehow, Pabu and Saria still had energy and were running around in front of us. "So why is Bolin running around with the Triple Threat Triad anyway?" Korra asked.
"Well, we...we used to do some work for them back in the day." Mako admitted.
"What? Are you some kind of criminal."
"Korra!" I scolded. "Let him explain."
"I'm not a criminal." Mako snapped. "You don't know what you're talking about Korra. I just ran numbers for them and stuff. We were orphans out on the street. I did what I had to do to survive and protect my little brother."
"I'm sorry." Korra apologised. "It must have been really hard. Can I ask what happened to your parents?" Mako sighed.
"They were mugged by a Firebender. He cut them down right in front of me. I was eight. Blin's the only family I have left. If anything happened to him…"
"I know the feeling." I sighed. "I'm an orphan too. I don't know who my birth parents were and I was so happy when Korra's parents took me in. They're my family now and I'd do anything for them." I looked over to Mako and smiled. He gave me a small smirk in return.

"Equality now!" Someone shouted, rousing me from my sleep. "Equality now! We want equality now!" I yawned as I sat up, stretching my arms over my head so my back cracked. I opened my eyes and saw a man preaching about the Equalists, the same man that Korra and I met when we first got here.
"That's the guy." Korra clarified to Mako.
"Non-Benders of this city, Amon calls you to action! Take back your city!" Korra, Mako and I stood and walked up to the man. "It's time for the-" The man noticed us and gasped. "You two again!" The man shoved his finger in my face, causing me to blink. "You cannot silence me, Avatar!" Korra reached forward and slapped the megaphone from his hand, causing it to smash into pieces as it hit the ground.
"I don't want to 'silence' you." I said softly. "I just want to ask you a couple of questions. Our friend was taken by Chi Blockers last night, do you know where they might have taken him?"
"I have no idea what you're talking about." The man crossed his arms defiantly.
"Oh, I think you do." Korra said. She bent water out from her pouch and created a water whip with it and cut the table in half. I sighed as flyers flew into the air, falling all around us. The man scrambled to pick them all up. Mako plucked one out of the air.
"'Witness the Revelation tonight, nine o'clock'." Mako read, looking down at the man. "What's this 'Revelation'?"
"Nothing that concerns the likes of you three." The man spat at us. Korra reached forward and yanked the guy into the air.
"You better believe it concerns us." She almost growled. "Spill it."
"Korra!" I scolded. "Put him down!" Korra glanced at me before slowly lowering him to the ground but keeping her fist tight in his shirt. I turned to the man. "Please, can you explain what this is?" I took the flyer from Mako and held it towards the man.
"No one knows what the Revelation is!" The man said. "And I have no idea what happened to your friend. But if he's a Bender, then my bet is he's getting what's coming to him."
"Where is it happening?" Mako demanded. A whistle blasted, and it was coming right for us.
"Hey!" A police officer called. "What's going on over there?!"
"The Avatar's Oppressing us!" The man in Korra's grip cried. "Help!"
"Let's get out of here." I suggested. Korra and Mako nodded. Korra dropped the man she was holding as Mako scooped up a couple more flyers. We mounted Nuki and Naga and bolted.

We found ourselves in a more industrial part of Republic City, reading over the flyers that Mako managed to grab. "Why didn't the Equalists put a location on these?" Korra complained.
"They did it as a countermeasure." I told her, inspecting one of the posters. "If the RSPC found the place then the entire Equalist organisation would be thwarted. Plus they don't want any angry Benders at their strictly Non-Bender Revelation."
"Whatever that is." Mako added. "I bet the information is hidden on here somehow. Look at the backs." I turned my paper around to see a pale green back with a tiny green sliver in the top right with a red dot.
"So it's a puzzle?" Korra questioned.
"Yeah,...of a map." Mako picked up a handful of papers as he stood.
"This one has a dot on it, it could be the location." I offered, handing him the flyer in my hand.
"Thanks." Mako took it and approached a map of Republic City on the wall. Korra and I stood as well, peeking around Mako as he tried to line the papers up with the map. "Bingo!" He said once it was lined up. "That must be where it's going down." The three of us exchanged glances. That's where we'd be tonight.
TIMESKIP
The location of this 'Revelation' was an abandoned warehouse. We watched as some people paused at the door that was being guarded before the man let them through. "This is the place." Mako confirmed. Mako, Korra and I were all dressed in covering clothes to conceal our identities. I pulled my hair out of it's usual bun to hide it under a hat but pulled some hair over my eye to hide my scar. Korra had Mako's scarf around her neck to hide as well. As we approached the door, Korra latched onto Mako's arm. "What are you doing?"
"We'll attract less attention this way." Korra told him. We approached the doors. The man saw us and crossed his arms.
"This is a private event." He stated. "No one gets in without an invitation."
"Uh...invitation?" I sighed, slipping my hand into my jacket to pull out three flyers.
"Are these the invitations you're talking about?" I asked as I handed them over. The man took them and looked over each. He smiled when he apparently found what he was looking for.
"Brother, Sisters, the Revelation is upon us." The man said as he gestured inside. We entered the building and followed the path to one of the floors of the warehouse.
"Oh Spirits…" I breathed when I saw the gathering. There were well over a hundred people in this warehouse, and I had no idea if more were coming.
"I knew a lot of people hated Benders, but I've never seen so many people in one place." Mako admitted. "Keep your eyes out for Bolin." We walked down the steps and into the heart of the Non-Benders just as large stage lights flicked on.
"Please welcome your hero, your saviour, Amon!" A voice echoed. I looked to the stage to see a light emitting from said stage. A handful of people rose onto the stage, one had a weird moustache, and one was Amon. The cheers around us were deafening, and my heart sank. Do people genuinely hate Benders? Amon approached the microphone and everyone died down.
"My quest for Equality began many years ago." He announced. "When I was a boy, my family and I lived on a small farm. We weren't rich, and none of us were benders. This made us very easy targets for the Firebender who extorted my father. One day, my father confronted this man. But when he did, that Firebender took my family from me then...he took my face." The crowd gasped. "I've been forced to hide behind a mask ever since. As you know, the Avatar has recently arrived in Republic City." I tensed as a resounding 'boo' echoed around me. I felt a hand on my shoulder. I could tell it was Korra giving me silent comfort. "And if she were here, she would tell you that Bending brings balance to the world, but she is wrong. The only thing Bending has brought to the world is suffering. It has been the cause of every War in every Era, but that is about to change. I know you have been wondering 'what is the Revelation?'. You are about to get your answer. Since the beginning of time, the Spirits have acted as Guardians of our world and they have spoken to me. They say the Avatar has failed humanity, this is why the spirits have chosen me to usher in a New Era of Balance! They have granted me a Power that will make Equality a reality, the power to take a person's Bending away...permanently."
"No…" I breathed, my eyes wide in shock. "He can't…"
"This guy's insane!" Mako hissed.
"Now, for a demonstration." Amon said, gesturing to the side. "Please welcome, Lightning Bolt Zolt, leader of the Triple Threat Triad." I watched as a large man with grey and white hair and dressed in crimson clothes be hauled onto the stage. "And one of the most notorious criminals in Republic City." The crowd booed again.
"Ah, boo yourself." Zolt retorted. I watched as four more people were brought onstage. Three more members of the Triad...and Bolin. I paled, my hands tightening into fists. Bolin looked terrified.
"There's Bolin." Korra said, moving forward.
"Wait!" Mako muttered, pulling her back. "We can't fight them all. We need to be smart about this."
"Then come up with a game plan, team captain."
"Zolt has amassed a fortune by extorting and abusing Non-Benders, but his reign of terror is about to come to an end." Amon continued. "Now, in the interest of fairness, I will give Zolt the chance to fight to keep his bending." The weird moustache man cut the ropes around Zolt and shoved him to the opposite side of the stage.
"You're going to regret doing hat Pal." Zolt said. He shot fireballs at Amon, who managed to dodge them easily, stepping back and forth. Zolt shot lightning at Amon, who dodged it as well and managed to get in close, grabbing Zolt's arm and spinning him around. Zolt's lightning going everywhere. Amon grabbed the back of Zolt's neck and then reached up to press a thumb to his forehead. I watched in horror as Zolt's lightning turned to flames and then disappeared. Amon dropped Zolt to the floor and stepped back. Zolt shakily got to his feet and punched the air, falling forward. "What...what did you do to me?" Zolt rasped.
"Your Firebending is gone, forever." Amon told him. I sucked a breath in through my teeth, my eyes wide.
"That's impossible." I said shakily. "No one but Avatar Aang could do that."
"The Era of Bending is over!" Amon declared. "A new era of Equality has begun!" The crowd cheered as the Waterbender onstage was hauled to his feet.
"Yunoh, any ideas?" Korra asked me. My head snapped over to her.
"Me?" I asked. "I...uh…" My brain was fried. I couldn't come up with a plan, Bolin was gonna lose his bending and it was all gonna be my fault.
"I think I've got one." Mako spoke up, causing us to look at him. "See those machines? They're powered by water and steam. If you two can create some cover, I can grab Bolin without anyone seeing, then we duck out of here."
"Works for me." Korra said.
"Yeah." I added softly. "Let's do it." After wishing each other good luck, Mako separated from Korra and I. The two of us slipped away from the crowd and towards the back of the warehouse. We traversed a corridor of pipes.
"Yunoh, here." Korra said, nearing a wheel on one of them. I approached Korra as she gripped the wheel and turned it, letting a little bit of steam hiss from the pipe.
"That's not enough." I knelt down to unscrew another wheel. The steam had just started to escape when a voice called out from the other side of the hall.
"Hey, you two!" It shouted. I looked up and saw the man who was checking the flyers as we walked in.
"Is there a problem, my brother?" Korra questioned.
"What are you two doing back here?" The man's eyes shifted between Korra and I.
"Uh...looking for the bathroom?" The man pulled a wrench from behind him. My eyes narrowed as he twirled it in his hand. Due to my lowered position, I quickly spun and kicked his feet out from under him. He yelped as his face hit the ground.
"Pouch!" I exclaimed as I leapt to my feet. Korra hurriedly uncorked the flask as I got into position. I bent the water out from it and wrapped it around the man's ankle, throwing him into the pipes and breaking them, causing even more steam to envelop the area. "This should be just enough." I told Korra. She nodded in agreement. The two of us stepped forward and focused on the steam. Together, we bent the water in the air around us before shooting it forward into the warehouse. We heard screams and I knew we had done it, hopefully just in time.
"Let's get out of here." Korra said, causing me to nod. We raced out of the warehouse, trying to find Mako and hopefully Bolin. I heard the crackle of electricity and the familiar grunts of fighting.
"This way!" I exclaimed, skidding to a stop and darting through an alley. I saw the moustache man standing above Mako and Bolin.
"You Benders need to understand, there's no place in the world for you anymore." He growled. I planted my foot and punched upward, sending a piece of the pavement into his chest and knocking him back. He groaned as he shakily pushed up, glaring harshly at Korra and I as he spotted us.
"I wouldn't count us out just yet." Korra commented as he fell to the floor. I put my fingers to my lips and let out a shrill whistle.
"Nuki!" I exclaimed. "Naga!" Our two Polar Bear dogs came hurtling to the sound of our call. I rushed over to Bolin, throwing his arm over my shoulder as I helped him up. Nuki skidded to a stop beside me and I quickly helped Bolin on, pulling myself up as Nuki started to make a run for it after Naga who had Korra and Mako on her saddle. We raced away from the warehouse and into the night.

Korra and I didn't arrive back on Air Temple Island until almost midnight. My heart was still racing as we shuffled through one of the walkways towards Tenzin and a couple White Lotus guards. "Thank goodness." Tenzin said as he saw us. He approached us with a look of relief on his face. "I was just about to send out a search party. Are you two alright?" I walked into Tenzin, wrapping my arms around his waist and burying my head in his chest, the events of the day weighing heavily on me. Tenzin wrapped an arm around me and carded his fingers through my hair that was still out. "What happened?" He asked softly. "Did you find your friend?"
"Yes but…" Korra started. "We were at an Equalist rally. We saw Amon."
"What?"
"He can take someone's bending away, Tenzin." I said into his robes. "Permanently."
"That...that's impossible. Only the Avatar has ever possessed that ability."
"We saw him do it, Tenzin." I looked up at him. "It was terrifying."
"I believe you. I don't know how Amon has achieved this power, but this means the Revolution is more dangerous than ever. No bender is safe." I squeezed my eyes shut as I pressed close to Tenzin again. His arms tightened around me as I silently cried.
