Months of intense training goes by Goku and Vegeta are now far stronger than any other saiyan that they know Goku and Vegeta fight each other almost every day to see who is stronger but surprisingly they are even in power
Gohan and Videl have a daughter named Pan so Gohan has stepped down from training for a while to spend time with his new family Goku is proud of his sons both are married and have kids Chi-Chi is also very proud of the twins
More months go by Goku and Vegeta have almost fully mastered super saiyan blue Vegeta has even found a level above super saiyan blue it looks just like super saiyan blue but it's dark blue this new transformation is much stronger and faster than regular super saiyan blue Whis calls Vageta's new transformation super saiyan blue evolution or just blue evolution for short Vegeta isn't a fan of this name but doesn't care enough to make up his own name
About two weeks go by and another destroyer god named Lord Champa shows up and challenges Beerus to a tournament the prize is Earth and the super dragonballs Goku is excited to fight Goku says "Come on Beerus I know we can win if super saiyan blue isn't enough than Vegeta's blue evolution should be more than enough" Beerus agrees to host this tournament

Goku and Vegeta are trying to figure out who they will bring to the tournament Goku wants to bring Gohan and Goten Vegeta wants to bring Nappa thats perfect for Whis and Beerus five incredibly strong saiyans the group trains for the next few days constantly in super saiyan blue over these few days Goku temporally taps into super saiyan blue evolution but can't access it fully yet

When Goku Gohan Goten Vegeta and Nappa arrive at the tournament arena they introduce themselves to their opponents they find out that one of the enemy fighters is a saiyan Goku is a little excited and asks the young man his name his name is Cabba Goku asks "Can you go super saiyan" Cabba answers "What's that" Goku explains everything about super saiyan hoping that Cabba will eventually be able to transform into a super saiyan
the tournament begins
The fights begin with Nappa taking the lead Nappa wins his first fight but not the second one next up is Vegeta he wins the next three fights in the final fight Vegeta is having some trouble until he powers up to blue evolution and wins the fight after the fights are over Cabba asks Vegeta to teach him super saiyan Vegeta says "Think about something that will get you angry multiply that feeling by one thousand and then let out all of your rage" Cabba listens to Vegeta and eventually transforms into a super saiyan Vegeta is a little surprised that Cabba could become a super saiyan on his first try before anyone could leave the grand Zeno shows up and says he wants to host a tournament of power
training continues
Goku and Vegeta are training harder than ever before to make sure they are strong enough for the tournament of power Goku can now use blue evolution properly Vegeta on the other hand has fully mastered the transformation Vegeta has finally surpassed Goku this makes Vageta happy Goku is now training ten times harder in hopes of surpassing Vegeta these two saiyans have a very intense rivalry pushing each other farther and farther past their own limits every single day
another warning from the future
one day Goku and Vegeta are training with Whis at capsule Corp when the three future half saiyans arrive and warn Goku about an imposter Goku and the Supreme kai of the tenth universe this gets the attention of lord Beerus future Gohan explains everything about their future an evil Goku and a Supreme kai show up and kill a lot of people Beerus and Whis leave to prevent it from happening in this time the future half saiyans explain more saying that the Supreme kai was immortal but master Roshi used the evil containment wave on him dying in the process
training for the tournament of power
the tournament of power is only a few days away Goku is training with his family he needs ten fighters for the tournament Whis decides that the fighters will be Goku Gohan Goten Bardock Nappa Vegeta Krillin piccolo Gine and Trunks ten fighters eight of them have super saiyan blue and two of the eight saiyans have blue evolution Goku has even tapped into a new power but only momentarily
Goku is worried he knows that If his universe doesn't win it will be erased he hates himself for agreeing to something this stupid but he can't back out that chance was lost the second he agreed to participate in the tournament Goku trains harder and harder each day Gohan and Goten can see that Goku isn't acting normal he is silent his energy isn't as calm as it usually is Goten asks "Are you OK dad" Goku answers "I'm fine I'm just a little worried about this tournament I don't want to be responsible for my friends and family getting erased from existence I'm going to fight harder because for the first time I'm not sure if we can win this I have to throw most of my thoughts away during the fights and just focus on rage pure rage might be what we need the last time I let my rage take over was the cell games"

the tournament of power begins with Goku fighting brutally showing no mercy knocking three universes out almost instantly
Goku can't hold back he won't let his family and friends down eventually Goku sees a super strong enemy fighting Vegeta Gohan and Goten
Goku powers up into super saiyan blue evolution tackling the fighter sending them both out of the ring Goku says "Another one down the eleventh universe is toast without the big guy I just took out my boys got this" Whis responds "That was a very brave thing forcing an enemy out of the ring bringing yourself with him to protect your team"
the fights continue eventually Goku's team wins and uses the super dragonballs to restore all of the universes that got erased
two weeks later
Goku is fighting with Vegeta both are in the blue evolution transformation Goku is having fun Vegeta won't admit it but he is also having fun
the fight rages on with Bulma and Chi-Chi watching Bulma says "I'm not sure those boys will be satisfied with their power until they die" Chi-Chi responds "You're probably right but if they enjoy fighting I won't stop them" Bulma laughs
Goku and Vegeta stop fighting Goku says "I hope you know Vegeta I won't stop until I'm far stronger than you" Vegeta responds "You're dumber than you look if you think I'll let you surpass me Kakarot"
