Out near route 22, Z and Daisy Oak tried to conceal themselves within the local vegetation, ahead of them laid a group of Bee like Pokémon that had managed to encircle an unfortunate lone bear like Pokémon, regrettably for them Z had his sights on them!
"Beedrills! I can see about 10 of them, but what's that little Pokémon that they're trying to get?"
"No way, Its glowing!"
"can you see what it is?"
"I'm pretty sure it's a Teddiursa, I was hoping for something like this."
"we have to be careful, it's strange for it to be this far from Mt Silver, especially without a parent."
"I think we should be safe, it looks like it snuck out to steal some Beedrill honey, see the crescent moon on its head, apparently when every they find or have honey it starts glowing"
"I see, then chances are these Beedrill are out chasing this guy for revenge"
"exactly! We need to save the little guy!"
"NO! we shouldn't get involved, the last thing we should do is piss off a nest of Beedrill, let's get going Z… Z?" looking to the side Z was nowhere to be seen, returning her attention ahead of her she could see him charging ahead, with no time to think she threw out her Pokémon.
"go Seych, Clefable, distract them Beedrill, protect Z"
"Clefable!" "Blissy!"
Z at this moment in time had already made it halfway without the Beedrills noticing, presumably to preoccupied with Teddiursa to notice their surroundings. Z wasn't going to complain he was going to use this opportunity.
"GO Magikarps" while running Z threw out 2 pokeballs ahead of him, as his 2 Pokémon appeared flopping on the ground, he bent down scooping them by the tail, now equipped with his weapons he attacked the back of the closest Beedrill to him.
"MagiSlash!"
CRITCAL HIT, the Beedrill was defeated without any time to react.
With one less Beedrill buzzing falling to the ground, the swarm turned their attention to their fallen brethren.
Keeping his momentum Z threw the Magikarp gripped in his right hand, aiming it directly at the Beedrill ahead of him on the opposite side to the one he had just defeated.
Teddiursa who had been hiding in between a group of rocks terrified was now stunned seeing the sight before it, speeding through the air, was a flying Magikarp zooming towards a Beedrill. When it looked back at where the Magikarp had come from, it could see a young human boy running towards him with his had extended towards him.
Teddiursa had always been taught by its parents to stay away from humans and warned of the dangers of being caught. yet seeing the hand be extended to it in this moment, it saw hope, moments ago it was on the edge of death, it had no place to run and hide which caused it to be surrounded, all due to its greed of honey. Now seeing an opportunity to survive, it couldn't help but take a chance.
"Grab on little guy I got you!"
"tedi" Running up Z arm it wrapped its arms around his head
"hey! What are you doing I can't see! Shit!"
"CLEFABLE!" charging in at extreme speeds, Clefable was once again showing off its prowess in speed and strength, darting around the battlefield landing comet punch after comet punch!
"Quickly Seych Eggbomb before it's to late!"
"Blissy!" Having already charged up the move, it shot out its mortar like eggs, launching them into the air, after a second they all came raining down, leaving only dust and craters.
"was that overkill?" nothing but silence could be heard on the battle field
'so far so good' still Daisy didn't drop her guard yet, not until she could see the situation for herself.
with the dust clouds slowly clearing she could see Beedrill after Beedrill fainted on the ground, unlike the Rattatas, you could see that she held back on the firepower despite using the same moves.
"hmm I don't see Z anywhere?"
"Clefable" it was pointing off to the distance
"He kept going that way hmm, at least he's heading in the right direction. I would be lying if I said I wasn't worried, arghhh this isn't my responsibility! Why couldn't he be more reliable like Red and Blue, damn all Red needed was a map and he was sweet to go!"
Clefable and Seych just watched as their trainer walked up and down repeatedly while still ranting.
"Huh" stopping mid-sentence, Daisey started counting the Beedrill.
"Seven, Eight, Nine, Magikarp, HUH where's Ten? I know I counted 10 at the beginning!"

"BZTTTTTTTTTTT" a storm like sound of buzzing began erupting from the distance
Daisy looked down at the Beedrill at her feet, then she looked back up into the distance, then once again at her feet, repeating this processes as if she was stuck in a loop.
"how can this be happening, what if I heal them, will they forgive me?"
Daisy was usually quite rational, but this situation was unique, many times Daisy had been warned how dangerous bug swarms could be, let alone a Beedrill nest. It wasn't a joke to say that it would take a little army to deal with them.
"What am I saying they're going to be pissed! We got to run! Let's go guys before it's to late!" Bending down she grabbed the fainted Magikarp, together running with her Pokémon beside her, she headed back towards viridian city
Looking behind her, one last time she yelled "SURRVIVE Z ILL FIND YOU WHEN I CAN!"
"ACHOO!" wiping his nose with his arm, he continued to move forward, joining along for the ride was Teddiursa walking alongside him.
"FUCK! I didn't return Magikarp! FUCK!" Z was about to rage yet seeing Teddiursa beside him, he decided to hold it in, just in case he scared the little guy.
With his anger subsiding he couldn't help but feel depressed.
"only one blade, I don't like our chances, Magikarp I hope your okay, Daisy you better have picked her up!"
Back when they had escaped Z had been completely blinded by Teddiursa paws, not knowing the situation behind him, he could not help but think that he could be stung at any moment, with such thoughts coursing through his brain he couldn't help but run with all his might. Now after having run a safe distance, he had no idea where he was nor what direction he had come from, his only choice was to keep moving forward hoping he would eventually find another person or path.
Teddiursa on the other hand was on high alert, having calmed down it was curious about the human beside it, despite what it had been told, this boy seemed weird but friendly, he showed many interesting emotions, if only it could understand what he was blabbering on about.
"so was I right?"
"Tedi?"
"the honey, I could smell it on your paws before, was it worth it?"
"Tedi?"
Z began acting like a Beedrill, reenacting it colleting pollen from the flowers, then moving over back to its nest which was a nearby tree. Z then stopped his Beedrill sounds and walked over to where Teddiursa was standing.
Teddiursa couldn't help but step back after watching the boy's odd behavior.
Z simply turned around and got on his knees facing the tree, he licked his finger, then used it to draw a C like shape on his head, after reaching down and grabbing some dirt and rubbing it in, could you tell that it was a mimic of Teddiursa crescent moon.
"Tedi?"
"Teddiursa!" Z started pointing his hands to his head acting like the symbol started glowing, he then started walking over to the tree on his knees while rubbing his belly.
Teddiursa was laughing nonstop, it watched on seeing what the human would do next.
Z still making his Teddiursa cries walked over to the tree and pretended to scoop up some honey, he repeatedly did this action while shoving the fake honey into his mouth until his belly was full, causing him to fall on his back rubbing his tummy with a big smile finishing with one last "Teddiursa"
after a few seconds of relaxing Z started making Beedrill sounds, switching back into his Teddiursa character he started acting afraid and began running off.
"and scene! So, is that what happened?"
"Teddiursa!" nodding his head, Z could see that he was correct.
"Thank Arceus! I don't think I could do another scenario"
"BOOM!" right in front of Z and Teddiursa the tree used in the play was shot down by a lightning bolt, blinding both of them for a time.
Rumbles of thunder could be heard in the distance, after a few moments they both regained their vision.
Z looked at the tree that was now burning in flames and then to the sky, nothing could be seen but dark clouds and the sounds of thunder still crackling.
"we got to get out of here! This storm isn't normal huh"
Teddiursa was already wrapped around Z's leg, as if begging him to get it out of here!
"Tediii!"
"you don't need to tell me twice let's get out of here!" Bending down he grabbed Teddiursa with his hands holding him close, once again with all his might he started running.
"hold on tight!"
"Teddiursa!"

During this time, certain events where taking place in a secret base in Celadon City in the Kanto region.

A man with his back turned from his desk, pushed a button on the side of his chair, opening the doors behind him.
A young man dressed in all black with a Red R on his chest entered the room, after bowing he walked over to the front of the desk.
"Sir, I have todays daily report"
"Proceed"
"Sir, first on the list is the Eevee project, Dr Zager has confirmed that he has completed his research and is ready for the next phase"
"how many samples succeeded?"
"Only one sir"
"Only one! Are you telling me after all that money, Zager can only provide me with one sample! Have it transported here immediately along with Zager! I want to see it with my own eyes if he really succeeded before we move on to the next phase"
"Yes Sir, what would you like us to do with the failed experiments?"
"The usual, get rid of the broken ones then send the rest of them to the Game Corner, I've noticed Lance getting suspicious lately, I don't want him catching on to our plans so soon"
"Sir will do, next is the leaders in charge of the Mt moon fossil project, they have requested reinforcements, apparently Mt moon is to large, with their current numbers it is reported it will take them years to fully search the mountain and its caves."
"Send reinforcements from Viridian City and send some grunts from here to recruit people from Cerulean City as well to help"
"Sir, one last thing, the Mewtwo project, Dr Blaine reported that he has insufficient material to complete the project at this time. he is willing to test a theory that could help put the subject into the final stages, but due to the risk he requested we move the subject to another facility as a precaution"
"let us see how the Mt Moon project proceeds first, if it fails, agree to his demands. Make sure to inform me, I want to be on site when he awakens"
"Sir" The man bowed and made his way out of the room closing the doors behind him.

The young boy passed the berry to the mother Kangaskhan, taking the berry she then fed it to her young baby. Within moments you could see the berries effects.
"Hahahahahahahahaha! Your baby is all better now." The young boy was satisfied with his work!
"Hmph! If you hadn't interfered earlier Red, I would've caught it and took it to the Pokémon center."
"Oh come on Blue, how many times do I have to tell you! it's not really winning if your opponent is at a disadvantage"

Meanwhile also in Viridian forest.
A scientist could be seen collecting water samples while testing the levels of chemicals found in the water.
"Huh…? Why did the pH level suddenly increase? What's in there?"
the Scientist leant over the pool of water trying to see what could cause a sudden change like this.
"Huh!?" seeing something suddenly moving towards him from the bottom of the water he turned and tried to run as fast as he could.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHH" unable to fight off his assailant he was pulled down below.
A young Nurse with Pinkish hair was just about to finish up for the day.
"Phew! That's enough Pecha berries for today."
taking off her gloves, she bent down to pick up her basket.
"rustle rustle" sounds of bushes moving in the distance could be heard.
"Is…. Is someone there….?" Feeling her fear reach its peak, she constantly observed her surroundings.
"come out or ill get serious!" but then the sounds stopped.
Suddenly
"Ahhhhh" unaware of her attackers position she was unable to defend herself.
A young teenager practicing his swimming skills decided to train in Viridian forest today. Lately it was hard to find a place that wasn't crowded with other swimmers or Pokémon trainers.
After a few laps he started to run out of breath, so he decided to have a little break by floating on his back while starring up at the beautiful sky. This was the only place in Viridian forest where the sky was actually visible.
"Uhhhh! The water here is so great…. I could stay like this forever. Ouch! What was that? AHH! WHAT BIT ME! AHHHHH! HELPPPPPP!"
The young Swimmer started spinning rapidly while being pulled, as if he were caught in a whirlpool.
"AHHHHHHHH! HEEELPPPPP MEEEEEEEE! HEEEEEEELPPP MEEEEEE! PLEASSEEEEE!
