Blaze had started her training over the weekend, calling work to permit her to start her training on Saturday rather than on Sunday as planned. Thankfully her new workplace permitted her to do so, since she was a quick learner, they allowed her to work without any major supervision on her first official day on Monday. Blaze stood in front of her full-length mirror, ensuring that she looked professionally set for work. There she stood, with a set of black tight jeans, some black running shoes, and her work-shirt with a black visor attached with her name-tag. Now her work shirt was interesting since they have an "Alice in Wonderland" theme. This meant that every employee there obtained a different shirt based on skill level. Going from Alice, the Doormouse, March Hare, White Rabbit, Mad Hatter, Cheshire Cat, the Caterpillar, and the Red Queen. She still isn't sure of how the orders along with the skill levels are arranged yet but since she's new to "Wonderland" she was assigned with an Alice-designed t-shirt. Blaze was honestly impressed by how this company runs and assigns itself. Making her smirk at her reflection since she was beginning to feel good about how this is going to turn out for her. After ensuring she was ready for work she grabbed her keys and phone off the counter, heading towards the door, making her way towards work.
Shadow had just parked his motorcycle in front of "The Mad Hatter", entering the brewery, as he entered he was greeted with a warm sensation that seemed to be illuminated off of the lilac figure behind the counter. He walked towards her slowly with his usual frown and hard gaze, as he got closer where he was able to truly distinguish her, he was also met with a hard expression as himself but the only thing different about her was that there was moving fire behind her gaze while he portrayed a sea of blood. He was honestly surprised to discover that this feline in front of him didn't fear him but kept her gaze with his, which stirred some curiosity within him, since she was at a comfortable distance from her it had also allowed him to capture a familiar smell. The smell of lilac, reminding him of the very thing he caught a glimpse of a few days back, but before he gets carried away with examining her more. He took a glimpse of her name tag on her visor, "...Blaze", he honestly found it a bit amusing since her name was as descriptive as his, possibly giving him a hint of who she may be. After his moment of amusement, he spoke her name out-loud, capturing her attention and making their eyes connect, as they held each other's gaze Shadow took it upon himself to place his usual order of a black coffee with a side of the muffin. Before Blaze placed his order she asked him for his patience since she was fairly new to the current job and wanted to ensure she did it correctly without any error, Shadow nodded in agreement to wait patiently but as Blaze steadily placed his order and was in the process of creating his French Roast, he also took it upon himself to examine her in a polite and swift manner. He had to admit that the color of her fur was very alluring since it obtained both a light purple with some royal purple if found thoroughly. He found her quite attractive since her figure held a strong posture that held both strength and curvature, informing him that this was a woman who knows how to hold her own ground. When he was able to capture a glimpse of her face all he saw was pure beauty through her naturalized features that came from her eyes, nose, and mouth. But what was truly glorious to him were those golden eyes that held a deeper shade of orange and red, replicating a burning inferno, intriguing him to wonder what dangers she possessed. When she returned with his order in her hand and was handing them over to him their fingers touched as their eyes met, this small event caused their hearts to skip a beat. Making Shadow pull back in surprise with his order in his hand, making him at a loss for words, passing his words of "Thanks" to the feline, hearing his voice come out like that made him produce a deep scowl and caused his ears to tilt down. While being filled with embarrassment, Blaze smiles gently towards the man, seeing how she was able to cause someone as stern as him to stumble a bit, which is flattering to her. As she was leaning on the counter with her face in her hand, genuinely admiring this moment, it allowed Shadow to capture the gentle side of this feline. Awing him for a moment, permitting him to regain his stern stature, politely telling Blaze "thank you" once again and sitting himself down in his usual spot within the cafe. Blaze had nodded in response to him and watched him leave the counter with a smirk before hardening herself again and returning to the cash register.
Shadow sat in his chair with his items placed down in front of him. Sitting there, dumbfounded, wondering what had just happened just a minute ago. Staring intensely at his purchased item as the wheels in his head spin. He's usually a man who can control his emotions and actions without any problems but there was something about this feline that made him act otherwise. So he sat there...wondering...why this woman made him act this way.
