Miracles of the Creek

Chapter 2: The Creek Council Reunites

The next day, as soon as Craig reunited with his friends at the creek and they quickly entered in the stump, he explained that Tikki was a living creature, not a toy.

Last night, Tikki wanted to tell the map boy the whole truth, but he told her that they should wait until the whole group was united.

"So, you are a what?" asked Kelsey, still trying to understand what the kwami of creation told them.

"A kwami" answered Tikki.

"It's a sickness?" asked JP, not even imagining what it could be.

"No, kwamis are creatures with immense power that represents abstract concepts. We are like tiny gods that, when used together, can change the whole reality, but with a big price to be paid" answered Tikki.

"But what are you doing here? And why these earrings are important and what this box has anything to do with all of this?" asked Craig.

"You see, kwamis' powers are pretty unstable, so they need these jewels so that humans can become heroes and use these powers safely" answered the kwami of creation.

"Heroes? Like, capes and powers and other things like this?" asked the map boy.

"Yes, exactly. As for the box, it is the place where the other kwamis and their miraculouses are located. There are a lot of other kwamis, like the kwami of perfection, diversion, and a lot more. I am the kwami of creation" answered Tikki. The three kids were astonished by what the little creature said.

"As for why I am here… it's because I need help. An evil man called Lord Vortech wants the kwamis to conquer other powerful objects around the universe to rule it all! I needed a holder to use my powers to defeat this man" said the kwami of creation, leaving the other three worried.

"An evil ruler wanting to conquer the whole universe, huh? The great warrior Kelsey needs to do something" said the knight girl, preparing herself to fight.

"We can't do that alone. It's time to assemble the Creek's Council" said the map boy, in an epic tone.

"Are you sure this is a good idea? Miraculous holders need to keep their miraculouses in secret" said Tikki, worried by their decision.

"We are just three kids. We need more help to solve this dimensional thing," said Craig.

As soon as they left the stump, they went to talk to the Timekeeper, so that they could call the other members.

They threw a paper airplane at her, with the musical notes necessary to summon all the members of the council and made a positive sign with their fingers.

Then, she started to play the notes in the paper airplane, and the whole council started to prepare themselves to reunite at the front of the Stump.

"I guess we should also be going, then" said JP, already preparing himself to return to the Stump.

"No, this time, we are going to need more help" said the map boy, believing that this mission needed more help.

They decided that it was necessary to call the Green Poncho. He was the most skilled out of the Creek Kids, and, with his whole experience with fighting against the king's army, he probably would know what to do.

However, as they were walking in direction to the overpass, they saw a girl that was easily recognizable to them.

"Sparkle Cadet?" asked JP, surprised to see that the girl was there.

"What are you doing here?" asked Kelsey, also curious.

"Oh, hello there, Stump Kids. I felt a large amount of negativity on the creek, and, with my positivity, I will defeat it!" said Sparkle Cadet, with the same optimism as always.

"Sparkle Cadet, we need all the help we can get. Can you join the Creek Council for today? We all reunite at the front of the Stump" asked the map boy.

"Of course! Sparkle Cadet always helps the ones that need her!" said Sparkle Cadet with one of her biggest smiles ever.

She soon started running to arrive at the Stump in time.

"Well, let's go back to finding the Green Poncho" said Craig, returning to their main quest of asking the guardian of the overpass for help.

The three were in the float they used to visit the Green Poncho. The Green Poncho was one of the most interesting Creek Kids they had ever met. Betrayed by his best friend and seen as a rebel by the Other Side of the Creek, he decided to protect the rest of the Creek from King Xavier's domain.

"Green Poncho, we need some help!" said the map boy, calling their mysterious friend. Out of nowhere, Green Poncho appeared behind the Stump Kids.

"Good that the three of you came here. I have some important news" said the guardian, surprising the three kids.

"Wait, you also have news?" asked Craig.

"Yes, you know those two friends of yours from the Other Side?" asked Green Poncho.

"The Honeysuckle Rangers?" asked Kelsey.

"Yes, those two. They warned me that King Xavier and Maya have disappeared. They are probably planning something" answered Green Poncho, leaving the atmosphere tense.

"And you three? What you guys need to tell me?" asked Omar, breaking the silence.

"Well, it is something that seems even more dangerous. We need you to join us at the Creek Council" answered the map boy.

"You guys know I need to stay here all day," said Green Poncho.

"We know, but, if the King and Maya are away, this means that it is safe to leave the overpass for a day, right?" asked the knight girl, trying to convince their friend.

"Please" said the Stump Kids at the same time. Omar sighed. If they were begging him to go, it's because there was something important going on.

"If it is for just a few minutes, I can go, but I really hope it is important" said Green Poncho, believing that it probably was something important.

As soon as every member of the council arrived, they were all confused by why there were new members over there. Besides the Green Poncho ans Sparkle Cadet, Stacks was also there, as Kelsey texted her to come. Other surprise was the Maney was in Mackenzie's place.

"All right, as you guys probably noticed, there are more members than usual. And it also seems Maney is in Mackenzie's place" said Craig, also noticing that one of the members was replaced.

"Yeah. Mackenzie is not okay today. She is a little sick. So, I am in her place. Neigh!" said Maney, doing a horse sound.

"Well going back to the main topic, we are going to need some help in a special mission" said the map boy.

"Hope it has nothing to do with that King from the Other Side stuff" said Eliza, with a voice of disdain.

"No, it is a lot more serious" said Craig, making the other a little more attentive.

"As some of you might know, we found a strange toy some days ago. We didn't know what it was when we first found it, but, right now, we found out exactly what it was. I think you should get out, Tikki" said the map boy, letting the kwami of creation reveal herself.

"Fascinating!" said Wren, really interested in this creature.

"Guys, I want to present you all to Tikki, the kwami of creation" said the map boy, leaving all the others confused.

"A kwa… what?" asked Kit, really confused about the little creature.

"A kwami. A tiny god linked to an object that can give humans some powers, and help them become superheroes, or supervillains, if they fall in the wrong hands" answered the kwami of creation.

"Please, this couldn't be sillier. You are probably just a weird toy or something like this" said Eliza, not believing in the words of the kwami.

"Then, let's do a little experiment. Try to take pictures of me with your cellphones" said Tikki. The council members couldn't understand how that would prove something, but they did it none the less. They were surprised to see that there was no sign of the kwami in their cellphones.

"We kwamis are made of magic and can't be seen by technological devices. Now, do you all believe in us?" asked the kwami of creation. Most of them nodded or shrugged, which was enough to the Stump Kids.

"Well, then, it's time to talk about when the story started. Years ago, the original guardian of the miraculouses ended up losing the moth and peacock miraculouses. The first had the skill of giving powers to people and the second with the skill of transforming these people's feelings in monsters. Years later, we found out that they have fallen in the hands of Hawk Moth. An evil man who wanted the Ladybug and Black Cat miraculouses to make a wish. But every wish has a price to be paid" said Tikki, leaving all of the kids intrigued.

"So, the guardian chose a girl with blue hair and a boy with blonde hair to hold these miraculouses. They became Ladybug and Chat Noir and started to protect Paris from villains and their sidekicks, created by the peacock miraculous" continued the kwami of creation.

"However, lately, a man made of energy called Lord Vortech took away these miraculouses of Hawk Moth and gave them to two new villains. With their help, he will try to conquer the universe. And that's why I need help. We need to save the universe!" finished Tikki.

"Wait, what? You want us to save the universe?" asked Eliza.

"I don't think it is strictly impossible. With the right equipment, we can travel through the dimensions and prove to everyone that I am a genius and save the universe!" said Wren, laughing like a mad scientist.

"As a Junior Forest Scout, it is my job to defend and protect the kids of the creek, and defending the universe is also defending the Creek. So, I accept this duty," said Jason.

"You guys can't be serious!" screamed Eliza, calling everyone's attention.

Foundation Prime

The class was still trying to escape from that cell. Kagami was repeatedly using her training sword to destroy the bars, but still couldn't do anything. After so many tries, the object broke in half.

"How can this thing be so durable!" shouted Kagami, mad by her failure. Marinette approached her to calm her down.

"Don't worry, we will find a way. These things can't be indestructible" said the blue-haired girl, trying to keep her friend calm.

"You know, in the begging, I found it weird for you to be Ladybug, but it does make a lot of sense. Sorry for being such a bad partner" said Kagami, disappointed in herself.

"It's not the fault of any of us. No one could know what Lord Vortech was planning. We just need to keep positive and find a way of running away from this nightmarish place," said Marinette.

At this moment, Alix noticed something the rest didn't. And it seemed to be important.

"Hey, did you guys notice that those three seem to be searching for something?" asked Alix, dragging everyone's attention.

"What could they be searching?" asked Alya, trying to see what it could be.

"Markov, can you leave the cell and tell us what is happening over there?" asked Max.

"Positive, Max" said Markov, discretely getting out by the middle of the bars. He started to approach them, however, as soon as the King noticed his presence, he used his cane to attack the little robot.

"Markov, no!" screamed Max.

"Well, well, well, it seems our guests want to know what we are doing" said Moth King, turning the attention of the trio to the class.

Lord Vortech approached the group with a wicked smile.

"You guys see, I need foundation elements to join all of the dimensions. The miraculouses are one of these foundation elements. So, I was searching for the lost miraculouses and I found where they are. This dimension also has it's own foundation element. So, two birds with one stone" said the portal man, laughing evilly.

"And why are you telling us all of this?!" asked Ivan, angry.

"Because you are all going to help. One way or another" said Lord Vortech, laughing once more.

"Never!" screamed Kagami.

"You won't have any choice. With the boost I gave to the moth and peacock miraculous, you will all be akumatized without any chance of saying no" said the portal man, leaving the others scared.

"Moth King, two akumas please" said Lord Vortech. The king concentered energy in two butterflies, transforming them in akumas. They flew in direction to the class members.

Kagami got in front of one of the akumas, trying to protect Adrien, making the akuma enter in the flower that was in her shirt. Kim did the same trying to protect Max and Alix, making the akuma enter in his schoolbag.

"Onichan and Dark Cupid, you two are going to find the miracle box and the foundation element at the Creek World and give both of them to us" said Moth King. The two tried to fight against his control, but, against their will, a purple energy started to cover them. In their places, Onichan and Dark Cupid appear.

Lord Vortech created a portal, let the two of them out and opened a portal to the Creek World.

"Oh no! We are doomed!" said Marinette, worried.

"We can't lose our optimism! You said your kwami will choose a new holder, right? So, they can save us!" said Rose, trying to give her friend hope.

"Hope you are right, Rose. Hope you are right…" said the blue-haired girl, trying to keep her optimism.

Creek World

All kids were looking at Eliza. They couldn't guess about what she was talking about.

"What do you mean by that?" asked Craig.

"If this was so serious as you are saying it is, these kwamis would have found someone else to help them. This is probably just a joke" said the pink-haired girl.

"It isn't! It is pretty serious" said Tikki.

"Really, what can this moth guy do to us?" asked Eliza with a mocking tone. Suddenly, someone threw a bunch of arrows at the council.

"Watch out!" said Kelsey, warning the ithers to avoid the arrows that were coming from behind. They all avoided them.

"What is this thing?" asked Kit.

"It's an akumatized villain! Run!" said the kwami of creation, making the others run. The Stump Kids and the Green Poncho, however, stayed.

"Give me the Miracle Box or you are going to pay" said Dark Cupid, in a threatening tone.

"You have no right of being here. Leave immediately!" said the Green Poncho.

"Never!" said Dark Cupid, throwing more arrows at him. Green Poncho, however, while jumping, avoided them and even caught one to throw at the villain, who also avoided it.

He was getting close to the villain, trying to punch him in the face. Suddenly, the symbol of the moth miraculous appeared in Dark Cupid's face.

"Omar don't lie to yourself. Deep inside, you are the same silly goofball that you always were" said Dark Cupid, making Green Poncho understand who were with the miraculouses.

Dark Cupid took his chance and punched Omar in the face, making him be throwed in the ground. Craig and the rest, however, caught him.

"Let's run to the stump!" said the map boy, receiving quick nods of his friends. Dark Cupid seemed mad about it, but, got calmed down by what Moth King told him.

"Don't worry, Dark Cupid. The miraculouses are somewhere around this place" said Moth King, through his powers. Dark Cupid quickly left the place.

Inside of the Stump, Omar was feeling a little better and told the Stump kids about his suspicions.

"Are you sure about this?" asked Craig.

"Yes. No one else would have called me Omar like this. Xavier and Maya are with the miraculouses," said the Green Poncho. He got up and started to get out of the stump.

"Wait! Where are you going?!" asked the map boy.

"I promised I would defend the creek against King Xavier. And I will!" said Omar, leaving the stump definitively.

The other three were incredibly worried about his decision. And not just that. They were worried about what was going to help them. There was no way they could defeat this supervillain.

"Your friend won't be able to fight against him alone. He would need a miraculous to do that! Craig, you need to use the miraculous to save all of your friends" said Tikki, leaving the boy surprised.

"But how?" asked the map boy.

"You need to say the right words to transform yourself. When you do, you will receive a powerful yo-yo and the ability to create an object that will help you. It's called 'lucky charm'. But you can only use it once, and, after you use it, you will only have 5 minutes with the powers before transforming back. Then, you will need to feed me so you can transform yourself again" answered the kwami of creation.

"But you said that he needs to go back to normal. How?" asked Craig.

"You need to break the object the akuma entered and purify it with you yo-yo. Then, the object you created needs to be thrown at the sky and magical ladybugs will fix everything" said Tikki.

The map boy sighed. He knew what he needed to do, but a small part of him was scared. The other part of him, however, screamed to defend the Creek.

"What are the magic words?" asked Craig.

"Craig, wait!" said JP.

"You can't do this alone!" said Kelsey.

"I need to" said the map boy.

"The magic words are 'Tikki, spots on'" said the kwami.

"Tikki, spots on!" said Craig. Tikki immediately entered the object and Craig was covered by a red light.
