Sparrow dropped to the floor, landing on his hands and knees while he groans in pain from the collar shocking him around his neck. He catches a glimpse of Grath using a lightning spell on the collar, the shocks became more painful as the collar was slowly over loading.

"We meet again hero," Grath said to Sparrow, "you came to rescue me, but you're no good to either us with that collar on."

The collar finally broke into hundreds of pieces in the air after the last bolt of lightning hit it. Sparrow could feel the relief on his neck, the skin that was left on his neck being able to breathe for the first time since this God forsaken device was put on him.

"There I removed it, it took me years to focus enough build to destroy our collars and take down that guard. I got nothing left, so when trouble comes...it will be up to you…"

Sparrow looked over to the now frail and limping Will user, holding his hand over his ribs trying to ease his pains. Sparrow uses a healing spell that he learned from Pilgrim to fix his wounds, they slowly heal with some marks remaining but it does the job and it's finally healed after so long.

"So that's what you've been doing all this time," Sparrow replied to him. "Could've been done a bit sooner if you ask me."

Grath slowly limps over to Sparrow, he ignores the remark and continues talking. "The only way out of the Spire is through the Commandant's chamber, so ready yourself."

"think you can still fight?" He asked Sparrow.

"It's been awhile since I had any combat, so I'll be a bit rusty at first," a grin soon appeared on Sparrow's face. "But I'll get the hang of it."

Grath smiled back with a nod, "then let's move."

Sparrow took the lead taking a path that leads to the Commandant's chamber with Grath following behind him, after working in the Spire for 8 years, he knows all the ins and outs, all the paths and rooms that cover the area of the Spire.

But not even when they were 20 feet away from where they started, Sparrow saw two Spire Guards running towards them then stopping in their tracks as they saw Sparrow and Grath.

"What in the..?" One of them yells, "THAT'S the Will user!" He then draws his sword behind his back, "And he's not wearing a collar!" The other yells before drawing his as well.

They both charge Sparrow as he pulls out his Steel Cutlass. He quickly blocks one hit from one of the guards with his blade, kicking the other to the ground. Swiftly he swipes at the guard's leg landing a hit, causing the man to fall to a knee which Sparrow cuts at his throat ending his life there. Sparrow then gets stabbed in the back by the other guard, he pulls away from the blade in pain before taking a strike at the guard who blocks it and tries to cut his head off but misses by an inch.

Sparrow rushes the guard hitting their swords together, with his other hand he grabs his steel clockwork pistol putting two shots into the guard's stomach causing him to step back. Sparrow quickly rushes him again and plunges his Cutlass into the man's heart, after a moment he pulls his blade back and the body falls to the floor.

Grath looks at Sparrow's wound with a bit of concern as blood drops to the floor, "are you alright?" He asked.

Sparrow looks down to see his own blood dripping down to the floor, before continuing walking towards the direction of the Commandant's chamber.

"I'll be fine." He simply reassures not wanting to make it a big deal. They need to keep going before more guards are aware of the situation and to leave the Spire, trying to heal his wound with Will healing would take too long and using one of his healing potions would be a waste. He'll be alright it was just a simple stab wound and nothing more, plus he's had worst when he first started hero work.

They both continue to walk towards the chamber's direction, bumping into more Spire Guards along the way. But with each new group that attacks them, Sparrow gets better and precise with his moves, using some Will powers here and there if he ever gets overwhelmed by numbers. Using his main and most favorite spell, mystical summons of blades that can cut through almost anything and can summon up to 7 that float around Sparrow and can be thrown at enemies or protect the user.

Soon Sparrow became untouchable, being able to cut down guards up close with his mystical blades protecting him and shooting from far with his Clockwork pistol taking most out before they knew where he was.

After cutting down another large group of guards that were standing out front of the chamber, both Sparrow and Grath made their way through the room to the window that looks over all of the Spire.

"We're not leaving until the Commandant is dead," Grath suddenly tells Sparrow with deep seriousness, which makes the young skilled Hero aback by the random demand.

"Listen I hate the Commandant just as much as you do, if not more," Sparrow clarifies, "but I think it's more important we get out of here then trying to get some revenge, there will be time for that later." As much as he would love to slit the throat of the bastard that tortured Bob, himself and many others, Sparrow wants to get out of Spire to see his family and to get Grath back to Theresa as soon as possible.

Grath shakes his head, walking over the window looking straight in front of him.

"It's not revenge I'm after for," Grath explains, "Revenge is just a fortunate byproduct of getting out of here."

He looks down towards the docks and something quite interesting that catches his eye, Sparrow walks over to him now beside him.

"A new load of recruits are coming in, take a look." Sparrow looks down to the docks, seeing multiple lines of recruits waiting on the docks nervously as a Spire Guard telling them the rules and jobs of the Spire. He also notices the two ships that are along each side of the dock that the recruits are waiting on.

"Those ships are our way out of here," Sparrow said with Grath nodding in agreement before around to face the center of the room.

"Now we need to find the Commandant." Then out of nowhere, Grath gets hit with a bolt force of lightning; dropping to his knees while shouting in pain. Sparrow turns around to see the Commandant being the one reasonable for the lightning, being accompanied by five Spire Guards around the room with their swords drawn.

"You!" The Commandant shouted out with his deep echoing voice, "I should've known it would be you that betrayed me! Lord Lucien will kill me for failing to keep order," he said as if Sparrow would even care about that, "but I am Obedient, and so before he does I will eliminate You!"

Sparrow draws Cutlass and his Clockwork pistol, walking down the steps that lead to the center area of the chamber. As he got to the end of the steps, a force field of electricity surrounded the small round center.

Sparrow looks at the field, now realizing that he'll have to fight in close-combat then range. Two guards behind the Commandant rush towards Sparrow direction, he quickly shoots at one of the guards taking him out with a head shot. The other swipes at Sparrow but he dodges it moving out of the way, he was about to stab the guard in the back but was hit with lightning from the Commandant, being pushed back to the field getting his back shocked badly before pulling himself away.

'shit!' his back was burnt pretty bad, he's back looking charcoaled up from the electricity But he pushes on annoying the pain as best as he could. There are now four guards around the Commandant with two of them now rushing Sparrow.

He focuses his attention on the Commandant, then he propelled himself forward with Will power plowing through the guards and cutting the two down with his sword before colliding his sword with the Commandant's pushing him back against the force field.

~

"Battle Charge is a very effective Attack type spell," Pilgrim explained in a serious matter, "it is used to propel the caster with great force, being able to knock down enemies of almost any size; Or it can be used to get yourself out of a very dangerous situation."

"To be able to use this spell, you must focus on the point that you want to get to and spread your Will to your legs to give that powerful push. The process is quite similar to how to use the spell "Assassin Rush" but we'll talk more about that later…"

~

The Commandant yells in pain being pushed into the electrical field. Raising his other hand towards Sparrow, hitting him with lightning bolts knocking Sparrow to the other side of the center.

The Commandant looks to see Sparrow getting back up to his feet and cutting down a guard that tries to attack him.

"It seems he's more skilled than I thought," the Commandant said under his breath. He raises his fist in the air, summoning 4 more guards into the room.

Sparrow summons mystical blades around himself floating above his head, as he slowly walks over to the Commandant and his men, with both his Cutlass and pistol drawn.

All the guards run towards him, while the Commandant walks slowly to one side of the force field. One guard lunges at Sparrow with two others trying to get at him on both sides but the mystic blades stop's the two, while the other guard found a blade embedded in his chest before dropping to the floor dead. Sparrow quickly took out one guard by stabbing him in the gut and shooting the other with a headshot.

The last two guards rushed at Sparrow with the help of the Commandant, lightning was sent towards him with him barely moving out of the way. A guard lounges at Sparrow, he was able to block the attack but the other guard got behind him and swiping at him. Lucky, a mystic blade blocked the attack and another stabbing him in the chest.

Sparrow was gonna finish off the last guard when the Commandant went to strike him. A mystic blade tried to block the attack when it faded out, the blades only last for 30 seconds when summoned. The Commandant stabbed his sword straight through Sparrow's shoulder. Sparrow dropped his Clockwork pistol, yelling in pain as the sword moves inside his shoulder. The Commandant removes his blade that is now half covered in Sparrow's blood and tries to strike Sparrow but he blocks it quickly.

Sparrow dodges another attack from the guard behind him before stabbing him in the throat. The Commandant rushes at him with his sword raised in the air, Sparrow uses Battle Charge toward the Commandant's direction getting a hit in on his leg before stopping on the other side of the force field.

The Commandant winces in pain as he looks at his new stab wound that received from Sparrow, growling in frustration. Why was he letting this insolent worm get the better of him with his cheap tricks of Will spells?

Sparrow put pressure on his shoulder to stop his bleeding from worsening as more of his blood dropped to the floor. He used some healing spell to at least stop the bleeding, he didn't have much Will energy left so he had to be calculated with each use of a spell.

The Commandant raised his fist in the air summoning more Spire Guards into the room, this time having 8 men to help him.

Sparrow took a deep breath before sighing as he ready himself in a stance after he summoned new mystic blades to help him with the fight. He realized if he was going to end this fight anytime soon, he needed to kill the Commandant now before he summons more men to assist him.

As the group of guards and the Commandant dashes over towards Sparrow, he charges a light blue orb of Will energy to build up the power of his blades, shaking them side to side; And before the group could get any closer, he releases the energy causing the blades to fly towards the them at blinding speeds. A few of them hit four guards killing three and injuring the other but the majority of them went to the Commandant's direction. Getting hit with three blades pushing him behind his men and dropping to his knees.

The other four guards still make their way to Sparrow, attacking all at once. Sparrow holds off against most of the attacks by blocking and dodging. One was able to Sparrow on his thigh before he was cut down, another was able to stab Sparrow in his abdomen before being taken down as the other.

Sparrow was getting slower, after the first two groups of guards he has been losing more energy to catch up with their attacks. Now he was bleeding profusely with the new wounds he received. Now was a good time to use that Healing potion, he just had to get away from these last guards.

Putting his arms out towards the guards, a sudden great force power pushes them off their feet and Knocking them to the other side of the center area. He used the spell Force Push, a spell that's mainly used to push a large group of enemies away from the caster with great force of energy.

Sparrow reaches for one of belt pockets along his side, pulling out the healing potion tugging off the cork of the bottle. But before he even tasted a drop of the red liquid, a beam of lightning hits him that was cast from the Commandant causing him to lose his grip on the bottle and dropping it to the floor. Shattering into thousand pieces across the hard concrete floor, the red shine of the potion mixing in with the red of blood that litters the ground.

"This is looking bad." Sparrow thought out loud.

Suddenly the Commandant teleported behind him while also summoning more guards around them. Sparrow tried to attack the Commandant but the tall gothic man blocked it before striking back. They started trading blows with each other but it seemed that neither of them could hit each other. That's when Sparrow was shot in the stomach by one of guards, then another shot him in his right arm.

Dropping to his knees and groaning in pain, Sparrow was now overwhelmed and losing the strength to fight by each passing second as he bleed out from all different wounds around his body.

"Now, to end your miserable existence once and for all." The Commandant raised his blade above his head, staring Sparrow with his black eyes holding pure hatred and disdain towards him.

Realizing he doesn't have any options left, Sparrow had one spell that could help him out of this mess. He doesn't know if it's the best idea considering the side effects but what other choice does he have.

Sparrow's body slowly began to shake, his muscles beginning to expand, he could feel his adrenaline rising and his heart pulsing rapidly, pushing more blood throughout his body.

The Commandant dropping his sword to cut off Sparrow's head to end his life and end this fight here and now. Suddenly a giant force of red energy originating from Sparrow, hits the Commandant and his men causing them to get knocked back and fall to their backs violently.

Sparrow didn't look like himself anymore, looking more like a giant brute, being covered in red energy that seemed to be made of pure primal anger. He was so tall that he made any human person look like a hobble in comparison.

His eyes were now the color orange and yellow, looking over to the Commandant with a look of pure hatred.

"Berserk is a Physical type spell, using this spell gives the caster unimaginable strength and power but at a cost. The spell will put the caster into a hulking frenzy, increasing speed and strength making the user almost impossible to kill or take down. But the caster will lose some sense of their ability for reason, acting more like a troll than a human."

Pilgrim looked over to Sparrow showing his concern to him, "this spell is very dangerous, so I only recommend using it at the most desperate times if needed."

"To activate the spell, think of memories that make you mad, that give you pain, to want to kill someone. Then use all of that negative energy with your Will throughout your body. And it will empower you as much as you let it."

-

"What the bloody hell happened to him?" One guard asked in horror.

"He looks like...a monster!"

The Commandant wasn't amused one bit by the transformation, it was nothing more than another trickful joke of a spell that he used to try to buy him some time.

"He's nothing more than a bigger target," the Commandant piped up, "now get off your arses and finish him!"

Three guards get up from their backs and run at Sparrow with their weapons drawn, Sparrow tightens his grip around his cutlass as the men keep running towards him. When they all got close enough he took one giant swipe, cutting through all the men like they were paper.

The whole room is filled with shock and horror as the bodies of the guards drop to down ground with a fleshy slap. The Commandant stares at what is left of his guardsman before looking back at Sparrow, who raises his sword towards him and his men with a cold death stare following to the end tip of his blade.

"Next…." the crazed brute barely said through his wide gritting teeth.

The Commandant looks in complete disbelief at the scene that he was witnessing, "What hell are you?!"
