Narrator: Last time, magic continued to be drained as the human Twilight Sparkle drained it out of some of our heroes! And Cinch still plots to get Ash to join Crystal Prep! And now, the Friendship Games continue!
Dean Cadance: So if the competitors are ready... [blows air horn] Each competitor must hit a bullseye before their teammates can start the next leg of the relay.

In an open field, we see Pikachu running around with Ash's hat on his tail, then putting it on smiling, as Ash and Goh announce the title.
Ash and Goh: Magic Showdown!
Soon, the tricross had begun, as Fluttershy and Sour Sweet had begun to do the course, as Sour flew through the obstacles with style and grace, as she took her arrows and hit all three of them at the target, scoring a bullseye. She grinned smugly while looking at Applejack, Sci-Twi, and Goh.
Goh: Show off!
Sour Sweet then looked over at Ash and blew a kiss at him, as well as a flirty wink.
Ash blushed from that but shook it off in order to stay focused.
Sour Sweet: He'll soon be mine!
Fluttershy was currently trying to hit the target, as Sci-Twi struggled through the course, much to Sour Sweet's frustration.
Sour Sweet: [growls]
She was now on the rope swing, but was struggling to get to the other side, while Sour Sweet pulled her eye sockets in frustration and gritted her teeth in anger. Soon, Fluttershy was able to hit her first arrow!
[crowd cheers]
She then gave the signal for Applejack and Goh to move on.
Applejack: C'mon, Goh!
Goh: Okay! I can do this! Raboot, let's move!
Raboot: [affirmative] Boot!
Applejack and Goh got their bow and arrows and Applejack made a perfect shot and so did Goh and Raboot even kicked some pebbles at the targets. But Sci-Twi on the other hand, wasn't having much luck. Applejack then fired another arrow and hit the bullseye and Goh did the same and Raboot managed to kick one last pebble to hit the bullseye.
Goh: Score!
Raboot: Raboot!
[crowd cheers]
Soon, Chloe, Rarity and Pinkie were given the signal to start the roller derby.
Chloe: [to Sunny and Lemon] See you at the finish line! [starts to skate]
Dean Cadance: And Canterlot is off to an early lead!
[arrows keep missing]
Sci-Twi was currently having no luck, as Chloe, Rarity, and Pinkie continued to do the track with them in the lead.
Sour Sweet: [sourly] Well, that's just fantastic!
Fluttershy: I'm sure glad I don't go to Crystal Prep.
Applejack: You said it.
Goh: I second that!
Pinkie Pie: [skating] Whee!
Dean Cadance: If CPA can't hit another bullseye soon, they'll be out of this race.
Sci-Twi continued to struggle to hit the target, as tears started to form in her eyes.
Sugarcoat: You're really bad at this!
Gengar's Old Trainer: Weak!
Ash: You shouldn't say that! She's trying her best!
Gengar's Old Trainer: Who says so?!
Ash: I do! You should be more supportive!
Gengar's Old Trainer: Whatever!
Applejack: Ugh! I can't take anymore! [walks over to Sci-Twi]
Goh: Applejack, what are you doing?
Applejack: Helping her! [to Sci-Twi] Ya have to stop aimin' at the target.
Sour Sweet: [sweetly sarcastic] Oh, that makes perfect sense! Don't aim at the target! Thanks so much!
Goh: [growls]
Applejack: Ya have to stop aimin' at where the target is an' aim at where the target's gonna be.
Sour Sweet: [sweetly sarcastic] Yeah! Definitely take advice from the person [sourly] you're competing against!
Goh: [angry] Would you knock it off?! You're only making this much worse!
Sour Sweet: [sourly] You stay out of this!
Goh: Not a chance! She's your teammate! You should be helping her!
Sour Sweet: Hmph!
Applejack: Do you wanna hit the bullseye or not?
Sci-Twi: [wipes tears] [nods]
Applejack: Then trust me. Take a deep breath.
Goh: You can do this! Remain calm!
Sci-Twi: [deep breath]
Applejack: And let the arrow go... riiiiight... now!
[arrow whooshing]

Soon, Sunny Flare and Lemon Zest were given the signal to start.
Puppy Spike: Yeah! That's my girl!
Goh: [screams] It talked! It actually talked!
Sour Sweet just backed away while freaked out by the talking dog, as Sci-Twi cuddled Spike. As Applejack was about to high five her, Sci-Twi ended up hugging her.
Applejack: See? I was tellin' ya the truth.
Goh: Got that right!
That's when Applejack started to pony up, as Sci-Twi's device started taking her magic!
[magic noises]
[device hums]
Applejack: Eh... what... are... you... doing?!
Sci-Twi: I don't know!
Raboot: Raboot?!
Soon, Applejack's magic had been drained.
Goh: [helps her up] Applejack! Are you alright?!
Applejack: I think so!
As Sci-Twi was backing away, she ended up tripping over Spike and dropping the pendant. Then there was trouble! The device sent off a wave of energy, opening a few portals, and a few strange plants came out of them. Meanwhile, Rarity, Pinkie, and Chloe were ahead of the two CPA girls on the track.
Dean Cadance: Canterlot only has two laps to go! But it looks like Crystal Prep is making up for lost time!
Soon, Lemon Zest and Sunny Flare started catching up to them.
[Shadowbolts fans cheering]

Little did they know, more of the strange plants started popping out from the portals, as Sci-Twi tried to reach her pendant.
Rarity: Come on!
Pinkie Pie then hung onto Rarity's leg, as she swung her forward, sending her flying past their rivals, scoring another point.
Rarity: Chloe, take my leg!
Chloe: Your leg? Why?!
Rarity: [swings her forward] Trust me!
Chloe: [going fast] WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!
Soon, she raced across the finish line and scored another point for CHS!
Dean Cadance: What a finish!
Soon, the motocross had begun, as Ash, Rainbow Dash, Sunset Shimmer, Gengar's Old Trainer, Sugarcoat, and Indigo Zap started their bikes, and began the race.
[engines rev]
Ash seemed to be enjoying this a lot.
Ash: Woohoo!
Pikachu: [cheering] Pika!
Little did they know, more of the strange plants started sprouting some more from different portals as Sci-Twi struggled to get her device.
Sci-Twi: Aah!
Rainbow Dash: [jumps over ramp] Awesome!
Ash: I know!

Then there was trouble! The strange plants had appeared and were attacking the course, as Rainbow, Sunset, Ash, and Goh noticed this. Luckily, the riders were able to dodge, but Sunset fell off her bike!

[crowd gasps]
Goh: What's going on?!
Raboot: Raboot?!
As the monster plant was chomping down on one of the motorbikes, Rainbow and Ash saw Sunset in danger and did the courageous act of turning around to face the vile vines! Just as the plant was about to devour her...
Ash: Pikachu, Thunderbolt! Gengar, Ice Punch!
Pikachu: [using Thunderbolt] PIKA...CHUUUUUUUUUUUUU!
Gengar: [using Ice Punch] Gen...gar!
Everfree Forest creature: [roars in pain]
Goh: Quick, Raboot! Use Ember back-to-back!
Raboot: [using Ember multiple times] Raboot! Raboot! Raboot!
Everfree Forest creature: [roars in pain]
Soon, Rainbow rode in on her bike and grabbed Sunset to safety.
Sunset Shimmer: You guys saved me!
Rainbow Dash: We weren't about to let our friend become plant food.
Ash: We're your friends!
Goh: And we've got your back!
Pikachu: [agreeing] Pikachu!
Raboot: [agreeing] Raboot!
Sunset Shimmer: Thanks, you guys!
Soon, Rainbow Dash pulled over and ponied up, revealing her wings! Cinch took notice of this and glanced at Celestia, who shrugged and smiled nervously.
Goh: [gasps] Rainbow! You're flying!
Rainbow Dash: We can still win this!
Ash: Yeah! Hop on, Sunset! We're gonna ride to victory!
Sunset Shimmer: Okay!
Goh: I'll keep this monster busy! Raboot, fire an Ember barrage!
Raboot: [using Ember barrage] Raboot! Raboot! Raboot! Raboot!
Everfree Forest creature: [roars in pain]
Ash: Be careful, Goh! Let's ride!
Pikachu: Pika!
Sunset Shimmer: Yeah!

Rainbow Dash: [flying] [punches plant monster] Hey, Goh! Need a hand?
Goh: Thanks, Rainbow Dash! [tosses a Poké Ball] Heracross, you help too! Use Megahorn!

Everfree Forest creature: [roars in pain]

Sunset Shimmer: [blushes] Ok!
Right now, Sunset was currently blushing of being this close to Ash, despite the situation.
Sunset Shimmer: [in her head] This almost feels so romantic!
While Goh and Rainbow were fighting off the plants, Indigo Zap was currently in the lead, but then she fell into a ditch, caused by one of the plant monsters. Rainbow and Goh saw her in distress as Rainbow Dash punched the plant in the snout.
Goh: Raboot, use Double Kick over and over!
Raboot: [using Double Kick over and over] Raboot! Raboot! Raboot! Raboot!
Everfree Forest creature: [roars in pain]
Ash: This is awesome, Sunset!
Pikachu: [agreeing] Pikachu!
Riolu: [agreeing] Riolu!
Sunset Shimmer: You said it!
Suddenly, another plant monster came in on the attack!
Ash: Pikachu, Iron Tail! Riolu, Vacuum Wave!
Pikachu: [using Iron Tail] Chuuuuuuuuuuuuuu...Pika!
Riolu: [using Vacuum Wave] Olu! Olu! Olu! Olu!
Everfree Forest creature: [roars in pain]
Ash: We're almost there! Full speed ahead! Hold on tight, Sunset!
Soon, they were nearly at the finish line, but Indigo managed to catch up with them, as another plant was coming up from behind them! Luckily, Rainbow Dash slammed into it as Gengar used Ice Punch to knock it to the ground.
Rainbow Dash: Phew! Nice one, Gengar!
Gengar: [holds hand up for high five] Gengar!
Rainbow Dash: [returns it] Yeah!
Soon, Ash, Sunset, Indigo were neck and neck!
Indigo: I'm the one that's gonna win, cutie!
Ash: We'll see about that! I'm shifting into third gear!
They were now at full speed, and the winner was…
Vice Principal Luna: Ash and Sunset win the race!
Dean Cadance: Which means Canterlot wins!
The CHS students cheered!
[Wondercolts fans cheering]
Soon, Ash and Sunset got off the bike, as Ash gave a friendly glance to some of the female students and posed.
Ash: Thank you! Thank you! You're all too kind!

Riolu: Rio!
Cherry Crash: He's so awesome!
Golden Hazel: And so daring!
Aqua Blossom: And courageous!
Goh: Way to go, Ash and Sunset!

Ash turned to more of the CHS and Crystal Prep girls as he smiled and waved. They all swooned and fainted from his charms!
Dean Cadance: Attention, students, please proceed to the gym.
Meanwhile, Sci-Twi was able to get a hold of her device, closing it shut, making all the plants and portals disappear, as she grew worried.
Applejack: Is everybody all right?
Rainbow Dash: [flies down to them] Better than all right! We won!
Ash: Yeah! We did it!
Pikachu: [cheering] Pika Pika!
Riolu: [cheering] Riolu!
Goh: We sure did! Despite the huge plant monster!
Raboot: Raboot!
Sunset Shimmer: [takes helmet off] Yeah, we won, but somebody could've been seriously hurt. The magic is going haywire and I have no idea how to fix it!
Sci-Twi: Um, excuse me, I didn't mean for any of this to happen. I just wanted to learn about the strange energy coming from your school. I didn't know that it was magic or... how it works.
Rainbow Dash: That's okay. Neither do we.
Goh: Yeah! We barely understand it either!
Sci-Twi's device started draining Rainbow's magic!
Sci-Twi: Oh, no! Oh, no no no! Not again!
Rainbow Dash: [struggling]
Ash: What's going on?!

Goh: Now it's happening to Rainbow!

Sci-Twi: I'm sorry! It just started absorbing energy on its own! But I'm not sure how!
Sunset Shimmer: What do you mean you don't know how?!
[portal opening]
That's when the device opened up a portal to a night sky. Little did they know, Cinch was watching them.
Sci-Twi: It also causes these corresponding rifts to appear! I don't know how that works either.
Sunset Shimmer: [angry] Is there anything you do know?! Like how to get our magic back?! Or how to fix the portal to Equestria?!
Sci-Twi: Equestria?
Sunset Shimmer: [angry] You're supposed to be so smart, but did you ever think that you shouldn't be messing around with things you don't understand?!
[portal closing]
Sci-Twi: But I wanna understand!
Sunset Shimmer: [angry] But you don't! And worst of all, you put the lives of my friends in danger!
Sci-Twi: [voice breaking] I'm sorry. I didn't mean to. [sobbing] [runs off]
Puppy Spike: Twilight, wait! [runs after her]
After realizing what Sunset had done, she facepalmed herself guilty, as Rainbow put her hand on her shoulder.
Goh: [angry] Real smooth, Sunset! Real smooth!
Ash: Knock it off, Goh! [puts a hand on Sunset's shoulder] I'm sure you didn't mean that!
Little did they know, Team Rocket was just witnessing what went down.
Jessie: Did you two see that?!
Meowth: We did! The glasses twoipette just sucked away the rainbow goil's magic!
James: But that's impossible! There's no such thing as magic!
Jessie: Well it's possible in this crazy town!
James: [drawing a diagram] So, from what we've learned, the twerpette's device seems to drain magic whenever any of those girls grow those strange ears, long hair, or those wings!
Meowth: That could probably be the best thing to give to the boss!
Jessie: Really? How so?
Meowth: If we can get that pendant from the glasses twoipette, we can modify it to the energy and power from all the Pokémon in the world and they'll have to come to Team Rocket in order to get their energy back!
James: A brilliant plan, old chum!
Meowth: Let's forget that mutt she has! It can speak like I can!
Jessie: I don't know! It seemed pretty fascinating if you ask me!
James: Not only will we get Pikachu, but also a talking dog to boot!
Meowth: Oy vey!
Wobbuffet: Wobbuffet!
Cinch smirked at seeing the magic they possessed, as she thought of a plan, but that's when...
Principal Celestia: [clears throat]
Principal Cinch: You can't possibly call that a fair race.
Principal Celestia: Principal Cinch, we all saw what happened. You can't think CHS had some kind of advantage.
Principal Cinch: Can't I? Even without your trained attack plants, your students have wings!
Principal Celestia: Well, the race certainly had some... extenuating circumstances. Perhaps we should end the games now and declare a tie.
Principal Cinch: A tie? [as Ash, Goh, and the girls approach from behind her] Was this your strategy all along? To force us into accepting you as equals? I think not. The games will continue and Crystal Prep will prevail despite your antics and whatever performance-enhancing regimen your students are on.
Before leaving, she had one last thing to say, but at Ash.
Principal Cinch: And you! I still want you as part of my school! And I won't stop until you accept my offer!
Ash: [growls]
Sunset Shimmer: Ash isn't going anywhere with you!
Ash: Got that right! My loyalty is to CHS!
Pikachu: [agreeing] Pikachu!
Riolu: [agreeing] Riolu!
Principal Cinch: Oh you will soon enough! That's my word! [leaves]
Sunset Shimmer: I'm sorry I couldn't stop all this from happening.
Principal Celestia: It's not your fault, Sunset.
Sunset Shimmer: Isn't it? I should know how to control the magic I brought here. But I don't. I let everyone down. And now Principal Cinch thinks we're cheating.
Principal Celestia: [puts hand on Sunset's shoulder] It doesn't matter what Principal Cinch thinks.
Sunset Shimmer: But it does. The students here at CHS don't just wanna win. They wanna beat Crystal Prep. It isn't gonna count if the other side doesn't really think they lost. Crystal Prep is never gonna believe we won fair and square if there's magic around. And that magic is only around... because of me.
Later on, the sun was setting, as CHS and CPA had gathered for the next event, while Ash, Goh, and the girls were conversing.
Ash: You alright, Sunset?
Sunset Shimmer: Oh, yeah! I'm fine!
Ash: You still feel about what you said to Twilight, don't ya?
Pikachu: Pika?
Sunset Shimmer: [sighs] I do! I feel awful for what I said to her!
Ash: I'm sure you didn't mean it, Sunset! You were just overwhelmed by what was happening!
Sunset Shimmer: I know! And I lost my temper! But I still feel kinda bad.
Ash: That happens! But you're still my friend, no matter what!
Sunset Shimmer: [hugs Ash] Thanks, Ash!
Ash: No need to thank me, Sunset! That's what friends are for!
Pikachu: [agreeing] Pikachu!
Sunset Shimmer: I know!
Goh: You guys! They're gonna announce the next event!

Dean Cadance: Before we get to the final event, I am pleased to announce that we shall start the Battle Tournament!
Ash: [excited] Alright! The Battle Tournament!

Dean Cadance: In this tournament, you'll be paired up for a tag battle, where you will each use two Pokémon with no substitutions! And whoever wins in the tournament will not only put them closer to the Great or Ultra Class, but they will receive the Prince and Princess of Battles Crowns.

Sunset Shimmer: [in her head] If I get paired with Ash! That could be me and him!
Principal Celestia: Now it is time to announce the match ups!

Gengar started having a flashback to when he first met Ash and Goh, and the mischief it caused. Then when it came back and possessed Ash, and ran into the city, where he bumped into his original trainer and his girlfriend, where he explained the truth, then attacked him with Shadow Ball. When it got captured by Team Rocket, it was rescued by Ash and Pikachu, then telling it he wants to battle alongside it, fighting off the Dusclops duo. After taking Ash back to the lab and giving him a bunch of apples, Gengar finally found a trainer he could trust, becoming part of Ash's Pokémon family, and winning a bunch of battles.
Gengar: [realizing] [in its head] Of course! Ash was the one that decided to give me a better home! And we've been working together ever since! And his friends, they all really do care about me, like Ash does! [smiling] [sheds a bit of tears] Maybe humans aren't all that bad after all!
Gengar's Former Trainer: You guys are just crazy! That Gengar is nothing but a bad luck machine!
Indigo Zap: You shut up!
Sugarcoat: The only reason you never succeeded was because of you! Not because of Gengar!

Before Houndoom could make the attack, Sci-Twi came in and grabbed Pikachu, pulling it out of the Psychic attack!
Sci-Twi: I've got you, Pikachu!
Pikachu: [poisoned] (smiles) Pika Pika…
Jessie: [growls] Gurdurr, do something!
Sci-Twi: [angry] I won't let you take Pikachu!
Ash: [gasps] Twilight!
Sci-Twi: Spike, a little help!
Puppy Spike: You got it! (growls) (bites Gurdurr's leg)
Gurdurr: [pained] Gur!
Sci-Twi: Goomy, use Dragon Breath!
Goomy: (using Dragon Breath) Goooooooooom!
Gurdurr: [pained] Gurdurr!
Bronzong: [pained] Bronzong!
That made Bronzong's Psychic stop!
James: Bronzong, use Flash Cannon on the mutt!
Bronzong: (using Flash Cannon) Bronzong!
Sci-Twi: Spike, look out!
Goomy: [concerned] Goom!
That was when Goomy grew serious and leaped in to protect Spike!
Goomy: (protecting Spike) Goomy!
Spike: Goomy! What're you doing?!
Goomy: (takes the hit) Goomy!
Sci-Twi: [gasps] Goomy!
Goomy: [pained] My! (gets up) [determined] Goomy!
Suddenly, a bright light washed over Goomy, indicating that it was evolving!
Ash: [gasps] Goomy's evolving!
Soon, the evolution process was complete and in its place stood the evolved form!
Sliggoo: Sliggoo!
Ash: It evolved into Sliggoo!
Goh: (pulls out Rotom Phone) Let's see!
Goh's Rotom Phone: Sliggoo, the Soft Tissue Pokémon. A Dragon type. Its four horns are a high-performance radar system. It uses them to sense sounds and smells, rather than using ears or a nose.
Sci-Twi: [cries tears of joy] My sweet Goomy's grown up!
Sliggoo: (using Dragon Pulse) Sliggoo!
Ash: That's Dragon Pulse!
Gurdurr: [hit] Gur!
Bronzong: [hit] Bron!
James: Oh no!
Applejack: Let's give her a hand! Machamp, Focus Blast!
Machamp: (using Focus Blast) Ma...Champ!
Gurdurr: [pained] Gurdurr!
Applejack: [smirks] (tips her hat) Top that, missy!
Jessie: Brutal Swing!
Gurdurr: (using Brutal Swing) Gur...
Rarity: I think not! Glaceon, use Blizzard!
Glaceon: (using Blizzard) Glllllllllla!
Gurdurr: (frozen in place) Durr! (smashes ice with beam) Gurdurr!
Rarity: Well, in that case! (flips her hair) Glaceon dear, use Attract! (blows a kiss) Mwah!
Glaceon: (winks) Glace! (sends hearts over to Gurdurr)
That made Gurdurr fall under the spell!
Gurdurr: (hearts in eyes) Gurdurr Gur!
Jessie: Uh oh!
Meowth: Gurdurr's gotten all mushy!
Fluttershy: Vivillon, use Signal Beam on Bronzong!
Vivillon: (using Signal Beam) Vivillon!
Bronzong: [hit] Zong!
Pinkie Pie: Slurpuff, use Fairy Wind! WHEE!
Slurpuff: (using Fairy Wind) Slur...Puff!

Ash: Yeah! [to Sci-Twi] Thanks, Twilight! You helped save Pikachu! I owe ya one!

Fluttershy: (gives Pikachu a Pecha Berry) Here, Pikachu! Eat this!
Pikachu: (eating Pecha Berry) Pikachu!
Soon, Pikachu was cured of its poison.

Ash: Thanks, Fluttershy!
Pikachu: (thanking) Pika Pi!
Fluttershy: You're welcome!
Ash: Now, let's finish this with a combination attack!

The next day at CHS, the rivalry between CHS and CPA had finally ended, and the students were currently conversing with each other outside, and they were all given medals. Sci-Twi was currently cuddling with Spike and Sliggoo.
Dean Cadance: I guess that was one way to finish up your time at Crystal Prep. Pretty sure Cinch will be fast-tracking your application after all of that.
Sci-Twi: I've been thinking about it and... I'm not so sure now is the time for me to apply to Everton.
Dean Cadance: Really?
Sci-Twi: I may know about a lot of things, but friendship isn't really one of them. And I'm definitely not gonna learn more about it by being alone all the time.
Dean Cadance: So, you're staying at Crystal Prep?
Sci-Twi: Well, it seems the students here at CHS know an awful lot about the subject. I don't suppose...
Dean Cadance: You could transfer to this school instead.
Sci-Twi: Really?
Dean Cadance: You'd certainly be missed at Crystal Prep. But I think that's a great idea! I'll be sure to speak to Principal Celestia about it right away.
Ash: Hey, Twilight!
Pikachu: Pikachu!
Riolu: Riolu!
Sci-Twi: Oh! Hey, guys!
Pikachu: (jumps onto her shoulder) Pikachu! (nuzzles her) Cha!
Sci-Twi: Glad to see you're doing better, Pikachu!
Pikachu: Pikachu!
Ash: Yeah! After all, you did save it yesterday!
Sci-Twi: [giggles]
Dean Cadance: You must be Ash, correct?
Ash: Yep! That's me!
Dean Cadence: I'm Cadence! It's nice to finally meet the Alola Region Champion in person!
Ash: (shakes her hand) Thanks! Nice to meet you too!
Dean Cadence: And I wanted to thank you for helping all of us, both CHS and CPA, from that crisis!
Ash: Aww! It was nothing!
Dean Cadence: And I believe Sunset here has a surprise for you!
Ash: Huh? A surprise for me?
Pikachu: Pika?
Riolu: Rio?
That was when a moving truck came in with Sunset at the wheel, as she came out.
Ash: Uh, hey Sunset! What's up?
Pikachu: Pika?
Sunset Shimmer: Well, I talked to Principal Celestia yesterday and I told her that I was going to leave school to go on a journey with you since I told her about our newfound love and I'm moving out of my apartment and I'm moving in with you and Goh, Ash!
Ash: YOU ARE?!
Pikachu: PIKA?!
Sunset Shimmer: Yep!
Ash: Sunset, this is super awesome and all, but what about the girls?
Sunset Shimmer: I talked to them about it too! They know I have feelings for you and they don't mind if I went with you! Besides, I can still talk to them through video chat! And we are boyfriend and girlfriend, right?
Ash: Yeah! Of course we are!
Sunset Shimmer: (wraps an arm around Ash) And we can both work our way to Master Class to battle Leon together!
Ash: (smiles confidently) Sounds good to me!
Pikachu: (agreeing) Pika Pika!
Riolu: (agreeing) Riolu!
Principal Celestia: Actually, I may have figured out a way for you to be in both Kanto and Canterlot!
Ash and Sunset: Huh?
Principal Celestia: There are these things called Flying Taxis that can take people from one place to another! And you can still come to Canterlot High and be with your friends and be with Ash at the same time, so you can still graduate!
Ash: [excitedly gasps] Did you hear that, Sunset?!
Sunset Shimmer: I can still be with you and my friends at the same time!
Ash: Alright!
Pikachu: [happy] Pika Pikachu!
Riolu: [happy] Riolu!
Principal Celestia: Wonderful! I'll make the arrangements for the Flying Taxi!
Ash: This is awesome, Sun-
Then, she kissed Ash passionately on the lips again.
Ash: [blushes] [giggles] What did I do to deserve that?
Sunset Shimmer: For being the best boyfriend ever!
Ash: [giggles] You're the best girlfriend ever!
Sunset Shimmer: [giggles]
Later, Ash, Goh, and the girls were hanging by the statue.
Fluttershy: Still no word from Princess Twilight?
Chloe: I'm guessing she hasn't written back yet?
Sunset Shimmer: Not yet. But I think I may have figured out how magic works in this world. We pony up when we're showing the truest part of ourselves. I was so busy waiting for someone else to give me the answers that I gave up looking for them myself. I'm sure there will be more magical problems that pop up in this world, but like Applejack said, Princess Twilight has her own problems to worry about in Equestria. We can't expect her to always be around to help us.
Ash: That's awesome, Sunset! I'm really proud of you!
Pikachu: (agreeing) Pikachu!
Sunset Shimmer: Thanks, Ash! (kisses his cheek) Plus, there's still an important message I need to write to her!
Ash: An important message?
Goh: What's the message?
Sunset Shimmer: (hugs Ash) That I have a new boyfriend!
Ash: [giggles] And I have a new girlfriend! I love you, Sunset!
Sunset Shimmer: I love you too, Ash!
Goh: You two sure make a cute couple!
Chloe: I'll say!
Goh: But now, I wonder who's gonna help us with magic situations?
Sci-Twi: But maybe I can be?
Principal Celestia: It seems we have a new Wondercolt here at Canterlot High!
Sci-Twi: I'm not sure how much help I could be. But I'd like to try. If you would all give me a chance.
Principal Celestia: I'm sure I can count on you girls to help her feel at home.
Sunset Shimmer: You sure can.
Ash: Got that right!
Dragonite: (hugs Sci-Twi) Brwar!
Sci-Twi: Aww! You're really friendly for a Dragonite!
Dragonite: [happy] (nuzzles against her) Brwar!
Sci-Twi: (nuzzles noses with Dragonite) And you're really cute!
Dragonite: [happy] Brwar!
Soon, the HuMane 6, plus Sci-Twi, all did a seven way group hug. Sunset looked over to Ash, Goh, and Chloe and smiled.
Sunset Shimmer: [in her head] Things will be happier and livelier now that I'll be a part of the family/team! [speaking] Come on, you guys! Join in!
Ash: You got it!
Goh: Okay!
Chloe: Why not!
Soon, all 10 of them, including the Pokémon, group hugged. A few days later, Ash, Goh, and the girls were having a picnic by the remains of the school statue.
Sunset Shimmer: I'm glad everything's okay now! [to Ash, with a sandwich in her hand] And I finally have a new boyfriend! (holds the sandwich to his mouth) Say 'ah', Ash!
Ash: Ah!
And he took a bite of the sandwich!
Ash: Thanks!
Sunset Shimmer: [giggles]
She then rests her head on his shoulder.
Sunset Shimmer: I love you, my handsome Element of Harmony!
Ash: I love you too, my pretty Sunshine! Handsome Element of Harmony?
Sunset Shimmer: You are the Hidden Element of Harmony after all! And you're incredibly handsome! (kisses his cheek)
Ash: [giggles] And you're my sweet Sunshine!
Sunset Shimmer: [giggles]
Sci-Twi: (looking at his Rotom Phone) Wow, Goh! I'm surprised you caught every Bug type in Kanto, all five Flabébé, as well as Flygon's full evolution stage!
Goh: If you want to complete the Pokédex, catching the evolution line is one way to do it!
Sci-Twi: I'll say! And I can't believe you wanna catch Mew!
Goh: Yep! And my goal lies in the palm of my hand!
Sunset Shimmer: Plus, since I'll be in Kanto, you'll have me to help you out!
Goh: Awesome! (fist bumps her)
Sunset then pulls out her Rotom Phone and pulls Ash to her.
Sunset Shimmer: Smile, Ash!
Ash: [giggles]
Pikachu: (joins in) Pika!
The first one involved them making faces!
The next one involved them making two halves of a heart!
Another involved Sunset cuddling Pikachu and Ash nuzzling with Houndoom!
One of them included Sunset nuzzling cheeks with Ash!
And the last one involved them kissing on the lips!
Ash: Wow!
Sunset Shimmer: Yeah! These turned out great! And you looked great in them, Ashy!
Ash: So did you, Sunshine!
Sunset Shimmer: (nuzzles noses with Ash) I love you, sweetie!
Ash: [blushes] [chuckles] I love you too!
Suddenly, the statue glowed, and out came another Twilight Sparkle!
Twilight Sparkle: I'm so sorry I didn't get here sooner! I didn't get your messages until just now because I was caught in this time travel loop and, honestly, it was the strangest thing that's ever happened to me!
That's when she noticed her human counterpart and her jaw dropped.
Pinkie Pie: (slurping drink)
Twilight Sparkle: Make that the second strangest.
Goh: Whoa! Two Twilight Sparkles?!
Raboot: Boot?!
Ash: [eyes sparkling] Awesome!
Pikachu: [awed] Pikachu!
Riolu: [awed] Riolu!
Narrator: Having successfully stopped Midnight Sparkle! Our heroes have a new addition to the family as Ash's girlfriend! And in all honesty, I thought he'd never get one! And life will be more lively than ever! As the journey continues!
Mew: (floating by) [giggling] Mew!
