A/N: And after all those trailers were finally knocked out, here I am. Sorry for the detour, but the reason I didn't put any of those spinoffs into the main story is I didn't want to feel like I was delaying the story. Now then let's get onto the show.
Beacon Academy
Three days had passed since the initiation ceremony. Inside the hallowed halls of hunters past and present, there was a commotion. Inside the dorm room of team RWBY.
"Why the fuck do you have so many gods damned clothes?!" Ruby gestured at the ten separate luggage bags Weiss had deposited on the floor.
"It's called fashion you dolt! Why are you constructing..that...that monstrosity in our room?!" Weiss gestured to the workstation Ruby had been crafting the moment they had gotten in the room.
"It's my workspace! It helps me make cool shit that I can use to blast faces off. Besides, I built it from scratch. I am not using shitty old-school workshops to touch up my baby." Ruby was seated down at her workstation, wearing a welder's helmet as she finished putting together what looked like a handgun, it was the same color as her scythe. She pointed it at the wall, firing off a few rounds, then the handgun shifted until it became like the spike that went on the end of her crescent rose. She pulled the trigger again, and the spike shot out with a line attached into the wall, then retracted taking a section of the wall with it. "Boom!" Ruby grinned while her teammates looked at the big hole in the wall.
"Sooo. We have no room. Between Blake's porn collection." Yang began.
"Smut." Blake corrected her with a grin.
"Smut. Weiss' fashion store, and Ruby's workshop." Yang gestured around at the small amount of space they had. "We gotta design this room better," Yang mentioned. "So how about bunk beds?" She offered, and everyone looked at her.
"That sounds...childish…" Weiss deadpanned stared at her.
"I like it. Though I call top bunk." Blake said with a small smirk as Weiss glared at the taller ebony-haired beauty.
"Alright, but don't break any of my fucking tools. Or I turn you into my new test dummies." Ruby got up, taking a large tack box out. She dumped it on top of Weiss' foot, making the Heiress shriek bloody murder. She quickly recomposed herself, however, gingerly moving the box off her foot. Without a word, she joined her team in constructing their bunk beds. Just keep yourself calm and collected Weiss, a Schnee never loses her cool. She thought to herself even as she felt her foot throbbing, and her aura repairing the broken bones in her feet.
"Wait what time is it?" Yang asked after they finished constructing the heavy-duty metal frames for the bunk beds. Well they had, Ruby was still fixing some extra stuff to her bunk.
Blake pulled out her scroll and her yellow eyes widened at the time. "We have three minutes until Orientation." Everyone blinked.
"Why didn't you say anything?" Weiss said panicking as she pulled out a compact mirror, her makeup wasn't finished yet.
"You didn't ask Princess," Blake said with a wink and slinked out of the room. Weiss grumbled as she raced after her, Yang shrugged and casually began to walk, not a care in the world.
"MOVE IT BITCH!" Yang received a mighty kick to her rear and was flipped over Ruby's shoulder as they began booking it to the classroom. Not far behind, team JNPR looked at the display going on. And ran after their sister team, going oof when turning around a corner. As Ruby leaped over a wandering Cardin, stomping on his face using it as a springboard. There was a crunching noise as his nose bent an awkward angle. Jaune ran around him, while Ren and Pyrrha leaped over him. Nora stomped over his legs making him scream out, much to his team's dismay who picked up their injured leader, carrying along with them.
While that was going on Ruby continued to grunt as she managed to take first place in the impromptu race, despite still carrying her heavier sister. Yang covered her blushing face with her hands, embarrassed how her little sister could easily carry her. Blake was both impressed and a bit concerned about how strong and fast Ruby was. Weiss felt a little annoyed, she had been in the lead at first, and while the concern was still getting to class on time. She didn't want to lose to her asshole of a leader. Weiss took out her rapier and created a set of white glyphs as she zoomed past Ruby. She smirked in pride until she saw the mix of yellow and red rose petals zoom past her. She shook her head and growled. She clicked her heels together creating a set of ice blade skates, with the revolver switching to ice dust, she began speeding up, going neck and neck with the petal burst. Short coughing broke her focus, as she looked away from the petal burst, seeing a disapproving Glynda. Weiss tripped over herself, and the other teens racing behind her crashed into her. Glynda sighed facepalming as Ruby got out of her semblance, and dumped Yang on the ground, and strolled into the classroom flipping off everyone.
While everyone was getting out of the heap, Ruby was already seated in the classroom. Taking out a cigarette, Ruby ignored the glare from Glynda not giving a fuck. The strict teacher sighed letting it pass, remembering the agreement that Ruby and Ozpin had gone through. As everyone marched into the class, Ruby whistled and gestured to Jaune. "Sit your ass down here boy." Ruby patted the seat next to her, Jaune gulped and trudged over to her. Her team and his team followed close and sat on their respective sides of the two leaders. "You made it through the initiation blue eyes. That's great, so from here on out. I am going to teach you tricks." Ruby put an arm around Jaune, pulling him into a headlock. "Just stick with me and I can promise you won't die on the first day." She grinned, blowing smoke into his face.
"Excuse me?" A soft voice got Ruby's attention, as she still held Jaune in the headlock, Jaune flailing around and tapping on her arm. Pyrrha Nikos smiled with a nervous gentle smile.
"Well hello there hot stuff." Ruby grinned. The spartan blinked at the compliment. "Pyrrha Nikos right? Heard you're a gods damned badass fighter. We need to kick the shit out of each other sometime. If you don't manage to at least knock one of my teeth out. I will be disappointed." Ruby giggled and exhaled out more smoke.
"I uh… Thanks? Could you please let go of Jaune? I think he is starting to lose consciousness." Pyrrha and Ruby looked down at Jaune who was going blue. Ruby shrugged, letting go of the headlock, and Jaune gasped loudly for air, as he sat up.
"We definitely need to work on your breathing." Ruby clapped him on the back roughly. "So Pyrrha, you this guy's partner?" Ruby asked, roughly ruffling Jaune's hair.
"Yes. We're partners." Pyrrha smiled brightly.
"Oho. Well now, that's interesting." Ruby cackled. Pyrrha blushed while Jaune was too busy unconscious on the desk. Ruby leaned into Pyrrha and whispered to her. "Hey. He's cute but if you want to go for him. Go for him. He's a real pushover, just grab his junk or smack his ass." Ruby then leaned back while Pyrrha was a full-on tomato in hue. "Of course if you don't do it first, I might take a shot," Ruby said while suggestively making a lewd gesture with her fingers. Pyrrha sobered up and thought about it.
Screeching noise on the blackboard got everyone's attention, Jaune even woke up. "Now class. It's time to stop fooling around, and get you prepared for orientation." When she was sure everyone was paying attention, she began writing on the chalkboard. Other classes used scroll integrated holograms, but she preferred the classics. "Your first year shall primarily consist of two things, first an evaluation of your sum total skills, and pushing you to break said limits you currently have and get on the true skill level of Hunters. Right now you're too weak to fight wildling Grimm. The Grimm that manage to get into civilized areas are often much weaker than their counterparts beyond the kingdoms. You would die in a real confrontation." Glynda said her voice deadly serious as she glared icy daggers at all of them. "To that end, when everything is set up. Each of you will be on teacher-assisted missions into the outskirts of Vale, and at the end of your first year. There will be a final test, the Vytal Festival. You don't need to win to pass, but it will make a good impression to the kingdoms if you impress." Glynda noted the gleam in the schnee heiress's eye. I am not surprised that she would want to gain recognition, the Schnee are a prestigious bunch. "Any questions?" Glynda asked.
"So does Sex Ed count in one of the lessons?" Yang asked with a loud laugh. A noise was heard as Ruby reached over Weiss, and slammed Yang's head into the desk. Glynda decided to not comment on that. "Now as for the classes, you will take. There is a History of the kingdoms, you will need to know them so you can better navigate them in the future, the teacher will be Professor Oobleck. There is also Grimm Physiology by Professor Port, and finally, I will be teaching you all in sparring. Three simple classes. You've made it this far, don't do anything stupid to jeopardize your place in this school. Otherwise, you will have to leave, and hope to try again another year." Glynda said chillingly. "And try not to die. Now then, since this is your orientation day, you are free to roam the campus for the rest of the day. Tomorrow, however, your schedule will be as follows. Breakfast, History, Grimm Physiology, and then after Lunch, Sparring. You may go now." Glynda shooed them all away.
Ruby grabbed ahold of Jaune's arm and dragged him along after her. "Seeya bitches later. I and Jaune are gonna have a private chat." Yang perked up at that.
"What do you mean by Private cha-" Yang got a knee to the face, sending her back down into the desk.
"I said private chat. Chill the fuck out cunt, just talking shop." Ruby rolled her eyes. Weiss picked up Yang by her arms, while Blake picked her up by her legs.
"Alright bitch. First things first. Gimme your weapon, I wanna check it out." Ruby held out her hands. Jaune gulped as he fumbled around and shakily handed Ruby his Crocea Mors. Ruby hummed as she examined the sword and shield combo weapon, it was pristine condition, classic, and a relic. "You know what the biggest problem with this weapon is?" Ruby asked Jaune as she leaned against a tree, they were in a park on the school grounds.
"It's not also a gun?" Jaune replied, remembering what she had said yesterday. He even smiled just a bit feeling confident about his answer.
"Close. And a correct answer. But not THE correct answer. The truth is, this is a decent weapon. But…" Ruby held the weapon up, tossing it with the sword in its sheath up and down in the air several times. "You didn't earn it!" Ruby yelled as she brought the weapon down over her knee, shattering the weapon made of solid metal in half. Jaune let out a cry of shock and horror.
"WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?! THAT WAS MY FAMI-" Ruby slapped him hard, sending him flying into a nearby tree. Jaune got up shaking his head and looked up at the smaller girl shivering in fear.
"I told you shit for brains. You didn't fucking earn it. Just like you didn't earn your way into Beacon. But I am cutting you some slack here because of two things. One you actually survived the forest so I am gonna give you some credit for that. And two, you make me laugh that's how I know you're a good person that isn't doing this for some retarded notion of glory or to get all the boys and girls in your pants. You're a really good dude, but you're sadly stupid." Ruby shook her head with a sigh and tossed out her cigarette. Jaune was confused by what was going on. "Look this job is bloody, people die, my dad died being a great big hero. I miss him and wish he was still around. I may be a colossal bitch, and hate pretty much everything." Ruby sat down next to Jaune, making him flinch a little. "But that doesn't mean I want people to just fucking die, especially when I can do something about it." Ruby took out another cigarette and passed it to him, Jaune shakily took it. "So here's the deal, I will take those broken pieces and later forge a proper weapon for you once you've earned it. In the meantime, though we can try out all kinds of weapons, to see what fits you best. And go ask Pyrrha to teach you how to fight, she is a championship fighter, she's your partner after all." Ruby lit up the cigarette she gave Jaune, and he smoked it. And to his surprise it had a very sweet taste, it still burned, but it was sweet.
"I… Don't know what to say…" Jaune admitted.
"You don't have to say a gods damned thing. Just come by my room tomorrow and I will have a replacement sword and shield for you. Though tell me, are you really married to being melee or can I sneak in some additional firepower in there?" Ruby took out a sketchbook from her jacket's pocket. Jaune scooted closer.
"How about an uh a handgun mixed into the sword?" Jaune asked with excitement.
"Hmm interesting idea, and with the shield combo that could work. But you have to worry about recoil depending on the size of the bullets. It would throw off your swordsmanship." Ruby corrected him as she began drawing some rough schematics.
Weiss and Blake hauled Yang back to their dorm room to get some rest. "Wonder what actually made her pass out. The queasiness she got from when Ruby was dragging her along into her semblance? Or did Ruby overload her brain with some aura?" Weiss panted due to the fact, Yang was a heavy girl, she was tall and well built with plenty of muscle. Not a good combo for her the small heiress to drag along, Blake was faring better much to her chagrin.
"That second part sounds more like something out of a manga. Not very likely. Didn't know a rich girl had interests like that." Blake commented with a chuckle.
"What's that supposed to mean?" Weiss asked icily as they put Yang onto her bed.
"It's just an observation. Not my fault if you put more meaning into it than that." Blake said while tucking in Yang.
"You appear way too cheerful compared to three days ago. You were so reserved and silent, I think I preferred that you." Weiss groaned as she slumped against the wall.
"I was just being cautious in case I didn't make it into Beacon," Blake said and nicked a book from her collection.
"Heh with talk like that, I am sure you will go far in life," Weiss said dryly.
"Seems to have worked so far. After all, I am not the one that keeps getting shown up by our illustrious leader." Blake said, grinning at the angered look on Weiss' face.
"Well Miss, I can't say I care for your passive-aggressive nature." Weiss wiped the sweat from her brow.
"I could say the same about your pretentiousness Ms. Schee," Blake said getting the last word in edgewise, as Weiss got up and stormed out of the room.
"You know she can make your life hell if she wants to, right? Her family practically owns dust and blah blah." Yang groaned awake.
"It's a little game. She could do that sure, but then she would lose. And she knows it." Blake said with a chuckle. "So why did you pass out?" Blake asked flipping a page to go back to where she was reading earlier.
"I was still sick from the joy ride my sister put me on. Plus I didn't want to press the issue of her spending some time with a boy." Yang admitted, rubbing her sore face.
"So you pretended to be unconscious?" Blake was amused, wondering how the heiress would react to that information.
"Hey, I got a free ride, didn't I? Instead of having to use my legs." Yang chuckled.
"So you're truly not worried about your sister being alone with a boy?" Blake turned another page.
"Eh not really. Ruby isn't really interested in romance right now. And she may act all tough and badass. But I told you she is a sweetheart, she would probably wait until she has the right person for it. Granted it doesn't stop her from admiring the goods she sees." Yang laughed remembering one poor boy.
"I see. And what about you?" Blake asked, turning another page.
"What about me?" Yang chuckled a bit off guard from the question.
"Well, you talk about your sister, but never about yourself. Surely you've had your eye on some 'goods' as you call them." Blake said in a flat voice, as she became immersed in the smut.
"Well, I uh… Sure there are some good-looking boys. Well, not Cardin. He's a bitch. But his teammates are cute, and Ren is cute, But I think Nora has a claim on him." Yang thought back to the tall boy, he looked eastern Mistralian with black hair with a single pink line in it, and wore traditional looking green robes, whereas his partner Nora was shorter than him with bright orange hair and almost insane looking green-blue eyes.
"I see," Blake commented, turning another page.
"I mean the girls are also cute. Weiss would probably be more adorable if she wasn't so cold all the time. Nora looks fun to be around, but I think we might party each other to death. Pyrrha hoo boi, I think she's way out of everyone's league. And uh… not sure what to make of you." Yang admitted honestly.
"Well, that's fair. I don't know what to make of you either. But I get the feeling that you have a lot more going under...the hood as it were." Blake put down her book and finished with it.
"What's that supposed to mean?" Yang said, raising her voice just a bit.
"It doesn't have to mean anything. Could be positive, could be negative. But I need to go get another book. Hope the library has some good ones." Blake leaped off the bed with nimble agility and then opened the window leaping out of it. Yang sighed turning around in her bed, mulling over what Blake had implied.

Measurements
Glynda sighed in exasperation, it was one more day until school officially began for Beacon. "Ms. Rose we can't take your measurements if you keep the jacket on." She said rubbing the bridge of her nose. Ruby flipped her off while chugging down what looked like Tequila. The other girls were waiting in line, Weiss was tapping impatiently. "I bet Ozpin doesn't have to deal with this kind of thing," Glynda muttered under her breath.
"Very good Mr. Arc," Ozpin said motioning for Jaune to turn around again. "So far so good," Ozpin remarked jotting down measurements. "Now then let's make sure these measurements are correct. Oobleck get the suits." Oobleck nodded and sped off with his speedy semblance at work. Jaune blinked as he came back with suits in varying shades of green that all looked like the ones Ozpin wore. "Don't worry, it's standard procedure," Ozpin said while the other boys waited for their turn, Jaune shrugged as he entered the changing room to try on the suits.
Oobleck shook his head. Ozpin really does have a lot of pride in his suits. I think he wanted to be a fashion designer at some point. Oobleck shuddered when Ozpin wasn't looking, thinking how horrifying it would be if the world was dominated by only green clothing.
