Sup my dudes and dudettes. Sorry for the extremely late upload but I recently started high school and my shift is on the afternoons and yes, it sucks and it is as dumb as it sounds. After I'm done with this chapter, I'll do some other chapters for other stories I had planned. But enough about me, let's read about our favorite killing machines.

Btw, I'm going to change one single thing about the doom cannon: Samuel, VEGA, Samur, and the father are their own beings. I do this simply because that twist wasn't necessary or made much sense, but that's that. And this also will take place before the ancient gods.

The eternal fighter 4

Turning a new leaf

Rodin's bar (AKA "the gates of hell")

Bayonetta's PoV

The time was short, Bayonetta knew it was only a matter of time until the wretched unholy beast broke free, and she knew that its first instinct would be to recover his weapons, and only few can tell what would come next. She remembered the instructions that her sisters gave to her while teaching her.

"Shall you have these weapons in your possession, cast them into the hottest pit of flames in hell, for these are the tools of our destruction."

Hell wasn't exactly the easiest place to go and dump some junk, so she would need help from the 2 strongest beings she knew: Rodin and Jeanne. She had already called Jeanne to meet at the bar. When she arrived at the door, she was greeted by one of Kirby's friends; a waddle-dee with a small bowtie below its chin. In other situations, this would have amused her, but not today. She practically smashed through the door, to yet be greeted by many waddle-dee staff and Rodin, Jeanne, and even Enzo on the bar. Bayonetta speed-walked to them.

"Ok, now can you tell us why you rushin'?" asked Rodin.

"You seem oddly nervous my dear Cereza, what happened?" asked Jeanne.

"Hey! What's happenin' here? I just came for some drinks and now the whole demon squad is in the town!" said the midget.

"This. Is the problem." Bayonetta then pulled out the two weapons. Upon identifying them, Jeanne looked at them in horror and Rodin said nothing, but kept staring at them.

J: Cereza please tell me this isn't what I think it means.

B: Correct, its worse. He is back and he is in the mansion. He is chained fortunately, but that won't last long.

J: What are you getting at?

B: I came here as fast as I could to ask for help to go to hell and throw them in the fire pits to destroy the-

"Put 'em back where they were." Said Rodin. The witches stared at him in awe.

"What?" they both asked.

"Bayo, think, the guy was stuck naked in a coffin for millennia, so hell had his equipment at their hands, do you think they missed the chance to do so for that long? And I witnessed it too. These weapons are by all means, indestructible. So, do me a favor and get 'em outta here before somethin' bad happens." Bayonetta just stood there shocked by what Rodin said, she knew he generally avoided trouble, but with what the situation they were in meant, she could only realize the truth in his words. The Slayer's hell was the predominant of all the hells in every multiverse, they had the chance to destroy them for thousands of years, so why would they not destroy it? When he was captured, for the first time in eons, angels, demons, and even daemons, had reunited with a common goal: for the beast to never arise again. The demons, seeing that the hottest of the fire pits did nothing to the weapons, asked for the help of the gods to seal the beast and hide his weapons, and after that, a blood oath was made: their ceaseless warring and strife would continue, but both sides would ensure that he never returned. Everything in her grew cold.

"Ok, but we need to hide the- *BOOM*" she was interrupted by a sudden explosion coming from the entrance, dust and debris covering the stairway. From the cloud emerged 3 figures, at the sides, a demon and what seemed to be some type of robot, and him at the center.

"Oh wadda' fuckin' DAY! I just wanted to get a DAMN DRINK and poor Enzo can't even have THAT?! I swear, one of these days y'all are gonna leave my children FATHERLESS!" Exclaimed the little man while trying to orient himself in the ground. Both trios stared at each other.

DG's PoV

The rumor was true, he didn't miss one, but two witches and a fallen angel, though he didn't know about the midget. But his thoughts were put aside once he saw his weapons. He saw Hayden and Ravok pointing their weapons while restraining the demons, so he approached the man in sunglasses to take his weapons. The man slowly picked the gun up and tossed it at the slayer, keeping the same cold expression. The slayer grabbed the weapon midair and quickly pointed it at Bayonetta's head, agitating the other witch, who was currently being held on her knees by the neck by Samuel.

"NO, DON'T KILL HER! PLEASE!" she was interrupted by an intense heat on the back of her neck.

"Do not resist or you will vaporize your entire upper body." Said her robotic captor.

Both witches started hyperventilating on their knees, they started even crying. They knew none survived the slayer's visit. They stared at each other in tears from each side of the bar, while Rodin was still motionless with the same expression.

"What are you waiting for? Kill her. There is no reason for her to still be in this world, and you know her kind, you know that they took part in the unholy crusade and the civil war. We have the weapons, so get it over with and let's go back to the fortress." Said Samuel in an impatient tone. The slayer pushed the barrel onto her head. Still crying, the woman in red whimpered:

"Please… I love her…"

"Quiet." Said her captor. Ravok actually started feeling a little guilt by watching both of them cry for each other, but that thought was interrupted when he saw motion, and saw the small man looking at the exit, and switching to them. He brought his hands to the sides of his head and said out loud:

"OH, WHAT A DAY!" The man ran as fast as his little legs could, pushed the gun aside, and put himself in between the barrels and the witch.

"Hold on just a second you… w-whoever the fuck you are, I ain't got no idea of-of w-who you are or whatever the hell you're here for, in fact, in retrospective, I ain't got no idea of what tha' fuck is goin' on, but whatever is the reason you're here doin' this; I assure you none uv' 'em deserve this! I mean, yeah, they got my car destroyed a few times but they've been protectin' this city for a while now! They ain't goin' around causin' ruckus all over the fuckin' city, those damn angels and demons on the other hand keep trashin' the place! All these women do nowadays is livin' together in their house in that enormous mansion, makin' tea and caviar parties, defendin' my city, one is even a damn teacher! Like who the FUCK would take that job?! Hell, they even killed that "Jubileus" guy! These women may be witches and sometimes too horny, but until now, these women have been saint to mostly everyone; me, the citizens, my family, a-and if you want to harm them, you'll have to go right through me!"

The Slayer looked down at the clearly frightened man. Was he telling the truth? Jubileus was one of the names in his target list being one of the maykr's associates, but much of a coward to put himself in a deep, millenary sleep to avoid his wrath. VEGA took no time to do what would be requested and accessed her file, and it indeed all checked out. The Slayer thought for a minute about it, then saw Ravok's eyes expressing guilt for what they were about to do. He just couldn't bear making his pupil kill 2 innocent people who were begging for mercy, and even less with that face. He lowered the gun and signaled his companions to release the witches, the one in black put her hands on the ground still kneeling and looked at the ground still in shock, the one in red ran to the other witch, kneeled in front of her, lifter her torso up and hugged her. She turned to the slayer and said whimpering:

"Thank you... So much…" she then kissed her in the lips for the mere fact he allowed her to live.

"Opening portal to the fortress now." A portal opened in the middle of the bar, and Hayden walked into it. The slayer stayed and stared at the demons for a little while, then lifted his free arm and red energy started flowing through it. THE CRUCIBLE came flying to his hand and he walked through the portal, but Ravok stayed for a little while and looked at them. The view and feeling of the love all those people had triggered something in him but didn't know what, then he walked into the portal.

Enzo then went straight to Rodin and confronted him for doing literally nothing.

"WHAT IN THE HELL HAPPENED THERE?!" he was met with silence. He pushed him a little and Rodin dropped to the floor. He was as stiff as a cardboard cutout.

Doom fortress-earth's orbit

Ravok's PoV

They were welcomed with the aroma of home, sweet home, but as soon as they entered, the slayer just walked to the deeper parts of the fortress, most likely to the rip-a-torium. Hayden just stayed on the main deck to analyze the samples he got from the planet. But Ravok just stood there. He tried to remember, to look for something he didn't know he lost, or even had in the first place.

"Why did you take so long, kid?" came Hayden crashing onto his train of thoughts.

"Huh?" asked the demon, clearly just returning from his mind.

"You took a while longer than expected to cross the portal. Is it a technical problem?"

"What? No, it's just…"

"It's just what?"

"Well, I guess you still remember when the master brought me here."

"Correct. You came here bathed in your own gore about 3 months ago, a couple of days after the Icon's death, and if I recall well, even though you can remember your name, age, the history of the sentinels, and the skills you have learned including combat, math, writing and engineering, you seemingly can't remember anything about YOUR past."

"That would be correct."

"So?"

"Well, I think I remembered something, but I… don't really know what."

"How did you remember something you don't even know what it is?"

"I don't know, I just… do. I know I felt the same feeling somewhere, and I just don't… forget it, I'll go and rest for a while." Frustrated, Ravok headed to the living quarters.

"Ravok." Ravok stopped and turned to Hayden. It was the first time he referred to him by his name.

"If it helps you, by estimating your skills and education and comparing them to the average sentinel, all I can tell you is that you were of a family of high nobility, most likely directly from SENTINEL PRIME, close to King Novik. I'll do more research to see if I can find your family in the ancient scrolls of the book of kings." They said nothing. Then Ravok broke the silence.

"Thank you doctor Hayden; I really appreciate that." He then left for the living quarters. Arriving at the room he immediately took off his pelt and the armor on his arms. He then took off his mouth protector and hung it all over the working table, then laid on the carpet looking at the ceiling. He sighed.

-What was that?...- his thoughts were interrupted by his wolf suddenly appearing and cuddling at his side and putting his head on his chest. Ravok smiled and patted him.

"If I didn't know any better, I would think you are a cat, hehe…" Ravok decided to put his thoughts aside to rest, it was a REALLY tiresome week and even though he had infinite stamina, he somehow felt tired, and perhaps he hadn't had any sleep since he arrived at the fortress, so might as well try. So he closed his eyes and slept. But his dreams were no better.

Ravok dreamt with only screams of horror, desperation, sorrow and pain. But in it, there were also flashing pictures and both demonic and sentinel runes. At first he saw moving images of both SENTINEL PRIME and URDAK destroyed, then saw the corpses of many DREADNAUGHTS and abandoned ALTANS covered in rust, dust and guts, but then he saw a strange… temple? City? It kind of resembled a sentinel city, but it was made of black metal and it had some hellish architecture. Then he saw what could only be described as a silhouette of an enormous horned being sitting on a throne motionless with only orange light behind him to make him stand out of the rest of the darkness. Then he saw 5 more silhouettes of horned figures of different sizes. 3 seemed to be slimmer than the other 2. The eyes of the silhouettes seemed to light up in bright red, staring into Ravok's soul.

"Ravok" they said.

Ravok woke up with a little jump but was just a little curled up. He rubbed his face trying to get back to reality, and the first thing he noticed was that the lights were out. That was an immediate red flag, so he stood up immediately. With the demonic crucible gone and the fortress back to using sentinel energy, the only way the power could be cut was if someone completely drained it. He looked around in the darkness and found a battery digital clock. Ravok looked at the date and saw he had slept for a few days, almost a week. He looked around and tried to find the work table. When he did, he tapped around trying to find his axe. When he grabbed the handle, he activated it, and its energy blades lit up a little of the room. With little light, he put on his armor, took a few weapons and ammo, and went to investigate. After forcing the door open, he summoned his wolf to illuminate the place a little more, the entire fortress was completely dark.

"Master? Hayden? VEGA?" he yelled only to be answered by his own echo. He gulped and found his way to the generator and found it… damaged? Several red flags arose from within him, and even more when his wolf started growling at the darkness.

"…Master?... Hayden?" no response. He then decided to do what any rational person would do: shot at whatever the wolf was growling. He quickly took his shotgun and fired, the explosion of the barrels lit up the room for a second; then, he only saw a shadow move. Quickly reacting, he sliced the air, creating an energy wave that hit the wall. He then looked around for a little while to see if it showed up again. His wolf lost the scent. He sighed and lowered his weapons. He cleared his head and headed back to the living quarters to retrieve some tools, feeling watched all the way back. He picked up his tools and stared at the window, getting lost in the beauty of the cosmos for a while. All of the sudden, a figure jumped from the shadows, holding a strange circular device with the same symbol as the letter he found on the table. He quickly dodged and took a look of the attacker: he was a short-bearded man dressed in some type of military uniform, wearing a green bandana on his head. The man quickly got back into the darkness. Ravok quickly pulled out a heavy rifle with the salvo mod installed, and began shooting blindly at the darkness, but keeping in mind that the rockets could illuminate the place a little for him to see the man, but he disappeared once again. Ravok had to act quickly, so he took his tools and ran to the generator. When he arrived, his wolf kept growling to seemingly nothing. Out of paranoia, started to erratically swing his axe creating energy beams that went through the walls without damaging them. He stopped when he heard a groan and a thump.

"Bring him!" he commanded his wolf, who quickly ran to the source of the sound and dragged the man all the way to Ravok's feet. Ravok saw the burning cut at the side of the man's abdomen bleeding considerably. He picked him up by the neck and lifted him up.

"Who are you and what are you doing here, human?" He asked. The man quickly tried to pull the device and punch Ravok with it, but Ravok grabbed his forearm half way and started crushing it with ease. The man screamed and dropped the device which Ravok stomped on. The voice of a woman was heard coming from what seemed to be a radio.

"Snake?! SNAAAAAKE!" the voice said. Ravok quickly grabbed and crushed the device. Ravok dropped the man on his back and put his boot on the wound. He then grabbed his super shotgun from his thigh and reloaded it.

"This weapon has 2 hammers and a single trigger. I'm going to count to three; for each number that passes, something gets pulled, and I guess you already know the sequence and what happens when we get to number 3, so I'll ask again: WHO are you? And WHY are you here?" Ravok aimed the two barrels at the man's head only a few inches away.

"One… *click*" The man began trying to squirm out of Ravok's crushing boot, of course, to no avail.

"Two… *click*" The man tried harder, even trying to punch his leg with all his strength, of course, to no avail.

"Three…" Before he pulled the trigger, he lifted his head a little. There was someone else with them. Suddenly, an energy projectile came flying from the darkness. In retaliation, Ravok lifted his arm, materializing his shield and practically shrugging off the impact of the projectile. A figure then came out of the shadows, pointing a gun at him. It was a blue-eyed blonde woman in… a skin-tight suit and heels?

Samus Aran PoV

"Release him. Now" the creature gave her an unimpressed look and kicked the man hard and far into the darkness, all while staring at her. The beast then started looking at her body with a bored look in its eyes. The creature giggled and pointed a staff with a glowing rune at its end at her.

"What are you looking at, beast?"

"Heels and a skin-tight suit with a lousy pistol? Really?" This took Samus by surprise. She did not expect him to talk, much less to understand her.

"And why do you care?"

"It just does not seem tactical, nor practical in any way." This comment was, until now, the least harsh comment about her zero-suit. She still remembers the power of the smack she gave Ghor when he shamelessly told her she looked like a whore.

"I guess you are responsible for this?" the beast said as it pointed the broken generator. She nodded.

"Do you have any idea of how hard it is to fix this?" Samus was confused and a little curious of how little the creature, who seemed to be a he, seemed to care about the situation, but she'd rather get to the point and not make snake wait any longer.

"I came here to retrieve you, now we can do this the easy way, or the hard way."

"Retrieve me? Why and where?"

"Come with us and find out." He seemed to stop for a little and think, but this didn't seem like he was making a decision, but rather trying to identify something.

"You are that soldier that we left behind in that armory, aren't you?" his tone became more serious. Samus only answered with silence. The beast then deployed 2 energy blades from the staff, resembling an axe.

"Where are my masters, woman?" she did not answer. A click was heard and the entire fortress started shaking violently. The creature looked around and saw snake, who had crawled all the way to what seemed to be the control center, and put the teleporter on it.

"Plan b… successful…" said snake before clicking his own teleporter in his belt, and materializing back to her ship.

"What did you just do woman?!" the creature said before dashing towards her so fast he seemingly teleported. His eyes glowed green as he quickly wound up an attack, but Samus reacted and quickly teleported back to her ship.

Samus' ship

She reappeared in the cockpit, quickly trying to communicate with snake.

"Snake, are you there?"

"*Groans* I'm at the med bay, *sighs* don't worry…" Good enough for her, now she had to leave before the fortress was teleported. That was a flaw the device had. They did the job, but not without generating a shockwave blast, and the bigger the object, the stronger the blast, and this was a really BIG object.

Samus detached the ship from the left tower of the fortress and was about to declare this mission to be an almost complete success. Suddenly, she felt as if something pulled the ship back. Samus tried to push on but it was useless. She turned on the camera on the back of the ship and she was shocked by what she saw: it was a chain attached to a double-barreled shotgun being held and pulled by that… thing, which was standing on the connecting bridge of the side tower and the main tower. Where the hell did he come from?

The creature dropped the gun and grabbed the chain with his hands, and started pulling. Samus deployed a turret from the underside of the ship and tried shooting the chain. The shot bounced off of it.

Samus had already made a scan of the structure herself before dropping snake in. An unknown alloy, with an also unknown technology, but this was beyond her expectations. A shotgun with a HOOK that pierced her hull, and a chain made of a metal that shrugs off her shots. This was insane, even for her.

Time was running out and he just kept pulling. She unfortunately could not shoot the beast since she was tasked to bring him alive. Man, why did retrieval missions always had to suck this hard? She tried redirecting all energy to the thrusters. A decision she would soon regret. The ship's thrusters lit up with more power than ever and started dragging the beast until he was standing sideways on the railing of the bridge, but was still holding on the chain. The creature then materialized a rocket launcher and aimed at the ship. It was the same rocket launcher he used. The tip spun once, then it aimed again a little to the left, and the tip spun once again and fired 2 bursts of rockets, hitting the thrusters and massively damaging them along with the hull. The beast readied another burst, but fortunately, he had run out of rockets. Frustrated, it tossed the gun aside and went back to pulling the chain. It then said something in an unknown language and a green light appeared out of nowhere and took the shape of an armored wolf, which balanced itself on top of the chain. The creature deployed a canon from the backside of his left shoulder and shot a red sphere, which the wolf managed to catch mid-air. The creature then growled another command and the wolf started running towards the ship while holding the object.

Halfway, Samus' ship gave a message. That read:

*WARNING: TELEPORTING PROCESS COMPLETED*

"OH SHIIII-" and with that, a powerful shockwave was released from the fortress, destroying the ship and sending the creature flying away only to get sucked back in along with her to their destination.

?-earth's orbit

Samus awoke floating in the middle of a field of debris. Fortunately for her, she and snake were already equipped with the space kit, so air and heat wouldn't be a problem. She looked around and saw the fortress, and the earth she now calls a home. She then saw a light come from behind her and saw omilar's ship coming to the rescue. Samus saw as the ship stopped and opened one of its hatches and rob and mega-man coming out of them. They flew through the debris with ease and pulled both snake and her back to the ship. Rob stayed to treat them both in case they were injured by the blast, but mega went back to retrieve "it". And so, he went back to the debris to find it.

Mega-man's PoV

A few minutes had already passed. He started to worry about the target. What if he had already run out of air? Or froze to death? Or both? He kept scanning and scanning through the debris until a rather large chunk blocked his path. He chose to simply move it aside, but to his surprise, right behind the chunk, was a creature. A horned creature measuring about 2.3 meters (I wanted to make him shorter since Ravok is still a young warrior), horns included, 2 meters if not. It dressed a green armor with strange runes on it with a few traces of tech and other attached devices, and its mouth was covered in a facemask. It clearly was unconscious. Mega grabbed him by the arm and pulled him back to the ship. That was all he had to do. Easy-peasy.

Ravok's PoV (yes, I'm doing poor mega-man dirty)

Ravok awoke from whatever happened to the fortress. His eyes were blurry and mostly everything seemed black. He tried to re-focus his vision, and it seemed like he was moving. He finally could see clearly and saw that he was being pulled by a little blue man toward an odd-looking ship. Ravok reacted quickly and pulled the man towards him. He put his left arm around the small one's and locked him in that position. The man's free hand then turned into a cannon and tried to aim it at him, but Ravok was faster. He "unsheathed" his doom blade and swiftly sliced the cannon off. Out of the wound, wires were revealed and some sort of oil spilled out. This was a machine? Good. He wouldn't feel the slightest bit of guilt for what he was going to do next. Ravok began stabbing the man repeatedly in the chest with his blade. It was strange doing this without sound or the color red flying everywhere. He was about to finish him off, but just when a whip made of lighting grabbed him, making him release the machine. He traced the whip back to the odd ship, and saw that it was being held by the woman. He saw her move her lips like she said something, but he couldn't know. She began holding the whip with two hand while a simplistic-looking robot held her in place. The ship's thrusters came to life and started making the ship spin in its place, making him spin too. The speed kept increasing while Ravok kept trying to break free, until he finally did, but he then turned to the ship and saw the woman waving her hand goodbye with a smug grin on her face, then Ravok realized what happened; the woman had released him on purpose with enough speed to sling him to "earth's" orbit. Ravok then felt the gravitational pull. He tried to dash forward, but it was already too late. He kept falling, and falling, until he started to feel heat. Extreme heat. Rapidly increasing heat. He then saw the air around him get orange as he kept falling. After a few minutes, he finally could see the dangerously close sea.

"OH DAAAAAMN" he then hit the water and everything turned black.

Doom-guy's PoV

Sentinel prime

The slayer could do nothing but watch. Watch the carcass of the civilization that gave him a home, a name, a purpose. Watch the rotting buildings that hosted so many brave and honorable warriors. Watch the rust of the arena in which he became the Doom slayer. Watch as the greatest empire that ever existed in all known was quiet. No more merchants trying to sell you charms, no more children laughing, no more celebration noises. Nothing. Just the silence of a once great civilization.

"There is no point in weeping. I thought you would know that." Said Hayden while looking for anything that was worth taking back to the fortress. Hayden was truly testing him. After the incident in mars and the invasion of earth, one would think he would have at LEAST considered his mistakes. But no. Not once, in all the time he'd known him did he even show a sign of remorse, of grief, or empathy toward the pain and chaos he created, and now he was defiling a warrior's corpse so he could get some scrap. The slayer decided it was time to go back to the fortress to get as far away from Hayden as possible, and spend some time with Ravok, if he had woken up yet.

?'s orbit, Doom Fortress

He then opened a portal back home and both crossed it, only to find the interior in shambles. The first thing he noticed was that the generator had been sabotaged. The Slayer disregarded everything and went to the living quarters to see if Ravok was ok. The door had seemingly been forced open. The room was a mess, and there were traces of gunfire in the walls, but Ravok was nowhere to be found. He then rushed back to Hayden who was trying to repair the generator.

"Is the boy still here?" he asked. The slayer shook his head. Hayden then sighed as he kept trying to fix the generator.

"There!" he said, right before the fortress came back to life. the systems rebooted and Vega spoke.

"Hello Dr. Hayden"

"VEGA, what happened here?"

"I'm sorry to inform you Dr. Hayden that we were boarded. The reactor was sabotaged before I could send a transmission, and young Ravok's current location is currently unknown. Luckily, the portal works on its own battery."

"All right. Anything else?"

"Yes; we currently are not on our earth, nor our dimension." Hayden stopped checking the systems.

"What? How is that possible? The fortress does not have the technology to transport itself to other universes, and even if it did, the power was cut out."

"My theory is that it was the third party. Ravok, even in his circumstances, had no reason, nor way to why he would have done this, and since I can not detect the signal of his armor, that leaves us with two possibilities: His armor was destroyed quite possibly alongside Ravok" this did NOT help them at all, especially the slayer. Samuel turned around and saw a strange sight that could be confused by the 7th seal breaking: the slayer was tense, and anxious.

"Or he was abducted. I suggest that we try to look on this planet."

"And why is that?"

"Scans indicate that this planet is the same in which we rescued the slayer a week prior." This was intriguing for Hayden. How did they find them? Why do they want him so much? He could not wait to rip those answers from his newly deemed "inconveniences".

"Opening the portal now."

The slayer sprinted towards the portal, disappearing into it. Hayden was not impressed.

"All because of a damn letter." he said as he walked into the portal.

?-earth(?)

The slayer and Hayden Crossed the portal, only to find themselves in a dark place. Everywhere they looked was just black.

V: My scanners do not recognise this place, but there seems to be another life signal in this area

In the distance, they saw a small, green light. The duo ran as fast as they could to reach it in hopes it may be the young one. As they got closer, a noise could be heard in the distance; it sounded like...whimpers? As they got closer, the light began taking shape; it was Ravok's wolf, cuddling him. The hound detected movement and assumed a position ready to attack. This reaction was short lived when he saw the 2 familiar… "shapes". The slayer crouched to check on Ravok. Surprisingly, he was not so injured as expected, just a few bruises and a slightly chipped upper-left horn. The slayer tried to wake him up, to no avail.

"CLEAR!" The slayer turned around to see that Hayden had deployed 2 tentacles that were clearly generating a lot of electricity. The slayer quickly backed off to let the doctor work. 2 lightning bolts came out of the contraptions, hitting Ravok in his bare chest. Ravok jolted violently, waking up violently.

"HUAH! WHEN?! WHAT?! WHO-" The slayer held Ravok from his shoulders until he calmed down.

"...Master...*pant*...how did you get here?... and… where is here?" The trio started to look around to at least try to comprehend where they were, and only saw infinite darkness all around, until they felt heat on their backs. They turned around and saw a stunning view: that same symbol beared by the invaders, made purely out of flames. the three could do nothing but stare, until a booming voice came from it.

"CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU MY DEAR FRIEND, FOR YOU HAVE BEEN DEEMED WORTHY OF ENTERING THE-*BOOM*" The slayer had fired his shotgun at the symbol, dispersing the fire and revealing a levitating gloved hand.

?: well thanks for stealing my thunder

DrH: Would you mind telling us who you are?

MH: Well, thank you for asking, my name is Master Hand, and i summoned you to inform you that you have been invited to a unique "event" to call it such, so, if I may, would like to finally tell you that YOU, HAVE ENTERED THE SUPER SMASH BROS TOURNAMENT!

The trio was teleported to yet another location, this place seemed like a giant office with several barracks full of the same people they found in that mansion, but they were clapping to them. They were currently standing in a long red carpet that led to the desk of the same floating hand that had received them.

DrH: VEGA, Open the portal

V: I can't Dr. Hayden

DrH: What?

V: there is something blocking my signal to the portal system of the fortress. We can not leave.

This annoyed the 3, but they weren't getting attacked so they might as well go along with it. best case scenario, this was an ambush. They walked along the carpet until they reached the desk. The desk had nothing on top of it except for a contract and an elegant pen. The contract said nothing but the phrase "I accept my invitation to this event" and 3 spaces to sign. Hayden was the first to sign, with only the thought of the research and the possible technology entering here might provide him in his mind. Then the slayer, who could only think that if he signed, they would finally leave them alone, and also he remembered this was a duel, and the day he was abducted was genuinely a really fun one in comparison to his other days. Last was Ravok, who still had some doubts, but he trusted his masters, so to hell with it, and he signed the contract. As soon as he finished, the contract rolled itself and disappeared into nothingness.

MH: Excellent! You will now be escorted to your room! Enjoy your stay.

R: wait wha-

I: Hello again Mr. Slayer!

Ravok was interrupted by a small voice, and saw at the side of his master a small yellow creature in a green attire.

I: I will escort you to your room now, follow me please!

The trio did as they were asked and followed the creature through endless halls and rooms of the mansion until they arrived at a door with the same structural theme as the fortress with the number 81 on it. they entered the room and saw that it wasn't just a room, but almost an entire house. Not much could be said about it though. it really did not have that much aesthetic to it, but it looked cozy enough with a great sight to the forest outside.

I: Don't worry about the room, you will be able to request our staff to redecor it in any way you want, and your first combat is already scheduled, now rest, tomorrow I will give you a tour around the mansion. Enjoy your stay!

With that the creature left the room, leaving them to their own thoughts. The 3 were still confused on just what the hell just happened now, which just tired them, so they just decided to go and rest.

Samus's PoV

Samus's day could only be described as a shitshow. first, one of her closest friends almost got killed, her ship was destroyed, she almost died, and then another one of her friends almost died. She was too tired to deal with anything, so she just invited Ridley and Sam to drink a coffee. It was a good thing that Ridley had a device to transform into a human since no one would like to see a giant space pterodactyl walking around and Sam was still learning to take other forms other than just her varia suit. All of her body resembled that of a young woman but her head was still a glowing skull with 3 eyes and still had clawed fingers, but it looked smoother and cute to a certain point. Not cute enough not to hide it, but it could be solved with a hoodie and some gloves.

Rd: So, what do you think?

S: I think we are in deep shit for lack of better words. That guy trashed the entire mansion, and so did those other 2, and worse of all, Master Hand wants them for some reason, and now they live with us, so that might as well have happened.

Sm: So what's the plan?

S: We will just keep an eye on them for now, and maybe we can use them for some missions of our own to truly test their combat prowess without risking ourselves.

Rd: So your plan to be safe from them is to get closer to them?

S: To an extent, yeah.

Ridley rolled his eyes and took a sip of his coffee. Samus was not as terrified as most would, in fact, after thinking about it for a while, this was really exciting for her. She had finally found something she had not seen before; something that she had not seen before. Sure, she had already fought beings with godlike power, and they surely gave her a challenge, but the difference in this case is that this was not something that seemed to be godlike, this was a man, a man that even with her suit, gave her the toughest fight she ever had by only using "basic" guns and his fists.

This was truly going to be interesting.
