Ff don't allow links, but this snippet is also a gift to my amazing friend Simple-Persica on Tumblr (go check her out!), and is inspired by the wonderful art she drew me a while ago of Sweden holding a smol baby Ladonia. So thank you, Persica! Not only for the amazing art you continue to draw and share with us all, but also for putting up with all that shitpost humor I send you. x'D With that said, this snippet is for you.

Finland carefully watched how Germany warily regarded the sleeping baby in Sweden's arms, though the rest of the nations at the world meeting weren't exactly innocent of staring either.

"I didn't know you had another child," Germany carefully directed towards Sweden, likely afraid his cousin had bought another child from the internet.

Not that Finland blamed Germany. Finland was completely sure the only reason England hadn't murdered Sweden on the spot after the latter bought and adopted Sealand was because Finland had held England back long enough for Germany's diplomatic skills to work their magic, and SOMEHOW manage to convince the two of them to agree on shared custody of Sealand. However, Sweden had yet to acknowledge Germany or any of the stares from everyone else ever since he entered the room with the gently held baby in his arms and sat down in his designated seat.

"It's a… It's a rather recent development," Finland filled in for Sweden, who was still too focused on staring lovingly at the baby in his arms to even have heard Germany's words.
"Sví found him the day before yesterday after feeling a tug of some sort, telling him where to go. His name is Ladonia. He's a new micronation in Sweden."

"I… I see," Germany answered, for once sounding unsure on how to proceed.

Really, Finland supposed he couldn't blame Germany or the rest of the nations for that either. It was rare for new nations or micro-nations to pop up so young, and even rarer for the non-Nordic nations to see the normally stoic-looking Swede publicly show so much affection to someone. If you asked Finland the whole situation was absolutely adorable, but he could understand why the other nations weren't used to it.

Admittedly Finland had also been taken by surprise when Sweden showed up outside Finland's hotel room the day before the meeting with a seemingly newborn baby in his arms, there to tell Finland the news and to introduce Ladonia to him. However, after overcoming the initial shock Finland couldn't help but immediately love the little boy as well. The surprise of a life-time or not, the small red-haired baby in Sweden's arms was adorable - and it wasn't like you could plan for when a new micronation would pop up anyway.

"Well - what are you waiting for, my dude?" America cheerily broke the silence from somewhere in the front rows. "Get to the podium and show him off!"

Sweden, who finally seemed to have heard anyone else than Ladonia, visible shone up at the suggestion and immediately rose from his seat and made his way down to the podium where Germany still stood awkwardly.

"Ladonien," Sweden said simply with a proud smile on his face once he reached the podium and held up Ladonia high in the air, or at least as high up as he dared to while still being able to support Ladonia's neck and head.

It was an admittedly impressive sight, partly because of Sweden's own height, and when Sweden carefully lowered Ladonia again to be more safely tucked into his arms the camera which normally was focused on the nations' presentations instead zoomed in on the still sleeping Ladonia in Sweden's arms, thus making the big video screen behind Sweden and Germany show the little boy for everyone to see.

"He's adorable!" Italy cheered and bounced out of his seat to come up next to Sweden and get a closer look, seemingly having forgotten he usually would have flinched away with fear around Sweden's intimidating aura.
"Just look at him! Oh, he's like a small red-haired copy of you too, Svezia! Germany, come look! Have you seen how adorable Ladonia is?"

Finland had to stifle a giggle as he watched Italy cling to the arm Sweden didn't use to support Ladonia's weight in a similar manner the joyful nation usually clung to Germany. Another giggle then immediately threatened to slip past when Finland saw how Sweden visibly radiated happiness and pride at Italy's words. The obvious happiness worked in Sweden's favour though, as it encouraged more of the nations to leave their seats in order to come closer and get a better look at Ladonia.

"Félicitations, mon cher!" France congratulated brightly as he came up to the podium and happily clasped one of Sweden's shoulders. "He looks wonderful."

"He really does look a lot like you," Taiwan cooed at Ladonia, and Sweden bent down a bit so Taiwan and the other shorter nations also could get a better look.

"He's so cute!" Spain exclaimed happily.

"Mm."

Some of the nations showed more restraint than others in going full baby-mode, but even from Finland's seat it was obvious how all nations were interested in taking a closer look at Ladonia. It was hard to resist the cuteness of a sleeping baby, Finland supposed.

"Will you claim him as your younger brother or son?" Vietnam asked Sweden in curiosity as she came closer.

"Son," Sweden answered without hesitation. "He's Sealand's younger brother."

"Makes sense," Austria nodded in approval. "Even if you change your mind later we don't know how quickly or how much Ladonia will grow yet. At least for now it will thus be easier to explain the age difference between the two of you by claiming him as your son, in case any humans become too nosy."

"That, and I don't think Sealand would want an uncle younger than himself," Switzerland pointed out with a roll of his eyes, though his face visibly softened when his eyes landed on Ladonia.
"He looks like a healthy little child, Sve. Congratulations."

In the meantime while the rest of the nations continued to crowd Sweden and Ladonia by the podium Finland was distracted by movements from the corner of his eye.

"Who knew the only thing we needed for the rest of the nations to stop acting so afraid around Sví was a baby he could carry around during meetings," Norway half-joked with a snort of amusement and sat down next to Finland.

"If I had known I would just have done a presentation about how he acts around children years ago, with video evidence," Finland joked back with a laugh and returned his gaze to Sweden before he continued more softly.

"I'm happy for him though. I don't think Sví ever really realized how his glares affected other nations around him, but I know he has always wanted a lot of children. He was heartbroken when it became clear we wouldn't be able to adopt America all those years ago. However, seeing Sví with Sealand and now with Ladonia too... I don't think I've ever seen him so happy before."

"Mm," Norway agreed, and Finland could feel Norway's gaze leave him to watch Sweden as well. "It's nice to see. He was made to be a dad."

As nations they couldn't allow themselves a lot of luxuries, so watching Sweden be this happy as he showed off his second child for everyone who wanted to see... It warmed Finland's heart.

He would never get tired of seeing Sweden like this. Made to be a dad, indeed.

(A/N: As part internet-nation I hc Ladonia was the smallest and youngest-looking micronation to "pop up", though he would likely grow fairly quickly as his micronation gained more popularity and became more known. Perhaps even at "human rate" or quicker for a few years before his body "settled" to look around the age of 10-12 years old.)
