Back at the New Jersey base, two massive flatbed trailers laid in front of the seven Autobots as NEST prepared to depart from New Jersey.
"I don't know. Waiting until the humans give us permission to engage is a pretty big risk, Ironhide. Are you sure you want us to do this?" Asked Sideswipe.
"It's the best idea we have. And again, the more secure Megatron feels, the better." Said Ironhide.
"I still think we should just get rid of that foolish director. The amount of Decepticons out there is more than three times what we faced back in Mission City, and he hasn't allowed us to take out one. If he keeps this up any longer, I really will take matters into my own hands." Said Ratchet.
"Tell you what. If more violence we could have prevented occurs, you will have my permission to get rid of him." Said Ironhide.
"Autobots, step onto the flatbeds, please." A guy announced through the P.A. system.
Jolt stepped onto the end of the flatbed furthest away from them and transformed into vehicle mode. All three Arcee sisters rolled on and transformed as well. Sideswipe jumped on and followed suit. Ratchet and Ironhide stepped onto the second flatbed and transformed. Long black nets were placed over the Autobots, with thick, white ropes and chains added to further keep them in place. Once they were as tight as could be, the flatbeds were attached to several military vehicles and rolled forward, with armed troops surrounding them for further security purposes.
"NEST departure, 2100 hours." The guy announced through the P.A. system.
(This next scene picks up later on, right as the jumbo jets are about to take off.)
As the Autobots were loaded in one plane while Optimus's body and the troops were put in another, Lennox went to them.
"Hey, guys! I just got word of a possible solution!"
Ratchet transformed into robot mode.
"What exactly would this possible solution be?"
"Sam's over in Egypt, and we have to reason to believe that he can bring Optimus back."
"As much as I like the sound of that, you know we won't be able to go there or anywhere until that fool commanding us is gone, right?"
"Yeah, I know. We'll need a plan. Something that- something to get rid of him that won't make him think it's a plan to get rid of him."
"Man, I got an idea." Said Epps as he approached.
(This next part picks up as the two jets arrive in Egypt.)
"Alright, we're at the coordinates. Get ready to drop!" Said a troop within the second plane.
Ratchet deployed his buzz saw and cut through the nets around him. Once he was able to stand up, as the plane's interior was big enough for him to do so, he sliced up the nets around Jolt and the Arcees. The Arcees charged their guns as they, along with Jolt and Ratchet, approached the back of the plane as Ironhide and Sideswipe freed themselves from their nets.
"You best let me out of this plane." Said Ironhide as he deployed his cannons.
The seven Autobots jumped out of the plane, free-falling several hundred feet before they landed hard on their feet on the sand below.
"Lead the way, Ironhide." Said the purple Arcee.
The Autobots transformed into vehicle mode and drove into the abandoned Egyptian city, Ironhide leading the way with Ratchet and the others right behind him.
