Chapter 4: The Conversation

Hei POV:

Well, I met the Avatar Aang and the famous Toph Beifong. Toph is very gorgeous face to face. She has black hair in the bun, she has eyes that are blind, and she has a typical earth kingdom attire. Aang wore monk clothing from the South Air Temple. Now those guys are a cheerful bunch, Ironically, they can communicate with the Dead, and move to the Spirit World. Anyway, back to the situation, I have to knock Aang out, or else he could mess up Ba Sing Se. It really should not be that easy for me to knock him out, he stills needs to master the Avatar State. If he would have let go of his attachment, no mortal can stand up to him or even kill him.

"So Toph, are you ok?" I ask her, but I know the answer is no because her mind and soul seem to be in anguish. What the actual hell, so this is how you treat your friend ,Aang, just because you cannot get a kiss from a girl you liked. I guess you must have inherited some of Ozai's personality when you energy bend with his spirit because you don't want to end a life even though he will go to Gehenna regardless.

"Yeah, I am fine Hei, knows I guess everyone is just tired after the war. Thanks, Hei for stopping him. I know I said some mess-up stuff about his people, and I called him a coward. I do not know it's just I feel like my friends only see me for my earth-bending talent, I guess I have gotten more vulnerable during the war. Honestly, I was planning to find myself once this whole business about the war is over. I do not want to be a teacher, and I definitely do not want to be a freaking cop. You think I have some crazy destiny?" Toph said in a sad, vulnerable tone.

"Yeah, you do have a destiny, but you need to leave your friends for a bit. Anyway, let your friends know that I will take your pal Aang to the Spirit World. Again, you will know the information once I am done talking to Aang." I said in an emotionally neutral tone.

"Yeah, sure, whatever. Just bring Aang back. I will let my pals know. Well, see you." Toph said stoically. I saw Toph moving back to whatever she came from. Man, I cannot wait to know her. Huh, I am so surprised that she was very open to me. I hope she does not take Aang's harmful words. I can tell she is a gentle soul under the brash mask she often puts on when around other people.

I move my hands in an air-bending motion to open a green portal that leads to the Spirit World. Ahh, my kingdom is so beautiful. So, I carry Aang on my shoulders. I going to take him into the forest of the Spirit World. There we do not have to deal with spirits trying to intervene in my conversation with Aang. I put Aang down in the grass, he should get up any minute now.

"Huh, wait I'm in the Spirit World now?" Aang said groggily.

"That correct, my spiritual brother. Anyway, hopefully, you slept well because I have some important news that you need to know". I said in an excited tone. What can you blame me for being excited about meeting the Avatar? I can have a family; I never knew what it is like to have siblings and parents.

"I'm not sure about this spiritual sibling business, hopefully, you can explain about this and why you bring here," Aang said anxiously.

Man, I know that Aang just fought the Fire lord just a week ago. Now he needs to know about the evil spirits escaping to the mortal realm and the fact that he might inherit Ozai's anger.

"I'll answer all of your questions once you hear my explanations, and besides we get more privacy in the Spirit World. Hey, remember the whole energy bending incident between you and Ozai. Luckily, you an Avatar from the Air Nomads, instead of from the Fire nation, or else you could have inherited his insanity and his crazy ambitions about taking over the world."I said in an informal tone.

"You say I have Ozai influence inside me. That explains why I can go into the Avatar State when I was angry at Toph. I thought I can go into the Avatar State when a situation is stressful, and when I needed to defend myself. "Aang stated matter-of-factly.

"You are correct about the Avatar state, but you need to actually master its full power yet. When you are fighting Ozai, it was only a small potion of your true potential. The Avatar is responsible for creating the matter and energy of this world. Both the Spirit Ruler and the Avatar have created existence. We are merely two halves of the same deity, Elohim. Elohim split itself into two halves to manage both the Spirit World and Earth. That's pretty much the elaborated explanation of why we are spiritual siblings." I was telling Aang about the history of both our spirits.

"So, wait you telling me I could have been a lot stronger when I fought Ozai or the time at Ba Sing Se," Aang said in a surprised tone.

"Yes, you could have been, but you let your attachment to Katara hold you back from your true potential," I said in an annoyed tone.

"What's wrong with love. I bet you never been in my situation?" Aang said in an irritated tone.

"Well, Aang, my parents have died when I was an infant. Nobody was willing to adopt me, then found the Spirit World, and I was raised by spirits. So yeah, forgive me for not having good connections with my fellow humans." I said in a sorrowful sarcastic tone.

"I'm sorry Hei, I didn't know," Aang said sympathetically.

"We just have to keep moving forward, I manage to make friends with the dead, got some pets, and made friends with the spirits. Aang you are so lucky that you can be selfish, I have to listen to the thoughts of my future inheritors, or else this timeline will be in destruction." I said cheerfully to hide the burden of keeping the timeline intact.

"Wait you can see the future," Aang said excitedly.

"Yes, I can see the memories of my future inheritors like how you can see memories of past reincarnations. Anyway, I going to take Toph with me on my journey along with the Fire Nation Princess, along with a mentally unstable water-bending prodigy, and a genius inventor with bad social skills who is a bit of a nihilist. I'm making my own group of individuals." I told Aang about my intention. This is why I need to see his reactions.

"Wait you're taking Toph somewhere along with Azula. Where are you guys going?" Aang said questionably.

"We are going to restore the spirituality of this world. This world is causing the Spirit World to collapse because of the Fire Nation actions. Your pal Zuko cannot redeem an entire nation. Aang, the Spirits are dying, and their evil halves are released into this world. The Fire Nation royal family were just puppets for Agni's evil half named Iblis. A couple of days ago while you were busy celebrating with your friends, the evil half of Gaia, the Earth Spirit, named Pan escapes to the Spirit World because Long Feng sold his soul in exchange for power. Only Toph can contain Pan and she need to become the new Earth Spirit for the entire world to not collapse, and Azula need to become the new Fire Spirit or else there will be no light and the Fire Nation will collapse. Remember that water bender that I mentioned earlier, well he is going to become the new Ocean Spirit because La is dying. And your pal Yue cannot control the oceans by herself." I said urgently.

"Wait La is dying, and Azula and Toph need to replace the Fire and Earth Spirits like how Yue became the new Moon Spirit? I guess that's good that you can offer Toph a responsibility, and that you can redeem Azula." Aang said.

"Well, it's all up to Toph and Azula, but they will accept these responsibilities because my future inheritor said so. Anyways I tell you these things because I do not want you to stop me." I said cautious tone.

" No no I'm not going to stop you, but I do have some questions about who you are Hei, and why I should trust you," Aang said suspiciously.

"You will know more about me once you reconnected with your culture, which was the Air Nomads. Now let us get out of the Spirit World and meet up with Toph. I think she is waiting for us. We need to tell here what we just discussed today." I said to Aang while I was opening a portal back to the mortal realm when I rotate my arms in an air bending stance; Aang and I leave the Spirit World.

Long Feng POV

The idiotic Earth King Kuei was busy looking at The newspaper, while that stupid bear kept on growling on me. I never like that bear; I always cleaned up after him. Now to take my ultimate revenge on that stupid animal, I decided to lava bend by taking the classic earth bending stance with my feet pointing the north and my two arms sticking opposite of each other. I decided the melt that bear's face off.

"What the hell, Basco dead, Long Feng where did you come from?" Kuei questions

"Oh I escape the Boiling Rock, but now I'm going to take back my kingdom. You have been a good puppet, but now you must die." I said once I decided to take that same stance and shoot glass on that stupid man. It feels so good to reclaim my destiny of being a ruler. Haha look at my power, I melt the bear to the crisp and that king has glass all over his face and he is twitching.

The Dai Lee Agents shouted "All Hail King Long Feng, All Hail King Long Feng" as I sit upon my throne.
