Chapter 4: Dented iron and mini Stark

"Uhm. How did you get away with attacking the Overhaul's gang?" asked Eri from Izuku, Kota's interest was also peeked toward this curious situation.
"After my first run-in with a Villain in an armor I trained even harder than before, this newer training regime of mine earned me a first place at a Martial Arts Tournament and a Kendo Tournament too. Also, I tried the Akatani Industries' Hero Program for earning a Provisional Hero License Black. Unlike the White variant, which is earned by passing the Provisional Hero License Exam, this can be earned if you pass their Akatani Hero License Exam. However, this is very hard to be done, I almost failed as ten years old and without a Quirk, when I did it. On my side I could only use some support items, my skills, my smarts and knowledge about Heroes, Vigilantes and Villains. In the contrast of the national exam, this has multiple rounds: a written test, an analysis test, a rescue test, a combat test, a stealth test, a cooperation test, an interview test, an awareness test and a threshold test." explained to them the teen.
"Is that means you're a Hero?" asked Kota from the greenette.
"Not truly, I am currently an Auxiliary Hero. This rank is between the Hero-in-training and the official Sidekick. However, I can patrol and do heroic activities with a permission from my Hero Trainer, this person is the one supervising me until I becomes a Hero Course Student in one of the top three schools in the country, where I live in." told him Izuku as Eri listened to him.
"What's the threshold test?" asked Eri curiously from the older boy.
"This test is about a Hero's willingness to kill in the necessity of last resort. I feel I cheated that part. Once I was forced to kill a Villain when I was much younger in a hostage situation. That made me to take the test ease." replied the older brother to his sister.
"You were in a bad scenario. You didn't cheat. You saved lives with that, like a true Hero." exclaimed the younger boy.
"How did you started to be an armored Hero?" asked suddenly the kids from Izuku, his mother still watched their chat.
"That's a long story." started the questioned teen.

When Izuku heard he is diagnosed Quirkless, he was broken like a Chinese vase in his heart. A stupid diagnosis makes your future, how damn unfair. Not only Bakugo beat him up for protecting someone from bullying two days later, but he had no idea to continue. Well, until he thought a little.
"What can I do?" asked himself the four years old Midoriya, thinking about a solution. Surprisingly to her mother, he born very smart, way much smarter than the average even without a Quirk to boost his intellect.
"All Might has a Quirk and Sir Nighteye has his. They're both Heroes, but different. Then there is Eraser Head, who makes his opponent Quirkless temporally with his own. He fights Quirkless, but even I can do that. Nighteye is smart and analytic, but I can do that too. Without a Quirk I am even less to them." thought the boy until something clicked. "Aren't Quirks being physical abilities? They only enhance a part or parts of body unless they add some new function like Endeavor's Hellflame. Unlike these Heroes I am a normal person. There are things I can do better. All Might is like a god with his strength, I can admire him, but he is still a human. Nighteye is smart, but I am smarter than him. And I can be a better fighter than the Flame Hero without a Quirk because I need to learn less than him to fight, although he must train his Quirk on the other hand. Also he relies on his costume. Costume!" realized the preteen something. "Who makes the costume? To All Might is David Shield made them. All the four style. He is smart, like me or smarter. Or am I the smarter one? But I want to be a Hero too. However, even if I somehow become a Quirkless Hero I need an inspiration."
"Argh!" now the boy was a little angry and sadder. "There aren't much big names like Kurogado anymore in our Society. However, every Hero has an inspiration. All Might for example has Superman and Captain America. Or even the legendary Golden Bat, the hero who predates both Batman and Superman by years. Batman is too smart for his own, it's unreal. Adam Strange has alien tech, Hawkeye is sometimes having enhanced sight. And most of the superpower or magicless heroes owns a lot of money like Ritchie Rich. I think I should visit Lee-san. He knows a lot about being a hero or he can help me to work out something." declared the child with his determination still hid by his sadness.

After Izuku told how he met with Lee-san, later his uncle and renewed his own spirit to be a Hero. Kota and Eri was still curious about the armors' origins.
"This is right, but what about your toys?" asked the younger boy from the older.
"Oh, those. That's another long story. Are you sure you want to hear it?" replied the teen to his new friend.
"Yes, I am." answered Kota bravely.
"Me too." added Eri, their cute curiosity nearly made Inko to faint.
"Well then." started Izuku.

The greenette was three when his intellect needed something more challenging to him, he learned languages, but that wasn't a success to him, although Inko's pride was great about his son's ability to learn and later speak multiple languages nigh-perfectly after a short self-teaching. Katsuki on the other hand was jealous at Izuku, because the latter was much smarter than him.
When the young Midoriya figured out after learning his tenth foreign language that he needs something harder than those, he tried something one of his idolized heroes did. Well, cooking became another quick success after his mother's inspiration. After that he thought a bit about support items to assist Heroes. And for that he needed to learn a lot! He did.
It was the first Sunday of September when his mom walked into his room as he seemingly gardened some weed.
"What are you doing Izuku?" she asked her little genius, she was a little worried that her son becomes someone like Tony Stark, the Iron Man.
"I am about to finish my Scouter Weed mom." replied the boy happily.
"Pardon?" asked back Izuku's mother.
"It can grow Scouters, little head worn devices to analyze Quirks, analyze info, communicate, assist the wearers in action or warn about Quirk over-use. They're based on a manga's rarely used lore technology." explained the broccoli haired mini genius.
"Oh, and the weed can grow them." exclaimed Inko.
"Yes, they can be grown indefinitely, but every distributed string of hair has a limit of a thousand Scouter. Plus they're customizable and only the distributer can use theirs." continued the boy.
"Oh my." she was thrown off by the capabilities of the matter her son made.
"Now I have a little problem." said suddenly the kid.
"And what's that?" asked cautiously the mother.
"I need to find a way to download some of the data from the Scouters to be shared with other Heroes." revealed Izuku without noticing his mum nearly fainting from the shock.

The Marvelous Stories was a comic and manga shop, here some could even read at the quest table if they had no interest to buy or just wanted to rest a bit.
The owner, Stan was assisted by several robots there, after he met with Izuku, the latter added that much self-made ones to raise their numbers by ten times. And those were made of by recycling scrap or junk. The boy was smart noted the man.
After the greenette made his Scouter, his mother took him there to show it to the man too, as the Midoriya's entered the shop, the owner knew something is up. However, he only learned that when he spotted a Scouter from the Dragon Ball series on the little prodigy.
"Good morning!" greeted them happily and curiously.
"Good morning!" greeted back the greenette pair and Izuku added. "It's over nine thousand in awesomeness! I don't see any limit of yours Lee-san!" this earned a laugh from the adults.
"And your gadget still functioning? I'm sure the Frieza Force wants to meet you." joked the man.
"They're too busy to visit him." said Inko as she ruffled her son's hair.
"So, you can analyze awesomeness too. Right?" asked Lee from the boy.
"I didn't know that before I tried." revealed the kid shyly.
"A versatile item, I bet the Pros would go after like children for free candy." declared the elder.
"I don't think they're that good." replied the child.

A little later he made a force field belt, this one made a field around the wearer to mimic the effects of stronger gravity, this started with a smaller strength and gradually increased dependently on the user's adaption and own strength to make it more useful. This field only affects the wearer because it's skintight.
Along with this also Izuku started to train himself physically to be better in combat and shape: parkour, hand-to-hand combat, weight-lifting and several other kinds of training areas.

A little before the public patrol test of the first suit made by Izuku, his uncle visited Endeavor at his office.
"Good morning Flame Hero." greeted Jack the Hero.
"Good morning Jack Midoriya. What can I help you?" asked Todoroki from the Akatani Industries' representative.
"There is a project involving a new kind of Hero Costume type, these are called Hero Armors, however, their basis is the Agile Aegis Armor made by a young prodigy." replied the shorter man.
"I've heard about them. Those are supposed to support the police with heavier firepower and protection when it comes for an incident involving Villains or security. Although I don't know what you would like to ask?" told him the Hero.
"The first suit is being prepared to have a public patrol test and I'm looking for your assistance. These Hero Armors could help you to be better too." continued Jack.
"Assist me to be better?" questioned Enji.
"If I am right, you want to surpass All Might. With a Hero Armor, you could use your Quirk much safer and for longer than without it." answered the Midoriya.
"That's sounds reasonable, but why choose me? I am the Number Two Hero and I am not an advertisement type Pro." countered Endeavor.
"That's it."
"That's it?" asked back the Flame Hero.
"You're the Number Two Hero. The Akatani Industries is one of the greatest Hero Support Companies and they recently bought the Akahashi Hero Support, where I did work before the assimilation. Probably you don't realize it but being this high on the Hero Charts make you a perfect choice. Unlike the Symbol of Peace and Justice you're more dependent on your hero costumes to fight because of your Quirk. All Might isn't the type who possibly would join into this and you're just recently became Number Two in the Hero Billboard Chart JP, and in the Hero Billboard Chart Global you're the in the top twenty-five." moved on representative.
"Twenty-fourth actually." noted Enji.
"Yep, believe or not, you're a big face. Despite your usual scowl. However, you're also the highest ranking Hero in Musutafu and this little test patrol can't be a big trouble to you." said the support's man.
"Pardon, is this test would be in Musutafu?" asked the tall Pro.
"Yes, it is. Funnily enough its fairly close to your Hero Agency." replied Jack.
"Let's see what this young engineer is up." declared Endeavor as he started to move.
"Where are you going?" asked the shorter man after his double take about the latter's possible choice.
"I would like to learn more about these armors made by the mentioned prodigy. And if I'm right, they're working at the Forge named modified warehouse under the Akatani Industries' ownership. This is the place where this project in parts is made." answered the Todoroki.
"Yes, you're right. I'll help you to get in." retorted the Midoriya as he caught up.
Sometime later they arrived, and Jack assisted the Flame Hero to enter the Forge.
"Here we are." introduced the citizen the building's interior to the Pro, who saw several heavy equipment used for production and other works alongside different materials.
"Interesting." commented Enji.
"Izuku!" suddenly the guide shouted.
"I am here!" shouted back a young voice, the voice of a near five years old. This threw the Hero off the loop.
"Your prodigy is a kindergartener!" exclaimed in barely hid shock.
"Well, surprise." joked his company. "We should move, he is probably doing a finishing touch."
Getting near to the voice's origin, Endeavor saw a small kid with green hair and eyes working on to take on an equally sized gray suit which reminded him from an early Iron Man armor.
"Nice to meet you little one." introduced himself the Pro to the boy, who dropped the helmet as he turned to him.
"Endeavor! Nice to meet you sir. It's an honor to meet you. I am Midoriya Izuku." bowed quickly the child and finishing that he put up the helmet and took on.
"Is this your first suit?" asked him the crimson haired man.
"Yes, it is. If we discount the exoskeleton for testing." replied the boy a bit nervously and cumbersomely stepped closer to him.
"Hm, this need some work to be perfect. Although for a start it isn't that bad." noted Todoroki.

Finishing the second story, which was about building his first six suit, including the latest one, the heavily armed Model 6.
"So, your uncle could persuade Endeavor himself to supervise that test of yours." exclaimed Kota.
"And those are the stories behind your lifesaving armors." said suddenly a new voice, making the kids looking there, this came from a man.
Next to Inko were, two adults stood, seemingly they listened at the story too after they've arrived.
"Mom? Dad? What are you doing here?" asked the preteen from his parents.
"We saw a big suit flying there, so we followed. Nice to meet you young Midoriyas. This man is Masaki, my husband and I am Izumi Kaoruko, we're Kota's parents." introduced themselves the boy's parents.
"Nice to meet you, my sister is Eri and I am Izuku." introduced the teen his sibling and himself, the summoned armor was still nearby.
"Also, we've moved here to live a more peaceful life and the Water Hose duo could help Nabu Island. Hopefully we can get used to it." revealed Masaki.
"Wow. That's great. Are you alright?" asked them Izuku.
"Yes, we're. Thankfully for you." replied Kaoruko.
"You saved our life kid. You're an amazing newly coming Hero." complimented Kota's father.
"I'm not a Hero yet. But I'll be once I graduate from U.A." said the greenette boy.
"U.A.? That's a good choice. We were graduated from there too." revealed the preteen's mother.
"Actually I was a Shiketsu student before I dared to lose my uniform hat in an internship and U.A. accepted me as an extra pupil in the Hero Course." said the black haired father.
"I bet it was a fun change." noted the young prodigy.
"Of course. Not that I was a big rules guy in my first Hero School." replied the Water Hose's male member.
"Dad, mom. Can I be friends with the Midoriya kids?" asked Kota his parents.
"Why not? They're a friendly family and I've heard Izuku is very popular among the younger kids. Plus, you can learn a lot from him." answered his mother.
"Really?" questioned that Masaki.
"That's very true. To most children Izuku is like an older brother on Nabu Island." revealed Inko, the teen's mom. "He also started to teach two of them to martial arts for self-defense already."
"Are you a master of one? And which?" asked the man from the younger greenette.
"Midoriryu, I am its founder too." replied the questioned.
"No way. I want to learn that too." exclaimed Kota.
"I would like to be big and strong like you Izu." added Eri as the women nearly fainted from her cuteness.
"Okay, I'll teach you." gave the young teacher quickly, not even he could resist to the girl's adorableness which was toned down by her harsh "upbringing" from Overhaul.
