New Kobe Orbital shipyards were full of people, and now full of Brakiri too. The Brakiri advisors and volunteers were working 24/7 in a new idea to improve the Earthforce fleet: the use of artificial gravity modules. This modules would sustitute the parts of the ship, like the Bridge, with crew builded by the Earthforce with replicas with artificial gravity. This would allow to give this technology to the current fleet without having to build new ships. The modular building system used by the human space industry allowed to upgrade the whole fleet in just a couple of months using this modules. But the big price was the development of an entire new ship.
The concept was allready being developed, called the Omega project, the idea of a new multiporpouse capital ship, using the Nova Dreadnoght's hull but, not only without the many twin plasma cannon's turrets, but with a rotating section in the middle to house the crew, bridge and most of the quarters with crew. The war first and the Skeletor/Robocop ships construction halted the whole project, and now with the Brakiri gravity knowledge it was abandoned.
However Ing. BenjamÃn Godoy had another idea for them. The eotation section could be fixed and used to house two huge two meters wide Gauss supercannons, already being builded to give Earthforce a gun capable of destroying one Sharlin with one shoot. The proyect was named Leviathan, for the invincible creature from the Bible. The first two ships to be builded would be the EAS Leviathan and EAS Behemot, others would follow like the Ancalagon, the Smaug, the Hydra, the Godzilla, the King Kong and the Kaeyu.
Those ships would allways travel escorted by two Skeletor/Robocop ships, with their control crews housed in the enhanced quarters. New laser beams were installed, and missile batteries, nuclear mines launchers and new Flak CIWS as additional defensive weapons. Thus huge multiproposal capital ships would be the new backbone of the Earthforce fleet, designed to outmatch any capital ship of any of the younger races.

Lord Refa called back to the capital the ambassador Londo Molari, the current diplomatic movements and the building of a huge abd improved fleet was a great headache for most of the Centauri Houses. Emperor Turhan never worried about human expansion, and cherried the Earth Alliance victory over the Dilgar. He thought the humans were not only a great comercial partner but also a potential ally against Narn imperialism, and was upset about current diplomatic situation. The Houses, for the other hand, believed humans were a threat, abd they won't stay with arms crossed waiting while earthers turn the League into a huge protectorate.
Lord Refa was aware of Londo's orders regarding the failed peace talks mediated by the Narn, so he was hoping he could do something more.
-Molari, please take a sit, have some Bravari, i know how much you like it. Here, this one is from my private reserve- said, while he serve a glass.
Molari was not a fool, he new very well Lord Refa and what could come with this courtesy.
-Lord Refa, thanks so much. What can i do for you today?
- The Centaurum is worried, Molari. Your Earth Alliance friends are fighting much more than you, and i, expected, and our prudent neutrality is putting the Republic in a bad position. They are turning half of the League in a protectorate, and their ships are about to catch ours in tech and weapons.
-And in numbers too. They are building ships like there were no tomorrow!
- And precisily that it's what you tell them this was, Londo. So they hear you, too late i'm afraid.
-Yes. Well get to the point, what did you want me to do?
-I remember when all this started you provided the Earthers with our intel about Minbari's fleet. I think it's time to do the same with the Federation, you know, to keep our neutrality.
Molari stare hard at him. That intel could end in a masacre, and he was still feeling bad about destroying that narn cruiser in Epsilon.
- Don't look me that way, Londo! I know you like the humans, but our Republic it's at stake! If the Earthers win this war they would be the new Lion in the Galaxy, and we would be their pet!
Lord Refa was right. Damn, he was right!
- I think you are not understanding my actions. I was acting in full accord of the politics developed by Our Emperor Turhan about the humans. I tried to warn them about going after the Minbari, and that's why we give them the data, a decision the Emperor Himself aproved. About the incident in Epsilon, i give the order to halt a smuggling operation carried out by the Narns, i wasn't informed they were involved in secret peace talks! I regret my decision now, but it was impossible to me know that! I wished i knew, Great Maker! If you want to do something like it, do it yourself!
Saying this, he left, to the Lord Refa's fury.
The first two Leviathan Destroyers were deployed to the Sinzar system. There they will test the main cannons, the new lasers and the gravity modules. If those test went fine, there were ten more hulls ready to start mass production in the Earth shipyards and five in the Proxima III shipyards.
But the Earthforce wasn't the only one upgrading their ships. The Worker cast decided to improve the Sharlin class with a defensive grid of anti fighter/anti missile beams, another main antimatter cannon and a new class of fighter, bigger, with two heavy particule cannons. Also the religious cast was starting to design a new type of ship, corvette size,with Vorlon organic armour. But it will take at least five years to develope a full operational prototype.
As part of the technology exchange between Earth Alliance and the League worlds some of the races were refitting their assets with human systems, like the BIOEYE, the Cervatana Mk II missiles and Gauss cannons. The huge but almost useless Brakiri cruisers were the most improved with all this features, turning their armada in something to fear of.
The League ambassadors were very busy, because the Brakiri delegate and the Gaim one were working in a military alliance to make the League, or at least some members, allies of the Earth Alliance. They would enjoy the Earthforce protection, and benefit from the technological exchange. However they know both, Centauri Republic and Narn Regime would be very upset, and some races like the Hyach, the Abbai or the Yolu don't want to be in such a compromise with any galatic power, and be forced to support a war they prefer to stay out as much as possible. In the human side there were two positions about it. First the imperialist one, where the Earth Alliance would gain more and more influence over the League, and challenge the Narn, Centauri and Minbari power. And the second was to not go beyond influence key words only, like Brakos or Pak'Ma'Rah homeworld.
